The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 9 Episode 2 Recap: Teresa Giudice Reignites Her Feud With Joe & Melissa Gorga

Wednesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey reignited the feud between Teresa Giudice and her brother, Joe Gorga, and it looks like we’re in for a season of backstabs between the brother and sister.

If you watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online, you know the season premiere found Teresa opening up about Joe steering clear of their father in recent months, signaling that things were going south for the family.

“My brother used to be around more when my mom first passed away, and I’m really nervous to say anything to him because when I brought this up in the past, it got ugly,” Teresa explained of the situation in a confessional.

“My brother and I have been doing really well for a while now, and I definitely don’t want history to repeat itself. Life is short. I just don’t want my brother to have any regrets.”

In true Teresa fashion, she brought it up during a family gathering. Thankfully, she did not throw some tables. She’s learned from her mistakes.

Things started to get heated during the dinner party, with Joe’s father Giacinto yelling about his son not calling him, going as far as saying “F–k you” to him.

“Are you going to be around more for this one? He wants you around more,” she said. “The kid that’s not around the most, that’s the kid you always want.”

Melissa who has feuded with Teresa in the past because of her association with her brother took to a confessional to complain about the whole thing.

“Who brings up a super sensitive, going-to-cause-a-problem conversation on Easter Sunday? Especially in front of my father-in-law, who is super upset as it is,” she asked.

“This is definitely not the day, the time, the place. Like, your timing sucks.”

“Not on Easter,” Melissa added.

“This conversation gets my skin crawling because I get instant flashbacks of the pain that Joe went through years ago over conversations that were similar.”

“I know my husband. When you push him, and you constantly say the same thing to him over and over again, I know he’s going to explode. Joe is a ticking time bomb. It’s going to happen.”

Joe made it clear that he was getting sick of the way Teresa was acting.

“You gotta cut that out,” he snapped at Teresa.

“You always bring that up in front of Daddy. ‘Oh you work too much, you’re not around.’ Listen to me, if I was sitting in a bar all day, if I was sitting in restaurants, that’s a different story. But what am I going to do? When you put in 15 hours a day, hard work? I’m exhausted.”

“You know my life. You know the business, it’s crazy. I work hardcore, all day, every day, nonstop. Unbelievable stresses,” Joe added.

“My business takes all my freakin time. Is he going to pay my bills? No one pays my bills. What am I going to do, just give it all up?”

That was not all Teresa had to say, however.

“I’m just saying, he bitches to me all the time,” she complained. “I got to hear him! ‘Your brother don’t call me. It’s been five days.’“

“Since I’ve lost my mom, holidays are more emotional. I’m just trying to make the holiday as best as I can for my dad. I just want to make him happy. He needs that,” Teresa said, addressing the cameras.

“Before I went away, I spent a lot of time with my mom. And right now all I can think about is how when I came home, I wished I spent more time with my mom. So it’s frustrating that my brother makes the effort to see my dad just on a holiday.”

Teresa’s daughter, Gia, turned to her uncle Joe with her take on what was going on.

“It’s not fair,” said the teenager. “We get it so much from Nonno, you don’t even know. I know you have work, trust me, I know. But if you don’t call him for a day, he says something. … At least just try, in a week, just one designated day for Nonno.”

But there was no getting through to Joe who maintained that he was a busy man.

“I don’t give a s—,” yelled Teresa. “You have to make time. In life, that’s how it is. Capeesh?”

While the fighting simmered down and everyone enjoyed the rest of the day, Joe confirmed in a confessional that he was mad at his sister.

“Teresa was always like this when we were kids,” Joe admitted. “When it came to me, she would rat me out. Why are you still doing this? It’s going to cause a big problem again, which we don’t need.”

As if that wasn’t enough drama, Margaret informed Danielle that she was going to an event hosted by Dolores and things got a little bit crazy.

“She invited me to this thing–,” said Margaret BUT Danielle butted in.

“And you coulda said, ‘No, I’m not coming because that will make Danielle very upset and very hurt. It’ll hurt her!’ Because you coulda said, ‘This would hurt me if the tables were turned.’ You coulda said anything but, ‘Yes, I’ll come."”

As Margaret tried to calm Danielle down, the former main cast member decided to storm off, but she came back with a parting shot:

“What is it that you two really have in common? You cheated on your husband, and she got cheated on?”

That has got to be one of the best one-liners in the history of the series, and just like that, it looks like another friendship is over.

What are your thoughts on all the drama?

Teresa Giudice Hasn"t Had Sex in Well Over Two Years

In the eyes of Teresa Giudice and her loved ones, Joe Giudice has been screwed over by the American justice system.

This is their takeaway after a judge sentenced that the Real Housewives of New Jersey star must actually be deported back to his native country of Italy after he gets released from prison in 2019.

But while Teresa and her four kids think their loved one has gotten the shaft as a result of this decision, Giudice admitted something to Andy Cohen this week.

She hasn"t gotten Joe"s shaft in well over two years.

By which we mean the following:

Teresa has not had sexual intercourse in a very, very, VERY long time.

“There have always been rumors that you and Joe were going to get divorced, and now he’s been away and my poor girl has not had sex in a long time ‘cause there’s no conjugal visits,” Cohen said while chatting with Giudice on Watch What Happens Live.

“Two years and seven months. I’m counting," Teresa said in response.

Such a dry spell would appear to spell doom for a marriage, although Teresa swears she isn"t gonna split from Joe.

Instead, this lack of boning can be more connected to a simple lack of time Teresa and Joe have had together.

Not because they are working long hours or anything like that…

… but because Teresa was in jail for 11 months and then, as soon as she was freed, Joe was placed behind bars to begin his prison sentence for bankruptcy and other types of financial fraud.

Both husband and wife pleaded guilty to these charges in 2014.

As a result, they haven"t exactly had time to much hanky or panky in the years since.

In October, a judge ordered Joe to be deported to his native Italy after his release from prison. He plans to appeal the ruling.

Will Teresa be by his side throughout the process?

Will she ever be back under his naked body ever again?

Only time will tell, folks.

Check out the video here to watch Teresa spill all the deets about her sex life… or lackthereof.

Teresa Giudice: My Husband Getting Deported Just Sucks!

Teresa Giudice talked more candidly than ever before today about the very unusual and unfortunate situation affecting her family.

Appearing as a guest on Good Morning America, the Real Housewives of New Jersey mainstay discussed her husband’s deportation at length.

(It really is true: Joe Giudice will be deported back to Italy after he’s released from prison in 2019 because he committed a felony and he never became a U.S. citizen, despite moving here for good as a child.)

Teresa described the sentencing, which a judge handed down last month, as “heartbreaking” during her spot on GMA.

She then elaborated as follows:

“Very sad. The girls are really upset. You know, it’s hard for them … Adults can handle anything. It’s hard for children to go through this. They’re asking themselves, ‘Why is this happening to me?’

“Like, ‘I want my daddy to come home."”

Teresa and Joe are parents to a quartet of daughters:

Gia, 17, Gabriella, 14, Milania, 12, and Audriana, 9.

Both Gia and Milania have made public pleas for the deportation ruling to be overturned, with the former writing on Instagram:

“My father is no threat to society. He is one of the most warm hearted people I know.

“My father did his time. And learned from his mistakes. Isn’t being in there supposed to make you realize your mistakes so you can become a better person?”

Teresa, meanwhile, says she’s been getting support herself from Gia, saying on Good Morning America:

“I tell her every day she’s like the rock of her sisters. She’s helping me, you know, explain things to them – because my third daughter is having a really hard time with this.”

In 2014, Teresa and Joe each pleaded guilty to 41 counts of fraud, including mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud.

Moreover, Joe admitted that he did not pay approximately $ 200,000 in taxes.

It totally sucks that four young girls will be living far apart from their father, but it’s hard to have too much sympathy for rich people who break the law and try to game the system.

Teresa served 11 months behind bars in 2015; Joe’s 41-month sentence started the following year.

Then, on October 10, a judge found the restaurateur “deportable and ineligible for any kind of relief,” ordering him to leave the United States when his sentence concludes in March.

Giudice has said she will remain by Joe’s side even when he leaves the country, but various insiders have said otherwise.

They predict a divorce.

“I never thought I would be in this position,” Teresa said on GMA, adding:

“We’ve been through a lot. I’ve gone through ups and downs, like being angry – but listen, I have to stay strong.

“I have four beautiful daughters that, you know, they need their mommy.”

What’s the plan moving forward?

Where will Teresa go from here?

“Just take it one day at a time,” she concluded this morning. “That’s it.”

Teresa Giudice Finally Responds: Will She Divorce Joey G?

You’ve likely heard the rumors.

You’ve probably read the headlines.

But now we have the answer.

About four months after Joe Giudice was told he was going to be deported next year after he gets released from jail, his famous wife has answered the question that continues to hang over her and her family.

Will she or won’t she divorce Joe in light of this troubling development?

Joe, who has been featured prominently on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, pleaded guilty years ago to multiple counts of financial fraud.

He was subsequently sentenced to over 40 months behind bars, a stint he is currently serving.

In late June, a judge decreed that Giudice (who moved here from Italy as a child, yet never became a United States citizen) must move back to his native country once he’s a free man because he’s an immigrant who committed a felony.

It’s as simple as that.

But Teresa and Joe’s relationship seems complicated.

Can it survive such a traumatic jolt as one half no longer being permitted to live in America?

Is Teresa devastated by this news or secretly celebrating her upcoming freedom?

Asked by Entertainment Tonight over the weekend when she would ever divorce her husband, Teresa answered succinctly:

“No. We’re going to be a family, and we’re going to fight this and get through this.”

Teresa and Joe pleaded guilty to numerous charges of fraud in 2014.

The mother of four was sentenced to 15 months in federal prison and started her sentence in January of 2015, but was released early.

Then, earlier this year, 31 months into his sentence, the U.S. Department of Justice confirmed that Joe had been ordered to leave the United States at the end of his prison sentence.

(He has fewer than 30 days to appeal the decision.)

But will he be going alone? Or might the entire Giudice clan uproot their lives to keep him company?

“We are not even thinking about [whether we’d move to Italy] right now. We’re going to take it day by day. We’re going to take it one step at a time,” Teresa told ET, adding:

“First, we’re going to process the paperwork to do an appeal, and we’re going to get through that.”

Continues Giudice:

“I can’t predict the future, and I am not going to be… I am going to be positive about it,” she said. “Joe starts talking about [the deportation order] and I don’t want to talk about it yet…

“I shut him down. I don’t want to talk about it, and what comes first is our daughters and we’re going to fight this.”

The embattled couple has four children:

17-year-old Gia, 14-year-old Gabriella, 13-year-old Milania and 9-year-old Audriana.

In response to her dad’s situation, Gia recently tried to rally support for her imprisoned father.

“My father is no threat to society,” she wrote as a caption to a throwback photo of dad and daughter, adding:

“He is one of the most warm hearted people I know…

“My father did his time. And learned from his mistakes. Isn’t being in there supposed to make you realize your mistakes so you can become a better person?”

Teresa Giudice REFUSES to Let Bravo Film Joe"s Deportation Appeal

As Joe Giudice faces almost certain deportation, Teresa has asked fans to pray for her family as they launch their desperate appeal.

Teresa is still a Real Housewife, and Bravo is offering her a hefty payday if she’ll let their cameras film this tense process.

Curiously, Teresa has said no. Perhaps she is not as icy as people seem to think.

RadarOnline reports that Teresa Giudice passed on a sizable offer to film her family’s trials and tribulations as they appeal Joe’s deportation.

Specifically, Bravo has reportedly offered Teresa $ 500,000 — a cool half million. But Teresa turned it down.

“Teresa refused to film any special scenes,” the insider reveals.

She is balking at this lucrative opportunity “because the attorney told her not to do anything until the final decision is made.”

Her pleas for leniency might not go over well with a judge who learns that she’s exploiting the drama of it all for a payday.

“She’s terrified to do anything to harm Joe,” the source explains.

Joe’s imprisonment has been bad enough on his family, but that at least was understandable.

His upcoming deportation to Italy is exacting a serious toll.

“This situation is so bad for Teresa,” the insider says.

The source adds: “She’s not talking about it at all.”

“She’s afraid that anything she says can be used against Joe,” the insider laments.

Being a public figure can really backfire when it comes to having your day in court.

The report says that Milania recently visited her father in prison, but that Teresa was otherwise occupied at the time.

“Milania has a close relationship with her dad,” the source says.

The insider says that she had to see him because “she’s been so upset by everything.”

Of course! She’s a preteen and her father is her whole world.

“Joe’s family was shocked that Teresa didn’t go with her daughter,” the source claims.

The insider then takes a harsher tone when discussing Teresa.

“Actions speak louder than words with Teresa,” the source says.

“She tells everyone she is so devastated,” the insider continues.

The source finds it odd that she asks for prayers “but then she doesn’t go visit him and doesn’t even go with Milania.”

That seems unfair, especially considering that we know what Teresa was up to at the time.

That source’s judgmental tone aside, Teresa has four daughters, not just one.

We don’t know who went with Milania (it’s hard to imagine that a 12-year-old waltzed into the prison visiting area on her own).

Teresa was out looking at universities with Gia, who just a few months away from turning 18.

When people say that life goes on, they mean that Teresa’s first responsibility is as a parent, not as a grieving wife.

She’s looking to Gia’s future.

We are sure that Joe wouldn’t have it any other way.

As for Teresa’s refusal to film, most of us can’t imagine turning down half a million dollars under most circumstances.

But she has to be wondering how she would feel if the judge denies Joe’s appeal and mentions that she had turned it into a media circus.

As we said, being a public figure can backfire.

Courts like to set an example and no prosecutor or judge wants to be accused of going easy on someone just because they’re famous.

From Dance Moms to Jersey Shore, stars of reality shows have learned that they can and will be put behind bars if they break the law.

Teresa and Joe already learned that lesson the hard way.

Now she’s just hoping and praying that being on their best behavior will keep Joe from being torn from his family forever.

Teresa Giudice Asks Fans to Pray for Her as Joe Faces Deportation

The Giudice family is rallying against Joe’s impending deportation and asking their fans for support.

Teresa is still making time to do Real Housewives events — it’s part of her job, after all.

At a recent gathering, she asked fans in the audience to keep her family in their prayers as they fight to stay together.

Teresa Giudice took part in the East Coast Vs. West Coast Real Housewives Brunch at the Mohegan Sun casino in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Us Weekly reports that, while she was there, she used her platform to ask for emotional support from the audience.

“Teresa said to please pray for me and my family,” an eyewitness reveals.

The eyewitness adds: “She really hopes Joe is out of jail to see [their daughter] Gia graduate.”

Additionally, “She said she cannot wait to see the light at the end of the tunnel.”

Not everything that Teresa discussed was as upsetting as a family being torn apart.

According to the eyewitness, Teresa “was in really good spirits and made the crowd laugh several times.”

“She explained that Dina [Manzo] and Jacqueline [Laurita] were asked to recommend beautiful women for the show,” the eyewitness reports.

“Dina recommended Teresa,” she shared.

The eyewitness then reveals: “Teresa said she does not know why Caroline [Manzo] did the show.”

Shade.

“And,” the eyewitness shares. “There was a joke about if Teresa did the show, her husband would go to jail.”

That prophecy has been fulfilled, then.

As far as doing the show, “she said she f–ken shouldn’t have.”

“She said it is Jacqueline’s fault for her doing the show,” the eyewitness adds.

“Teresa said she suckered Joe into doing the show,” the report says.

The eyewitness continues: “and now that he is away, he has watched himself and says he was an a–hole.”

Apparently Gia and her mom have been looking at universities, but Teresa is strongly encouraging for her to stay close to home.

“Teresa said she is sick of driving far,” the eyewitness reports. “So is pushing for her to go to Rutgers.”

“She said she drives too much,” the report continues. “From dropping off and picking up kids and going to see Joe, she is sick of driving.”

Teresa also dished on her 17-year-old daughter’s academic performance, which is … a hell of a thing to do.

“She said Gia struggles in school,” the eyewitness says. “And has tutors and she is tired of paying for them.”

The eyewitness reports: “She said she gets good grades, but she is not a genius like her middle daughter, who gets straight As and is the smart one.”

Teresa addressed other topics, beyond comparing the relative academic performances and intelligences of her children.

Specifically, Teresa had some not-so-kind words regarding her feud with Caroline, Jacqueline, and Kathy Wakile.

“She said she is sad she let them into her house, to be betrayed by them,” the eyewtiness reports.

“Fame and money will do that to family,” the eyewitness characterizes of Teresa’s words.

“She said,” the report concludes. “You never go against family.”

Teresa and Joe have four daughters. Gia is 17, Gabriella is 14, Milania is 12, and Audriana is 9.

For them to lose their father to deportation — a horror that is sadly all too common these days — is nothing short of tragic.

While Teresa and Joe aren’t perfect (fraud convictions and table-flipping are only the tip of that iceberg), they love their children.

(Even if Teresa openly gossips about Gia and also doesn’t seem to understand that academic performance isn’t synonymous with intelligence)

Seeing this family put on a brave face while getting torn apart is heartbreaking.

Teresa Giudice: Mom-Shamed Over THIS Photo of Daughters!

The internet loves few things more than trolling women, getting a reaction from celebrities, and mom-shaming.

Teresa Giudice just bore the brunt of all three. And it wasn’t for another bad comment about immigrants.

She shared a sweet photo of three of her daughters spending some sisterly bonding time, and is getting mom-shamed left and right. Why?

Teresa Giudice and her family have been vacationing in the Bahamas.

(Yes, we know that a lot of students went back to school this week, but not every school in the U.S. runs on the same schedule)

The The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has also shared photos of her daughters — they’re growing up so quickly!

Unfortunately, when Teresa shared the photo below, a lot of so-called fans decided to call her out and bombard he with mom-shaming comments.

These trolls seemed to hate everything — from the girls’ makeup to their outfits.

(From left to right, that’s Audriana, Gia, and Milania)

Mom-shamers decided that it was an outrage that these sisters on vacation put on makeup before having their photos taken.

“Are you f–king kidding me with the makeup?” one foul-mouthed mom-shamer demanded.

Makeup is normal for all ages, but apparently 9-year-old Audriana’s makeup is scandalous to these folks. There are younger makeup gurus on YouTube.

“Beautiful girls,” another began. “But no need for makeup.”

If you want to talk about the makeup industry or animal testing or whatever, that’s fine. Girls putting on makeup is harmless unless they’re allergic or something.

Other trolls fixated on the fact that the girls were dressed for August in the Bahamas instead of for, like, winter in a convent in Vermont.

“Wow….bra showing…wtf….” one ridiculous person lamented. “These girls are going to turn into pure trash if this continues.”

Gia is just months away from turning 18, and none of these girls are “exposing” anything — except for the twisted thoughts of some of Teresa’s followers.

“No need for… an un-buttoned shirt,” another insisted, again targeting Gia. “That’s not age-appropriate!”

Gia is 17. That outfit, which again reveals nothing, is about as age-appropriate as it gets.

(Teresa shared this photo last week, and yes, before you ask, she was also condemned because her daughters are wearing normal bikinis instead of one-pieces … or a nun’s habit)

“Where is the parental control here!!” one irate commenter demanded. Some people panic if they see other humans living their lives harmlessly.

Anothe remarked that it is “scary that these girls are dressed like grown adult women.”

Those girls are really dressed like teenagers. (No shade, but Audriana’s makeup looks exactly like a 9-year-old’s)

“I’m 32 years old,” another commenter whined. “Sorry I think a showing bralette, crop top, and ripped skinny skinny jeans is completely inappropriate for a 17 year old.”

We love that this person thinks that jeans are somehow scandalous because they show Gia’s knees.

Fortunately, not every commenter belongs in a dumpster.

“I think her daughters look pretty and they wear their make up well,” one defender wrote. “They have not went Kardashian yet.”

“I don’t see what the problem is, she looks beautiful,” another says. “I wouldn’t let the negative press ruin your day.”

Teresa is probably accustomed to it. We just hope that her daughters don’t see grown-ass adults shaming their mom for letting them act their ages.

Another defender asks a very good rhetorical question: “What little girl does not like makeup?”

The defenses kept pouring in.

“The girls are adorable,” a commenter writes. “Quit throwing shade! I’m sure the girls love putting make up on each other. That’s what sisters do!”

Another shamed the shamers right back, saying: “Any adult with sense knows not to say negative comments about children.”

There are plenty of truly awful parents who do real harm to their children that will last for a lifetime. Some of those parents are even reality stars.

It’s just a shame that these shamers waste their ire on makeup and a neckline.

Teresa Giudice: My Husband Is Getting Deported & I"m Getting Rich!

Things just keep getting worse for the Giudice clan.

First, Teresa Giudice went to prison and served nearly a full year on tax fraud charges.

After she was released, it was her husband"s turn.

Joe Giudice is currently behind bars, as a judge allowed the Giudices to serve their sentences back-to-back for the sake of their kids.

No word yet on when he"ll be released, but it"s looking more and more like Joe — who is not a US citizen — will never again be a free man on American soil.

And now, it looks as though his wife is getting rich off the situation …

1. Happier Times

The Giudices never seemed like a particularly happy couple, but the past few years have brought them to depths they never could’ve imagined previously.

2. Dark Days

The lengthy prison sentence might be a nightmare come true for Joe, but believe it or not, his situation may soon deteriorate even further.

4. Booted Back to the Boot

Teresa Giudice: I"m Scared Joe Will Get Deported! I Wanna Stay Here!

Things have been better for Teresa Giudice. She served her time in prison. Her husband is now serving his sentence.

Also, The Real Housewives of New Jersey may be facing cancellation … and some say that she’s a big part of what is tanking the brand.

To make matters worse, she’s reportedly terrified that Joe will get out of prison only to be deported. If he is, will she go with him?

Bankruptcy is no fun, but bankruptcy fraud is worse. At least, that’s what our court system says.

They sentenced both Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe Giudice, to prison. For the sake of the children, the court very wisely allowed Teresa to serve her (shorter) sentence first, followed by her husband.

If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime, or so they say. But it turns out that the prison sentences may just be the start of the Giudice family’s troubles.

RadarOnline reports that Teresa Giudice fears that Joe will be sent to Italy, because he’s not actually an American citizen.

“Teresa is terrified Joe will be deported upon his release in less than two years.”

Growing up, many of us always assumed that marrying an American citizen granted automatic citizenship unless the union was found to be fraudulent. The reality is much more complex.

Apparently, any sense of peace that the public has perceived from Teresa has been a facade.

“She’s keeping good attitude in public and good happy face.”

Happy isn’t really the mood that a lot of people associate with the infamous table-flipping Housewife, but … sure.

“But lawyers have told her it’s not an easy task to win because of the felony charge — something he knew when the accepted plea deal.”

Basically, they’re going to have an immigration fight on their hands when he finishes his sentence.

Meanwhile, Joe reportedly has some fears of his own.

“Joe is terrified that she and the kids won’t come with him if he’s deported.”

Anybody else’s first thought: Well why would they?

Teresa’s joked about Italy being beautiful anyway (it really is), but vacationing somewhere is very different from living in a different culture, immersed in another language.

Besides, Teresa might not exactly be motivated to pack up her entire life for Joe.

“Teresa said she still hasn’t forgiven him for this whole mess!”

The fact of the matter is that no relationship lasts forever. You either break up or you die.

And there have been some indicators, including cheating rumors, that suggest that Teresa and Joe’s union won’t end in death.

“Teresa and Joe’s marriage is not as it once was. They’re both changed people.”

That happens over time. Especially when something dramatic, like both serving prison time, happens.

“Both of them have grown so if he must go Teresa doesn’t think she’s going with him. At least not how she feels today.”

Honestly, Teresa has to think of more than just herself.

Together, the couple has four children: Gia, Gabriella, Milania (an awkward name to have these days), and Audriana.

Does she really want her children to live in Italy? Or does she want for them to live their birthright as American citizens?
