Maci Bookout Reveals UNIQUE Name For Third Child!

It’s only been two months since we first learned that Maci Bookout is pregnant with Taylor McKinney’s baby, but believe it or not the little fella is due in just a few weeks.

Maci and Taylor kept the forthcoming bundle of joy under wraps for so long that we haven’t had time to speculate about sort of unorthodox moniker the 24-year-old will bust out for baby number three.

Bookout certainly didn’t play it safe with her first two selections (Bentley for her eldest son, Jayde for her little girl), but this time she’s full-on flying into the danger zone.

Maci announced today that the tyke will go by the name Maverick Reed McKinney.

Apparently “Ice Man” and “Goose” just didn’t have the right ring to them.

That was a Top Gun reference for our readers who aren’t old enough to remember Tom Cruise as anything other than a couch-jumping weirdo.

Interestingly, Maci actually wields a lot of influence over our nation’s expectant mothers.

In fact, both “Maci” and “Bentley” cracked the top ten list of the most popular baby names for the first time ever the same year that Teen Mom premiered.

Coincidence? Well, we have no way of knowing, but probably not.

So get ready, kindergarten teachers of America! Your classrooms are about to be filled with more Mavericks than a Tea Party convention.

Maci Bookout: SNUBBING Farrah Abraham From Wedding??

It’s safe to say that Maci Bookout is the least controversial star in the Teen Mom franchise, which is probably why she gave the most boring interview to MTV UK.

As members of the human race, we applaud Maci for refraining from cursing and throwing a tantrum like we’re accustomed to seeing from her Teen Mom OG counterparts, but as gossip writers, well, we admit to feeling just a tad disappointed.

HOWEVER, we did detect one possible morsel of drama to share with you, and naturally, it involves Farrah Abraham.

When asked whether she planned on inviting some of her cast mates to her upcoming wedding, Maci revealed all we need to know.

“I definitely plan on inviting some of the other OGs to the wedding,” she confirmed. “I don’t think it would feel right without them there.”

Exercising our mastery of the English language and the power of deduction, we can assume that “some” means “not all,” which means that someone’s getting excluded.

We know Maci remains close to co-stars Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell – she just posed for a selfie with the former last week and attended the latter’s wedding last year.

But her relationship with Farrah has been strained at best, with the beef coming to a head last year when Maci briefly quit the show after hearing that the amateur porn actress was returning.

Farrah retaliated by calling her co-star a “fake, f–ked up, piece of s–t person.”

So yeah, there may be some tension between the two.

However, Farrah appeared to make nice in January after Maci announced her engagement to boyfriend Taylor McKinney.

“I stopped by their green room to congratulate them,” Farrah told Us Weekly. “We all hugged and embraced and congratulated Maci!”

Fans speculated that Farrah was just schmoozing for a wedding invite, but it looks like Maci didn’t take the bait.

You can’t blame Maci, who is pregnant with her third child.

A bride with any sense is going to shut down the likelihood of overturned tables and screaming fits with a groomsman who may have inadvertently glanced Farrah’s way.

Maci Bookout: Drinking While Pregnant? Fans Offer Proof on Social Media

Last week, we reported that Teen Mom star Maci Bookout had been accused of drinking while pregnant.

The allegations began to appear online shortly after Maci announced that she was pregnant with her third child in an Instagram post on Valentine’s Day.

Naturally, online shame-sleuths took that as their cue to start poring over Maci’s Instagram posts and recent episodes of Teen Mom to look for any indication that she’d behaved in an unhealthy fashion, because as far as we can tell, Teen Mom only exists so that the show’s audience can denigrate its stars.

Radar Online has collected some of the more vitriolic comments on Maci’s social media pages, and if you’ll allow us to save you the trouble of scrolling through the poor woman’s Twitter feed – people are pissed. 

“Every scene of @MaciBookoutMTV shows her drinking beer and she knows damn well she’s pregnant,” wrote one “fan.”

Another tweeted, “You are so busted on the episode around Christmas you were drinking a beer at the restaurant!”

Several Instagram followers insist that Maci is lying when she says she found out she was pregnant just a few days after her engagement to Taylor McKinney.

“There is no way someone that tiny didn’t know!!!,” a user commented on Instagram, as another posted, “There’s no way being 4 months at the time you wouldn’t know being pregnant in this episode.”

Who knew there were so many obstetricians trolling their way around social media?

Maci Bookout: Accused of Drinking While Pregnant

Last week, we learned that Teen Mom star Maci Bookout is pregnant with her third child.

As you can see from the rather large bump, Maci was well into her pregnancy (about six months, to be exact) when she decided to share the news with fans.

Obviously, that’s her prerogative, and she’s free to keep the news to herself for as long as she wants to (or until MTV tells her it’s time to go public for ratings purposes).

Unfortunately, the late announcement prompted Teen Mom fans to go scroll through Maci’s old Instagram posts to look for early hints that she was knocked up.

What they found instead was evidence that Maci was acting very non-pregnant until quite recently:

That photo, which appears to show Maci drinking a beer at a University of Tennessee football game was taken six weeks ago, when Maci would’ve been over four months pregnant.

Maci can also be seen drinking in recent episodes of Teen Mom, which sources say were filmed while she was pregnant. 

Bookout says she didn’t find out she was expecting until after she got engaged to Taylor McKinney on January 19.

So that means she may not have known she was pregnant when she was boozing it up throughout her first trimester.

These things happen, but some fans believe Maci isn’t being completely honest about when she learned she was knocked up.

Like we said, that’s quite a bump in the above photo, and it’s tough to believe that it developed entirely in the last three weeks.

Anyway, Maci has proven to be a perfectly competent and loving mother to her first two kids, and as Teen Mom scandals go, this one is pretty minor.

We doubt she’d knowingly drink to excess while pregnant, but you can bet that won’t keep her so-called “fans” from throwing shade.

Maci Bookout: PREGNANT With Third Child!

Maci Bookout treated her Instagram followers to a Valentine’s Day surprise this morning.

The 24-year-old Teen Mom star revealed that she’s expecting her third child!

Maci posted the above photo with fiance Taylor McKinney, along with a caption reading, “Baby boy coming soon! happy valentine’s day!”

Bookout and McKinney got engaged last month after several years of dating.

The couple welcomed their first child together, Jayde Carter, in May of last year. Maci also has a 7-year-old son, Bentley, with her ex Ryan Edwards.

Apparently, Maci found out about her third bundle of joy shortly after McKinney popped the question.

“I found out I was pregnant with baby number three right after we got engaged,” she said in a statement released today. “It was not expected or a planned pregnancy.”

Bookout included the hadshtag “#lastbutnotleast” on Instagram, which seems to be a clear confirmation that she and McKinney are planning to stop at three.

No word yet on when Maci and Taylor plan to marry, or if the pregnancy will cause any delays. 

Whatever happens, we’re sure these two have many happy years ahead of them. Our congrats go out to both of them!

Farrah Abraham Congratulates Maci Bookout, Universe is Confused

After Maci Bookout announced her engagement to Taylor McKinney, Farrah Abraham attempted to get in her Teen Mom OG co-star’s good graces by giving Us Weekly an exclusive recap of their proposal.

As we reported yesterday, McKinney proposed to Bookout over the holiday weekend in L.A., where the cast was taping a reunion special.

According to Abraham, McKinney told Bookout that she had to do a photoshoot for MTV.

It was the perfect opportunity for him to present his baby mama with a custom-designed ring.

“After her new fiancé proposed, they came to the studios to finish our reunion taping,” Abraham told Us on January 19th.

“I stopped by their green room to congratulate them. We all hugged and embraced and congratulated Maci!”

Abraham played nice, which means one thing: She wants an invitation to their wedding.

“It was very fitting and great to catch their memories for everyone to see,” Abraham said of the newly engaged couple.

“I look forward to supporting their engagement and look forward to their wedding.”

It looks as though Abraham made amends with Ambert Portwood and Catelynn Lowell, because they all posed for a photo together, which was then posted to social media.

When asked if Bookout and Portwood (who’s engaged to Matt Baier) will become wedding buddies, Abraham said that she figured they would “both bounce ideas off each other as they plan.”

Hoping that their good fortune will be paid forward, Abraham wrapped up her interview with hope for her own romantic future.

“I’m excited to see their plans come together on their wedding days! Hopefully this engagement luck rubs off on me as I’m the only single lady left.”

Maci Bookout: Engaged To Taylor McKinney!!!

Taylor McKinney has finally put Teen Mom OG fans out of their misery by making an honest woman out of Maci Bookout.

Earlier today, Bookout posted an Instagram of the couple locking lips, with the caption:

“Well y’all, my best friend asked me to marry him! I’m one lucky lady, I love you T!”

I’m kind of into Bookout’s engagement jewel, which appears to be a collection of diamond bands with a rock in the center (when, oh when will Instagram offer a zoom option).

Bookout and McKinney have been together for three years, and have a 7-month-old daughter, Jayde together.  

Bookout has a 7-year-old son, Bentley with ex, Ryan Edwards, whose tumultuous relationship was featured on both 16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom.

Bookout definitely put pressure on McKinney to propose in the previews for this season’s Teen Mom OG.

In December, Bookout told Us Weekly that marriage was very important to her.

“It’s so to the point where I’m like, ‘Really, what is the deal?’

“In my opinion — and I think Taylor would agree — we pretty much are already married. So it’s kind of like, ‘All right, what are we waiting on?’ I’m confused.”

According to Us, Bookout filmed the show’s reunion in Los Angeles on Saturday, and a wrap party on Sunday turned into a engagement celebration when McKinney popped the question.

“All the other girls were so happy for Maci, and everyone was so happy to celebrate together,” a source told the magazine.

Maci Bookout to Taylor McKinney: Hurry TF Up & Propose!

Teen Mom cast member Maci Bookout has a message for her longtime boyfriend Taylor McKinney: Three years, and still no ring?

HELLO! What is so challenging about this?!

Those who watch Teen Mom online know Maci has been with Taylor since 2012, and he even has the approval of her ex Ryan Edwards.

Yet he hasn’t gotten down on one knee, much to her consternation … and the reality star is openly wondering what the holdup is.

Especially since they have a kid and all.

“It’s so to the point where I’m like, ‘Really, what is the deal?’” Maci, 24, says of the father of her second child, daughter Jayde.

Fans of Bookout have been eagerly awaiting the big news since the Season 5 finale showed Taylor McKinney ring shopping.

That was May. They’re still waiting.

“Marriage is something I want in my life,” Maci says. “In my opinion – and I think Taylor would agree – we pretty much are already married.”

“So it’s kind of like, ‘All right, what are we waiting on?’ I’m confused,” Bookout adds, but rut ring or no, “we make a really good team.”

In addition to Jayde, the couple are also raising Bookout’s son, Bentley, 7, her child with Teen Mom troublemaker Ryan Edwards.

Things between them are alright, though, and the stability Taylor brings to her life has been a big factor in that positive change.

“I don’t think we would be able to do everything we have going on lately if we didn’t have each other,” Bookout says of McKinney.

The new season of Teen Mom: OG kicks off next Monday, January 4. Better step up and pop the question this winter, T, or else.
