Pink DESTROYS Twitter Troll Who Said She Looks Old
Pink is not here to listen to haters, and she has never balked at speaking her mind.
When a troll decided to claim that she looks distractingly old, Pink roasted that troll on Twitter.
But, interestingly, just weeks after being named most beautiful woman in the world, she doesn’t necessarily disagree with the person’s opinion. Take a look:
Someone on the interwebs decided to diss the 38-year-old singer in a tweet … and, in the process, appeared in Pink’s Twitter mentions.
“Wow Pink looks so old that she should be named Purple instead.”
That’s one of those lines that feels like a sick burn unless you think about it … at all.
(Why is purple somehow older than pink? What does this person know about colors that we do not?)
Pink saw this and decided to call out the hater with a tweet of her own.
“You must be from la,” she writes.
Los Angeles has a reputation for an intense preoccupation with certain beauty ideals, including youth and fitness. It’s not just Hollywood, either.
“Well, there are a few people left in the world that choose to age naturally.”
To be clear, natural aging can be fast or slow, depending upon factors like childhood, genetics, sun exposure, becoming a parent, and facial expressions.
Pink continues to roast her hater, writing:
“And I’ve earned every f–king minute of my 38 years.”
She has led and continues to lead a very full life.
Then, she turns the tables.
“How you lookin though?”
She points out that it is easy to ridicule and attack famous people — and that her hater is nothing of the sort.
“Cause I never heard of ya til you put my name in your mouth.”
She decides on a name for the person who decided to ridicule her looks in her own mentions.
“I shall call you little purple troll.”
Pink put up a follow-up tweet for her followers, speaking much more generally.
“I am of the mindset that it’s a blessing to grow old.”
Well … I personally would agree that it is a blessing to live a long time. Forever, ideally.
But Pink says that the physical signs of aging are a badge of pride.
“That if your face has lines around your eyes and mouth it means you’ve laughed a lot.”
It certainly does. In fact, some actors find that their faces age prematurely because they spend every day at work making facial expressions on camera instead of staring into a screen with resting b–chface.
Pink says that she eagerly anticipates new signs of aging.
“I pray I look older in 10 years.”
That sounds like an odd statement coming from anyone over the age of 15, but Pink’s next line may jar your sense of perspective.
“‘Cause that will mean I’m alive.”
Wow.
Fans cheered her on, with one writing.
“Cant wait to see you when you’re 80.”
They hope that she’ll still be doing shows as an octegenarian in the year 2060.
“And if you’re still doing aerial stunts, all the better.”
Pink responded, delighted.
“You know I will!”
She even has a name in mind.
“I’ll call it ‘the wrinkles and rolls tour."”
Obviously, a lot of people have a lot of opinions about the hideous and agonizing process of aging, with many seeing it as a disease that impacts all humans that, they hope, will one day be cured.
But this story is not really about your stance on wrinkles or other cruel failures of the flesh.
This is a story about not being f–king rude to celebrities on Twitter.
Especially when your tweet will show up in their mentions.
Oh, and especially when it’s Pink, who never hesitates to own pathetic trolls on Twitter.

Pink Has Been Named Most Beautiful Woman in the World
Through the years, it’s been proven that Pink can make us cry.
She can also make us stand up and cheer.
But can she make men around the world drool and perhaps reach for a box of Kleenex in anticipation of pleasuring themselves to her appearance?
Yes, according to the latest issue of People Magazine.
The publication features Pink and her two kids (Willow, 6, and Jameson, 1) on the cover — and while it doesn’t come straight out and label the singer as The Most Beautiful Woman in the World…
… it essentially is doing exactly this.
People Editor-in-Chief Jess Cagle says this annual issue has undergone a bit of an evolution, but the general theme and premise remain the same.
“Over the years, the name of the issue has evolved (‘50 Most Beautiful,’ ‘Most Beautiful Woman,’ etc.), but the words ‘Most Beautiful’ have always been part of the title,” he said, adding:
“This year we’re renaming it ‘The Beautiful Issue’ – to make clear that the issue is not a beauty contest. Nothing else has changed.”
Okay.
So why select Pink to represent a celebration of “strength, humanity and artistry,” as Cagle explains?
Because she’s “a woman who checks all those boxes,” he says.
“She’s a performer, mother and role model whose honesty, humor, confidence and sheer star power make her one of the most beloved and fascinating entertainers on the planet.”
No argument here. We adore Pink.
But the singer wasn’t interested in discussing her beauty or sex appeal with People.
Instead, she wants to discuss her her role as a mom.
“The thing about parenting is you never know if anything you’re doing is working,” she says in this cover story.
“That’s been the most humbling thing for me. In my head, I sound amazing and then I turn around and her eyes are completely glazed over. I have no idea. We’ll see.”
None of us do, Pink. All we can do is what we think is best for our kids in the moment.
Adds Pink, in regard to her young children:
“I believe in affection. I believe in needs being met and faith being implemented, and I believe in letting your kids know they can count on you, and that you’ll be there.
“My parents did not believe in that and I worked out okay.
“I always tell Willow, ‘I’m going to teach you the rules so that you’ll know how and when to break them.”
This honor comes on the heels of Pink knocking her national anthem out of the park at the Super Bowl in February.
Watch this incredible performance below:
With this distinction, meanwhile, Pink joins quite the impressive group.
Do you think she deserves it? Is the The Most Beautiful Woman in the World?
Julia Roberts was awarded Most Beautiful in the World by People last year for the fifth time.
In 2016, Jennifer Aniston earned the title, which People started hanging out back in 1990, with Michelle Pfeiffer taking home the inaugural title.
Like we said: quite the impressive group.
Go back in time and relive each woman who has risen above the rest, starting with Pfeiffer and ending here with Pink, on the following gorgeous photo gallery:

Pink Sings National Anthem: Grade It!
Super Bowl 52 pitted the New England Patriots against the Philadelphia Eagles.
But music fans went into Sunday night less focused on the battle on the field and more focused on the battle within Pink"s immune system.
That"s because the beloved singer fell ill the week prior to the biggest performance of her life, taking to midfield prior to the big game in order to belt out the Star-Spangled Banner.
It was unclear at times whether Pink would even be able to go through with the performance.
But go through with it she did, alright!
The Grammy-winner didn"t ascend into the air, as she so often does while singing a song in front of a major audience.
Instead, she donned star-shaped earrings, a silver outfit and did the country"s theme song proud.
Odds in Las Vegas set the over/under on the time of Pink"s rendition at two minutes, with many assuming she would be unable to last that long due to the aforementioned sickness.
"Ummm. I’m singing the national anthem and the EAGLES ARE PLAYING?!?!?! IS THIS FOR REAL?!?!?!THATS WHASSUP!!!!!!!!" Tweeted the Philadelphia fan prior to the game, hilariously adding:
"Shtjtkd widnamc ckamcnsnzncbx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wooohooooooooooooioooooooooooooooooooooooooiiiiiiooooooooooo."
So… how did she do?

Pink Hits Back After Grammys President Tells Women to "Step Up"
The 2018 Grammy’s were on Sunday, and do you know who took home the gold? A whole bunch of dudes.
The gender disparity between extremely talented women who were nominees and the men who won Grammys was so significant that some people started referring to #GrammysSoMale — a nod to the #OscarsSoWhite criticisms in recent years.
The Recording Academy President said that women needed to “step up,” and that prompted Pink — who has been stepping up for her entire career — to speak out.
Viewers couldn’t help but notice that there were some serious snubs at the Grammys.
Okay, one of them was Jay-Z, whose 4:44 album made headlines. But some felt that it was right that he not be celebrated for an album all about how he cheated on Beyonce to absurd lengths.
Viewers wanted to know where the heck Lorde was.
Lorde, extraordinarily accomplished for any age but particularly for a 21-year-old who was still in high school when the world fell in love with her music, was the only Album Of The Year nominee who was not invited to perform solo. Which was absurd and insulting.
And then, though Kesha’s powerful performance of “Praying” wowed audiences, Kesha didn’t win. Neither did Lady Gaga or Lorde.
Ed Sheeran won for what many felt was a mediocre song about some woman’s body. Bruno Mars swept up the awards.
Was it fair, or were men held to lower standards than women?
The Recording Academy President, Neil Portnow, responded to criticism by saying:
“It has to begin with … women who have the creativity in their hearts and souls, who want to be musicians, who want to be engineers, producers, and want to be part of the industry on the executive level …”
And here’s his advice:
“[They need] to step up because I think they would be welcome.”
Which … seems to miss the point. Women aren’t asking for a boost above their level of talent. People just want their talent to be recognized and honored.
Though he has the audacity to tell incredibly accomplished women to “step up,” he at least has the insight to acknowledge that he’s speaking from a place of privilege.
“I don’t have personal experience of those kinds of brick walls that you face.”
Clearly.
“I think it’s upon us — us as an industry — to make the welcome mat very obvious, breeding opportunities for all people who want to be creative and paying it forward and creating that next generation of artists.”
Maybe this is just subjective, and the Grammy voters just happen to prefer Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars’ voices … somehow.
But it seems like an odd coincidence that they just happen to overwhelmingly enjoy dude voices despite such massive displays of female talent.
In a handwritten note shared to Twitter, Pink wrote:
“Women don’t need to ‘step up’ — women have been stepping since the beginning of time.”
Yep.
“Stepping up and also stepping aside.”
Referring to how women so often forego recognition so that men can give a speech and take home an award. Even if those men are less talented.
“Women owned music this year. They’ve been killing it.”
She’s right about that.
“And every year before this.”
She talks about how important it is for women’s accomplishments to be acknowledged instead of sidelined.
“When we celebrate and honor the talents and accomplishments of women, and how much women step up every year, against all odds …”
Which they really do. In light of those #MeToo stories, it’s almost astonishing how many women remain in the industry instead of running for their lives.
“We show the next generation of women and girls and boys and men what it means to be equal and what it looks like to be fair.”
Again, she says fair. She’s not asking for special awards for the sake of giving out awards.
But many Grammys viewers feel that anyone who claims that they just happen to enjoy Sheeran or Mars more than they liked Lorde’s album or Kesha’s is perhaps lying to themselves.
Again, music is subjective, we suppose. But seeing such a massive gender disparity raises some eyebrows. Pink has a point.

Kelly Clarkson & Pink are About to Make You Cry. All the Tears.
Kelly Clarkson and Pink are about to make you cry.
Not out of sadness, however.
Out of beautiful emotion.
The superstar solo artists joined forces on Sunday night at the American Music Awards for a duet that opened the yearly ceremony.
But this performance was unlike exciting openers in the past because it centered on a somber note in honor of all affected by recent mass shootings and other national tragedies.
Marking the first time they ever sang side by side on stage, Clarkson and Pink sang an emotional cover of R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts.”
It"s a sad ballad that is also meant to make everyone feel less alone in life.
We understand how much certain things hurt, Clarkson and Pink are basically saying with this rendition. But please remember that you aren"t alone
"I love Kelly Clarkson," Pink said just last month on Bravo"s Watch What Happens Live. "If I did a song with Kelly Clarkson I would get outsung."
Well, sure.
But that"s the case for like 99.99999% of the world"s population, too.
“This year, more than perhaps any other in recent history, we needed the power of music to help us escape the news of the day,” host Jamie Foxx said while introducing the beloved artists.
He added:
“We needed that power of music to help us heal from hurricanes, wild fires, hate, hatred-fueled violence: 2017 is the year that tested our faith. At these moments of crises, heroes emerge.”
After thanking the first responders, he concluded:
“As this year comes to a close we look forward to 2018 with hope. For, even as we mourn those who were lost, we know this:
"Together our strength will pull us through. Together we shall overcome the pain. Together we can unite as a people and as a nation.”
Amen, right, readers?
On a night that also saw Selena Gomez stir up some controversy and many singers take home awards, this number really stood out.

Did Pink Throw Shade at Christina Aguilera AMA Performance?
Despite a questionable viral GIF, Pink says she has mad love, not bad blood, for Christina Aguilera‘s Whitney Houston tribute Sunday.
After the above shot of Pink watching Aguilera’s performance at the 2017 American Music Awards went viral, fans jumped all over her.
Many commented that, with z deeply furrowed brow and cringey-grimmace expression, Pink didn’t look impressed with her fellow pop star.
Not the case, she says.
Pink took to Twitter to slam those who live to start drama, saying that her expression was indeed that of disbelief – in a positive sense.
"Yes. THIS. Christina f—ing killed it tonight for one of our favorite singers ever. This about Whitney, and I am in awe of Christina’s talent."
Adding that one GIF doesn"t tell the story, she further admonished the Internet: "Show the clip where I’m in tears, you negative Nancys.”
To be fair, some observers referenced the long-standing drama between the two singers, so there was sort of a basis for the assumption.
Refuting those claims, Pink re-tweeted Fuse TV’s Mark Sundstrom: “@Pink and @Xtina deaded their beef last year and have been FRIENDS since.
"Respecting each other’s amazing talent as grown women. stop creating something out of nothing@TheShadyFacts."
Seriously people. That s–t is deaded.
Although they feuded in their youth, that was ages ago, and they made amends; Pink and Christina teamed up on The Voice in 2016.
“She’s so talented and deep down I’ve had bad days, too,” Pink revealed in October. “She’s a really sweet person. We made up on The Voice."
"I mean, it was funny, I laughed," Pink, 38, said of Christina, 36. "I hadn’t seen her in years and years and years.”
As for how they managed to move on?
“We became moms. We grew up. We hugged it out. It’s that simple. I feel so good about that,” Pink added.
Wow. That"s way too mature for 2017.
Aguilera"s Whitney Houston medley commemorated the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard was generally well received.
Concerned about only one singer"s opinion, she tweeted, “I hope I did you proud Whitney,” she said. “Love you forever.”
Watch below and see if she did …

Pink: Hell Yes I Threw Shade at Kim Kardashian!
Doesn’t it feel like it’s been at least a decade since Kim Kardashian shared that nude selfie that everybody lost their minds over?
Over here in reality, it’s only been a year and a half, but so much has happened since then that it feels like it’s been practically a lifetime.
Kylie and Khloe are pregnant, a surrogate is pregnant with Kim’s third child, the world is probably going to end any day now …
Like, does time even mean anything anymore? Does anything mean anything anymore?
All existential crises aside though, Kim really did post that nude selfie in March of 2016, and soon after posting it, she got a whole, whole lot of criticism for it.
She got so much criticism that she actually got into a feud with Bette Midler, who reacted to the photo by tweeting “If Kim wants us to see a part of her we’ve never seen, she’s gonna have to swallow the camera.”
“Hey @BetteMidler,” Kim replied, “I know it’s past your bedtime but if you’re still up and reading this send nudes #justkidding.”
That would have been cute, but a few minutes after that she added “Hey @BetteMidler I really didn’t want to bring up how you sent me a gift a while back trying to be a fake friend then come at me #dejavu.”
Queen Bette told her “I never tried to fake friend you. Looks like anyone can take a selfie but not everyone can take a joke.”
Another person that went after Kim — or possibly went after her, anyway, she never named names — was Pink.
While everyone was talking about the selfie, Pink tweeted a note that read “Shout out to all of the women, across the world, using their brains, their strength, their work ethic, their talent, their ‘magic’ that they were born with, that only they possess.”
“It may not ever bring you as much ‘attention’ or bank notes as using your body, your sex, your tits and asses, but women like you don’t need that kind of ‘attention."”
“In the quiet moments,” she wrote, “you will feel something deeper than the fleeting excitement resulting from attention, you will feel something called pride and self respect.”
“Keep on resisting the urge to cave. You’ll never have to make silly excuses for yourself.”
But why are we bringing all this up again when it all happened so long ago?
Because Pink recently made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen … and she finally admitted that yes, her message was directed at Kim!
“Honestly, she went in on Bette Midler,” Pink explained when asked about the matter. “And if you go in on Bette Midler, you’re probably going to hear from me.”
“Don’t talk to Bette Midler ever,” she added. “About anything.”
So it seems like Pink was simply defending Bette against Kim, which is honestly pretty adorable, right?
She said that she did it because Bette is her “everything,” and she even recounted a magical moment in which she and Bette performed “The Rose” together.
Can we hear more about this and less about that tired old nude selfie?
Please?

Pink on Christina Aguilera Beef: She Tried to Punch Me!
There"s so much talk about Katy Perry vs. Taylor Swift these days that it"s easy to forget the current queens of pop aren"t the first to wage all-out war against one another.
That honor probably belongs to a couple greasy-haired dudes who got in a fight backstage at The Ed Sullivan Show, but who cares about them?
We want to rewind a bit, but not all the way back to the days when people paid money for music, like freakin" barbarians.
This story takes us back to the early 2000s, a time when many Americans innocently thought we"d elected the biggest jackass president this country would ever know.
In 2001, Pink, Christina Aguilera, Lil Kim, and Mya all collaborated on a cover of "Lady Marmalade" for the soundtrack to Moulin Rouge, aka The One Where Nicole Kidman Tried to Sing.
Apparently, the former two got into a disagreement about who would sing what part, and there was very nearly a physical altercation.
Pink has since attained the status of living legend, while Christina spent some time on that show with the spinning chairs.
Anyway, Pink appeared on Watch What Happens Live last night, where she told Andy Cohen about the time that Christina tried to punch her:
“We were super young and super new at the whole thing, and I think I’m an alpha, and she’s an alpha,” she said during the show"s "Plead the Fifth" segment.
“I’m used to taking my altercations physical and she’s used to having them verbal. We’re just very different, we’re very different. And we were very young and new.”
Unable to suppress laughter, Pink added:
"She swung on me in a club. Hilarious … I was like, "What"s happening?""
Pink says she and X-tina are "fine" these days, which is something Aguilera should be very happy about.
That would"ve been a severely one-sided fight.
