Angela Raiola Dies; Mob Wives" "Big Ang" Was 55

Angela ”Big Ang” Raiola has died after a battle with Stage 4 cancer, according to reports. The Mob Wives star was just 55 years old.

Ang was surrounded by close family members early this morning at a New York City hospital when the VH1 reality star passed away.

Raiola was first diagnosed with throat cancer in April when doctors discovered a tumor in her throat and it was removed shortly after.

Unfortunately, Ang learned that her cancer had returned in December and spread to her brain and lungs, leaving her prognosis grim.

Her rep released a statement saying Ang passed at 3:01 a.m.

Hours earlier, Ang’s team denied false reports that she died Wednesday evening, though this time her camp confirms the tragic truth.

Ang’s fans from her tenure on Mob Wives, the rep made a point of saying, “were some of the most special people in her world.”

Raiola “loved you immensely. Thank you for your love, prayers, and unconditional support of Angela right to the very end.”

Raiola is survived by her two kids, Raquel and Anthony, and six grandkids. Our thoughts are with them during this difficult time.
