Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard Prepare For End of Days, Post Selfies

As they look ahead to their future missionary plans, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are also doing all they can to prepare for the apocalypse.

While enjoying one another’s company and documenting the experience on social media, of course. The two aren’t mutually exclusive.

The reality stars and Arkansas husband-wife missionary team recently revealed that they’re now actively preparing for the end of days.

As in the Biblical prophecy re: the demise of the humanity.

Which will be taking place very soon, in their view.

“My sweet hubby @derickdillard proofing my research paper for my Bible class. He’s da best! #latenights #longweekend,” Jill said of the above pic.

She cutely added: “#messyroom #almostdone #yay”

Yay, apocalypse! Almost done with this life!!!!

In their latest blog post on the Dillard Family website, Jill and Derick said that they are indeed taking Bible classes back home in Arkansas.

The parents of baby Izzy are presumably going to pass what they learn along to those they call the “spiritually dead of Central America.”

Quoth Derick on social media: “I love having a front-row seat to just get a glimpse of how God is going to fulfill Revelation 7:9.”

“I truly believe that we are living in a generation with unique opportunities that God is using to usher in the Kingdom of Heaven quicker than any of us may realize.”

Okay, well, here’s hoping? Maybe?

End of the world aside, fans have speculated that they are stepping up their bid to save lost souls because they’re behind in their convert count.

The producers of Counting On appear to be behind when it comes to new footage. Last week’s show as devoted to recycling old material.

The “Guys’ Guide to Courting” took a look back at Jill Duggar and Jessa Duggar’s courtships and engagements, which was … random.

Not that we don’t love Jill and Der, but they got married two years ago, making us wonder if the Duggars have simply run out of material.

Despite some teases of interesting topics, like John David Duggar courting, or Josiah Duggar courting again, fans were far from pleased.

A large number flooded the family’s social media accounts with grievances and complaints – and not about the family pariah Josh for once.

“I am TIRED of the walks down memory lane… especially when some of the walks were within a couple of months,” one viewer wrote.

“If your [sic] going to have a tv show show something new,” said another.

“People already know the rules of dating and courting for the Duggars.”

Yet another disgruntled member of Duggar Nation opined that they might tune them out, saying: “Enough with the looking back stuff already.”

“If people are still watching at this point, they’ve already seen it all and don’t need to see a whole episode full of it again.”

“If you are lacking content so much that you have to drag every little thing out (i.e. dragging the engagement over at least 3 episodes).”

“Then it might be time to reconsider this show. I like the show, but I am tired of re-watching the same thing over and over.”

The fans aren’t wrong, honestly.

We’d encourage you to watch Counting On online to see for yourself … but you can just click through the gallery instead for a refresher.
