Anna Faris: BRUTALLY Body-Shamed Over New Photo

As if divorcing Chris Pratt didn’t suck enough, Anna Faris is now facing a new trial in life after she shared a seemingly innocuous picture.

Faris, of all people, was targeted by body-shamers who flooded her social media with negative comments.

The trolling was so severe that she deleted the photo almost instantly.

“Having pre-show jitters,” Anna Faris confessed on social media after sharing the now-deleted photo you’re about to see.

“So glad Michael Sherman captured it,” she wrote with a hint of sarcasm.

Sherman is her Unqualified podcast assistant.

“Also,” Faris added. “I eventually decided to put on pants.”

It’s understandable that she would put it off — who wears pants unless they absolutely have to?

Unfortunately, it was not her lack of leg-prisons … sorry, her lack of pants … that grasped the attention of followers.

It was her legs and especially her thighs which, mostly visible, revealed that she has very slender legs and a significant thigh gap.

“You look so unhealthy,” one troll wrote, before instructing her: “Eat.”

Unfortunately, that was not the only comment — just an example.

She was bombarded by an onslaught of body-shaming from hateful trolls.

TMZ reports that Faris ended up deleting the photo after only 15 minutes.

That is heartbreaking.

Some celebrities merely choose to deactivate comments if the hateful vitriol becomes too much.

These days, celebrities are more accessible than ever before, and people who want to feel a sense of control will lash out at them to deliberately hurt their feelings.

It looks like it worked, this time. Anna Faris does not deserve this.

Anna Faris on The Talk

Faris may have been backstage for her appearance on The Talk on Tuesday.

“Here’s the thing,” Faris confessed. “I feel really guilty that I wasn’t more anxious” about sending her son, Jack, to kindergarten.

“Because it feels like all the other parents were very anxious,” she explains.

“And the kindergarten teachers are like, ‘Ah, is everything going to be OK?"” when speaking to the nervous parents.

“And I felt like…can’t we just drop him off?” she says.

“Chris and I walked him there and we were trying to not transfer any, you know, hint of anxiety,” Faris shares.

She and her now-ex husband did the right thing, though Faris notes: “not that I was having it.”

Jack followed their lead, she says: “He just ran in and he was like, ‘Bye guys!"”

“But it was that funny mom guilt feeling,” she explains.

This was a sensation “of like, I feel like this should emotionally tug at me more than it is.”

It sounds like they did a good job of instilling confidence in Jack.

We just hope that Faris isn’t reeling from the hateful backlash.

Social media can be an amazing tool to keep friends connected and to make new friends. People can exchange art and ideas.

Unfortunately, the worst people on the planet are also on social media, and they would like nothing more than to ruin someone’s day.

Anna Faris’ legs can be as thick or thin as she likes, and that is none of our business. Period.

Kim Kardashian Gets Body-Shamed By Tyson Beckford, Fires Back With Homophobic Insult

It’s one of the most random celebrity feuds in recent memory, and it’s got Twitter divided as to how far is too far when one is clapping back at a hater.

It all started when Tyson Beckford commented on an Instagram photo that showed Kim Kardashian walking into Jimmy Kimmel’s studio for an appearance on his show earlier this week.

Kim K Shade Room

“Sorry I don’t care for it personally,” he commented, as though anyone had asked his opinion.

“She is not real, doctor f–ked up on her right hip.”

Now, Kim has been denying plastic surgery rumors for the entirety of her career, so it’s not surprising that she took issue with Beckford’s remark.

It is surprising, however, that she chose to malign a marginalized segment of the population in her rebuttal.

“Sis we all know why you don’t care for it,” Kim replied on Instagram.

Kim Kardashian-Tyson Beckford

Just in case there was any confusion with regard to her intentions, Kim made added the usual shade-throwing emojis:

A brush painting fingernails, a frog, a tea cup — all combining to evoke the image of a bitchy Kermit cutting his critics down to size with a single offhand remark.

Generally, those who stand up to online bullies are applauded for their courage.

But Kim’s comment has raised some serious concerns.

Obviously, she’s implying that Beckford is not interested in her sexually because he’s gay.

Setting aside the troublingly hubristic assumption that if someone doesn’t want to bed you, it must be because of their sexual orientation, it’s problematic that Kim seems to think that accusing Beckford of being a closeted gay man amounts to an insult.

Beckford addressed Kim’s comments in an Instagram story, but opted not to remark on the allegations of homophobia.

“Despite what @TheShadeRoom might be tryna say, my opinion on women who do plastic surgery stays the same, not for me!

“I personally don’t care for it! End of story.”

Just in case anyone doubted that he’s an incredible douche bag, Beckford added:

“Always gonna pick a Beyonce over anyone else.”

Yes, it’s one of those sad situations in which both parties come away looking like jerks.

Obviously, there’s a debate to be had over who comes off worse here.

But the fact that both Kim and Tyson have a whole lot of growing up to do is inarguable.

Do better, y’all.

Kelly Ripa: Body-Shamed (Hard!) for This Bikini Pic

Call us crazy.

Say we’re going out on a major limb here, but we still feel a need to say it:

The Internet can be a very cruel place.

No, really. It’s true!

Just take the case of Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, for example.

The long-time couple were out and about on the beach over the weekend, having a swell time in the sun, snapping pictures and sharing them on social media.

At one point, Consuelos took a photo of his 47-year old wife in a two-piece bathing suit and wrote as a caption:

“Sultry Sundays with the sexy one are my fave,” he wrote.

Pretty sweet, right?

And, based on the snapshot itself right here, pretty accurate, right?

Looking damn fine, Kelly Ripa!

The pair’s Instagram affection continued from there, with Ripa and Consuelos posting beach shots together in their Instagram stories, simply adding “#daddy” and “Yep” as captions.

Considering the stars have been married since 1996 and have three kids, it’s refreshing to see that they remain so in love and so attracted to each other.

It’s refreshing to us, at least.

To others, apparently, it’s the basis for some serious body-shaming.

mark/kelly

What follows is a sampling of actual comments left by actual social media users who really may need to get a life or find a hobby — or both!

She has the body of a 12-year-old boy. Guess ‘sexy’ is a matter of opinion. She is adorable, but …

Kelly’s gorgeous, but isn’t there a cutoff age where age appropriateness comes into play?

Just because you can rock a bikini, doesn’t mean you should. When you have teenagers whose friends can ogle pictures, then it’s creepy.

She has a guy’s figure.

Her body is nothing to be proud of.

We really wish we were making these critiques up.

But this is sort of stuff some people really take the time to think of and write online.

Nobody is immune to this sort of shaming, either, not even buff men such as Stephen Amell.

It makes us very sad to consider, but then we get all happy again when we remember how these strong women (and men!) often fight back against the loser trolls.

Take the following cases, for instance, and then go from being angry to being inspired.

Simply put: yo go, stars!

Karrueche Tran Speaks Out After Being Body-Shamed!

Karrueche Tran, who is famously gorgeous (she’s a model, you guys), got body-shamed after posting a pair of jaw-dropping bikini selfies.

We’ve seen a lot of body-shaming over the years, but this might be the most ridiculous example that we’ve ever seen.

If you’re trying to hurt the feelings of a knockout like Karrueche, we guess that you really have to reach to find something to nitpick … but looking at these photos and claiming that she “has no ass” is absurd.

Obviously, Karrueche is moving past a dark chapter in her life.

She was in a relationship with that infamous monster, Chris Brown.

You know, the one who should have been imprisoned for life (at least) back in 2009 for beating up Rihanna but is nonetheless free and clear to live his life and continue his career.

Because our society is as forgiving as our legal system is inept.

Well, Chris Brown is accused of beating Karrueche, too.

While this is no surprise to us, let’s be clear that it’s not Karrueche’s fault.

Abuse is literally always the fault of the abuser.

These days, though, Karrueche has a restraining order against Chris Brown and she’s just trying to live her life.

Which makes this story even sadder.

Karrueche Tran shared this gorgeous mirror selfie, of herself in a bikini.

Any decent person would have been appreciative or even grateful.

Many of her fans and followers were.

But a very vocal minority of trolls descended upon her Instagram comments to body-shame her.

Their baseless claim was that she “has no ass.’

Look at her mirror belfie, where her ass is clearly right there.

We don’t claim to be butt experts (assperts?) but … Karrueche’s butt actually looks perfect.

Not only does she look picture-perfect, she seems to exactly fit a figure that’s considered conventionally attractive.

Karrueche sadly saw the comments left by these hateful beasts and commented on it on Twitter.

“Y’all shame natural bodies but praise fake ones.”

That’s sad but true.

“If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all.”

That adage may be old as all get-out, but when it comes to Instagram comments, it’s right.

“Keep your negative vibes to yourself. If you don’t like what you see then keep it pushing.”

That just means, you know, move on.

“Point is, constant judgment makes it hard for people to love and accept themselves and that’s wrong.”

She’s absolutely right.

Honestly, a lot of celebrities get all sorts of wildly inappropriate comments.

Some from people who don’t imagine that the celebrity will ever see them.

Others from people who desperately want attention (even if it’s negative), or to feel powerful in the knowledge that perhaps they ruined a famous person’s day.

And then there’s “positive” replies, often on Twitter.

You can reply to a thirst trap with “oh my” or “wow!” or whatever.

Please don’t reply with something crude, though. That’s sexual harassment, and no better than body-shaming.

Can we all just … be better?

Big Brother Recap: Who Body-Shamed Josh Martinez?

The pots and pans came out in full force on the latest episode of Big Brother, and Josh was served a nice little dose of his own medicine.

We picked up relatively quickly after the veto meeting in what seemed to be a much-need reprieve for Cody.

The error in Cody’s game was attempting to back door Paul all the way back in week one. He had an alliance agreeing with everything he said, and his blatant feud with Paul saw him turning his back on his alliance.

In turn, he never regained trust with them, and that’s why he was swiftly voted out of the game. But, in true Big Brother fashion, there were some twists thrown in that allowed him to return and canoodle with Jessica.

With Jessica gearing up to be evicted from the game, she worried about what Cody would do next, and an offer from Kevin appeared out of nowhere.

Kevin thought it would be a good move to ask Jessica about the potential of Cody working with him, Jason, Paul, and Alex.

Jessica seemed like she was glad he would have someone to work with, but Cody was adamant to Jess that the rest of his time in the house would consist of preventing every one of the other houseguests from winning a dime.

Kevin kicked his plan into high gear and approached Cody with Jason by his side, and Cody made it clear the showmances were high on his hit list.

This was music to Kevin’s ears, but Jason was taken aback by how pushy Kevin was about the whole thing and turned to Alex and Paul to spill the goodies.

Both Alex and Paul have never liked Cody and part of the reason for that is because of his unpredictability. They know Cody would turn on them the first chance he gets, so they are not about to join an alliance with him.

They did not need to worry about calling the alliance off because Jessica had one last fight in her with Josh. In the kitchen, she asked him to spell “Drought.”

He passes the challenge and chants that he has a business degree and his own business. So, he was irate at being challenged by Jessica. She went outside with Cody to enjoy her final rays from the garden of the summer.

Paul then gave Josh a comeback to go and taunt Jessica with. Paul tells him to ask her to spell “Evicted.”

Cody flips the eff out at his woman being put on the spot and calls Josh a fat-ass. Josh stands his ground and says there’s no need to make it all personal.

Cody continues his tirade of terror, and Josh retreats to the HOH room in tears. For those of you who do not watch the live feeds, the CBS edits of the episode seem to make Josh look like a saint.

On the feeds, he has been taunting Jess and Cody for a long time, and the rest of the house is just as bad. They’ve been egging him on like little school children.

The best example was when the fight was kicking off, Alex was in the kitchen jumping with joy that another fight was going to take place. If it’s a fight that involves her, she gets all defensive and ends it.

That side of the house is using Josh to rattle their targets, and it’s coming across as playground bullying.

In the speeches, Jessica claimed Cody did not ruin her game and that everyone should go after Paul because he’s winning the whole thing if he stays in much longer.

  • Alex votes to evict…Jessica

  • Christmas votes to evict…Jessica

  • Cody votes to evict…Raven

  • Kevin votes to evict…Jessica

  • Paul votes to evict…Jessica

  • Mark votes to evict…Jessica

  • Matt votes to evict…Jessica

  • Jason votes to evict…Jessica

Jessica was evicted by a vote of 7-1-0, with Elena being the only person on the block to not have any votes against her.

Josh immediately mocks Jessica and breaks into song as Cody carries his Princess to the door of the house.

While Jessica is on her way out the door, Christmas made a timely comment that everyone had made it to the jury.

Jessica definitely heard, but it didn’t faze her. She was done with the game, and she was leaving with a boyfriend.

Julie pushed to find out why Jessica stopped fighting to stay. She revealed that she had been lied to through the whole process and it was not worth her time.

She could not get a solid answer out of anyone, and was always the last to hear the facts.

The next Head of Household competition found the houseguests watching a magic show, before answering true or false to the questions.

  • Question 1: Everyone is right.

  • Question 2: Mark, Kevin, Jason, and Paul are out.

  • Question 3: Everyone is right.

  • Question 4: Christmas is out.

  • Question 5: Cody, Elena, and Matt are out.

  • Question 6: Raven is out

That means Alex is the new HOH, and Paul is essentially in power for another week. Sigh.

Julie confirmed to the houseguests that the jury would not include a battle back, so when people are out this time, it’s the end of the game for them.

She then opened up to the audience about next week including a double eviction and a special Friday episode.

Okay, so we’re in for another week of Mark, Elena, and Cody on the block unless one of them wins the temptation challenge.

Hopefully, the double eviction amps up the drama because things are getting rather predictable.

What do you think of all the events?

Sound off below!

Ariel Winter: Body-Shamed by Nikki Blonsky?!

You know how there’s sort of been this trend lately where people pick on Ariel Winter for the clothes she decides to wear in public?

It’s pretty strange, huh?

Sure, it’s always fun to talk about celebrity fashion, and being a little catty never hurt anyone, but it’s like people have taken it to a whole different level when it comes to Ariel.

She’s a young woman with insane curves who likes to wear short shorts and crop tops and bikinis … what’s the problem?

Seriously, why isn’t everyone so thankful for her wardrobe?

She’s not breaking any decency laws, she’s just showing off her body — which, as a reminder, is her body to show as she pleases.

But still, if you check out her social media accounts, each and every post is full of comments calling her a “whore,” insinuating that she actually is a prostitute, and worse.

It’s depressing.

Ariel can’t even get a break from her own co-stars now.

See, our girl here recently worked on a movie called Dog Years. It’s a drama that will be released later this year, and it also stars Burt Reynolds and Nikki Blonsky?

Remember Nikki Blonsky? The girl from Hairspray?

She starred as Tracy Turnblad in the delightful movie musical in 2007, and she really was wonderful, but unfortunately she didn’t get much work after that.

That seems to be changing now, which is great.

But in an interview she did with TooFab to promote the upcoming film, she made a few comments about Ariel that aren’t so great.

When asked about the criticism Ariel’s been receiving, she said “She’s so young and she’s so beautiful and so talented and she’s got a great body, and she should be able to wear what she wants.”

“Granted, yes, there are children in the world, so cover up a little bit, but she works hard for her body.”

“If she goes to the beach,” Nikki continued, “and if she wants to wear a bikini and take a picture of it, I think because she’s on a very famous show, people think they can say whatever they want.”

“And it’s gotta be hard for her,” she admitted, “but she’s a strong chick and I love her.”

“I actually think she’s gonna be an awesome role model for girls who wanna live in their body and have fun.”

Nikki, Nikki, Nikki …

One issue is that while it’s true that Ariel is beautiful and has a great body, that’s not why she should be allowed to wear what she wants.

She should be allowed to wear what she wants because she’s an adult who isn’t doing anything wrong, you know?

And there are a million other things more harmful for children to see in this world than a woman’s legs in short shorts or a little bit of side boob.

A little bit of side boob never hurt nobody.

We’re sure Nikki means well, and we’re excited to see her make a comeback, but we’re also sure that Ariel doesn’t need another person telling her to cover up.

Tess Holliday Gets Body-Shamed by an Uber Driver, Reacts Like a Boss

Tess Holliday is a gift to this world, let"s just be real about that.

She"s absolutely stunning, for one, but her beauty isn"t only on the outside.

Tess, as a plus-size model, has always been very outspoken on how ridiculous traditional beauty standards are, why body-shaming should never happen, and why we should all just let people live.

Unfortunately, she still has to deal with body-shaming on a regular basis.

Just this week, it turns out, she experienced it while using Uber. We know because she got on Instagram to tell us the whole weird story.

And also to send a pretty pointed message to the company in question.

"Hey @uber," she began her post. "I don"t pay more to use your "black car" service to be told that there"s no way I could possibly be healthy because I"m fat & then questioning it."

"No one should have to tolerate this at any level of the services you offer."

"I"m fat," she wrote. "I also have a fat wallet & will no longer be using your services. Ever."

"Also after I told him I was healthy he turned the radio off & changed the subject."

She added a video from the incident, which you can see below. In it, the driver, who she points out is overweight himself, asks her about her cholesterol, like it is even a tiny bit of his business.

Still, she told him "My cholesterol"s fine, I"m perfect. Yep, I am healthy."

And then, because the world can be a terrible place full of terrible people and so much sadness and shame, Tess was criticized in the comments of the video because she called her driver "fat."

She edited her caption to explain that "Saying my driver is fat was obviously being used as a descriptor & not to insult him."

"Also I did not show his face or use his name when filming, it was to be able to show what I deal with daily & why this behavior is unacceptable from anyone."

It makes sense — she refers to herself as "fat" all the time, and she clearly uses it as an adjective and not an insult.

And still, even after that, the comments were flooded with people slamming her for boycotting Uber because of this one driver, and for "overreacting" to this man"s questions.

It"s all just so, so dumb.

This guy had absolutely no reason to ask Tess about her cholesterol or about her health, because it"s not his business. She paid him to drive her, her health is not his concern.

See some of the questioning Tess experienced in the video below:

Amy Schumer: Brutally Body-Shamed by Swimsuit Designer!

Amy Schumer just can’t catch a break when it comes to strangers talking trash about her body.

How sad is it that this is the world we live in?

Amy is just out there, trying to live her life, trying to do what she loves, and trying to be proud of her body and the way she looks, and at every turn, somebody has something nasty to say.

It’s ridiculous, it’s pitiful, and you know it’s happened again.

See, Amy just did a lovely new cover for InStyle, you can see it above. She’s wearing a nice white swimsuit, and looking just delightful.

InStyle shared the cover on their Instagram account, where a swimsuit designer named Dana Duggan took issue with it.

“Come on now!” she wrote. “You could not find anyone better for this cover? Not everyone should be in a swimsuit.”

… Sorry, what? Not everyone should be in a swimsuit?

Only perfectly proportioned size 2 types are allowed to swim now, is that what she’s saying? Or do average-sized people like Amy have to swim in tents or something?

When Dana was accused of fat-shaming Amy, she responded with “I am not fat shaming anyone. She is a self proclaimed Cabbage Patch Kid. She fat shames herself in her comedy routine.”

Some ridiculous human being commented that putting “plus size models” on magazine covers “gives many women an excuse to continue an unhealthy lifestyle that will eventually lead to chronic disease in most cases.”

And Dana replied with a nice “Thank you!”, because obviously Amy is on her way to becoming the next Mama June.

“I an have my opinion and you can have yours,” she explained. “It’s called Freedom of Speech. I’m not judging. Just stating my opinion.”

But she also said that her company doesn’t make “plus size swimsuits” like the kind Amy would apparently wear, and she added that Amy looks “like a pig,” so we’d say there’s a good chance she actually is judging.

Dana even did a few interviews about her opinions, stating “I’m tired of the media and publications trying to push the FAT agenda. It’s not healthy and it’s not pretty.”

“What is wrong with featuring healthy and fit cover models?”

Gee, Dana, it’s hard to say. What is wrong with your disgusting attitude?

Some questions we’ll just never know the answer to, it seems.

While the vast majority of Instagram users took issue with Dana’s statements, it’s probably safe to say that Amy herself isn’t too bothered by it all.

She said it best herself: “Is it fat-shaming if you know you’re not fat and have zero shame in your game? I don’t think so.”

“I am strong and proud of how I live my life and say what I mean and fight for what I believe in and I have a blast doing it with the people I love,” she added.

“Where’s the shame? It’s not there. It’s an illusion.”

In that amazing message, she finished with “My deepest sympathy goes out to the trolls who are in more pain that we will ever understand.”

Sorry ‘bout it, Dana.

Alana Thompson: Sugar Bear Body-Shamed Me!

Alana Thompson, AKA Honey Boo Boo, AKA the spawn of Mama June and Sugar Bear, has a sad, sad story to tell.

She"s been back in the spotlight since her mother, Mama June Shannon, got herself a brand new television show to document her incredible weight loss.

The finale of Mama June: From Not to Hot airs tomorrow night, so June and Alana have been making the rounds, doing interview after interview.

And in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Alana reveals that she"s been body-shamed by her own father.

How could you, Sugar Bear?!

Seriously, after taking Alana to a restaurant and letting her order literally every dessert on the menu, how could you?

Alana says that she was talking to her dad on the phone when he mentioned he needed to mow his lawn.

She offered to do it for him if he had a riding lawn mower, but he responded by telling her "You"re gonna need a push mower "cause it couldn"t hurt."

Look, if he thinks Alana needs to lose weight, he can provide her with a different diet. He could offer to do some fun physical activities with her.

Making remarks like that don"t help anyone, and at 11, Alana"s at a very sensitive age.

Sugar Bear should be ashamed of himself, but seeing as how he apparently doesn"t have much to do with his daughter anymore, he"s probably not all that capable of feeling shame.

See the sad interview in the video below:

12 Times Donald Trump Has Body-Shamed Celebrities

Donald Trump is not the nicest of people.

A common hobby of his is trashing people about their looks.

Mostly, his comments are about women, but as you"ll find out in the following gallery, he likes to trash men, too.

Have a look at the gallery below.

1. Alicia Machado

Alicia machado on the trail

Miss Universe 1996 revealed that she developed an eating disorder after then-pageant boss complained about her body. She was forced to excercise in front of reporters and a camera crew. Trump commented at the time, “This is somebody who likes to eat.” When Hillary Clinton brought the incident up recently, but Trump was defiant and refused to apologize. “She gained a massive amount of weight, and it was a real problem.”

2. Rosie O’Donnell

Rosie photograph

“You take a look at her, she’s a slob. She talks like a truck driver, she doesn’t have her facts, she’ll say anything that comes to her mind.” It’s pretty clear Donald Trump is not a fan of Rosie O’Donnell.

3. Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah was voted the “Unsexiest Woman Alive” by Maxim magazine in 2012. Trump agreed in a facebook post with his thumbs up.

4. Bette Midler

Bette midler snapshot

Bette Midler called the presidential candidate “he architect of ruination of the West Side” and trashed his hair, Trump replied with, “[she] talks about my hair but I’m not allowed to talk about her ugly face or body — I wont. Is this a double standard?”

5. Angelina Jolie

Jolie

In 2007, Donald was asked about Jolie’s troubled relationship with her father Jon Voight. “I really understand beauty. And I will tell you, she’s not — I do own Miss Universe. I do own Miss USA. I mean, I own a lot of different things. I do understand beauty, and she’s not.”

6. Cher

Cher if i could turn back time

Cher took aim at Trump on Twitter when she tweeted he was a “Racist Cretin, who’d lie like ‘his rug’ to get some cheap press!” Trump replied with, “I don’t wear a ‘rug’ — it’s mine. And I promise not to talk about your massive plastic surgeries that didn’t work.” Classy.
