Vin Diesel: Hated On by Fast 8 Crew!

In the ongoing feud between Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel, the cast and crew of Fast 8 appears to have chosen a side.

And it can best be summed up as follows:

Dwayne Johnson rules. Vin Diesel drools!

We paraphrase, but this is the basic summation of an update on the rivalry by TMZ.

First, a rehashing of event recent is in order:

Earlier this week, Johnson went off on an Instagram tirade against at least one unnamed male co-star on Fast 8.

He made a point of saying his female colleagues were great and awesome and professional throughout the shoot.

“My male co-stars however are a different story,” he mysteriously added.

Johnson went on to call one of them out for being a “candy ass” and for being “chicken sh-t” and for not acting like a “true professional.”

As you might expect, the rant created quite a stir because it was so out of character by Johnson.

From there, Tyrese Gibson shared his own social media message, saying he loves Johnson like a brother and emphasizing that the two have never had a beef.

Insiders, meanwhile, told TMZ that Johnson had many issues with Vin Diesel during filming. 

That’s who Johnson was calling out.

And now TMZ has gone more in-depth on this unexpected feud.

Production sources tell the gossip website that Johnson was displeased with Diesel’s work ethic for several weeks… and he wasn’t alone.

Members of the crew clam Diesel would often just show up a half hour late to set; not because he wasn’t around, but because he refused to leave his trailer.

Along these lines, Diesel hated 7 a.m. call times on Monday.

So the entire production was forced to push everything back three hours on those days.

Moreover, sources tell TMZ that Diesel was beyond arrogant. He wouldn’t listen to anyone and would openly criticize the acting of others.

What about Johnson?

Take all of these Vin Diesel issues… and think the opposite.

Johnson was the “ultimate professional” on set, TMZ writes.

He was on time, he was friendly, he nailed his scenes and he got along with everyone.

After Johnson called Diesel out on Monday, the stars allegedly sat down for a discussion in Johnson’s trailer on Tuesday.

But little got resolved.

When Diesel completed shooting on his scenes for Fast 8, he left the production area as soon as he could.

In his Instagram missive, Johnson acknowledges “conflict” with the Fast 8 “family,” but concludes:

“At the end of the day me and #F8 co-stars all agree on the most important thing: Delivering an incredible movie to the world. #Fast8 #IcemanCometh #FamilyGrowth.”

Yes, Taylor’s most faithful Swifties will never abandon her, and she’ll likely shatter more sales records with her next album.

But in the wake of seriously ugly feuds with Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry and Calvin Harris, it seems unlikely that Swift will ever recover the “endearingly awkward girl next door” image that her team worked so hard to create.

There have even been reports of Taylor’s famous “Squad” turning against her in the wake of some seriously diva-like behavior.

Now the nail in the coffin has come in the form of a Star magazine poll that named Taylor the number one most hated celebrity in the world.

Yes, Ms. Swift beat out the likes of Kim (#2), Katy (#12), Shia LaBeouf (#25), and even Bill Cosby (#13).

Obviously, Star’s readership is being more than a little unfair here, and it’s not like the tabloid has the greatest reputation to begin with.

Still, taking the top spot in their annual poll has gotta sting.

Gwyneth Paltrow was voted most hated in 2009, and she’s still talking about it.

In fairness, she’s pissed that she somehow beat out Chris Brown.

Can’t blame her for that.

Just because an actor works on a film doesn"t mean they"re proud of it.

Sometimes, they just gotta pay the bills and take a role that well, isn"t the best.

3. Jim Carrey

Jim Carrey regretted the 2010 film Kick-Ass because of the violence. Before the release of the film, he tweeted “I did Kickass a month b4 Sandy Hook and now in all good conscience I cannot support that level of violence.”

George Clooney wasn’t happy with Batman & Robin at all. He was quoted saying, “With hindsight, it’s easy to look back at this and go, ‘Woah, that was really ****, and I was really bad in it!"”

Kim Kardashian: I Hated My Met Ball Gown!!!

First world problems, amiright?

Despite being named Vogue’s best-dressed couple at the 2016 Costume Institute Gala, Kim Kardashian is not pleased with how she looked.

“Kim said she felt like she was going to fail big time,” a source told Radar Online before the gala, adding that she “was so furious” that Kanye West pressured her to wear a silver gown by their friend, Olivier Rousteing at Balmain.

Kardashian put on a good face for the cameras, and told E! why she went with the robotic look.

“I felt everyone was gonna go with [silver],” she explained.

“I still really wanted to do it. I thought Balmain was the perfect choice for me and Kanye especially.”

The real story is far different from what Kardashian told the press.

“She seems so sick of wearing Balmain and she is definitely sick of Kanye calling the shots for practically every single thing she does,” another source told Radar.

A few months before the year’s most anticipated gala – which draws high-profile guests including billionaire moguls, fashion designers, royalty and celebrities – Kardashian wanted to take control of her ensemble.

“Kim doesn’t want to do anything risky,” a source told Radar at the time.

“She wants to wear something classic and elegant. Nothing like that floral print dress Kanye persuaded her to wear in 2013.”

2016’s theme was Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology, which explored the contrast between handmade couture and machine-made fashion.

“Kanye thinks he can totally push the envelope and have Kim in something very avant garde and unique,” the source claimed.

“The theme plays to Kanye’s strengths as a fashion designer, and it’s very frustrating that Kim isn’t falling in line.” 

Imagine a couple citing “Met Gala Sartorial Differences” as their reason for divorce?

“Kanye is very vocal about Kim’s fashion choices and is hyper-critical when he doesn’t agree with how she is presenting herself,” the source added.

“They are fighting non-stop over this, and it has just gotten ridiculous.”

Well, things may have turned around for the Wests, because Vogue named them last night’s Best Dressed Couple.

“Thank you Vogue for making us the best dressed couple!!!” Kardashian wrote on Instagram.

“THANK YOU @balmain & @olivier_rousteing for bringing us & making us the sickest looks! We love you #RobotVibes”

Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan: They Always Hated Each Other!

According to a recent report, Michael Strahan has not spoken to Kelly Ripa since a meeting with ABC executives on Tuesday in which the latter learned the former was leaving for Good Morning America.

According to another recent report, however, this should come as no surprise.

Because Ripa and Strahan never got along.

“It was all for the show,’’ an insider close to Ripa tells The New York Post of Kelly and Michael’s supposedly cordial relationship.

“They could not stand each other, and whenever they communicated off-camera, it was always through their reps.”

Ripa has reportedly remained angry all week; less over Strahan receiving a raise to co-anchor GMA full-time (starting in September) than over the delay in her finding out about this network decision.

Kelly believes she deserves to have been told about this major change to Live! in advance of the public finding out about it.

In response, Ripa did not show up for Wednesday’s episode of the program and no one is certain when she’ll return.

Strahan – a former New York Giants defensive star – was already working two days a week at GMA, on top of co-hosting Live! each morning… and the stress was allegedly taking its toll.

“He was having temper tantrums,” Page Six writes.

“He’d lose it, yelling at [Ripa] and [executive producer Michael] Gelman. He acted like he was in a locker room, not a dressing room.”

A source close to Strahan, however, insists that Michael was advised by network higher-ups to remain mum on his new GMA role.

This same source refutes the notion that Kelly and Michael only spokes through middle men, but does acknowledge that plenty of “tension” existed between the colleagues.

Ripa, meanwhile, was replaced this morning by Erin Andrews.

The reporter tried to joke with Strahan, asking if anything of note had been going on with him, to which Michael laughed and replied “Too soon! Too soon!”

To many, though, Ripa cannot return to Live! soon enough.

But will she return to a chair across from Strahan?

“I don’t believe that co-hosting together is a viable option anymore,” a source tells People Magazine.

“Anything is possible, but that doesn’t seem like a viable option. Practically, it’s a different dynamic now.”

Kylie Jenner: My Mom Totally Hated My Lips!!!

Fans of Keeping Up With The Kardashians have followed Kylie Jenner’s transformation from adolescence to adulthood, so it comes as no surprise that her Elle Canada December cover is super-sexy (if not a reminder of who Jenner is related to).  

Readers were encouraged to choose between two of Jenner’s covers for the issue, both featuring the 18-year-old with blond hair.  The black-and-white option emerged victorious, but it was the photo spread that had us asking, “is there something dangling from your nose?”

In one shot, Jenner was wearing some sort of piercing that’s probably not permanent (we hope), with a corset, fishnet stockings and a baby blue motorcycle jacket.  Another saw her in a sheer dress, listening to music from studded ear phones.

Now, about those lips…

For awhile, Jenner avoided any talk about whether or not she used fillpers to plump up her pout.

Jenner admitted to getting her lips done in an episode of KUWTK, citing an insecurity she’s had since the age of 10.

“When I got my lips done, I literally told no one! I didn’t tell my best friend or even the guy I liked at the time. I really thought it was no one’s business. My mom was super against it, but I begged her and begged her and she finally let me do it.”

Jenner also touched on the topic of her love life, specifically her relationship with Tyga, 25.

“That has been pretty organic,” Jenner said of going public with him. “But I do think that if you let people in too deep, it gets hard—your fans get too invested, and then they know when you break up and make up. I don’t want people to know every time we fight or break up, so I’d rather keep some things private.”
