Priest Slaps Crying Baby, Internet Flips Its $hit
Well, this is quite disturbing.
We never thought we"d write that about a video that features a priest and a baptism… but here we are.
Footage of a priest slapping – yes, SLAPPING – a crying baby during a baptism has made its way around the Internet, sparking the sort of outrage you"d expect when, it bears repeating…
… there"s footage of a PRIEST SLAPPING A CRYING BABY.
The YouTube video was initially shared on Reddit with a caption that reads what we just wrote: “A priest slaps an infant during his baptism.”
On Reddit, the user wrote: “this happened today in France, I’m really shocked.”
Well, yeah!
Who would not be?!?
In the 43-second video that we"ve shared above, the unnamed priest is shown holding the child’s tear-filled face as the boy sits in a woman’s arms.
We assume this woman is a loved one.
The priest looks like he"s trying to comfort the young kid… until, in the middle of the video, the man of God is shown slapping the child across his cheek.
There"s certainly no other way to interpret what we"re seeing here.
The boy"s parents react to this violent act with stunned expressions, as their son starts to scream even more.
We then see the priest pulling the child closer as a woman, who appears to be a church official, briefly approaches him.
"I saw this video on Facebook and I cried," wrote one Twitter user in response, adding:
"I was filled with anger and sadness. If I was the mother of that baby I wouldn’t hesitate to push or slapped the damn priest back!! I don’t care what he is!!"
At one point, the infant struggles in the priest’s arms, prompting a man nearby to forcibly remove the kid from the priest’s arms.
It"s just weird and wild and disturbing stuff all around.
"This child will be traumatized by [priests] now," wrote another grossed-out social media user.
“This is so scary and sickening, that baby knew that’s the devil in disguise,” another added. “That’s no priest.”

Tonya Harding Blasted for Fake Crying, Diva Attitude on DWTS!
On the most recent episode of Dancing With The Stars, infamous Olympics legend Tonya Harding pulled off the Foxtrot.
Her performance was pretty good, but it wasn’t perfect. And Tonya broke down in tears afterwards.
An insider’s report says that Tonya’s competition think that her tears are fake, and are more than ready for her to go.
RadarOnline reports that Tonya Harding’s fake tears were the last straw for the other dancers.
“Tonya’s tears just did not sit well with the other contestants.”
They were not charmed. And she was apparently already on their last nerve.
“And they are already getting fed up with her theatricals.”
Okay, so “theatricals” is a nonsense word. A person is theatrical. A theatrical person might display theatrics.
“Everyone is saying that she completely faked her crying episode on-screen during the premiere.”
And apparenlty they all know what she’s really like, behind the scenes.
“Because she is not that emotional in real life.”
It was more than just crocodile tears that rubbed them the wrong way.
“She is such a huge drama queen and it seems that she believes she is the star of the show already.”
And the insider says that she believes that for a not-too-bad reason.
“The producers seem to agree.”
They’ve been putting her front and center in their promos.
“Because they are using her imagery for most of the promotion of this current season.”
Weird, consider that Adam Rippon is the huge star from, you know, this century.
But that’s none of our business, we guess.
Apparently, Tonya’s “theatricals” and other antics have people thoroughly exhasperated.
“Everyone is already just so sick of her.”
Perhaps they wouldn’t mind her so much if she were dominating the competition?
But she hasn’t been doing too badly. She hasn’t been sent home, anyway. Yet.
“And the other contestants all agree that they all need to up their game.”
They apparently have one goal in mind — aside from victory.
“And get her eliminated as soon as possible.”
Hey, it’s a competition. This sounds like fair motivation.
We will play devil’s advocate for a moment.
Let us consider, for example, that it is easy for people to hold a negative opinion of Tonya.
She is, of course, implicated in the infamous attack on Nancy Kerrigan.
Honestly, among younger people, many would not even remember her name were it not for that legacy — and the recent I, Tonya film on the subject.
So it is easy to see how people might view Tonya through the filter of their preconceptions.
At the same time … Tonya’s reputation probably didn’t come out of nowhere.
Tonya Harding has been disgraced ever since Nancy Kerrigan’s attack.
She’s had a number of less-than-ideal moments in terms of public relations and optics. She may have been hoping that Dancing With The Stars would be her redemption arc.
But the show itself will thrive on drama.
The drama of her winning or losing will work just as well. And if she’s poorly behaved behind the scenes … that honestly helps drive up interest in the show.
But if Tonya continues to be seen as difficult to work with … she could be looking at the end of her TV career.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8 Episode 13 Recap: Crying Shame
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is at the stage in which it’s running on fumes, and one little shred of drama can be maximized in the edit in order to ramp up the action.
When The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8 Episode 13 kicked off, we were at a dinner party that found all of the women at odds with each other.
A fight was about to break out, and then we were taken five days before the big event. No, this is not How to Get Away with Murder, but the editing certainly made it seem it was.
We quickly found out that Lisa Rinna (Who is still a cast member, by the way!) and Teddi were having a day to themselves. They were indulging in some pedicures.
That’s when Rinna admitted that things with Dorit were finally on the up and that they bonded over champagne flutes. We kid over that last part, but still, they’re friends!
Then Teddi felt like it was her duty to report back about Dorit and PK trashing Lisa three months before at that big dinner party. Yeah, we’re not sure why three-month-old comments were brought back up, but Teddi needs an ally.
Rinna was quick to point out that she was done listening to all of it because she knew they had said it and she was ready to put the past behind her.
Teddi is an accountability coach, so it made sense that she would want Dorit to take responsibility for her actions. However, bringing up drama that happened months ago seemed like a desperate attempt to hog the camera.
Maybe Teddi is trying to be nice, but she has no idea what show this is. Everything is manipulated, and a narrative is created. Unfortunately, her edit is not coming out like an oil painting.
Aside from that, not much else happened away from the big fight that was teased at the opening of the hour.
When we got to that night, Teddi called up Dorit and asked if they could make their way to the event together so that they could chat about their differences.
That did not go well, and Teddi asked Dorit to keep quiet about their fight because she didn’t want another fight to ruin another dinner party.
Dorit was not ready to agree, and we found out the hard way that she was not ready to pull any punches when it came to the ladies being the presence of each other.
Teddi was made to look like the bad one because she brought it all back up. But talking things out is in Teddi’s nature, so it made sense for her to act that way.
That’s when Teddi struck at Erika because she was playing a game.
“You pretending that it’s full amnesia right now is confusing to me,” said Teddi with a grin.
“No, excuse me, don’t ever say I’m pretending, because I’m not pretending,” Erika barked back.
“I’m telling you the truth, I don’t remember saying that. Don’t ever say that to me again, don’t f— with me like that — you don’t want that. Don’t ever, EVER do that to me.”
Yeah, these ladies are now more fractured than ever, but how long will it be before they all makeup and realize they’ve been fighting for an absurd reason?

Courtney Stodden Shares Pictures of Herself Crying, Claims to be "Devastated"
Courtney Stodden has racked up a lot of attention over the years for her revealing clothing, outspoken attitude and her marriage to Doug Hutchison.
Earlier this week, Stodden took to Instagram with a startling image that immediately got fans talking. The reality star looked as though she had been crying for hours on end.

It doesn’t look good, does it?
The 23-year-old captioned the image with the word “Devastated.” She never elaborated on what she meant when her legions of fans expressed their concern for her.
“You’ll make it through, stronger than ever. Bad times are temporary. You’re doing great,” added one.
Another worried fan wrote: “Oh my god are you OK!!! Did someone hurt you? If they did please press charges. If you are feeling sad and blue remember they there are lots of people who love you and look up to you. I think you’re a great person from looking at your posts and you deserve to be happy. If you ever need to talk to a complete strange.”
Some fans looked further into the image, and one concluded that she had a black eye.
“It looks like you’ve got a black eye,” said one concerned fan. “Someone needs to call for help she could be hurting herself!” wrote another.
While some tried to defend Stodden, others were more critical of the fact that she claimed to be “devastated” yet she posted a selfie.
“Devastated? But you’re taking a selfie,” added one Instagram user.
“So devastated that you managed to take a selfie and post it, along with an attention seeking cryptic word. You need to get some help, you have needed it for years. Stop spending so much energy trying to be famous and seek some help,” added another.
All was quiet on the Courtney front until last night when she shared another bizarre picture with her 250,000 followers.
She does not look quite as upset in the latest picture, but it’s clear she was still not happy.
“Tried to hide the sadness. Thanks for all of the love,” she captioned the picture, and it continued to cause concern amongst her fans who were awaiting updates.
Courtney has never been the most stable reality TV star out there. She married Doug back in 2011 when she was just 16 years old. Doug was 34 years her senior when they got married.
If anything, they proved they were a match made in hell and confirmed they were divorcing earlier this year. Aside from that, Courtney does not have much in the way of a parental figure.
Her mother, Krista Keller is not going to win any prizes for mother of the year because there is no mother-daughter relationship. In fact, her mother, at one point claimed to be in an emotional relationship with Doug, so there’s that.
Courtney opened up on The Doctors earlier this year about mixing booze and pills to cope with her troubled lifestyle.
“I just want some normalcy now … and I don’t know if I’m coping in the most healthy way,” she admitted at the time.
“I also have been taking anti-anxiety medication, otherwise I literally feel like I’m going to jump out the window. Sometimes, I have medical marijuana, but that doesn’t really help because I start having a panic attack.”
She’s had a messed up life, and her recent Instagram posts are very worrying.

Anna Faris: I Can"t Stop Crying Over Chris Pratt!
As you surely know by now, Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are no longer together.
You know that because they made that heartbreaking announcement, and also because you’ve probably already gotten an invitation to true love’s funeral.
In that tragic statement, which Chris shared to his Facebook page on Sunday night, he explained that “Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating.”
“We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed.”
About their son, precious little Jack, he wrote “Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward.”
“We still have love for each other,” he concluded, “will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another.”
It hurts just as much as it did the first time, doesn’t it?
It actually hurts a little worse, because it’s been three days now and this whole thing still hasn’t turned out to be a joke — hey, we can’t be the only ones holding out hope for a super belated “April Fools!”
But what happened? What could have torn apart this once solid couple?
We’ve heard that neither Chris nor Anna cheated, and they there hasn’t been any accusations of cheating, either.
A new report from Hollywood Life backs that up, and throws in some extra upsetting details of the split, too!
A source tells the website that “Infidelity was not an issue in the split between Chris and Anna, who are dealing with their separation as amicably as possible.”
“They still talk daily and are on good terms, not vicious, mad or angry at each other like so many high-profile divorces.”
Instead of feuding and high drama and all that mess — looking at you Brangelina — “they are taking a page out of Gwyneth and Chris Martin’s book and are trying to be as good to each other as possible as they begin to move forward with the divorce paperwork.”
“Their main concern continues to be the best parents they can for their son during this challenging time.”
Which is all great. Or, you know, as great as news about Chris Pratt and Anna Faris divorcing can be.
But wait for the kicker …
“Anna has been crying daily since the split,” the source claims, “and is leaning heavily on her family for support during this difficult time.”
Meanwhile, “Chris has turned to some of his closer guy friends, who have been through similar situations, for advice and guidance.”
We’re sure that if they came to the decision to split, it’s what’s best for the family, so hopefully after some time things won’t be quite so very sad.
But right now … this is just really, really rough, huh?

Woman Comforts Crying Child, Proves Not All Airline Passengers Suck
No one likes when a child cries on a plane.
But do you know who hates when a child cries on a plane the most?
The parent holding said child!
Still, for some depressing reason, fellow passengers often give the adults riding with young kids a hard time when these kids get sad.
That"s what happened when a woman named Kesha Bernard was flying from Seattle to Denver and a toddler started wailing.
As documented on Facebook (and below), Bernard was aghast at the reaction of those around her, prior to jumping into helpful action herself…

Christina El Moussa: Crying For Help on Instagram?
Christina El Moussa has been going through a tough time.
As you may already know, the Flip or Flop star is in the midst of a divorce from Tarek El Moussa, he co-host and soon-to-be ex-husband.
To say the marriage didn’t end well would be putting it very mildly.
Sources close to the couple say Tarek caught Christina cheating and a brutal blowout fight ensued.
(It’s unclear how far Christina’s infidelity went, but she was reportedly caught exchanging explicit text messages with Gary Anderson, a contractor and friend of the El Moussas.)
In the altercation that ensued Tarek brandished a gun and threatened to commit suicide.
Now, despite going through some very rocky times Tarek and Christina are jointly playing damage control in hopes of saving their show from cancelation.
Like we said, not an easy time – which may be why fans are concerned by the dour selfie that Christina shared yesterday.
Christina captioned the pic simply, “Thursday vibes” and her use of the butterfly filter leads us to believe she’s not trying to send a message that she’s caught in the throes of a crippling depression, but an outpouring of concern quickly flooded her comments section nonetheless:
“You look a little down in this pic…. ???” wrote one fan.
“Hope your day gets a little brighter!!!” commented another.
“Just stay focused on those beautiful babies and you’ll be smiling in no time!” a third offered.
Some fans kept their observations simple and to the point.
(“U look sad.”)
While others went full marriage counselor:
“It’s not late to FIX your marriage! It wasn’t a flop, it just needs some rehab! Trust me, you two have 2 beautiful reasons to keep trying!!” wrote one fan.
Yes, some fans remain eternally optimistic about Christina’s marriage, with one writing:
“Sad eyes, @christinaelmoussa. I wish for you and family the very best. It will all work out.”
We can’t help but wonder if these people know the whole story.
It’s always sad when a marriage ends, but this is one of those cases where it was definitely for the best.
Once things get bad enough that weapons are involved it’s time for two spouses to separate permanently, especially if they have kids.
Now there’s marriage advice you can take to the bank.
