The Little Couple: Returning to TLC! With a Major Change!

The Little Couple has a very big announcement to make.

Actually, The Little Couple has TWO very big announcements to make.

First, the TLC series is heading back to the air (following a legal dispute we’ll delve into below), with stars Dr. Jen Arnold and Bill Klein announcing new episodes of their family’s program will premiere on September 19.

Second, they will not emanate from Houston.

The father, mother and their pair of adopted children are off to Florida!

The family had been residing in Houston for years because Jen was serving as the medical director of the Simulation Center at Texas Children’s Hospital and the Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology at Baylor College of Medicine.

But she’s now accepted a new position in real life, which will affect the basis and storylines for the show in semi-real life.

Arnold is now working at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in in St. Petersburg – and it doesn’t appear as if six-year old son Will or five-year old daughter Zoey have a problem living near the beach:

Filming on a new season of The Little Couple had been on hold due to disputes between the network’s parent company, Discovery, and the show’s production company, LMNO.

Back in June of 2016, LMNO filed a $ 7 million breach-of-contract and copyright infringement lawsuit against Discovery.

The company accused the network giant at the time of conspiring with a “criminal extortionist” in order to edge LMNO out of six of its programs, including The Little Couple.

But all legal issues have apparently been ironed out and TLC viewers will have a chance this fall to once again follow the lives of this unique family.

“I’m thrilled to return home to Florida,” Arnold said in a press release from her new hospital, adding:

““The opportunity at Johns Hopkins All Children’s is a perfect fit personally for me, my husband, and two kids and professionally with the growing education and research resources at the hospital.”

Based on a sneak peek of the new season shared by People Magazine this week, it appears as if the family will take its first international trip together to the United Kingdom.

The parents and two kids will also visit Vermont, while Jen and Bill will deal with day-to-day activities for their children such as swim lessons, karate and speech therapy.

“They’ve both become more independent,” Jen says of her toddlers in this same preview. “It’s definitely hard being a parent, but that’s expected.”

The Little Couple is one of multiple shows TLC airs that focuses on smaller-than-average human beings.

We previously confirmed that 7 Little Johnstons would return later this year for season 3, while Little People, Big World has never been more popular.

Here is a rundown of the official The Little Couple announcement, per the show’s official TLC website:

This is not a drill! The Little Couple is returning to TLC this fall, and our hearts could not be more full!

That’s right.

You’re reuniting with the fan-favorite family Tuesday, September 19th at 9/8c.

Last time we checked in with Dr. Jen Arnold and Bill Klein, the couple was continuing to navigate life following two international adoptions, Bill’s back surgery, and Jen’s battle with cancer.

This season, the family brings us along for some exciting travels from Washington D.C. all the way to London!

Along the way there are also some major milestones, including birthdays, new businesses, and a decision about Jen’s career that will affect the entire family.

Out of the blue, Jen is offered a job in St. Petersburg, Florida with Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. While Jen and Bill are excited about the prospect of living in Florida, they worry about how the kids will handle moving.

The adorable Will and Zoey are older and more independent, and while that means a whole new set of challenges for the parents, this family is only growing closer and stronger!

WILL YOU BE TUNING IN TO THE NEW SEASON?

Kate Plus 8 Recap: Yes, It"s Actually Still on TV Somehow!

Last night on TLC, Kate Plus 8 returned as the Gosselins celebrated Halloween and strived to throw the best party in the neighborhood.

In other news, Kate Plus 8 is STILL on the air!

So what did we learn on Kate Plus 8 Season 6 Episode 1?

Well, we learned that the family is closer together.

That’s a good thing when you consider how far apart they seemed on Season 5. Working on their relationships is a good thing for any family.

The kids, being a lot older nowadays and aware of such things, have even been quizzing Kate about why she is still single.

No questions about Jon Gosselin’s career as a stripper … on air, at least. (They have to be at least vaguely aware of that, right?)

To reward the kids for being awesome, Kate wanted to make them a Haunted House for Halloween, but as is always the case, nothing ever goes to plan.

When Kate opened up about her ambitious Halloween plans, the kids seemed scared but mostly happy about the idea.

They wanted the Haunted House to exist, but they were considerably less enthusiastic about helping out to get it ready.

If you watch Kate Plus 8 online, you may recall that the Gosselin matriarch has a barn that is in need of a good clean.

This was her planned location for the Haunted House, so she needed assistance in getting it ready a lot of assistance.

Kate asked the children if they would like to help her, but they all conveniently chose to do their homework for school.

Yes, they are smart children.

Kate was not taking no for an answer, though, and the kids capitulated. When that was all over, she realized she was running out of time.

Fortunately, she turned to her best friend Jamie, who was ecstatic at the opportunity of helping the Gosselins out with the party planning.

At times, it became too much, but that’s what happens when everything is left until the last minute, especially with lofty goals like this.

On the day of the event, tensions were high.

A bird legit tried to fly into the cake. Kate looked like she was ready to explode, and it did not help matters that the guests arrived early.

Still, ultimately the event was a success.

One of the more comical moments found the oldest teen finding a rat in the Haunted House, and it was real. Spooky stuff right there!

At the end of the party, everyone relaxed by the bonfire, a good bonding experience for everyone at the end of a stressful day.

What will Kate and the gang find themselves up to next week? Does the TLC series really have enough storylines for a full season?

We have our doubts, but we said that a couple of years ago and here we are, so we’ve learned to never discount Kate. Ever.

What did you think of the premiere?

Blac Chyna to Ferrari: You Want a Legal Piece of Me, Too?!?

Blac Chyna is using the full power of the law to protect her boobs, butt and other very private parts.

On Monday, the reality star was granted a temporary restraining order against Rob Kardashian, days after her ex-fiance went on an Instagram rant that including the public sharing of very NSFW photos.

There’s no longer a legal grey area.

For the time being, it is illegal for Kardashian to post naked photos of his former flame.

Similarly, Chyna is now sending the same potential message to Ferrari.

The previously-unheard-of rapper has seemingly been sleeping with Chyna for a few weeks.

He’s the man kissing her in the video below, which Chyna sent as a taunt to Kardashian on July Fourth and which ignited Rob’s wrath and spurned on his explicit social media diatribe.

As part of his viral attack against Chyna, Rob slammed his ex as a promiscuous drug user, but he also claimed to include text messages he received from Ferrari.

Some were asking Rob for money, others were implying that Ferrari wanted to actually work with Rob in some capacity to profit off their shared banging of Blac Chyna.

The day after Kardashian slammed Chyna and got this whole mess underway, Ferrari actually shared a couple lewd photos of Chyna himself.

They featured the artist and the mother of two in bed, likely following some sex, and clearly serving a as a form of trash talk.

Did Chyna approve of these pictures? Or did Ferrari send them behind her back and possibly break California’s revenge porn law himself as well?

We don’t have the answers to those questions at the moment.

However, lawyer Lisa Bloom has sent Ferrari a letter (obtained by TMZ)  that warns him NOT to sell or post any more nude Blac Chyna images.

Otherwise, he may face a lawsuit.

Or a prison sentence.

“Posting online or distributing photos of Ms. White’s intimate body parts is a crime punishable by fines and jail time,” Bloom writes in the document.

Insiders say that Ferrari removed himself from the Blac Chyna narrative late last week.

He returned a bunch of jewelry he had purchased for his fling and no longer has any interest in making love to her, considering all the drama that has ensued ever since they knocked boots.

Chyna, meanwhile, held a brief conference on Monday that said she was grateful a judge granted her the aforementioned restraining order against Rob.

She is allegedly frightened of her second baby daddy and even fearful that Kardashian may use his gun to harm himself or others.

But this doesn’t mean she wishes to punish him where it hurts most; i.e. when it comes to custody of his daughter, Dream.

“I would never try to take Dream from her dad,” Chyna said on Good Morning America. “Hopefully, me and Rob can learn to have common ground and be the best co-parents as we can be.”

That’s a pretty impressive and mature stance for Chyna to take when you think about all Rob said about her last week.

For the sake of their precious loved one, we really hope Chyna sticks to it and we really hope Kardashian grows the heck up.

The Bachelorette Recap: Who Earned Hometown Dates?!

As The Bachelorette spoilers (or any Bachelor Nation member) could’ve told you, the final episode before hometowns did not lack for drama.

With Rachel Lindsay’s half dozen remaining suitors leaving it all on the table, there were plenty of intense conversations and hard choices.

The million-dollar question heading into Monday:

Would the final four as predicted by Bachelorette spoilers all season long hold true? Or would an unexpected contender pull an upset?

Certainly, three of the six guys left had an edge.

Rachel announced at the onset that there would be three one-on-one dates and one three-on-one, clearly raising the stakes for each.

Obviously, if you’re going on that three-on-one, you’re in the lower tier, which is undesirable. Bryan Abasolo did not end up there, clearly.

He and Rachel enjoyed a luxurious date in Geneva, Switzerland, buying expensive things and making out. Life could be a lot worse.

Later, Bryan said that the last time he brought a girl home, the romance ended soon after, but he promised his family would love Rachel.

“I was on cloud nine after my last date with you, and I’m going higher,” Rachel said, giving him a rose. “I have to come and meet your family.”

Dean Unglert’s date after that was … awkward by comparison, as they went to a Catholic mass conducted in French which they don’t speak.

Moreover, he was just nervous and generally off, unable to open up about feelings or even make small talk for whatever reason.

Perhaps his youth was showing at last.

Dean, 25, later admitted a lot of “internal conflict” about getting a hometown date, as he feels like the “black sheep” of this group.

His family, he said, is less than perfect.

Every family is, but after Rachel called out his weird behavior, he opened up about it finally, saying his mother died a decade ago.

As for his father, “he is not a person that has any bearing on my emotional experience … my concern is that you would judge my family.”

Not judging them on their own merit, he meant, but using that first impression to determine “what our potential family could be.”

Rachel assured him she would not, He got the rose.

Peter Kraus received the final one-on-one date, and rose, soon after that. Unlike Dean, he talks about his feelings quite freely.

One of the early favorites, he told Rachel that the process had been hard for him, knowing she was also dating the other guys.

Kraus admitted he’d never been with a black girl before, but told Rachel that his parents would be supportive of anyone he fell for.

He also said, in a bit of a jarring admission, that if he got to the end and proposing didn’t feel like the right thing, he wouldn’t do it.

Of course this gave her pause, how can it not, but at the end of the day, it’s honest and refreshing that he would be so true to himself.

On to hometowns for Peter!

Finally, it was the dreaded three-on-one between Adam, Eric and Matt, all of whom knew the odds weren’t good and they had to go all in.

Matt was the first to go, though not for lack of trying. Rachel said through tears that other relationships had progressed faster than theirs.

Adam felt he was a lock to win this three-on-one, and Rachel conceded that he was a guy who cherished every “single second” together.

That wasn’t enough.

She sent him packing too, ultimately choosing Eric, which Adam felt was a huge mistake on her part. Clearly she doesn’t agree.

Eric Bigger spoke about his tough upbringing and how he is motivated to help others because no one ever helped him in life.

He has also never brought a girl home, because he was never shown love and it’s all new to him to feel what he’s feeling now.

Until next week!
