Sister Wives: Facing Cancellation! Robyn Threatens To Leave Kody!

Kody Brown has outdone himself.

Not only is he reportedly searching for two new wives to add to his family, but he’s also said to be low on finances.

Naturally, this sort of thing happens when you have four wives and eighteen children.

Former family friend Kendra Pollard-Parra told Life & Style that as soon as Sister Wives season finale aired in June, Brown was on the hunt.

This infuriates his legal wife, Robyn, with whom he has two children.

Brown’s other “spiritual” wives, Christine, Meri and Janelle, are past the point of caring, and two have allegedly already started dating.

“If he takes on new wives, she said she’ll leave,” Pollard told the tabloid. “This isn’t what she signed up for.”

It’s believed that Brown is so desperate to keep making money following the success of the TLC series.

However, the show does not have a premiere date for season eight, which has fans thinking that if the show ends, so will Brown’s marriages.

“It’s unfortunate, but I can guarantee you that you’re going to see wives leave,” Pollard-Parra said.

“Kody’s life is flipping upside down.”

Back in April, Pollard-Parra claimed that Brown approached her to become his fifth wife.

“The first time he met me he said, ‘You’re so pretty. I’m looking for another wife!’ Robyn was laughing, but I was like, ‘Eww!’” she told Life & Style.

Pollard-Parra believes that Brown will swap out one of his spiritual ball-and-chains for a newbie.

“He’ll most likely drop one of the other wives,” she claimed.

This, combined with the show’s popularity and Meri’s catfish scandal have created a rift between everyone.

“It’s worse than ever. The family is arguing constantly,” Pollard-Parra said.

“They pretend to be happy for the show, but the family is a mess.”

Brown doesn’t seem to care that his wives are unhappy.

“Kody’s main goal is to keep the series going and to make money. He’s a snake,” Pollard-Parra added.

And perhaps to keep ratings up, Brown’s hunt for a pretty young thing is worse than ever.

He’s “definitely seeking another wife right now,” Pollard-Parra revealed.

“He wants a younger female, basically what Robyn used to be.”

Big Ang: Late Mob Wives Star Honored With Controversial Dance Party

Back in February, popular Mob Wives star Angela “Big Ang” Raiola passed away after struggling with stage four cancer that had spread to several vital organs.

Last month, we reported on her husband Neil Murphy’s controversial plan to honor Raiola with a memorial concert and dance party at her favorite club in Staten Island.

Why would such a tribute meet with any sort of opposition?

Well, for starters, Raiola and Murphy were estranged in the months leading up to his death.

Accounts concur that Ang forgave Neil on her deathbed, but even so, many of the raspy-voiced reality star’s family and friends believe that Murphy’s main concern these days isn’t honoring Ang’s life, but cashing in on her death.

Raiola’s sister, Janine Detore, has publicly accused Murphy of organizing the party as a way of using Ang’s death as a way to line his own pockets.

“Don’t you think it’s odd though that a lawyer and estranged husband is doing this?” she asked in a recent interview.

But despite Detore’s objection the Big Ang Big Dance Party went off without a hitch last night.

“We had a beautiful night and phenomenal lineup of talent,” Angela’s attorney Stephen Spinelli told E! News after the charity event.

“All of the talent donated their acts and services to the show. You couldn’t ask for a better lineup.”

Spinelli adds that stars from Jersey Shore and Orange is the New Black showed up to raise a glass to one of the more iconic reality stars of recent years.

“[Her husband] Neil was very happy to see the turnout and see how many people loved his wife,” Spinelli said.

“All in all, I would categorize it as an upbeat, happy event because that’s what Neil wanted. He was sure that is what Angela wanted. If you knew Angela, she would have said enjoy yourself and get over it.”

Friends and family shared stories about Ang and reminded the crowd of her favorite expression:

“I’m not here for a long time, I’m here for a good time.”

“I can’t tell you how rewarding it was when her best friends said Angela would have loved this. This is exactly what she would have wanted,” Spinelli said.

“This is what Angela’s life was all about.”

Kody Brown: On the Market for TWO New Wives!

We appear to have written too soon a few weeks ago.

Unlike previously reported, Kody Brown is NOT on the lookout for a fifth wife. That would be crazy, right?

Instead, he’s on the lookout for a fifth wife AND a sixth wife!

If a new tabloid cover story is to be believed for some reason.

According to Life & Style sources (which we can only assume are a pair of bunnies in the office), Brown has actually kicked out Robyn Brown, Meri Brown, Janelle Brown and Christine.

He appears to be restarting his entire brood, which may not come as a huge shock to those who watch Sister Wives online or on television each week.

That Meri Brown catfishing scandal really does seem to have had a major impact on Kody and his family.

There’s so much drama every Sunday night on TLC with this family, you’d almost think it was scripted by producers or something.

The latest cover story claims that the wives are “disgusted with each other” and can’t “fake it anymore.”

It comes on the heels of the same tabloid claiming that all four better halves walked out on Kody earlier this year:

And THAT story comes on the heels of Life & Style also writing that Brown was dumped by three of his wives prior to tying the knot for a fourth time last year.

See what we mean here:

Does Brown have two women in mind to become his new brides?

Perhaps.

The magazine previously wrote that Brown has “set his sights” on Mindy Jessop, a cute blonde who works as the nanny of his youngest son Solomon.

She also happens to be the step-niece of Brown’s fourth/most recent spouse Robyn. It’s all very confusing. And sort of gross.

“The problem is when Kody gets tired of you, he’s done,” a source has said of Brown’s lifestyle. “He just kind of moves onto the next thing.”

That is a problem with Kody, it’s true.

Another problem with Kody is his whole propensity to marry multiple wives thing.

But we’re guessing TLC executives aren’t complaining about that.

Kody Brown: I"m Totes Gonna Have Five Sister Wives!

Sister Wives star Kody Brown recently dropped a bombshell on his big polygamous, reality TV crew – he is so on the market for bride #5!

Embroiled in turmoil since wife #1 Meri Brown’s catfishing scandal, the famous family has been left reeling and searching for answers.

Or in Kody’s case, more wives.

Yes, instead of digging in and getting down to business fixing problems within his already-huge family, he has his eye on a new prize.

Oh, and it gets crazier still:

Brown has “set his sights” on Mindy Jessop, a pretty blonde who works as the nanny of his youngest son Solomon, Life & Style reports.

So yeah, Kody totally wants to bang Mindy the nanny … who also happens to be the step-niece of Brown’s fourth/newest spouse Robyn.

Ironic, since Kody is only banging Robyn, leaving the others jealous. Guess she’s about to see how the other half (three-quarters?) lives.

Robyn “can’t believe he would betray her like that,” a source told the magazine, adding that needless to say, the other wives are pissed too.

Brown’s brazen decision reportedly caused them to walk out when broke the news … but are the Sister Wives leaving Kody for good?

“The fight over wife number five got so bad and the four wives were so disgusted by the idea they just left,” another insider revealed.

So why do it if you’re the Kode-Man?

A couple of reasons, apparently:

  1. Ratings

  2. Boning

Makes sense if you think about it.

“He’s doing whatever it takes to save the show,” a family friend says. “He wants a younger female with a hot little body, which Robyn was.”

“At first. Now she believes, ‘Oh maybe I am replaceable. Maybe I have gained some weight.’ She’s refusing to do this anymore.”

“She can’t believe this.”

No? Kody’s deception (if you can call it that), or pursuit of new wives isn’t really news to his other wives, who felt the same about Robyn.

“The problem is when Kody gets tired of you, he’s done,” the source said of Brown’s lifestyle. “He just kind of moves onto the next thing.”

Just kind of.

Sister Wives Season 7 Episode 9 Recap: The Vacation Erupts

On Sister Wives Season 7 Episode 9, the Browns’ big Hawaiian vacationed turned out to be MUCH more stressful than anyone anticipated.

Who are we kidding, obviously it would be stressful.

Appropriately titled “Hawaiian Vacation Erupts,” Sister Wives Season 7 Episode 9 saw all kinds of ISH hit the fan with Kody and kompany.

Fights over parking cars, where to put the beach umbrella, and so on down the line clearly represented much bigger problems overall.

Isn’t that typically how it works on vacay?

Somewhat ironically, yet entirely logically, the Browns hadn’t stayed together in one house or under the same roof in a long ass time.

Hey, when dad has four wives to live with, by definition he’s not around all that much, no matter of he’s the head of the family or not.

Nevertheless, Kody Brown wanted all to acknowledge that he is in charge here, no matter what – he’s leading the family and that’s that.

Well, except for Maddie Brown planning her wedding. She was basically in charge of that and Kody was his usual apathetic self really.

Heck, when Madison told her father that she and Caleb wanted him to marry them, he basically said okay, he’d do it. Nothing emotional.

Not surprisingly, she was a little let down.

Meanwhile, Kody and Meri attempted to figure out where their romance went wrong, and whether they could get back on the right path.

Can they? Did they get anywhere?

Mykelti Brown: Sister Wives Star ENGAGED to Antonio Padron!

Sister Wives star Mykelti Brown shared some exciting news: she’s engaged!

And from what we gather, there will be no other wives.

Mykelti, daughter of polygamist Kody Brown and sister wife Christine, announced she is set to tie the knot with her boyfriend of nine months, Antonio “Tony” Padron.

“Tony completes me in every way,” the bride-to-be tells Us Weekly. “He is an incredible man and together, I believe we are perfect.”

“I feel as if I’ve completed a puzzle with her and added superglue to keep it together forever!” added the future groom.

Padron says he asked for Kody’s permission before popping the question, and admits he was nervous.

“Kody is a man of large stature,” Padron, who works in banking, explained.

But after spending time with the family over the months, he worked up the courage and says his future father-in-law was “overjoyed.”

However, mom Christine wasn’t sold so quickly.

“I didn’t know they were that serious. I thought that this was her play time,” the mom of six says in a Sister Wives clip shared with Us.

Yesterday, we shared a report that Christine and her three fellow sister wives were walking out on Kody, because who the hell wouldn’t?

Then again, we couldn’t figure out why they’d be there in the first place. Brainwashing? Low self-esteem? Oxycodon?

Perhaps Christine just wants to make sure her 20-year-old daughter is making the right choice.

Padron proposed during a hike in their homeland of Utah, and he pulled out the ring at a rest spot near a waterfall.

“Tony got down on one knee and recited a poem he had written for me while opening a ring box,” Mykelti reveals. “It was such a beautiful ring. I said ‘yes’ with all my heart and I meant it!”

Mykelti is following in the footsteps of her half-sister Maddie Brown, who earlier this month married Caleb Brush.

Congrats to all!

Sister Wives Stunner: Who Left Kody?!?

Sister Wives may be running into a pretty major problem.

And that problem is this: there may be no more Sister Wives!

According to the latest issue of Life & Style (WARNING: never trust any sentence that starts with those words), Kody Brown has selected his new wife.

She will be the fifth one in his controversial brood and this isn’t the first time we’ve heard Brown was planning to marry again.

But while the name of the next woman to bear Kody’s kids has not yet been released, the tabloid claims this reality star’s first quartet of wives are releasing their wrath on their shared husband.

Big time.

The FOUR WIVES WALK OUT is the headline that is plastered across the above cover, with editors also alleging none of the women can “stand each other.”

Those who watch Sister Wives online likely feel duped if this is the case because there are always a few disagreements on this TLC series, but nothing too out of the ordinary.

With the exception that four women are married to the same man, that us.

The cover also teases an “ultimate betrayal” and how Robyn and Kody recently engaged in a “final blowup.”

Consider us intrigued, but also skeptical.

It will be difficult for the series to ever top Meri Brown’s catfishing scandal.

It will also be difficult for us to comprehend what one woman sees in Kody Brown, let alone FOUR women.

Or five, if this story is to be believed.

Sister Wives airs Sunday nights at 8/7c on TLC. It’s a very weird show.

Sister Wives Season 7 Episode 7 Recap: Can Meri Make Amends?

On Sister Wives Season 7 Episode 7, the Brown family prepared for a trip to Hawaii. With that many people, you can imagine the challenges.

Meanwhile, Meri Brown sought to make amends.

Ariella Mae, the latest addition to the Brown Family, was a mere two and a half months at the time of the Browns’ big Hawaii adventure.

Is she a bit too young to be traveling? Perhaps, but that’s just how the Browns roll – particularly when the network is footing the airfare.

Later, Kody was called out regarding the distinctive relationships he has with his sons and daughters, which his wives have mentioned.

Does he treat his daughters very differently than he treats his sons, and is it to the detriment of either? Kody had to answer that one.

While he is far from perfect – and his living situation is one that none of us can relate to – Kody really does seem like he tries to adapt.

Once he heard criticism about not taking his relationships with his girls to the peak level, he really thought about it and wanted to do better.

As for his relationships with his wives, and treating all of them equally (not only banging Robyn), that’s perhaps even more challenging.

Especially with Kody in search of a fifth wife, it’s a complicated situation that promises to become more and more so as time passes.

Meanwhile, Meri and Janelle clashed in therapy, with the former not exactly what you’d call optimistic about two women bonding on vacay.

“I have no idea what we could do in Hawaii,” Meri says. “Maybe we could go to the beach and build a sand castle together. I don’t know.”

For those unaware, Meri’s feud with Janelle predates the whole Sister Wives catfish scandal (though that did not help), and by a lot.

Janelle left her husband to be with Kody and join the family, which would be eyebrow-raising on its own, but the man is Meri’s brother.

As Janelle wrote in Becoming Sister Wives: The Story of an Unconventional Marriage: “Meri and I went from cordial to frosty overnight.”

“We snipped at each other over the smallest things.”

Has much changed? Will it ever? Stay tuned.

Later, on Sister Wives Season 7 Episode 8, we got a behind the scenes look at Kody Brown, the man, the myth, the polygamous legend.

Follow the link to watch Sister Wives online and see the action – or mass cringing, depending on your view – transpire from start to finish.

Maddie Brown: Sister Wives Star Marries Caleb Brush!

After a six-month engagement, Sister Wives star Maddie Brown married Caleb Brush over the weekend.

Maddie"s dad, Kody Brown, officiated the wedding, which took place in Bozeman, Montana.

Her mom Janelle, one of Kody"s four wives, was also in attendance with the rest of the family.

Maddie wore a traditional white strapless wedding gown while Caleb wore khakis.

Yes, he wore khakis to his own wedding.

"I can cut a rug on a dance floor in khakis better than a monkey suit," he told Us Weekly.

Listen, I could certainly dance more effectively barefoot and in biker shorts, but that doesn"t mean it"s appropriate for a wedding.

But Maddie didn"t seem bothered, so no biggie.

We saw Maddie announce her engagement on the reality show during its season premiere last month.

"I"m pretty excited," the bride told Us. "It doesn"t feel real."

The couple posted the video below to the Sister Wives Facebook page, shot just after the rehearsal dinner.

In the vid, they thank fans for support and all the marriage advice.

Advice like, perhaps, please oh please don"t bring other women into your marriage like your mom and dad did?

At this point, it seems Maddie and Caleb don"t plan to go that route.

“I’m not one to live plural marriage,” she said during a TLC special last November.

Apparently, Maddie took one look at the crackpot life of her father with his multiple wives and 17 kids between them and said, NOPE, not for me.

Good thing, because a court recently denied Kody"s request to decriminalize polygamy in the state of Utah.

Sister Wives Season 7 Episode 5 Recap: The Unforgiven

Sister Wives Season 7 Episode 5 focused on Meri Brown getting a present for Kody in order to move past that whole catfish cataclysm.

Picking up where last week – really the previous four weeks – left off, Sister Wives Season 7 Episode 5 addressed Meri’s epic scandal.

As she works repair the broken trust caused by her catfishing scandal, she creates artwork for each of the wives to represent the family.

Both the polygamous family collectively, and each individual family.

She notes that Robyn and Kody’s painting features palm trees and a rising sun to show the fact that they are in the “sunrise” of their relationship.

It’s a nice sentiment, but … where do we even begin with all this.

When you watch Sister Wives online, you know that the romance of Meri and Kody is nonexistent; they’re no longer at the start of anything.

The fact that Meri Brown was catfished by a woman pretending to be a man doesn’t even seem to bother Kody all that much on merit.

If anything, he just seems confused as to why she’d be lonely.

This after Meri gave him a legal divorce so he could marry Robyn too. Guy seems so utterly clueless it’s getting to be a little ridiculous.

Apology trees are one thing, healing relationships are another.

Even Meri knows this deep down. “I broke trust with a lot of people just because I handled things so poorly,” she says to the cameras.

She wants everyone to know she is still here, however, and is there to stay, no matter what insecurities she has or what she’s done.

The kids are a big factor, of course. Maybe the only factor.

And yet, when Meri asks Robyn if she can bring Solomon with her on a trip to see Mariah, only to be denied, this proves telling as well.

Yes, Meri loves all of the children as if they were hers, but at the end of the day, they are the biological offspring of Kody and others.

The simplest reality can be the hardest to swallow.

Sister Wives Season 7 Episode 3 Recap: Thanksgiving Drama ... or Signs of Hope?

What went down on Sister Wives Season 7 Episode 3? A whole lot of drama regarding Thanksgiving and much deeper issues, that’s what.

If you watch Sister Wives online, you know what the Browns have been going through lately, and if you know families in general, well …

Let’s just say the holidays have a unique way of bringing out the best – but also the worst, and the most dramatic – in just about everyone.

When you see Meri and Janelle Brown clash over Thanksgiving, in other words, you’re seeing the result of more deep seated issues.

The catfish scandal fallout is something that will likely play out on TV – and behind closed doors – for months if not years out in Nevada.

Still, in the wake of all that, there are signs of hope.

Focusing on Thanksgiving not long after the Browns’ therapy session was probably good timing, but the occasion meant its own stressors.

Meri and Janelle joined forces to create the elaborate place settings for the 70+ Thanksgiving dinner attendees … oh yes, seventy plus.

Janelle worked hard to accommodate Meri’s plans, and with a gracious attitude to boot, all in spite of their shared history with Kody.

No matter what she’s been through, Janelle seems to want a real friendship, even a deeper relationship, with her #1 sister wife, Meri.

Of all the Sister Wives, she’s the least likely to be thrown off by whatever drama Kody has going on, and the most likely to stay level-headed.

In a sense, she’s the glue keeping them together.

Most notably at all, Janelle took the time to express how thankful she is that Meri is with them for the holiday after all she’s been through.

That kind of selflessness can’t be ignored.

Bottom line: Janelle may not always feel like she gets adequate attention, or love, or whatever you want to call it from her fellow wives.

Instead of withdrawing, she goes out of her way to remind them just how much they mean to her and assure them that they’re in it together.

Follow the links above and see.

Sister Wives Sneak Peek: Meri vs. Janelle!

I don"t know how these women do it.

Dealing with the emotional ickiness of having to share a husband with three other women is bad enough.

But having to fight over dominance on who gets to plan Thanksgiving?

These are the everyday peccadillos that vex a polygamous family such as the Browns.

In a clip for Sister Wives, the ladies are making preparations for Thanksgiving, but Meri and Janelle are at odds.

"You"ve come empty handed!" Meri exclaims when Janelle walks in the room. "I thought the plan was we had ideas."

Meri was already hard at work, trimming decorations for the dinner, but Janelle had a different perception of their meeting"s goals.

"When I walked into Meri"s I was just surprised how much she bought already," she reveals in her confessional. "Wow… I thought we were still in the planning stages."

"She"s got dishes and she"s got everything. She"s already got it."

The pair bicker over the settings before Janelle admits that she"s "challenged" when it comes to "artsy-craftsy stuff."

Meri explains that there"s a lot of work to do and she needs help, and Janelle tells her she wants to be really hands-on.

"I"m swimming a little bit because I really wanted to be more in on the planning part, but I"m conflicted because I like what she"s chosen," Janelle says to camera.

"It sort of feels like the project"s getting away from me now, like it"s becoming a little bit more Meri"s project."

Meri seems to know that her sister wife lacks the Martha Stewart gene and deems the project "overwhelming" for her.

The scene depicts passive-aggressiveness at its finest.

This episode was shot last year, but in the time since we"re learned a number of developments about the family.

In fact, it sounds like holiday woes are just the tip of the iceberg, because both Meri and Janelle are rumored to be leaving the show – and their "husband" Kody Brown.

Earlier this month, Kody got some bad news when a Utah judge denied his request to make plural marriages legal.

Sounds like the women are cool with that.

Watch the tension unfold below:

Sister Wives Request Denied: Judge Rules Polygamy Is Still Illegal!

Sometimes, you just can’t have it all.

Such is the case for Kody Brown and his four wives, who all star on TLC’s Sister Wives.

Janelle, Christine, Robyn and Meri learned on Friday that a federal appeals court had “denied a request to reconsider its earlier dismissal of a decision that decriminalized polygamy in Utah, according to The Salt Lake Tribute.

Last month, three judges on the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver, Co ruled that the Browns could not sue the state for banning polygamy.

The Browns had requested a rehearing, but on May 13th the judges were like “nope.  No thumbs up on plural marriages.”

What to do when the justice system tries to get in the way of a good time?

Take it national.

The family’s attorney, Jonathan Turley stated that the reality stars would take their case to the U.S. Supreme Court.

“While disappointed, the Brown family remains committed to this case and the struggle for equal rights for all families in Utah,” Turley said.

The Browns sued the state of Utah in 2011, “alleging the state’s bigamy law violated their constitutional right to privacy by prohibiting them from living together and that the law criminalized their sexual relationships.”

A Police investigation forced the family to move from Lehi, Utah to Nevada in order to avoid prosecution.

In 2013. a judge gave the Browns a break by striking down the cohabitation portion of the bigamy law, stating that it forced the family  “to leave Utah and violated their rights to privacy and religious freedom.”

“The 10th Circuit panel ruled that a prosecutor can publicly declare a family to be felons, keep them under criminal investigation, and denounce them for their religious beliefs without fear of being held accountable in a court of law,” Turley said.

Utah law, according to the Tribute states that “people are guilty of third-degree felony bigamy if they hold multiple marriage licenses or if, when already married, they cohabit with another consenting adult in a marriage-like relationship.”

tl;dr – polygamy is still illegal.

Meri Brown: Catfish Scandal Gets Even Worse For Sister Wives Star

You have to feel a little bad for someone who is stuck in a frustratingly lonely polygamous relationship, and seeks companionship on the world wide web, only to be duped by a woman posing as a man.

Last year, Sister Wives star Meri Brown admitted to falling for a stranger online.  The reason for the admission was that Brown was being blackmailed by her new friend, for whom she had developed romantic feelings.

Jacquelyn “Jackie” Overton introduced herself to Brown as Samuel “Sam” Cooper, and has made quite the name for herself by exposing her relationship with Brown.

According to Starcasm, Overton made public photos sent to her by Brown, and posted personal voicemail messages left by Brown.

In January, Overton used her alias to publish Almost Meri’ed, a book detailing the affair.

In April, Overton published Almost Defame’ed,a follow-up which goes into the fallout of their relationship after it became public.

It’s weird.  this whole thing is so damn weird.

Additionally, Overton spoke with five screenwriters interested in adapting her book into a movie.  It’s important to note here that Overton is still acting as Cooper, but has not yet revealed what she looks like.

In case anyone thought Overton was merely obsessed with exposing Brown, she had this to say on her blog:

“I wish her all of my best. I am open to talking to her again someday. I really do believe in this lifetime she will tell the truth and admit that I am real, I am a man, and I did not catfish her.

“I know she is a good person, she has a big heart. I know she will do right by me. I know it. It may take her years. Years is all I’ve got left to give her. So I will wait for it to come and I will immediately forget it and accept the apology. I have forgiven her already because I really do understand the one thing no one else sees. Meri is so scared to tell him and her family that she fell completely head over heels in love with me. That we had sex, that she really was going to leave Kody.

“She is so scared she is controlling her words instead of just opening up with the truth and saying Yes, I fell in love with Samuel.

“She is so scared to lose everything for me. I know this because when I fell in love with Meri all those months ago, that’s the exact place I was at with myself.

“If I fall for this spiritually married woman, am I really ready to lose it all if we get caught someday? Can I face God, my Church, my family, friends, and all the people in the world that will know who I am? I was there where she’s at. I know how hard it can be. So I forgive her for telling the entire world that I catfished her. I did not catfish Meri Brown.”

I…I’ve got nothing.  This whole thing is so confusing.

Sister Wives Season 7 Episode 2 Recap: Wives in Crisis

The relationship between two of Kody’s spouses and one of the show’s most dysfunctional dynamics was featured on Sister Wives Season 7 Episode 2.

Oh yes, Meri and Janelle Brown headed to “couples” therapy …

Yes, Sister Wives Season 7 Episode 2 saw Kody Brown’s first and second wives attend counseling to work on things with one another.

If you watch Sister Wives online, you know these two have a history.

According to Janelle Brown, drama between herself and Meri began when she joined the family three years after Meri and Kody were married.

Janelle chalked it up to the duo’s extremely different personalities.

That, or MULTIPLE WOMEN MARRYING THE SAME DUDE.

“The time has now arrived that Meri and I have our appointment [with Nancy]. I have some butterflies in my stomach for sure,” Janelle said.

Kody Brown states that he hopes his wives can come to an understanding but fears “these two mommies may never have it worked out.”

His third and fourth wives, Christine and Robyn, also say that they’re excited for the two to seek counseling, as “the less tension the better.”

In the therapist’s office, Kody’s wives reverse roles as a way to break the ice, and it turns into a very interesting exercise for both women.

“It’s very painful to watch people imitate you and then to watch their reactions to your imitation of them,” Janelle says after playing Meri.

During therapy, the two learn that Janelle doesn’t like how direct Meri is, while Meri finds it frustrating that Janelle can’t process feelings.

Their counselor advises them to embrace each other’s differences, leaving them feeling as though they accomplished “a lot” in therapy.

“I feel like we made good progress and understanding how we’re different,” Janelle says. “Hopefully we can [use] what we learned.”

“It should be interesting. I hope it works out.”

Sister Wives: Meri and Christine Attempt Therapy, Things Get Super Awkward

Conservative people aren"t really into therapy, so when they agree to sit down with a professional, it"s a huge breakthrough.

However, these sessions are usually supposed to be private, because things can get super real and raw.

In other words, reality shows need to stop recording therapy visits.  We as the audience are very happy that stars are getting help for their issues, but some things are too sacred, even in the name of ratings.

TLC excels at exploitation, so they had no problem sending cameras into a family therapy session on this Sunday"s episode of Sister Wives.

Meri and Janelle agreed to undergo treatment to mend their fractured relationship, as Meri continues to deal with the fallout from her "catfish" scandal in 2015.

"I"m totally excited they"re going to go into therapy together," Christine told the cameras in a clip.

"For them, it"s really exciting. It"s good. It"s a big, huge, scary step. It really is.

"There are so many relationships. When one is off, it really is off. It really makes everything off."

Well, there are five of you in this relationship, four of whom have ovaries.

During their session, the therapist encouraged Meri and Janelle to try role reversals, which she believes is key to helping the women understand each other more.

Janelle gave it the old college try.

"When I want to talk about something and you just shut down, I just think that you"re not interested in what I have to say or you"re not paying attention to me, because you just sit there." "You just sit there and you just blow me off," Janelle explained to Meri as Meri.

"I really want to work this out, I really want to talk about these things but you"re not even talking, you"re not even willing to address it. You check out."

Janelle hit the nail on the head, according to Meri.

"I get really frustrated when she does [blow me off] and my wall will go right up," Meri told the counselor.

"It"s like, fine. I"m done."

The catfishing scandal, in which Meri developed a relationship with a woman posing as a man online, was discussed in the season premiere.

"You didn"t want to be out of the family, you just wanted to be out of your relationship with me," Kody Brown accused his wife.

Get a clue, bro, Meri said (I"m paraphrasing here).

"Kody, this person got so far into my head that I didn"t know what end was up sometimes," Meri explained.

"And I"m still trying to get her out of there."

Watch the clip below, and tune into Sister Wives on Sundays at 9pm ET on TLC.
