Mike Aktari Dead; Jerseylicious Star Was 28

Mike Aktari, who appeared in the Style Network reality show Jerseylicious from 2010-13, died on Monday, according to media reports.

Aktari was just 28 years of age.

What happened to him? It’s unclear.

Police sources told TMZ that no foul play is suspected at this time in the death of Aktari, a personal trainer from Westbury, New York.

Toxicology reports are pending.

On TV, Mike Aktari was best known for being the boyfriend of Olivia Blois Sharpe, 29, a makeup artist who worked at the Gatsby Salon.

The reality series centered around that place of business, as fans of Jerseylicious, which had a small but loyal fan base, clearly remember.

Tension between Blois Sharpe and Aktari’s ex-girlfriend Tracy DiMarco, who also worked at the salon as a stylist, was a major storyline.

Given that tried and true formula for reality TV success – or real-life awkwardness for that matter – one need not struggle to see why.

Aktari and Blois Sharpe were not together at the time of his death, but she shared two emotional tributes to her ex-boyfriend on Instagram.

“My heart has never hurt this hard,” Blois Sharpe wrote, along with a collage of photos featuring the former couple in happier times.

And clearly they shared many happy times through the years.

“I wouldn’t trade those three years we spent together for the world,” she said in an outpouring of emotion for her lost love.

“You showed me never ending love and loyalty,” she added.

“You accepted me as my crazy goofy self and loved it.”

“You looked at me the way no one ever has.”

“You had the most wonderful heart.”

“I wish I made more of an attempt to get together to catch up when you asked,” she added at the end of her touching farewell.

“I’ll always love you Milad,” Blois Sharpe said.

On Wednesday, the makeup artist shared another picture of herself with Atkari which she described as one of her “favorite” pics together.

“Our time here is so valuable and limited,” she said, urging others to cherish the ones they love because life is so precious and short.

“If there is someone who has a part of your heart, no matter what has transpired in the past, no matter what the situation might be.”

“LET THEM KNOW how much they mean to you,” Blois Sharpe advised her online followers, who she hopes will use this as inspiration.

“Milad takes a piece of my heart with him.”
