We say this with nothing but love, but, uh, Kanye West seems like he’d be a lot to handle, right?
It’s hard enough just observing him from a distance, all his rants and raves and outbursts, but can you imagine actually being married to the guy?
Unfortunately, it looks like Kim Kardashian might not be able to imagine it for much longer, either.
Yesterday, Kanye was hospitalized after what his doctor called a “psychiatric emergency.”
He was with his personal trainer and, apparently as a result of severe exhaustion, flipped out, even allegedly trying to hit someone at the gym.
In the 911 call, his doctor said he was suffering from “temporary psychosis,” and that he would most likely get violent when police showed up.
Kim had flown to New York to make her first public appearance since her robbery, but she flew right back to L.A. when she heard about Kanye.
It was very sweet of her, and it was perhaps not something that many people would expect her to do, but it looks like even though she went so far (literally) to be there for him, their marriage might be in trouble.
They’ve been having issues for a while now, an insider tells People — ever since Kim was robbed in Paris at the beginning of October.
“Kim has had a very rough time since the robbery,” the source explains, and “It hasn’t helped that Kanye has been touring.”
“Their lives have been quite chaotic. It’s been very trying for them both and not a good recipe for a happy marriage.”
The big issue is that Kim was “usually the more stable and strong person in the marriage. Kanye is used to leaning on her.”
“Since Kim has had her own issues to deal with, the roles have been reversed. Kanye has had to stay strong to support Kim, and it’s like he can’t handle it anymore.”
“It’s like Kanye is falling apart now,” the source says, “because Kim hasn’t been able to give him her full attention.”
Another source claims that “The last few months have been difficult for their marriage. They bicker a lot and things are not great.”
This past week in particular has reportedly been “very difficult,” because Kanye has been “exhausted and overwhelmed,” while Kim has been “less patient” with him than she’s been in the past.
Yet another insider explains that their marriage works becase Kanye “has always treated Kim like he’s her queen” while Kim is “really good about sort of bowing down to him and telling him what he wants to hear.”
But still, “She definitely rolls her eyes when he goes into his mode or rants. She’s also very protective of him, but he can be exhausting.”
So Kanye has been struggling for a good long while now, but Kim has always been able to support him. Now, after her robbery, she needs support, but he’s not emotionally capable of giving it to her?
Marriages have ended for less.
Here’s hoping that these two crazy kids are able to get through this tough time and come out stronger in the end.
Come on, you know the world wouldn’t be the same without Kimye.
