Conor McGregor has been in the news more than ever lately as a result of his insanely highly-anticipated fight against Floyd Mayweather.
But McGregor is never far from the headlines, due to his wildly lavish lifestyle and gift for trash talk and self-promotion.
Unfortunately, there are downsides to calling so much attention to one’s self, not the least of which is that it’s extraordinarily to get away with any sort of bad behavior.
The Hollywood Gossip has received an exclusive report that McGregor was unfaithful to his longtime girlfriend, Dee Devlin, while Devlin was pregnant last year.
The tip comes to us directly from Conor’s cheating partner, who prefers to remain anonymous for obvious reasons.
According to our source – who identifed herself as Sasha, but noted that that is not her real name – the one-night stand took place while McGregor was in New York for a press conference at Madison Square Garden on September 27.
Sasha says McGregor either didn’t seem very concerned about keeping their dalliance low-key, or he’s simply not very good at covering his tracks.
She claims that the morning after their alleged hook-up, McGregor Instagram messaged her a photo from the night before.
This is far from the first mini-scandal that McGregor has been involved, and it certainly won’t be the last.
In all likelihood, any fallout from the cheating allegations will be buried under the avalanche of news about the McGregor-Mayweather fight, set to take place in Las Vegas on August 26.
The fight is the first of its kind, as McGregor has never boxed professionally, and Mayweather is an undefeated, multi-division champ.
Needless to say, Mayweather is heavily favored.
The outspoken 40-year-old has promised to “slap the sh-t out of McGregor” in the ring, and bookies seem to agree that that’s about how things will play out.
As anyone who watched Mayweather dance around the ring in his fight against Manny Pacquiao knows, the man isn’t the sort of fighter who necessarily slaps the sh-t out of his opponents.
But if there’s any truth to Sasha’s claims, perhaps Dee Devlin will take care of smacking McGregor around, herself.
