Ben Affleck Intervention: Why Did Jennifer Garner Need a Bodyguard?
As you may have heard, Ben Affleck has checked into rehab to seek help for his ongoing issues with alcohol.
It’s the third time that the actor has sought treatment at an in-patient facility, and this time, he reportedly did so at the behest of his estranged wife, Jennifer Garner.
Insiders close to the situation say Garner was eventually able to usher Ben to the realization that he needs to get sober for the sake of his three children.
But apparently, it was not easy getting him to that point.
In the days leading up to Wednesday’s intervention, Affleck was spending time with Shauna Sexton, a Playboy model who has made no secret of her love of booze.
In interviews, Sexton has been effusive in her praise for whiskey, which would be perfectly fine — she’s young, and we have no reason to believe she has an issue with addiction — were it not for the fact that she’s dating an alcoholic.
Shortly after news of Affleck and Sexton’s relationship went public, Ben was spotted paying for a delivery from a liquor store near his home,
Sources close to the Oscar winner assured the press that the alcohol was for Shauna and friend, and Ben would not be partaking.
Still, the sight of a recovering drunk shouldering a box full of booze understandably raised some red flags for those who were already concerned for Ben.
The mother of Ben’s children was so upset by the reports of his relapse that she decided to stage an emergency intervention
“Garner was very emotional but decided to take the situation into her own hands,” an insider tells Entertainment Tonight.
The source adds that Garner “looked distraught” as she arrived at Ben’s home on Wednesday afternoon.
At one point, Garner left the residence and returned with a bodyguard, leading many to the conclusion that Ben became irate, possibly while intoxicated.
She later appeared frustrated and exhausted while making a stop at a nearby Jack In the Box drive-thru before driving Ben to the rehab facility.
“Jen is proud of the strides he’s made, but some of his friends were worried he might be taking some steps backward and could be on a slippery slope,” the source says.
“Ben wants nothing more than to get sober for his kids, for Jen and also for his career.”
For his part, Ben reportedly “realizes the dangers of what he could lose in life if he doesn’t stick to the program, and dedicate himself to these big changes.”
“Sadly, he also seemed to be putting himself in some unhealthy situations for someone who has plans to sustain a sober life,” the insider continues.
“Ben was back to staying out late and hanging with his old crowd.”
The tipster claims Jen had real reason to be concerned:
“Just the other night he was out late with a group of old friends and lots of women, all who were partying up a storm,” the source says.
“It’s truly worrisome for those who have seen him fall off the wagon in the past. The bottom line is he was going out again and hanging with drinkers, and it seems to have all happened too quickly.”
The insider says those closest to Ben became particularly concerned after his recent breakup with Lindsay Shookus, due to the fact that the SNL producer had been a stabilizing influence in his life.
“Lindsay was a huge support to Ben and he was doing really well. She truly helped him with his sobriety and Jen loved that he had a steady situation,” the source claims.
“Lindsay thought they had a future together, and she was a positive influence on him, but he felt tied down.”
Garner reportedly feels that this may be Ben’s last chance to kick his habit if he wants to continue to have a relationship with his children.
She’s reportedly held off on finalizing her divorce from Ben in hopes that he’ll get and stay sober so that an amicable custody deal can be arranged.
Another incentive may be the fact that Garner’s career is on the upswing, and she can no longer afford that negative press attention that her ex’s hard-partying lifestyle attracts.

Kylie Jenner Bodyguard Actually Addresses Stormi Paternity Rumor
Tim Chung would like to have a few words with the Internet.
Who, some of you may be wondering?
Tim Chung, the heretofore unknown bodyguard of Kylie Jenner who has become an Internet sensation of late for two reasons:
1. He’s very attractive.
2. He may be the biological father of Kylie’s daughter, Stormi Webster.
And, yes, we know what you’re thinking:
Wait, isn’t Tyga the biological father of Kylie’s daughter, Stormi Webster?!?
LOL, just kidding. (Even though this was also a rumor that spread around the Internet shortly after Kylie gave birth to her first child.)
For whatever reason, folks simply refuse to accept that Travis Scott is the person who impregnated Jenner…
… despite the rapper’s lengthy relationship with the star and despite photos of him at the hospital on the day Jenner became a mother.
They really think Tim Chung is the dad.
Is there any evidence behind this claim? Any rational reason to hold this belief?
Not really. Not at all, actually. But whatever, right?!? It’s fun to consider!
Not if you’re Tim Chung it isn’t.
This chatter has grown so strong and so loud that Chung actually issued a statement on Instagram in response to the rumor.
And he confirmed it!!!
Just kidding again.
“I am a very private person and would normally never answer to gossip and stories that are so ridiculous that they are laughable,” he wrote online, adding of this wild speculation:
“Out of deep respect for Kylie, Travis, their daughter together and their families, I would like to set the record straight that my interactions with Kylie and her family have been limited in strictly a professional capacity only.”
So he never got himself all up in there?
Not once?
“There is no story here and I ask that the media no longer include me in any narrative that is incredibly disrespectful to their family,” the bodyguard concluded.
Chung also said as a caption to the above screen capture that this will be his “first and last comment” on the topic.
Which we understand.
We can see how this has been an awkward situation for him to navigate, especially when his attention is supposed to simply be on keeping Kylie safe.
His defensive statement comes shortly after Instagram users flooded social media with side by side photos of Chung and Stormi to point out the resemblance they saw between employee and the three-month old.
During this same time period, Kylie and Scott made their red carpet debut as a couple, posing as follows at the 2018 MET Gala.
They don’t look like two people overly concerned with this rumor, do they?
But it took on a (funny!) life of its own over the past week, forcing Chung to step up and address it at last.
Still, even if he didn’t have sex with Kylie, it seems as if Chung could now have sex with, like, any single woman on the Internet.
One Twitter user recently looked at his photo and wrote:
“Whoooo is Kylie Jenner’s bodyguard AND WHY IS HE SO FINE.”
Another added: “Sorry I was late to work, I was busy reading about Kylie Jenners bodyguard on twitter.”
So don’t feel too bad for Tim Chung that he’s been at the center of this ongoing storm.

Just 14 weeks ago, Kylie Jenner welcomed her baby girl. She and Travis Scott clearly love their daughter.
But some have called into question sweet little Stormi’s paternity. Most recently, fans have discussed the possibility that Kylie’s hot bodyguard is her real baby daddy.
But apparently Kylie thinks that this is ridiculous.
TMZ reports that Kylie Jenner is dismissing fan speculation that bodyguard Tim Chung is her baby daddy.
And Kylie is said to be very confident — because she’s never slept with Chung.
It’s kind of difficult to have an unplanned pregnancy with someone you’ve never boned. Unless there’s some sort of elaborate conspiracy at play, which it is pretty safe to say that there is not.
Kylie reportedly thinks that the claims are “BS,” but it doesn’t sound like they’re keeping her awake at night because, well, they’re not true.
Sometimes, the truth is boring.
Speculation first emerged as Kylie shared new Stormi photos.
Kylie, Travis, and Stormi celebrated Travis’ 26th birthday in Turks and Caicos.
Some fans began to wonder if Stormi resembled Travis all that much.
Curiosity turned to investigation, and one fan on Twitter put forward the suggestion that perhaps Stormi had been conceived by Kylie’s conspicuously handsome bodyguard, Tim Chung.
Fans latched onto facial features that they perceived to be similar, noting that they saw no such parallels with Travis.
Obviously, rumors like this crop up all of the time for celebrities.
But this could potentially hurt Tim Chung.
Being mentioned is probably great for his modeling work.
And we imagine that any of his LAPD colleagues would tease him at most.
But his work as a bodyguard could be threatened by an accusation of paternity, even if the rumor did not begin maliciously.
He could potentially lose out on bodyguard work.
Of course, Tim Chung isn’t the only man who’s been accused of fathering Stormi.
From the day that the news leaked, fans wondered if Tyga was Kylie’s baby daddy.
Unlike Chung, Tyga and Kylie had actually had sex. A lot.
And the two had been together so recently before she dated Travis Scott that Travis was widely considered to be her rebound.
Tyga, however, shot down those rumors.
He said that he had never claimed paternity of Kylie’s baby and stressed that he was not the father.
Tyga also implored people to not fabricate stories about him.
The more that we learn about Tim Chung, the more that we’re glad that this rumor made more people aware of him.
The guy absolutely deserves to have his modeling career take off.
And Kylie’s fans are crushing on him, big time — which is probably why so many of them were so eager to imagine that she would have hooked up with him.
But remember, folks, that Kylie dated the much-older Tyga at 17. She got pregnant at 19 and became a mother at 20. Kylie doesn’t always make decisions like everyone else.
So projecting your thirst onto a celebrity who doesn’t think like you do is probably not going to lead you to the truth.
Like we said: sometimes, the truth is boring.

Tim Chung: Meet Kylie Jenner"s Bodyguard & Rumored Baby Daddy
Back in February, Kylie Jenner welcomed her first child, and despite the fact that she was in a committed relationship at the time, rumors about the child’s paternity have persisted ever since.
At first, it was widely reported that Kylie’s most recent ex, Tyga, might Stormi Webster’s father.
Those rumors were reportedly started by the rapper himself and are said to have been put to rest when Tyga submitted to a paternity test.
So we know that Stormi is definitively not a Tyga cub, but still there are those who doubt that Travis Scott is really the girl’s father.
Following the rumor mill M.O. now that the most plausible rumor has been shot down, the door is open to totally bonkers speculation with no factual foundation whatsoever.
That’s how we ended up with reports that Kylie got pregnant by her bodyguard, Tim Chung.
And what would lead the internet to such an unlikely conclusion?
We give you exhibit A.
As you can see, Tim is an attractive man.
Twitter’s reasoning is basically – Kylie got pregnant while she was frequently in the presence of an attractive man, therefore, said attractive man must have impregnated her.
No one involved in the situation bothered to dignify those reports with a response, and we think it’s safe to say Tim is not Kylie’s baby daddy.
Not because it’s inconceivable that Kylie would deign to sleep with a lowly bodyguard, but because the reports are based on nothing but the denizens of Horny Twitter deciding that they would like to get knocked up by Mr. Chung.
Of course, it’s worth noting that Kylie could do a lot worse.
In addition to sporting a set of abs that could be used to grate parmesan, Tim is a full-time officer with the LAPD and a part-time model.
It’s not hard to see how Kylie could fall for someone like Tim.
And if she’s not interested, Tim can take solace in the fact that a few thousand of her fans are eagerly DTF.
“Kinda wanna move to LA so I can get arrested by Kylie Jenner’s bodyguard,” wrote one enthusiast.
“Sorry I was late to work, I was busy reading about Kylie Jenner’s bodyguard on Twitter,” tweeted another.
We consider ogling attractive famous people and their hangers-on a perfectly acceptable excuse for truancy, but we can see how your employer might not feel the same.
So if you’re getting ready for work right now, and you find yourself held up by this article please don’t put the blame on us.
