Alienation of Affection Lawsuit Sees Bitter Husband Awarded $8.8 Million From Wife"s Lover

In a stunning case, a jilted husband exploited an archaic law to sue the man who had an affair with his wife — and won.

What is truly shocking is how well it worked. The court awarded him an $ 8.8 million judgment, most of which is punitive.

This story and this case is sensational and even ridiculous — but it"s also more troubling than it may sound.

A man named Keith King sued Francisco Huizar III, whom his wife had been seeing for 16 months.

Of the $ 8.8 million that the judge awarded to King in damages, only $ 2.2 were over allegedly tangible losses — because King claims that his company lost money and a valuable employee in the process.

That employee being his wife, Danielle Swords.

King sued Huizar for criminal conversation, alienation of affection, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligent infliction of emotional distress, and assault and battery.

"Criminal conversation" is essentially a legalese euphemism for extramarital sex acts.

The allegations of "assault and battery" are … well, based upon something that happened later.

A little over five years after Danielle Swords married Keith King, she met Huizar at a bike show for her husband"s company, King BMX Stunt Shows.

According to allegations made by King"s attorneys, Huizar "pursued" Swords, which eventually led to him renting a home near her.

From there, the two enjoyed spa days and hotel visits and, you know, normal affair stuff. Please don"t cheat on your spouse, folks.

Apparently King first noticed that his wife was exchanging inappropriate texts with Huizar. If he learned that by going through her private messages without permission, that is a huge red flag.

King has hotel reciepts and call logs that he says support his claims about Huizar.

King"s 33-year-old wife Danielle Swords says that their marriage was already in trouble when Huizar came along, but King disagrees, and lays the blame at the feet of Huizar.

Swords eventually separated from King, moving into an apartment of her own.

When Keith went there, he was apparently "shocked" to see Huizar there with her.

It appears that he freaked out, and Swords recorded a video of him whining "that"s my wife!"

Under other circumstances, one might choose to feel sorry for the guy. As it is, he used the incident to accuse Huizar of assault and battery.

From footage that Swords herself recorded, it looks like all that Huizar did was keep King from entering an apartment where he was not welcome.

Here is why this is serious.

Alienation of Affection laws essentially treat women as property instead of as independent human beings who can make their own choices.

Most states do no have "alienation of affection" laws still on the books, because it"s 2018 and most of us agree that women are people.

But North Carolina still has this law on the books. And so do Hawaii, Mississippi, New Mexico, South Dakota, and Utah.

Huizar is going to appeal the judgment (paying isn"t even an option, of course), and hopefully, his case"s appeals could get his barbaric law thrown out.

If you"re wondering why so many feel disgust and contempt towards King and not for Swords, who cheated, even though cheating is bad … listen to the way that he talks about her.

Speaking to Inside Edition, King s

"If she had been in a car accident," King says. "And I walked up on the car accident and saw her dead in the car, that"s what it felt like to me."

That is a very creepy comparison. Especially considering that she is a person who is alive and well, but just decided that she didn"t want to be married to him.

"I felt like I had just witnessed her die," King says.

If he feels that the mother of his child only has any value if she"s still "his," it"s no surprise that he dedicated his time and resources to exacting revenge upon the man she prefers in court.

We definitely think that Swords should have not had an affair and instead separated before taking up with Huizar.

But, at the same time, we hope that Huizar"s appeal is successful. The court"s judgment may have followed the law, but the law is dehumanizing to consenting adults and should be overturned or abolished.

Teresa Giudice: Vacationing With a Lover?! Openly Prepping for Divorce?!

While Teresa Giudice spent her 11 months in prison, it was reported numerous times that Joe Giudice didn’t exactly keep his hands to himself.

Now that Joe’s taking his turn behind bars for a couple of years, some say that it’s Teresa’s turn to cheat. Others say that it’s okay, because she’s getting a divorce from Joe anyway.

A report says that Teresa’s no longer keeping things with her lover under wraps — that she’s openly vacationing with him. How soon is she getting divorced?

They say that if you can’t do the time, you shouldn’t do the crime.

They also say that no one is above the law.

While the latter has yet to be demonstrated for Presidents, it’s definitely true that starring on The Real Housewives of New Jersey doesn’t make you above being dragged into court and sentenced to prison.

Years before Countess Luann de Lesseps was arrested for kicking a police officer, Teresa Giudice became a Real Housewife of the Big House.

(Side note: we would be very intrigued by a television series by that name)

The judge was kind enough to, for the sake of the Giudice children, sentence Teresa and her husband, Joe, to serve non-concurrent sentences.

While Teresa was locked away — she ended up serving only 11 of her 15 months — Joe was with the couples’ children.

And, reportedly, he was with other women who were not his daughters.

By which we mean that he was allegedly cheating on Teresa Giudice left and right.

Teresa said that she didn’t believe those rumors but …

What are we to make of this photo that she shared over the weekend?

Teresa posted this photo of herself with Loren B. La Forge-Kyriakoulis at dinner, captioning it:

“Dinner with a great friend lots of laughs @laforgekyriakoulis # webothlovefood #greekfood”

Now, that might be a totally innocuous social media post.

(Teresa’s actually been uncharacteristically quiet on social media, lately)

But La Forge is a divorce attorney. Is Teresa posting a photo with a friend … or a hint that she’s gearing up to leave Joe?

To top it all off, RadarOnline reports that not only is Teresa cheating on Joe, she recently took her secret lover on vacation.

“Teresa went to Cancun for the holidays with her boyfriend,” a source reported to them.

And apparently they’ve reached a place in their (alleged) relationship where she’s fine having this mystery guy around her family.

“Her dad was even there, so she’s hardly hiding it anymore!”

Is this the case? If so, it sounds like she’s gearing up to let Joe rot behind bars.

Honestly? We’re not necessarily convinced that she’s cheating on Joe. They have a long, complicated relationship, but not even her frenemy Danielle Staub believes that Teresa’s cheating.

(And not, we think, just because Teresa Giudice apologized in a recent episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey)

If Teresa’s dinner with La Forge was really about divorce, then it may be that Teresa’s gearing up to leave Joe … for reasons other than a lover of her own.

For one thing? Joe is an Italian immigrant. He’s not a US citizen, and may end up getting deported when his prison sentence ends. She may be preparing for that drama now.

Or, again, she may have just been out to dinner with a friend. We don’t know.

Aaron Hernandez: Alleged Gay Lover Speaks Out, Demands to See Suicide Note

It’s been one month since Aaron Hernandez was found dead inside his cell at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Massachusetts.

The matter remains under investigation, and while Hernandez left three suicide notes explaining his motives, the letters have raised as many questions as they’ve answered.

For starters, there’s the matter of to whom the notes were addressed.

We know that Hernandez wrote to his fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins.

In it, he promised Jenkins that she would soon be wealthy, a comment that’s led to speculation that Hernandez timed his suicide so as to exploit a legal loophole.

The former NFL tight end seemed to be aware that if he died while his murder conviction was in the appeals stage, he would be posthumously deemed not guilty, meaning that Patriots organization might be forced to dole out massive payments to the beneficiaries of his will.

The intended recipients of the other two letters remains in question.

Several media outlets have reported that one of the notes was addressed to Hernandez’s 4-year-old daughter, while the other was intended for either his lawyer or Kyle Kennedy, a prison friend and alleged lover of Hernandez’s.

The letters are being held by prison authorities as part of their investigation, so the matter remains unsettled.

Now, Kennedy is demanding that he be allowed to view the contents of the note that he believes is addressed to him.

“I want to be clear that at no time have I seen a note addressed to me from my close friend Aaron Hernandez but I have reason to believe it was in fact intended for me,” reads a statement issued by Kennedy and published today by Radar Online.

“It was the press that first reported that this letter was sent to me and as a result, my attorney, Larry Army Jr., has repeatedly requested a copy for us to review.”

Kennedy acknowledged that it’s still unclear who the intended recipient of the letter is, and he believes the only way that question can be decisively answered is if authorities release Hernandez’s final communications:

“The story about who this letter was sent to has changed several times, but based upon the close relationship that I had with Aaron, it is highly likely that it was in fact intended for me,” Kennedy writes.

“I again renew my request to have the letter released to my attorney so we can put this issue to rest.”

As for the question of whether or not there was a romantic element to Hernandez and Kennedy’s relationship, the inmate says he’ll address the matter publicly following his release from prison:

“In addition, my attorney has spoken at length about the watch that Aaron told me he was leaving to me as a gift. I have no further comment on that issue at this time,” Kennedy’s statement reads.

“There has been a lot said about me and my personal life in recent weeks, some of it accurate and some of it not. I remain incarcerated at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley but at the appropriate time, I will address these issues and set the record straight.”

Teenage Chicken Nugget Lover Sets All-Time Twitter Record, Sticks It to Ellen

You really want to break the Internet, Kim Kardashian?

You need not remove any layers of clothing to do so.

As Carter Wilkerson can attest, you simply need to ask a question of Wendy’s via social media.

Back on April 5, this 16-year old from Nevada sent a seemingly simple and harmless Tweet. He thought it would be a fun joke for his friends.

Yo, Wendy’s, Carter inquired. How many re-Tweets for a year of free chicken nuggets?

To Carter’s surprise, the restaurant’s official Twitter account (which has become famous for being awesome and hilarious) actually responded, telling Wilkerson he needed 18 million.

“Consider it done,” Carter wrote back, prior to telling his followers: “HELP ME PLEASE. A MAN NEEDS HIS NUGGS.”

It was all meant to be in good fun… but one should never underestimate the power of Twitter.

wendy

Or of chicken nuggets, we guess.

Wilkerson’s Tweet was picked up by one person… and then another person…

… and then it spread like a fire in the wild and when the above message surpassed 3.43 million re-Tweets, Wendy’s said Carter could go ahead and have his free nuggets for a year.

Yes, the post has fallen far short of the 18 million Tweets Wendy’s had initially agreed upon.

As of this morning, however, it had become the MOST RE-TWEETED MESSAGE OF ALL-TIME.

So the chain figured this accomplishment was notable enough for Carter to receive his year’s supply of free food, and also for the company to donate $ 100,000 in his name to the Dave Thomas Foundation For Adoption.

“You’ve more than earned our respect … and the nuggets,” Kurt Kane, chief concept and marketing officer for The Wendy’s Company, said in a statement.

The previous re-Tweet record belonged to this Ellen DeGeneres-anchor selfie, which Bradley Cooper snapped in 2014 when the comedian hosted that year’s Academy Awards.

Over the past few weeks, as it looked more and more likely that Carter would take the talk show host down, she and Cooper did all they could to hold on to their top spot.

They even recorded the following Public Service Announcement:

Alas, even Ellen could not slow down the young man now known as The Nugget Kid.

In an interview with The New York Times yesterday, when he was 3,600 re-Tweets behind DeGeneres, Wilkerson said he was preparing for AP examples, going over college applications and getting ready to take his girlfriend to the prom.

He didn’t expect to become a viral sensation.

But he doesn’t mind the newfound status, either.

“I think they’re all pretty jealous,” Carter said of his classmates. “Who doesn’t want to be the Nugget Kid?”

Now with over 100,000 followers, Carter is trying to use his Internet fame for good.

He encourages followers to donate to Pinocchio’s Moms on the Run, a Reno organization that supports women with breast cancer.

And he also wrote the following back in January, in case anyone thought this was some calculate marketing move by Wendy’s:

liking Wendys

“It’s super important to enjoy it while it lasts, because it won’t last forever,” Carter tells The Times, adding with honesty:

“It’d be pretty cool to put on my college applications that I’m the No. 1 retweeted tweet of all time.”

And now he can do so!

All without saying anything remotely dumb or controversial, which is more than the following stars can claim:

Aaron Hernandez"s 3rd Suicide Note Was for Attorney, Not Gay Lover

Aaron Hernandez Asked to Share Cell with Male Lover, Attorney Confirms

A new piece of information regarding the life and recent death of former NFL standout Aaron Hernandez has surfaced.

And it centers around his alleged gay lover.

As previously reported, multiple outlets have claimed that Hernandez lived somewhat of a double life over the years.

He was engaged to Shayanna Jenkins, with whom the convicted killer shared a four-year old daughter.

But he also may have been a bisexual, possibly even murdering Odin Lloyd in 2013 to keep this sexual preference a secret.

There hadn’t been any rumblings about Hernandez being attracted to both men and women during his trial for Lloyd’s murder or his subsequent trial for a double murder in 2012 (for which he was acquitted).

But a bombshell report surfaced late last week that claimed Hernandez penned three suicide notes prior to hanging himself inside a Massachusetts:

1. To Jenkins.

2. To his daughter.

3. To his prison boyfriend, a man named Kyle Kennedy.

And now a lawyer for Kennedy has spoken out about the slew of reports linking him to the one-time New England Patriots star.

Kennedy’s attorney alleges that Aaron requested to prison officials that he be placed in the same cell as his fellow inmate and purported lover.

Aaron Hernandez had requested to the prison that my client, Kyle Kennedy, be his cellmate,” said Larry Army Jr. to The Daily Mail.

Army works as the managing partner of the Boston firm Army & Roche.

The attorney added that Kennedy (pictured above) was open to the idea, telling the British newspaper:

“If he was going to be in with someone else, why not Aaron Hernandez?”

The Daily Mail writes that it has reached out to Massachusetts Corrections Department spokesman Christopher Fallon for corroboration of this request.

The office has yet to comment on this report.

Kennedy, meanwhile, was imprisoned in 2015 for using a knife to rob a Cumberland Farms store in Northbridge, Massachusetts.

He pleaded down an original charge of armed and masked robbery to the lesser charge of armed robbery and received a sentence of three to five years.

Army says his client has not seen the suicide note Hernandez reportedly wrote to him.

Hernandez hanged himself in prison last Wednesday, April 19.

He had been serving a lifetime sentence behind bars, with no possibility for parole, due to his shooting of Lloyd.

Said a prison spokesman shortly after his death:

“Mr. Hernandez [hanged] himself utilizing a bed sheet that he attached to his cell window. [He] was in a single cell in a general population unit.”

“Mr. Hernandez also attempted to block his door from the inside by jamming the door with various items,” the spokesman said.

He also scrawled Bible verse John 3:16 on himself.

The former star tight end’s body was found around 3 a.m. and he was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital an hour later.

In the face of initial questions by some close to Hernandez over how he ended his once-promising life, the Worcester District Attorney’s Office has issued the following statement:

“Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Henry N. Nields performed an autopsy on Mr. Hernandez on Wednesday.

“[Neilds] concluded today that the manner of death was suicide and the cause asphyxia by hanging.”

The office added that investigators also discovered “cardboard jammed into the door tracks of his single-inmate cell to impede entry into the cell.”

Despite rumors circulating that suggested Aaron was murdered – which is own attorney implied – officials reached the following conclusion:

“There were no signs of a struggle, and investigators determined that Mr. Hernandez was alone at the time of the hanging.”

Lorraine Gilles: See! I Was Melanie Brown’s Consensual Lover!

Lorraine Gilles is sticking to her word after claiming that she and Melanie Brown engaged in a seven-year sexual relationship

Her latest effort comes in the form of some pictures that apparently implicate Melanie Brown as being Lorraine’s lover.

Gilles uploaded the pictures to Pinterest, because, apparently that is the best source for information for a lawsuit.

We are not kidding; she apparently used the below pictures in the defamation suit.

The above picture looks like a friendly enough picture to friends would take together. Right? I mean, it looks like one of those pictures you would see women sharing on social media at the weekend.

Nothing from it screams that they were in a relationship, so there’s that.

The below picture does nothing to help Lorraine’s case, either.

Yet again, it’s a picture that could have been taken under the most sincere of circumstances. All of this seems like it won’t stand up in court.

I mean, there is every possibility that Lorraine has other evidence she’s keeping out of the public eye, but so far, we’re not quite buying the story.

Ever since it was announced that Mel B was divorcing from Stephen Belafonte, the couple has been embroiled in a very public feud. Mel B even speculated that her former nanny had joined forces with her Belafonte to drag her name through the mud and extort her.

In the midst of the divorce, it has been alleged that Belafonte has a sex tape of himself, Mel B and Gilles. Mel B even claimed in court that Gilles was under Belafonte’s payroll and was basically hired as a sex worker.

Gilles seemed to think she had little choice in the matter, and the suit alleges that Mel “seduced a naive and a curious 18-year-old foreign exchange student … with alcohol, fame, and casual sex.”

Gilles claims, her “sexual and employment relationship with Brown continued for approximately seven years.”

Um, okay then.

This is one feud we’re likely going to be hearing about for quite some time, but what will be the next big revelation?

We have no idea, but we’re intrigued.

Aaron Hernandez Lawyer Responds to Gay Prison Lover Reports

On April 19, former New England Patriots tight end and convicted murderer Aaron Hernandez was found dead in his cell at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Lancaster, Massachusetts.

He was just 27 years old.

As more details emerge about the tragic life and death of Aaron Hernandez, the mystery of his decision to take his own life only deepens.

Early in the investigation it was revealed that Hernandez had scrawled a Bible passage on his forehead in blood.

Authorities later corrected that report, clarifying that what was thought to be blood was actually red ink, which was also used to create the appearance of stigmata-like wounds on Hernandez’s hands and feet.

Blood was reportedly used to create an unfinished pyramid drawing and write the word “Illuminati” in all-capital letters on the wall of Hernandez’s cell.

Adding to the mystery is the fact that Hernandez was acquitted on double murder charges just days before his suicide.

The 27-year-old was still serving a life sentence for the murder of Odin Lloyd, but the acquittal improved his odds that he would be able to successfully appeal the conviction.

For obvious reasons, the public interest in Hernandez’s bizarre death has been considerable, and one of the most obsessed-over details is the fact that Hernandez left three suicide notes for authorities to find in his cell.

One was addressed to Hernandez’s daughter, another to the the girl’s mother, and a third to a fellow inmate who is believed to be Hernandez’s gay lover.

The man has now been identified as Kyle Kennedy, but he has reportedly declined to comment on the nature of his relationship with Hernandez.

Now, Hernandez’s attorney, Jose Baez, is speaking out on his late client’s behalf and insisting that there is no truth to the rumors of a romantic relationship between Hernandez and Kennedy.

Baez did not say who the third letter was addressed to, but in a statement issued today, he claimed that there is no truth to the rumors that Hernandez was involved in a homosexual relationship:

“Rumors of letters to a gay lover, in or out of prison, are false,” says Baez.

“These are malicious leaks used to tarnish somebody who is dead.”

Asked by TMZ Sports if he still believes foul play may have been involved in Hernandez’s death, Baez replied:

“There is still plenty we are investigating.”

We’ll have further updates on this story as more information becomes available.

Aaron Hernandez: Gay Prison Lover Identified?

Last week, the world was shocked to learn that former New England Patriots tight end and convicted murderer Aaron Hernandez was found dead in his prison cell after having apparently taken his own life.

As details of the 27-year-old’s final moments emerged, it became clear that the tragic incident might forever be surrounded in mystery.

Authorities confirmed that Hernandez scrawled a Bible passage on his forehead in red ink and used the same ink to create the appearance of wounds on his hands and feet in apparent reference to the crucifixion of Christ.

The Bible in his cell lay open to the chapter and verse written on his forehead, and tucked inside the pages were three separate suicide notes:

One was addressed to Hernandez’s former fiancee, another to his 4-year-old daughter, and a third to a fellow inmate.

It’s been widely reported that the inmate was Hernandez’s gay lover

Details about the convict were slow to emerge, but today, Radar Online is identifying him as Kyle Kennedy, a 22-year-old Massachusetts man serving a sentence on armed robbery charges.

The contents of the letters remain unknown, but those familiar with the situation say there’s little doubt that Hernandez and Kennedy were involved in a romantic relationship.

Insiders add that prior to his death, Hernandez transferred ownership of a $ 50,000 watch to Kennedy as a gift for when he’s released from prison.

Kennedy has reportedly been on suicide watch ever since the night when Hernandez’s body was found.

Kennedy has been in prison since January of 2015, when he was arrested after robbing a gas station cashier with a knife.

The revelation that Hernandez may have been bisexual sheds new light on the details of his murder conviction.

Throughout the trial, a Hernandez associate named Ernest Wallace claimed that Hernandez’s victim, Odin Lloyd, repeatedly taunted the athlete with gay slurs and threatened to out him.

Wallace says he believes it was Hernandez’s fear of being exposed as bisexual that motivated him to take Lloyd’s life.

We may never find out for certain what motivated Hernandez to murder Lloyd and then take his own life.

All we know now is that this unimaginably tragic situation somehow continues to get sadder by the day.
