Bummer!
On Wednesday, it was revealed that Glenn Close has joined the long list of celebrities who’ve called it quits on their marriages this summer.
The Fatal Attraction actress’ rep confirmed that Glenn has quietly divorced from her third husband David Shaw after nine years of marriage. How sad!

An insider noted:
“Glenn and David have been telling friends over the summer they are divorcing, and he’ll remain living in Maine while Glenn moves back to New York full-time. They’ve been separated for some time, and things are amicable between them.”
Well that’s good to hear!
Previously, the Oscar nominee was married to James Marlas and Cabot Wade. In fact, she has a daughter, Annie, with her former flame John Starke.
Maybe all the A-listers who’ve split from their significant others should start a “divorced persons” club?? Just a thought! LOLz!
Though, we have a feeling Miz Close is going to be just fine.
In a previous interview, she explained:
“Too many women define themselves in terms of a man. I think of men and women as two different species. Katharine Hepburn said they should live next door and visit each other once in a while. Not a bad idea.”
Girl power!
Life appears to be moving on for the 68-year-old as it was confirmed earlier this week that she would be staring in the revival of the stage musical version of Sunset Boulevard in London. FIERCE!
Nonetheless, our thoughts are with Glenn and her ex during this trying time!
