Kim Kardashian Reminds the World of Her Bikini Body
With Kylie Jenner working hard these days to regain the bikini body that has earned her over 100 million Instagram followers, Kim Kardashian is here with a message.
And it goes something like this:
Bow down before my family’s one true bikini body!
Indeed, the 37-year old is on vacation at the moment with Kourtney Kardashian and Younes Bendjima in Turks and Caicos — and it’s clear she’s on a couple missions while taking a break from her kids:
1. Get a lot of sun.
2. Remind the world that she possesses the curves and cleavage about which every warm-blooded male with an Internet connection fantasizes on a daily basis.
Kardashian had taken a mini hiatus from flaunting her bare skin, choosing instead over the past several weeks to focus on the addition of Chicago West to her adorable brood.
(Chicago, born via surrogate to Kim and Kanye West, joined siblings North and Saint, on January 15, 2018.)
But Kim is now back and focused on proving to the universe that she never really went away.
Just consider THIS underwear selfie.
And the following sizzling picture:
Kim did not really include any captions with this fresh array of sexy snapshots.
At one point, she wrote “morning.”
At another, she included emojis of a palm tree, a surfer, a bathing suit and a shell.
It’s hard not to speculate and figure that Kardashian has chosen to reemerge from her layered shell in order to calm her sisters down a bit; to slow their seductive roles.
These photos, after all, come on the heels of Kourtney sharing a number of her own pictures from this same trip.
Were those photos attractive? Sure. Click on the above link to see for yourself.
But they come across as G-Rated when compared to Kim’s R-Rated images above and below.
Prior to this run of raunchiness on social media, Kardashian shared a rare photo of herself, Kanye and all three children.
It continued her ongoing theme at the time of coming across a bit more maternally, of depicting for everyone a lifestyle that involves far less time in lingerie and far more time warming up bottles of formula.
And it’s certainly true, Kardashian has come a LONG way from the woman who once balanced a champagne glass on her raised butt for Paper Magazine while aiming to break the Internet.
Still, it’s important that she reminds the Web every now and then:
I can still be that carefree gal when I want to be!
It’s safe to assume at this point that Kim’s days of posing nude are over.
You never really know, but she doesn’t need to take all her clothes off any longer in order to prove any points or earn any money or followers.
But take a few off in order to re-establish herself as the preeminent bikini-wearer in her family, if not the entire on the entire Internet?
Sure, why not?!?

Kelly Ripa: Body-Shamed (Hard!) for This Bikini Pic
Call us crazy.
Say we’re going out on a major limb here, but we still feel a need to say it:
The Internet can be a very cruel place.
No, really. It’s true!
Just take the case of Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, for example.
The long-time couple were out and about on the beach over the weekend, having a swell time in the sun, snapping pictures and sharing them on social media.
At one point, Consuelos took a photo of his 47-year old wife in a two-piece bathing suit and wrote as a caption:
“Sultry Sundays with the sexy one are my fave,” he wrote.
Pretty sweet, right?
And, based on the snapshot itself right here, pretty accurate, right?
Looking damn fine, Kelly Ripa!
The pair’s Instagram affection continued from there, with Ripa and Consuelos posting beach shots together in their Instagram stories, simply adding “#daddy” and “Yep” as captions.
Considering the stars have been married since 1996 and have three kids, it’s refreshing to see that they remain so in love and so attracted to each other.
It’s refreshing to us, at least.
To others, apparently, it’s the basis for some serious body-shaming.
What follows is a sampling of actual comments left by actual social media users who really may need to get a life or find a hobby — or both!
She has the body of a 12-year-old boy. Guess ‘sexy’ is a matter of opinion. She is adorable, but …
Kelly’s gorgeous, but isn’t there a cutoff age where age appropriateness comes into play?
Just because you can rock a bikini, doesn’t mean you should. When you have teenagers whose friends can ogle pictures, then it’s creepy.
She has a guy’s figure.
Her body is nothing to be proud of.
We really wish we were making these critiques up.
But this is sort of stuff some people really take the time to think of and write online.
Nobody is immune to this sort of shaming, either, not even buff men such as Stephen Amell.
It makes us very sad to consider, but then we get all happy again when we remember how these strong women (and men!) often fight back against the loser trolls.
Take the following cases, for instance, and then go from being angry to being inspired.
Simply put: yo go, stars!
Kylie Jenner to Her Bikini Body: I"m Getting You Back!
We have no doubt that Kylie Jenner loves her daughter.
However, there may be something that Kylie Jenner loves even more than little Stormi: herself.
Specifically, her former self, by which we mean the figure Jenner used to show off on a regular basis nearly everyday via social media.
Just as Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian did before her, Kylie is dead set these days on acting like the worst version of herself.
She’s all about setting a terrible example for women by focusing extensively on her post-baby body and emphasizing the importance of one losing one’s pregnancy weight as soon as humanly possible.
(Editor’s Note: As soon as humanly possible when one has a personal chef, a personal trainer and no regular job at which one needs to be everyday, we ought to add.)
Within weeks of welcoming Stormi into the world, Kylie has started to once again share sexy snapshots of herself on Instagram.
She believes anyone who has a problem with the ways in which she’s shedding these pounds (e.g. using a stupid waist trainer) is just jealous of her body, as she’s intent on regaining the svelte stomach that has helped make her famous.
How close is she to doing so after seven weeks?
Surprisingly close, based on the Snapchat video Jenner posted over the weekend.

Prior to sharing this footage, Kylie jumped into a hot tub with best friend Jordyn Woods and also shared a few pictures from that fun outing.
The 20-year old reality star is wearing a one-piece bathing suit in these images, but it’s very clear that her goal is to break that attire into two.
She wants to be rocking a bikini again in just a couple months, as evidenced by a throwback photo Kylie also shared online this weekend.
It hearkens back to a simpler time, when Jenner did not have a tiny human at home to care for, and and it included a very simple caption:
summer goals.
Regular readers of The Hollywood Gossip have likely heard us say this before.
But we’re going to say it again:
Of course it’s perfectly fine for Kylie Jenner to have weight loss goals.
It’s completely cool for her to want to lose some weight and get back to a body that makes her comfortable and proud.
We have no objection at all to such a personal desire.
Instead, we object to the way Kylie and her sisters have made this sort of endeavor so public.
Not every new mother out there has access to the personal chef and/or trainer that we mentioned above.
They’re busy and stressed out enough trying to keep their baby happy and healthy, while maybe balancing a job or other responsibilities at home, without worrying about numbers on a scale.
It’s a luxury that someone like Jenner can afford to give birth and then almost instantly get back into an intense workout and diet routine.
In general, we’ve pleaded for years for members of this family to stop prioritizing weight loss and bikini bodies and ideal figures on social media.
It just sets a bad example for their millions and millions of followers, many of whom are young women.
There was actually a time when Kim and Khloe embraced their curves, long before waist training companies and diet shakes tossed money their way to shill for their products.
You want to throw things back to your tight bod, Kylie, as mentioned above?
We want to throw things back to that era. It was a simpler and healthier time.

Selena Gomez Shares a Bikini Video and a Powerful Message
Fans weep, either with grief or relief, at the news that Selena and Justin have broken up.
Selena is also processing it … by donning a bikini and adventuring Down Under on a yacht. She won"t let her surgical scars hold her back from living her life.
Check out her inspiring message below, along with the video that she shared with fans.
Selena Gomez uploaded a fun video of herself and her companions on a yacht.
She wrote a caption for this video.
"The beauty myth," she begins. "An obsession with physical perfection."
There is actually a non-fiction book by Naomi Wolf titled The Beauty Myth, but this is not the book that has a cameo in the video below.
Selena then says that this obsession "traps modern woman in an endless cycle of hopelessness, self consciousness, and self-hatred as she tries to fulfill society’s impossible definition of flawless beauty."
Some might deride Selena, who is famously beautiful, for this statement, but, as we"ll explain, she has every right to make this statement.
"I chose to take care of myself because I want to, not to prove anything to anyone."
In the video itself, Selena Gomez and her companions are taking it easy on a yacht off of the coast of Australia.
Before you salivate at your screen wishing that you could quantum leap into Selena or one of her companions and live a similar life of luxury, remember that Selena"s been in the entertainment industry since she was a child.
Also, she very nearly died last year. She"s earned her lifestyle and she"s also earned the right to have some fun.
As for why she chose Australia — viewers can see that she"s in Sydney Harbor during at least parts of the video — we can only guess.
Maybe Selena figured that if Lupus can"t kill her, then Australia"s notoriously scary fauna can"t, either.
it is widely believed that Selena"s message about body image and her appearance on video in a bikini is not a coincidence.
And no, it"s not because she"s trying to land a replacement now that the Biebs is destroyed, devastated, and broken by their breakup.
She was recently spotted out and about in a bikini, with her scars on display.
Fans know this, so she"s speaking from the heart to make sure that they understand that she"s not ashamed of her scars, but she is conscious of them.
They"re new, and they"re a reminder of how close she came to losing her life.
So … please don"t ask why she might feel that body image issues and beauty standards are sometimes unfair, folks.
Overall, the video is cute and fun.
