Donald Trump and Ted Cruz Make Out on RNC-Central Billboard
Donald Trump just selected Mike Pence to be his Vice President.
But it’s the interactions between this insane candidate for the Oval Office and another Republican that have folks talking today.
That’s because there’s a billboard up in Ohio of Trump making out with Ted Cruz.
We’re talking a near full-on game of tonsil hockey taking place between the former GOP rivals, although we’re also talking about an artist’s depiction of Trump and Cruz.
See, the billboard was put up by Planting Peace, a nonprofit organization behind The Equality House, which is a rainbow-colored resident that sits across the street from Westboro Baptist Church.
The best part?
The billboard is located in Cleveland, just five miles from the site of next week’s Republican National Convention.
“Love trumps Hate. End homophobia,” reads the large caption alongside the image of Trump and Cruz.
Aaron Jackson, President of Planting Peace, tells The Huffington Post that the large sign is a response to the Republican party’s messages of intolerance toward the LGBT community.
“What Donald, Ted and the Republican party either fail to realize, or realize and just don’t seem to care about, is that their words and actions toward our LGBT family – especially LGBT children – have meaning and impact,” Jackson says.
“LGBT children hear these messages telling them they are nothing but second class citizens and are left feeling broken or ‘less than.’”
It’s not really debatable that proposed GOP platform – which will be up for ratification by delegates at next week’s convention – is one of the most anti-gay platforms in political history.
According to CNN, it “opposes same-sex marriage rights, supports efforts to restrict bathrooms to individuals’ birth gender and protects businesses who refuse services to individuals based on religious objections to gay marriage.”
“When children are dying because of negative messages, then it’s time to change the message,” Jackson says, adding:
“Planting Peace calls for the immediate change in the Republican party platform with regard to our LGBT family and LGBT rights. Never again shall a negative, hateful message be uttered in the name of ‘religious freedom.’
“We are calling for action that brings full, fundamental rights to the LGBT community, and a narrative that empowers LGBT people to live and love freely.”

Rose McGowan SLAMS X-Men Billboard for Promoting Violence Against Women
A billboard for X-Men: Apocalypse is causing a major stir among critics, the most vocal of which is Rose McGowan.
The controversial billboard depicts Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse choking Jennifer Lawrence’s character Mystique in the movie.
While the X-Men films all contain plenty of destruction, citizens say this image, seen out of context, promotes violence against women.
In a Facebook post to The Hollywood Reporter, McGowan speaks out against the ad and the subtle yet powerful message it implies.
“There is a major problem when the men and women at 20th Century Fox think casual violence against women is the way to market a film,” she wrote.
“There is no context in the ad, just a woman getting strangled,” the actress continued. “The fact that no one flagged this is offensive and frankly, stupid.”
“The geniuses behind this, and I use that term lightly, need to to take a long hard look at the mirror and see how they are contributing to society.”
McGowan then compares the sexist poster to other forms of bigotry, like racism and homophobia – and she has a point.
“Imagine if it were a black man being strangled by a white man, or a gay male being strangled by a hetero?” she ask. “The outcry would be enormous.”
Although the premise of the comic book franchise is all about bad guys fighting good guys – and, ahem, gals – the isolated image of a man strangling a woman can be viewed as disturbing, especially if seen by children.
The actress shared a conversation a friend had with his 9-year-old daughter about the billboard.
“I’ll close with a text my friend sent, a conversation with his daughter. It follows: ‘My daughter and I were just having a deep discussion on the brutality of that hideous X-Men poster yesterday,"” she shared.
“‘Her words: ‘Dad, why is that monster man committing violence against a woman?’ This from a 9-year-old. If she can see it, why can’t Fox?”
Not an encouraging image for a little girl to see.
McGowan asked the studio to get rid of the billboard to avoid any potential further damage.
“So let’s right this wrong. 20th Century Fox, since you can’t manage to put any women directors on your slate for the next two years, how about you at least replace your ad?”
McGowan has not been shy about coming out against Hollywood sexism and misogyny.
Last year, she blasted Adam Sandler for including sexist requests on a casting call notice she received for one of his movies.

Britney Spears Gets SUPER Sexy: 2016 Billboard Music Awards
You guys, I think the old Britney has returned.
Evidence from last night confirms that Britney Spears – whose most memorable performance took place during the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards – has indeed gotten her sexy back.
Spears and her dancers brought the house down with a medley of different hits, including "Toxic," "Womanizer," "I"m A Slave 4 U," and "Breathe On Me."
Ok, enough chatter. Let"s look at her smokin" body in the gallery below.

2. Dancing Queen
3. Dead Sexy
4. This Is How You Leave Your Mark
5. Those Cheekbones Though
6. Where Is Your Thong-Over-Flared-Jeans???
Billboard Music Awards 2016: Watch the Performances!
Love was in the air at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, as Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton took to the stage for a memorable duet.
But sadness was also in the air because Madonna teamed up with Stevie Wonder to pay tribute to Prince.
Sexiness? Britney Spears had it covered. Political statements? Leave them to Demi Lovato.

Britney Spears Did Her 2000 VMAs Self Proud at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards
OHMYGODYOUREBACK!
Last night, Britney Spears performed a medley of her greatest hits at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards.
Wearing little more than fishnets and a few strands of sparkly red fabric, Brit KILLED IT on stage and reminded us of how unique the Brit of Yore once was.
She even made us LOLz a bit.
“After tonight… All I really want is a cheeseburger,” Spears posted to Instagram with a photo of her ridiculous body.
The show took place in Las Vegas, where Spears has a residency at Planet Hollywood. Last September, Spears announced that she’ll be staying on for two more years.
For those of you old enough to remember when the MTV Video Music Awards were awesome, I invite you to reminisce about Spears’ performance of “Oops!…I Did It Again” (with a “Satisfaction” intro that no one will ever forget) in 2000.
Sometimes when I think about trying to diet (again), I play the video and watch the late 90s/early naughts princess of pop essentially ruin it for everyone who planned to come after her.
Many have attempted to top it, no has succeeded.
Heidi Montag thought she may have nailed it when she dressed up like Spears at the 2009 Miss Universe Pageant and lip synced her way through “Body Language,” but she failed on so many accounts. FAILED!
True, Spears is notorious for lip syncing, but she’s better at dancing.
Christina Aguilera is better at singing, and we never expected her to do anything beyond making genie moves with her hands.
For either woman to try and top the other would upset the balance of nature.
It almost makes you forget what happened at the 2007 MTV VMAs; the then-troubled singer phoned in her performance of “Gimme More.”
It was horrific. You could almost see the cloudy haze of sedatives swirling around Spears’ head.
“The production people at MTV were freaking out. Nobody can tell Britney what to do anymore. No one can control her. She is a mess,” a source told the New York Post afterwards.
Prior to getting on stage, Spears got her buzz on.
“She went to her hotel and ordered a bunch of food and some margaritas,” the source said.
“She came down an hour later with a frozen margarita in her hand.”
The past is in the past. Let’s relive last night’s performance!
