Yolanda Foster: Illness Drove Her and Husband David Apart (Report)

Last night, Yolanda and David Foster announced their plans to divorce after four years of marriage.

It was news that surprised almost everyone who watches The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.  

In 2012, Yolanda was diagnosed with Lyme disease, and has since traveled the world in search of a cure.  David has been by her side for much of the time, as the former model’s Instagrams have shown.

Cracks began to show, however, as Yolanda’s health continued to deteriorate.

“Things really changed in their relationship as Yolanda got sick, and then when her health worsened,” a source told People. “David travels all the time and they simply weren’t spending any time together.”

The couple sold their Malibu home for $ 19.45 million in October, according to Variety.  On last night’s RHOBH premiere, Yolanda explained that she and her husband had moved to a condo he owned for easier access to medical care.

“They just grew apart and the intense stress over her health and the disease was very hard on their marriage,” the source added.

On December 1st, Yolanda’s co-star, Kyle Richards spoke about the split on Watch What Happens Live.

“We didn’t know,” Richards told Andy Cohen.

“But I think they’ve been struggling, and Yolanda’s been so sick and I don’t know if that has anything to do with anything, but it’s just so sad.”

Yolanda and David were introduced through her ex-husband, Mohamed Hadid, with whom she has three children.

Ben Affleck: Falling Apart, Moving in With Mother in Wake of Divorce?

It’s been almost four months since Ben Affleck announced his divorce from Jennifer Garner, and the couple has gone to great lengths to maintain the illusion that they’re doing just fine and putting their kids’ needs first.

However, sources close to Affleck say the actor/director has been in rough shape since his marriage ended, and he’s reportedly been self-destructing worse than ever in recent weeks.

Last we heard from Ben, he was picking up chicks with Jon Hamm and ostensibly enjoying the single life.

But now, insiders claim the partying was all part of an attempt on Ben’s part to convince himself that all was well, when in reality, he’s missing family life in a big way. 

“Ben’s in a pretty bad way,” a source tells Grazia magazine. “He’s not really taking care of himself, he’s not shaving, hardly washing and eating a lot of junk food and his mum can’t bear to see him like this.

“She convinced him to stay in their family home so she could nurse him back to health. Now she’s really pushing for him to move in full-time once he starts filming.”

Well, Ben eating his feelings would help explain the somewhat un-superheroic shape he seems to be in these days.

But hey, maybe he’s just preparing to play a depressed Bruce Wayne in the upcoming Batman Binges. It’s just like Batman Begins, except instead of going toe-to-toe with Scarecrow, the Dark Knight faces off with a tub of Cool Whip.

Not all celebrity friendships are built to last.

Just like regular people, stars sometimes grow apart… and/or have a major blowup that ruins a once-tight relationship.

It happens to all of us. And it happened to the following pairs of very famous people:

1. Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad

Was this best friendship ever real? Or was it as fake as the series on which they once starred, The Hills? We may never know. But we do know that when one half (Heidi) makes up a sex tape rumor about the other half (LC), the odds of a friendship lasting are not strong.

Denise Richards and Heather Locklear were very close. Until, that is, Richards started dating Locklear’s ex-husband, Richie Sambora. It so often comes down to a man, doesn’t it?

5. Katy Perry and Taylor Swift

At this point, it seems impossible to believe Katy Perry and Taylor Swift were once close. They have grown into bitter enemies, allegedly because Swift thinks Perry stole one of her backup dancers.

6. Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton

They haven’t just both released sex tapes. Kim used to be Paris’ best friend and personal assistant! But now Kardashian has shot past Hilton in terms of wealth and fame and they haven’t hung out in years.

Everyone makes mistakes once in a while, but sometimes those boo-boos are bigger than others, and sometimes they’re advertised nationally.

That’s exactly what happened when Nightline sat down with Bollywood actress and current star of the new show Quantico, Priyanka Chopra.

When playing the intro to her interview, the show aired clips of Priyanka’s work. Unfortunately for them, they couldn’t quite tell the difference between Chopra and former Bollywood actress and Miss World winner Yukta Mookhey and showed a clip of Mookhey when she won the pageant in 1999.

The Quantico star ALSO won the pageant in 2000, but that’s still no excuse.

It was actually one eagle-eyed viewer that caught the moment who tweeted:

Tom Brady & Gisele Bundchen: In Couples Therapy, Spending Most of Their Time Apart

For weeks now, we’ve been hearing rumors that Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen are headed for divorce.

Several outlets claimed that Deflategate put a strain on the Brady and Bundchen’s marriage, as Tom’s anger over his suspension led to biskering at home.

Many believed that with Brady’s suspension overturned and the NFL season underway, things would return to normal in Bundchen-Brady household.

However, Star magazine is reporting that Tom and Gisele are still having trouble, and Bundchen has insisted that they start attending couples counseling in a last-ditch effort to save their marriage.

“Things got so bad after Deflategate that they could barely speak to each other,” says one insider. “Tom got irritable under the stress and she started blaming him for all their unhappiness, much of which was there before the scandal. Counseling was her ultimatum.”

It was reportedly revealed during the therapy process that Gisele was more upset than Tom realized about Brady’s trip to Vegas with Ben Affleck and Christine Ouzounian, as well as his decision to pose for photos with a known homewrecker. 

“Gisele became jealous and enraged,” says the source.

“She went to Brazil for a week and that scared Tom a little bit. She also missed his birthday and the first few preseason games for the Patriots. She was definitely sending him a message that things had to change.”

The tabloid also claims that Gisele recently jetted off to Europe by herself to get away from the drama, and that Brady has been spending as much time out of the house as possible.

Sounds like at this point, if Brady were to be laid up with an injury it would spell doom for both the Patriots’ season and Tom and Gisele’s marriage.

Remarkably, Gisele reportedly has no problem with Brady’s relationship with Donald Trump.

Kardashian-Jenner Online Popularity Contest: Tearing the Family Apart?!

Earlier this week, the ladies of the Kardashian-Jenner clan expanded their empire by launching paid apps and websites targeted at their biggest fans.

Yes, those who believe that Kim and company don’t receive enough exposure online can now pay actual US dollars to see more of the Kard clan on their computers and mobile devices.

It sounds like a ridiculous business model, but somehow, it’s already paying off…at least for the youngest of the sisters.

Kylie Jenner launched her app on Monday, and the competition from her sisters is no competition at all.

Kim also launched a paid website, and as the most widely-recognized Kardashian, you might think she would have the most subscribers. 

Of the nearly 1 million (!) subscribers that paid for Kardashian-Jenner apps or website access in the first 24 hours, more than 74% of them were Kylie kustomers.

Far from being proud of their lil sis, the other ladies are reportedly pissed!

“The family thinks that this could potentially be the beginning of the end for the Kardashian empire because it is going to start getting even more competitive within the family,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online.

“Greed and money are never good combinations.”

Some of the girls (specifically Kourtney and Kendall) were reportedly against the idea from the start, as they felt that it would not only lead to competition within the family, but might also alienate some of their fans.

“Some of the girls feel that Kris’s master plan to charge people to keep up with them is going to backfire,” says the insider.

As for the increased competitiveness – we may be seeing signs of that already.

Sources say Kylie and Kendall have been feuding at Fashion Week, and fighting over center stage at parties and public events.
