Over the years, Khloe Kardashian has been very open about her desire for two things:
1. A stable relationship with a dude who’s close to her level career-wise (preferably an NBA player).
2. A child of her own (Aunt Koko has a lot of love to give).
She can check off half her wish list thanks to her relationship with Tristan Thompson, who seems sincere in his desire to build a family with Khloe.
Unfortunately, the situation is somewhat complicated by the fact that Tristan just became a dad back in December.
Yes, prior to meeting Khloe, Tristan impregnated his then-girlfriend Jordan Craig.
So he’s already helping to raise a newborn these days, a fact that many thought would be enough to force Khloe to push back her plans of motherhood.
But it seems Tristan is totally on board to make some babies with Khloe.
In fact, some say the process is already in full swing.
A source tells Life & Style that Khloe and Tristan are trying to get pregnant, but thus far, they haven’t had any luck.
Members of Khloe’s family have reportedly suggested alternative methods, but it seems their advice is falling on deaf ears.
Insiders say Kim Kardashian is using a surrogate to carry her third child, and she recommended that Khloe do the same.
For reasons that remain unclear, however, Khloe wasn’t having it.
“She isn’t even willing to discuss it with Kim,” says the insider.
“She is determined to get pregnant on her own.”
The source says it’s reached the point where Khloe is “stressing out over conceiving with Tristan.”
“I would love to have a family,” she said at the time.
On a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloe met with a fertility expert who explained that she might have difficulty conceiveing.
Khloe seemed unconcerned.
“We’ve talked about it. He is a father, and I know for a fact that he would be an impeccable father,” Khloe said at the time.
“I definitely want to be a mom. But I don’t put the pressure on it. It’s not like, the clock is ticking. I feel in my soul it will happen.”
It seems that in the months since that episode was filmed, Khloe may have started hearing the faint ticking of that clock.
