Jeremy Lin: Americans Underestimate Asian Men

Teddi Jo Mellencamp Joins The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!
Change-ups for any show, scripted or reality, can be a big deal — though Real Housewives of various locales tend to have a few people come and go to keep things fresh.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is losing Eileen Davidson, a beloved castmember, but they’re gaining a new one — whose “quirks” are already more than apparent. This should be interesting.
She’s no Eileen Davidson, but that’s not a fair standard.
Eileen Davidson is leaving The Real Housewives of Bevery Hills because she’s on The Young and the Restless and also on Days of Our Lives.
Since filming schedules are bonkers for shows that air every day of the week, it’s hard to bee on three shows at once.
We guess that she just decided to drop the unscripted drama and stick to scripts.
(We’d have probably done the same, honestly)
Joining the cast of some of the most extra women on the West Coast sounds a little daunting, but they’ve already found the girl for the job.
E! reports that Teddi Jo Mellencamp.is joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for season 8
Yes, she’s the daughter of music legend John Mellencamp.
(And not in any way related to the mutant named Mellencamp from X-Men comics, we’re sorry to say)
It’s not yet clear whether she’s going to be a full-time housewife or if she’ll just be popping in, but we’re sure that we’ll all find out.
Since she’s been cleared to be on the show, we’re guessing that she’s less out-of-control than John Mellencamp’s sons who were charged for an alleged beatdown several years back.
But we do know a couple of things about Teddi already.
Teddi and her husband, Edwin Arroyave, seem to be into fitness.
Especially Teddi.
Her Instagram is all about working out.
She loves to sweat, apparently, even though sweating is one of the most disgusting feelings that a human can experience.
Most of us try to ignore it when it happens but she just … seeks it out, for reasons that we can’t explain.
That photo of her with her husband?
They snapped that selfie while running on the beach early on Saturday morning.
It’s never too early or too weekend to suffer, apparently.
And then there’s this pensive photo of Teddi:
Her captions were just her lamenting that she couldn’t find a 6am fitness class on Saturdays.
(Excuse me while I go snap some selfies while complaining that there aren’t any scorpions that crawl on my face while I sleep)
Aside from taking a reasonable activity like exercise and pushing it to the extreme of an obsession that might literally be unhealthy, Teddi seems like she has the potential to really work out as a castmember.
She has two children and a stepchild, though we don’t expect to see much of her kids on the show.
Though cameramen might have to get on segways and follow her, because it’s hard to imagine her sitting still for very long.
(Sorry — she seems great, but when you’re a fitness nut it can come across a little nuts)
Shake-ups are always uncertain, and Bravo hasn’t yet actually commented on Teddi’s involvement with the show.
Whenever they’re ready to spill all of the details is when we’ll know more.
Teddi’s famous dad could work for and against her with some of the housewives on the show, so we’ll keep an eye on that.
We just can’t imagine that she could deliver lines like “Beast?! How dare you?!” with Eileen Davidson’s dramatic perfection.
Alas.
Simon Saran: I"m Done With Farrah Abraham & I"m Quitting Teen Mom!
Farrah Abraham and Simon Saran easily rank right up there with the most dysfunctional couples in the history of the Teen Mom franchise, which is really saying something.
Simon has assumed a weird role as a sort of resident agitator, picking fights with Amber Portwood, Matt Baier, and other cast members, seemingly just for the fun of it.
We always assumed he just gets off on bringing misery into the lives of others, but it could be that it was all part of Simon’s strategy to remain relevant after his ill-fated relationship came to a close.
Yes, after years of on and off drama, it looks as though Farrah and Simon are broken up for good.
The last time they split was in March, but they’ve been spotted together in public multiple times since.
Now, however, it looks like Farrah and Simon’s claims that their just friends are actually legit.
For one thing, Farrah is starring on a reality show called Single AF, which is a pretty good indication that she’s single af.
On top of that, it looks as though Simon has found someone new.
We don’t know her name yet, but the mystery woman is all over Simon’s social media pages.
Tellingly, many fans have jumped to the conclusion that Simon is in a new relationship, and he hasn’t corrected them.
The news comes as something of a surprise, as just last month, fans were buzzing about rumors that Farrah and Simon were engaged.
The former couple went on a romantic vacation to Jamaica together, and Farrah dropped hints about a proposal on Instagram.
So whatever happened between these two that led them to call it quits, it’s safe to assume it happened in the past few weeks.
And that’s not the only recent development in the exciting life of Mr. Saran.
In a recent tweet, the reality star confirmed that he’ll be the subject of an umpcoming Teen Mom special entitled Being Simon – and revealed that that will be the final time he’ll appear on television.
“It will be the last time you see me on screen so make sure you watch it!” Saran tweeted.
Something tells us fans won’t be terribly sad to see him go.
