Taylor Swift Resurfaces on Instagram: Find Out Why!

Taylor Swift has temporarily come out of social media hiding.

The singer has only shared two Instagram posts in the past few weeks, going nearly entirely silent ever since Kim Kardashian posted videos of a phone call between Swift and Kanye West.

The videos, of course, featured a phone conversation between Taylor and Kanye.

It centered on the rapper’s single, “Famous,” most specifically certain lyrics that called Swift out in a number of unflattering ways.

Swift gave her okay to these lyrics, contradicting future claims that she was shocked and offended when Kanye’s song went viral.

Soon after Kim proved she was a liar, Swift posted a message on Instagram that claimed Kimye was trying to assassinate her character, adding that she’d like to be “excluded from this narrative.”

Here’s a look at that emotional, desperate, angry plea:

Since then, Swift has only signed on to wish Selena Gomez a happy 24th birthday.

But now Taylor has gone ahead and surprised followers with a new Instagram post. And it once again comes on the occasion of a good friend’s birthday.

“I LOVE YOU KARLIE! You’re such an exquisite person, always trying to make things better for others,” Swift shared on Instagram, along with a throwback selfie.

“Every day I’m inspired by how giving, loving, and thoughtful you are. Happy 24th Birthday!!!”

Say what you want about Taylor Swift (and people aren’t shy about doing so these days), but she does always seem like a very good friend.

So, how did Swift and Kloss celebrate this occasion?

Not by hanging out together.

“When you’re halfway around the world & your best friend still finds a way to celebrate 24 with you @taylorswift13,” Kloss Tweeted yesterday morning.

She then posted a photo of Swift on FaceTime, including with it a gorgeous vase of sunflowers that were put on display next to the screen.

“If you have one person in your life that you connect with then you’re lucky,” Karlie once told Elle U.K., speaking of the famous Taylor Swift Squad and adding:

“If you have a group of friends that you have that connection with then you’re especially lucky and if you have people in your family you have that connection with then you’ve really won the game.”

Let’s hope that Squad is there for Taylor at the moment.

She could use some real friends.

Kris Jenner Injured in Car Crash: Is She Okay?!?

Kris Jenner has been involved in a serious car accident.

According to TMZ, which broke the story, Jenner was driving her white Rolls-Royce on the 101 Freeway on Wednesday afternoon when she collided with a Prius.

The force of the impact was so strong that it deployed Jenner’s airbag and destroyed the front end of her expensive vehicle.

An insider close to the Kardashians tells TMZ that the Prius ran a red light, although law enforcement officials have not revealed the cause of the accident just yet.

One source supposedly in the know tells the site, however, that Kris was driving on a surface street when the Prius cut in front of her, attempting to get onto the 101.

This is what created the collision.

Jenner, who bought the Rolls Royce just a week ago, was treated on the scene by paramedics.

She may have suffered a broken wrist.

Elsewhere, E! News reports that Jenner got “hurt” and is “shook up” as the result of the crash.

We can’t blame her. It sounds like it was pretty scary.

The only family member thus far who has commented on the situation is Kylie Jenner, who Tweeted a response to to a concerned fan who asked about the ordeal.

“I was not involved in the accident. Everything’s okay,” Kylie wrote.

In February of 2015, Kris’ famous ex-husband, Bruce Jenner (now Caitlyn, of course), was also involved a very serious car crash.

It actually left one woman dead and seven injured.

We often make a lot of fun of Kris Jenner because… well, she deserves it. She typically seems more concerned with her bank account than with her children’s well-being.

But we certainly never wish any kind of physical harm on any of the Kardashians or Jenners.

We hope Kris recovers fully and recovers quickly.

Jon Gosselin: Not On Speaking Terms With Twins Maddie and Cara

Someone send Jon Gosselin on an Eat Pray Love retreat.

The former TLC star and unofficial Ed Hardy model hasn’t been in the best place since his 2008 divorce from Kate Gosselin.

A month ago, one could have said that Jon was doing pretty well as an employee with his local T.G.I Friday’s.  Alas, TMZ ruined everything by outing him, a move that made Jon so furious that he quit.

To make matters worse, Jon donated his weekly check to charity (this was confirmed by the restaurant manager).

Jon is allowed to feel a little bitter.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jon revealed what his life is like these days as a single dad. He doesn’t see his kids much, which might affect him more than he lets on.

“Everybody used to come to my house,” Jon said of his eight kids – twins Maddie, Cara, and sextuplets Alexis, Hanna, Leah, Joel, Aaden and Colin.

“You know, it was great, and then Madelyn and Cara just stopped coming, around 12-13 [years old]. I didn’t question it. I was just like, ‘Hey, do what you want, be with your friends’ and then it just became they’re not coming.”

The number of Gosselin visitors then dwindled to six.

“I was just focusing on the ones that did come and then a couple years went by and then Collin stopped coming. I thought, maybe he just wants to do stuff with Mommy or whatever, and then it became long term.”

In fact, Colin and his dad haven’t seen each other in two years.  

The last time Jon saw all eight children at once was three or four years ago.

Jon told ET that he hasn’t seen all eight of his children in one place in three or four years.   

“The kids that I do get are Hannah, Leah, Joel and Aaden. I guess the four have stuck together and said, ‘We’re going to Daddy’s and that’s it.’ And maybe they’ll raise a stink about it or something like that.

“Sometimes I get Alexis but not often.”

As for his first-born daughters, Jon admitted that they’re not on speaking terms right now.

The fractured relationship Jon has with many of his children may stem from the non-existent one he has with Kate.

“I don’t really talk to my ex-wife, so it’s all kind of Helter Skelter,” Jon said.

“I have my life and she has her life. We have our life with our kids separately. We don’t go anywhere together.”

Jon decided to leave reality TV to work odd jobs in between his DJ gigs.

You know, I kind of walked away from everything so that my kids can have a life,” he said. “So that they would be taken care of, in their house, and things wouldn’t change, because I knew I could survive.”

On July 26th, Jon issued a threat to the media via Twitter about protecting his family’s privacy.

“In the future, don’t tag me in posts with my ex,” he tweeted.

“It’s uncalled for and causes drama. Please respect our children’s privacy as well, thank u.”
