Tristan Thompson Was Ready to Propose to Khloe, Until...
As previously recappd, Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian jetted off to Japan on this week’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
But buried in the rundown of the latest fight between these siblings was the fact that Tristan Thompson admitted during this same installment that he wanted Khloe to go someplace else with him at some point:
The altar.
Oh, yes, the professional baller (in the sense of playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers and plowing any Instagram model that shows interest) said he had plans to propose!
In a scene from the installment, Thompson FaceTimed with Kris Jenner in order to chat about a push present for Kardashian.
(At the time, she was expecting the couple’s first child, daughter True. These episodes were filmed a hilariously long time ago.)
“I remember Koko saying she wanted something where she could pass it down, generation after generation,” Thompson told Kris, to which she replied as follows:
“You know, Corey [Gamble] bought me for Christmas a couple of years ago this really beautiful little diamond ring that you could put on any finger.
“You know, until you get that really huge diamond that’s going to go on on her ring finger!”
In other words:
Ask for my daughter’s hand in marriage, dammit!
What are you waiting for?!?
Not much, Tristan actually replied, stating on this call that he has every intention of making an honest woman out of Khloe.
“Of course,” he replied about proposing. “Eventually!”
Wow. We had no idea Thompson had really thought about this possibility at all.
So… why didn’t he go through with it?
Because it soon came out that he had been cheating on Khloe left, right and in every direction in between.
Those allegations had not yet come to light when Thompson had this discussion with Jenner and he’s been spending every second since merely getting Khloe to trust him again.
It would be quite the leap to go from sleeping around on your girlfriend to then getting engaged to this same girlfriend in just a matter of months.
Many viewers, meanwhile, are wondering whether we’ll see Khloe’s reaction to Tristan’s infidelity on upcoming episodes — and the answer is yes.

While the new mother has largely avoided publicly discussing the cheating scandal, Khloe did address it on social media last month.
She did so while responding to speculation that she and Thompson were talking about, you guessed it… getting married.
In a reply to an Instagram user who accused her of “acting like Tristan didn’t cheat,” Khloe grew defensive and shot back:
“I’m not acting as if Tristan didn’t cheat. I’m saying the story about marriage and anyone insinuating they know what we speak about privately is crap.”
Fair enough, right?
As for whether the pair will walk down the aisle someday?
Let’s slow that roll.
The better question right now is whether Khloe will move to Cleveland with Tristan, as insider now say she is having doubts.
“Khloe has seemed emotional,” says a People Magazine source, adding:
“Her feelings about Tristan cheating is something that she is still dealing with. She has good weeks when she is fine about it and weeks when she is upset about it.
“It’s of course difficult to trust someone 100 percent who cheated days before he was about to become a dad.
“Khloe still struggles with this sometimes.”

Travis Scott: Plotting to Propose on Kylie Jenner"s 21st Birthday!
Last week, Kylie and Travis tried to bury breakup rumors by sharing some PDA. And it worked!
They’re still together. And now a report says that Travis is gearing up to ask Kylie to marry him — on her upcoming birthday, no less.
If you want to land a woman who is soon to be the world’s youngest self-made billionaire, you have to do it right. Take a look at what he has planned.
HollywoodLife reports that Travis Scott is planning to propose to Kylie on the day that she turns 21.
“Travis wants to put together a huge marriage proposal to Kylie,” the source reports.
The insider goes on to add that Travis wants to do this “for her birthday.”
Kylie will turn 21 on August 10. Which is in just a week and a half, folks.
“He is thinking of getting on his knee,” the source dishes. “To surprise her by asking to marry him with a huge ring for 21st birthday.”
“He loves Kylie with his whole heart,” the insider adds.
Well, considering that they’ve been dating for over a year and also have a baby together, we’d sure hope so.
“And,” the source continues. “Having a baby with her has only brought them closer together.”
That can definitely happen sometimes, for a variety of reasons — from bonding over creating a new human to a sense of obligation.
Because of all of this, he wants to make things official with Kylie with an engagement.
Travis apparently has a specific plan.
“He wants to use her milestone birthday as a chance to celebrate their love,” the insider says.
Well, 21 is one of the biggest milestones in life.
And, arguably, the last good birthday milestone that anyone will ever experience.
It makes sense that Travis might want to pick that date as a day on which to propose.
(Also, that means that he cuts down his chances of forgetting their engagement anniversary and her birthday)
Of course, if you’re going to propose to Kylie Jenner, you need more than just love in your heart or whatever.
“Travis has been shopping around for a big diamond,” the source reports.
Oh, yeah. He’d definitely need to pick something over-the-top for Kylie.
The insider shares that “he is determined to impress her with something really massive.”
Good. Many people get the feeling that Kylie might be a size queen (about rings!).
Apparently, Travis has reached out to another man who wormed his way into the heart of a Kardashian.
“He even asked Kanye for some advice,” the insider reports.
The source goes on to say that Travis specifically asked Kanye “about buying the perfect ring and how to propose.”
Sometimes, people are way too nervous for do what feels right to work as an answer. They need to be coached by someone who’s been through it.
The insider says: “Travis thinks Kylie deserves something massive and outrageous to symbolize their love.”
It sounds like he’s on the right track, then.
That said … we’re always leery when someone’s plan for a proposal leaks. Those are usually kept pretty tightly under wraps, right?
Besides, if this was Travis’ plan, he might have to change it now that this story is out there.
Kylie may exist in a celebrity bubble, but there’s a decent chance that she might see any report about her that pops up.
So let’s hope that this doesn’t spoil the big surprise. If there is one.

Hailey Baldwin: BEGGING Justin Bieber to Propose?!
One woman’s trash is another woman’s treasure … and, possibly, soon-to-be fiance.
Hailey Baldwin has been enjoying Selena’s sloppy seconds in the form of Justin Bieber, but it’s not the first time that Hailey’s dated the Biebs.
A report says that, this time, Hailey is playing for keeps — and wants Justin to put a ring on it.
So, Justin and Hailey are back together. But it looks like this is already no casual fling between old flames.
RadarOnline reports that Hailey Baldwin is eager for Justin Bieber to propose.
“Hailey has always been crazy about Justin,” the source explains.
Well, so were a lot of people. Even though some fans think Justin’s basically ugly now given that he’s covered his body in tattoos.
But Justin and Hailey have dated before, and the insider says that “they stayed friends after ending their romance.”
That’s not so unusual.
The source says that this friendship was great, “but it’s no secret that she was hoping it would turn into something more again.”
Former lovers can be hard to leg go.
Now that they’re back together, the source says, “she’s finally got what she wanted.”
Some of that infamous Bieber wang! Also the rest of him and, like, his affections.
“And now that they’re together,” the insider continues. “[She] wants to make things official.”
Not just by announcing their relationship — though fans have seen proof that they’re back together — but with an engagement.
And the source says that Hailey hopes that Justin will pop the question “as soon as possible.”
Wow … isn’t that rushing it a bit?
“They already know each other so well and have a great connection,” the source explains.
They already know that they’e compatible, the insider spells out, “so Hailey wants this to move fast.”
The source even characterizes Hailey as “begging” the Biebs for a ring, though that sounds a little like exaggeration, right?
“She would love to marry Justin,” the insider dishes. “And hopes that he’s ready to take that step with her.”
And she’s reportedly not afraid to give Justin a nudge in that direction.
The source says: “Hailey is dropping plenty of hints that she’s eager to settle down.”
Whenever anyone is dropping hints, we think of the infamous dropping hints meme that Kim Kardashian spawned.
Don’t worry. Hailey is eager, the insider says, “but she’s also being careful not to push him away.”
That sounds smart.
“The last thing she wants,” the source explains. “Is to lose him again.”
We cannot confirm any parts of this report, and want to make that clear.
Hailey Baldwin, we would hope, would have the sense to make sure that she and Justin are still romantically compatible before pushing for an engagement.
It’s true that sometimes people just know and get married right away and have long, healthy relationships. But she and Justin have done this dance before and then parted ways.
There is a tendency for the human mind to romanticize the past. Your old apartment, your old job, your former lover, your former grocery store — whatever it may be.
After a few days or a few weeks or a few months, however, you start to remember why you moved on.
It’s usually a good idea to not rush into things with an ex whom you’ve spent years romanticizing.
That said, Hailey is a grown-ass adult and she can get engaged to the Biebs if she wants to.
But … would he feel the same?
He may still believe that God wants him to marry Selena Gomez.
It’s kind of difficult to argue with someone who believes that their romantic destiny is divinely ordained.

Andi Dorfman: Watching Josh Murray Propose to Amanda Stanton Was Strange!
Once upon a time, Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray looked set to become the latest power couple in Bachelor Nation.
Somewhere along the way, their relationship hit a snag, and it allowed Murray to appear on Bachelor in Paradise in 2016, and that’s where he started a relationship with Amanda Stanton.
But, how did Andi feel about her ex-fiance being back on TV and getting up close and proposing to a different woman?
“I don’t think it was hard as much as it was strange,” Dorfman revealed to Us Weekly.
“Something everyone can relate to in the sense of — you may be finished and done with a relationship or have gotten over all of it, but whenever you hear an ex of yours has gotten engaged or dating again, especially on such a public platform, it just feels strange.”
Dorfman makes an excellent point: Who wants to know their ex is involved with someone else?
It must be difficult being in the public eye because there’s, like, no way to really cut an ex out of your life if they are popping up in the headlines every so often.
Dorfman’s new book, Single State of Mind delves further into her feelings about the whole thing. There’s probably a whole lot of Josh Murray bashing included because that’s what she does best.
“I didn’t want to try and brush it all under the rug, but at the same time, I wasn’t distraught over it,” she says in the book.
“It was just a weird feeling.”
If you keep up to speed with what goes on in Bachelor Nation, you will already know that Murray’s relationship with Stanton was yet another relationship that fizzled.
Andi managed to bond with Stanton in the aftermath, and the pair has been out together, so at least we know they are not letting one man come between a potential friendship.
“I’ve actually been out with her a couple times in New York City,” Dorfman explains, but she also says that the pair don’t chat regularly about Murray.
“It’s pretty funny! We don’t actually exchange too many stories, but it’s like how many people in the world have been engaged and then broken off an engagement to the same guy as me? The answer is pretty much only one!”
While Bachelor Nation relationships have a knack for being ill-fated, Dorfman also revealed whether she would dip back into the dating world with former contestants.
“I mean, I’m not against it. I don’t think anyone that comes off the show has a stigma, by any means,” she explains.
“I hope not because then I would have one too! I’m not against it, but I wouldn’t say I’m seeking out a guy from Bachelor Nation by any means [laughs].”
Adds Andi: “Unless it was Chris Harrison!”
Wouldn’t it be fun to see Chris Harrison and Andi become a thing? We can only imagine the headlines that would come from that pairing!
Unfortunately, Andi was joking when she said that last comment.
“We would never date!” she dishes. “We have a little fun with it still.”

Prince Harry: Did Meghan Markle"s Dad Give Him Permission to Propose?
If you’ve been following news of the couple, then you know that a Prince Harry-Meghan Markle engagement announcement is expected any day now.
Many believe Harry and Meghan are already engaged and currently preparing suitably royal announcement, while others think Harry has yet to pop the question.
Whatever the case, it seems pretty clear that both parties are prepared to take the next step in their relationship.
Harry was in Toronto for the Invictus Games last week, and it’s been rumored that he took some steps toward making Meghan his wife during his time on this side of the pond.
Toronto is not only Meghan’s adopted hometown due to the fact that Suits is filmed there, it’s also where several of her family members permanently reside.
Most significantly, Meghan’s father lives in Toronto, and sources that claimed that old-fashioned Harry seized the chance to ask Thomas Markle for his daughter’s hand in marriage.
“Harry asked Meghan’s father for her hand in marriage the last time he was in Canada, and Thomas was very happy to give his blessing,” an insider tells Hollywood Life.
“Thomas loves Harry, as do all of Meghan’s family, and he especially loves how happy his daughter is, and how much Harry clearly adores her.”
The source adds that Harry has already secured permission to propose to Meghan from the most prominent member of his own family.
“Harry has also asked his grandmother for permission to marry, which she has granted,” says the insider.
“The Queen met Meghan earlier this month, and was quite taken with her. So, she is very happy for [Meghan] to join the family,” the source adds.
Yes, it sounds like this thing is really happening.
Obviously, women all over the world are heartbroken by the prospect of the world’s most eligible bachelor being taken off the market for good, but let’s take a moment to remember the real victims here.
We’re talking, of course, about those us who were holding out hope for a second season of I Want to Marry Harry.
The new round of contestants will never believe a married prince would go on a reality show to find a new wife.
Of course, we wouldn’t have believed they’d be able to find a group of women who would believe that an unmarried prince would go on a reality show to find a wife, so who knows?

Chris Brown: I Wanted to Propose to Rihanna. Then, I Beat Her.
I’m tired of giving people something to talk about, you know?
They should be talking about how I’m the baddest motherf-cker on the stage instead of I’m the baddest motherf-ckler in the courtroom.
So Chris Brown says in the opening moments of his new documentary, “Chris Brown: Welcome to My Life.”
The 90-minute film played across the nation on Thursday night only and will be available for preorder on iTunes on Friday, June 9.
It will then be released on August 8 to 100 different different transactional pay-per-view outlets, according to producer Andrew Listermann of Riveting Entertainment.
Those are the technical details.
But the details regarding what Brown has to say in the documentary are far more interesting, especially when it comes to Rihanna.
FIRST, Brown says he and Rihanna started just hanging out casually when they were teenagers. She didn’t take him very seriously when he said he liked her and wanted to be her boyfriend.
So Brown dropped the Love Bomb on his fellow singer and that’s when they started dating.
SECOND, the stars were already dating when they performed their iconic duet at the 2007 Video Music Awards.
It was after this critically-acclaimed (i.e. HAWT!) set that the couple went public with its romance.
THIRD, Brown admits that he felt so strongly about Rihanna early on that he thought about proposing.
FOURTH, the seed for his eventual violent altercation with Rihanna was planted several weeks prior to the awful incident, after he finally admitted that he used to sleep with a certain ex-co-worker.
Rihanna had badgered Brown about this unnamed woman for awhile and then he finally admitted that he had a sexual history with her.
FIFTH, on the night of tAt some point in the intense argument, Brown punched Rihanna in the face, bloodying her lip. She grabbed his penis and he bit her arm. She scratched his CDs and yelled that someone was trying to kill her.he 2009 Clive Davis Grammy party, this former lover actually stopped by Brown and Rihanna’s table to say hello.
Brown says that Rihanna grew very upset as a result and the two left in his Lamborghini.
He let his girlfriend go through his phone in order to prove he wasn’t keeping any secrets… only she did come across an opened text from this woman, informing Brown she’d be at the aforementioned party.
At some point in the intense argument, Brown punched Rihanna in the face, bloodying her lip.
She grabbed his penis and he bit her arm. She scratched his CDs and yelled that someone was trying to kill her.
With the car pulled over at this point, a neighbor overheard and called the police.
Incredibly, to this day, Rihanna still has contact with Brown.
Heck, there’s been talk that the stars are dating again.
For his SIXTH admission, Brown says in his documentary that things had been physical between he and Rihanna before this major blowout.
He says each attacked the other at various times and they had to make excuses in public for why they had bruises.
SEVENTH, Brown says he tried calling Rihanna on numerous occasions after their first break-up, but she told him to go away.
He finally accepted things were over and that’s when he started dating Karrueche Tran, although he was still in love with Rihanna at the time.
Brown and Tran, of course, would go on to have their own contentious relationship, one that sort of continues to this day.
It’s all a long and sordid story, but we’re left with one conclusion:
Brown really sucks as a human being.

Prince Harry: Plans to Propose to Meghan Markle Revealed?
Like Hemingway and the Jimmy John’s guy before them, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will soon be headed to the green hills of Africa, where they’ll participate in a full-blown safari.
Unlike those giants in the worlds of literature and cold cuts, however, Harry and Meghan thankfully won’t be slaying any large beasts.
But that doesn’t mean they won’t have something to show off when they get home.
According to Radar Online, Harry is planning to propose to Meghan during the couple’s jungle jaunt.
The continent is apparently of tremendous emotional significance to Harry, who sought refuge there with his brother and father following the death of his mother, Princess Diana.
“Africa means everything to Harry,” a source close to the Royals tells Radar.
“It is where he and William were taken by their father to escape after their mother’s death.”
And that’s not the end of the Harry’s sentimental ties to Africa:
“He feels himself there, and it was the South African jewelry he gave to Meghan that first gave their relationship away,” says the insider, adding:
“Prince William proposed to Kate there.”
In case you still haven’t grasped the extent to which Harry really, really loves Africa, the tipster continues:
“He really feels he has found a soulmate in Meghan, and both have even said they would love to live on and run a wildlife safari reserve.”
At this point, you should imagine the source grabbing you by the shoulders, shaking you, and screaming about Harry’s love of Africa.
“The continent, the Toto song, everything! Harry. Loves. Africa!”
Rumors about Harry and Meghan getting engaged have been circulating pretty much from the moment the world learned they were dating, but it’s really beginning to feel like it’ll happen soon.
The couple attended Pippa Middleton’s wedding together last month, and the event served as their unofficial coming out party.
Now that they’re a confirmed couple, it seems only a matter of time before Harry puts a ring on it.
At 32, he’s not longer the wild child/black sheep (depending on whom you ask) of the Royal clan, and he’s spoken in recent years about his desire to settle down and start a family.
We don’t know for sure when he’ll propose … but it sounds like there’s little doubt as to where it’ll happen.

Prince Harry: Waiting on Queen"s Permission to Propose to Meghan Markle?
Pretty much from the time we learned that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are dating, rumors about the two of them getting hitched have been circulating on social media non-stop.
Obviously, the talk of Harry and Meghan getting engaged is a bit premature, but it’s not hard to see how fans of the couple might have gotten the idea that they’re moving at breakneck speed.
After all, Harry has never seemed this committed before.
In fact, there may be just one thing holding him back from popping the question – a law, and a beloved monarch.
Yes, according to People magazine, conditions first laid out in the Royal Marriages Act of 1772 require Harry and Meghan to seek Queen Elizabeth II’s permission before they can wed.
The restrictions have been eased considerably over the years, but as anyone who’s watched The Crown knows, the Queen pretty much has the final say on marriages involving members of her family.
It’s an old-school tradition, but the royals are an old school lot.
It’s unlikely that the Queen would veto the union, and if for some bizarre reason she did, Harry would probably just renounce his title and marry her anyway.
But as long as he’s prince, Harry is fifth in line to the thrown (behind Prince George and Princess Charlotte, which must sting a bit), which means he’s expected to ask for the Queen’s permission before he puts a ring on Meghan’s finger.
It’s more custom than requirement these days, but experts say it’s a tradition that Harry will almost certainly observe.
Interestingly, the magazine’s sources say that it looks as though Meghan has yet to meet the Queen, so we guess the engagement isn’t as much of a done deal as some folks seem to believe.
The situation begs the question – has she goggled Meghan?
Does the queen google?
Has she been asking Buckingham Palace staff about Suits only to find that it’s only watched by a total of 18 trailer park residents, all scattered throughout different flyover states?

Blake Shelton: Planning to Propose to Gwen Stefani on The Voice?!
Last we checked on Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, the couple was going strong at the People’s Choice Awards.
BS and GS certainly aren’t shy about their love, but they are careful about controlling how much of their life together goes public.
Pretty much from the time they first hooked up, we’ve been hearing rumors about Gwen and Blake getting married, but both parties have been evasive when asked about plans to tie the knot.
But that may be soon to change …
Radar Online is reporting today that Shelton and Stefani are receiving more money to return for future seasons than any other judges on The Voice.
The reason seems to be that producers are well aware that viewers love ‘em some Gwake chemistry, and the relationship has proven to be a ratings bonanza.
“[Blake and Gwen] are getting paid an exceptional bonus that is significantly higher than the other judges to keep the spark alive on-camera,” a production source tells Radar.
Of course, the novelty of the fact that two of the judges are dating will eventually wear off, which means Gwen and Blake may have to offer fans more of an insider’s view of their relationship if they want to keep the audience interested.
The news of the bonus has led to speculation that Gwen and Blake might have promised producers something special.
Like, for example, an on-air proposal during one of the show’s live segments.
Obviously, that’s just speculation at this point, but makes an awful lot of sense.
Without the expectation of that sort of event television, it wouldn’t make much sense for the network to offer Gwen and Blake significantly more cash than the other judges.
After all, the tabloid interest in their relationship has begun to die down, and that will likely translate to diminishing returns in terms of ratings.
Blake proposing to Gwen on the air would certainly boost interest in the show, however temporarily.
But it seems like producers have some other tricks up their sleeve, as well:
“The producers really want to see Gwen and Blake in competition more often this upcoming season, versus working with each other like they have in the past,” says the insider.
“And, of course, there is a stipulation in their contract, which is more of a break-up clause,” the source claims.
“If, for some reason, they call it quits, they are both required to finish out the remainder of their existing contracts.”
Now that could make for some intense competition.

Kourtney Kardashian to Scott Disick: Propose, Or We"re THROUGH!
In retrospect, we should have known Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick would get back together.
They clearly just don’t know how to quit each other.
They’re like Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger in Brokeback Mountain, except instead of gay Montana cowboys, they’re spray-tanned SoCal narcissists.
Despite the fact that their time apart has been less than amicable (Kourtney slept with Justin Bieber, which is pretty much the ultimate low-blow.), Kourt and Scott recently decided to take a Mexican vacation together.
And it seems that even though Scott was barred from downing any margaritas, the trip went better than expected:
“Kourt’s been impressed with how hard he’s worked to get back into her good graces, and she fell in love with him all over again during their Mexican vacation,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online.
“Kourtney’s allowed Scott to move back in with her and the kids, but she also hit him with the ultimatum that it’s time they got married.”
Wow … how romantic.
Scott sort of went into a tailspin when they spilt, so not surprisingly, insiders claim he’s accepted Kourtney’s conditions.
Unfortunately, it looks as though the rumored Kourtney-Khloe double wedding will not come to pass.
Sources say Skourt is planning to break with family tradition and tie the knot in an intimate affair with a very small guest list.
“They’re plotting a quiet wedding at home with only immediate family — not even friends will be allowed.”
So do E! camera crews count as family?
Come to think of it, they probably should at this point.
Look, we believe just about every part of this story except for the bit about Kris Jenner allowing one of her kids to get married and not forcing them to televise it.
Well, we kind of struggle with the whole “Scott staying sober for an entire week in Mexico” part, too, but that’s a conversation for another time.
The point is, we actually we can actually swallow the fact that these two are back on, and we definitely believe they’re willing to get hitched.

Kylie Jenner Flaunts Ring: Did Tyga Propose For Real This Time?
What fresh hell hath these two bring us today?
If you’re over the soap opera that is Kylie Jenner and Tyga’s relationship, then I’m afraid you’ll have to find a rock to live under (save some space for me).
The latest? Jenner and Tyga are fully back on, after telling others they split in May.
Jenner confirmed this by flaunting their love all over social media, from seductive poses on Instagrams, to Snapchats of rings strategically placed on a certain finger of a certain hand.
“Kylie’s sisters are just so done with this drama! They are very hateful towards Tyga,” a source told Radar Online.
“Hardly anyone in the family likes Tyga anymore and he knows this!”
Back when it was thought they had parted ways, reports of Jenner being $ 2 million dollars in the hole after a loan to the rapper surfaced.
“He [Tyga] was shocked when she asked to be paid, telling her he thought the money was a gift, not a loan,” a source told Radar at the time.
“He’s a total loser and owes her over $ 2 million.”
Now the the family knows what a deadbeat Tyga is, they’re not happy with their baby sister.
“Kylie is so annoyed with her family right now that everyone thinks she is just trying to piss them off by flaunting this ring and stirring up publicity,” the source added.
Though she might enjoying ruffling feathers and taking photos that get people talking, her family isn’t buying it.
“No they are not engaged!” the source said.
“The pathetic thing is that Tyga did not even buy Kylie this diamond ring!
“He doesn’t really buy her anything and she gets all of her jewelry on her own. Most of the stuff is gifted to her.”
The Kardashians have been receiving freebies from brands for as long as their reality show has been popular, so it would surprise no one to learn that Jenner is playing dress-up with a piece of pricey costume jewelry.
Or she could have picked it up at Claire’s.

Blac Chyna: Did She FORCE Rob Kardashian to Propose? Is She After His Family"s Fortune?!
As you’ve no doubt heard by now, Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian are engaged after a whirlwind, random-as-hell courtship of less than three months.
Despite the complications caused by the fact that Rob’s sister is dating Blac’s baby daddy, it wasn’t hard to see what the two twenty-somethings saw in each other.
Blac is a curvy Instagram model and a household name in some circles.
Rob is a member of one of America’s most famous families, flush with cash, and loaded with fixer-up potential.
We figured Blac is the type who likes a challenge, and that these two would help each other out for a few months, post a bunch of nauseatingly cutesy crap on social media, and go their separate ways.
When news of the engagement first began to circulate online, many on social media dismissed it as another publicity stunt from the celebrity world’s most unashamedly thirsty couple.
When Blac confirmed the news, the conversation switched to “what the hell are these two thinking?”
Sure they’re young, but not “engaged after ten weeks” young.
Rob will be 30 next year, and Blac, 27, is the mother of a 3-year-old.
Given that Rob was in a pitiable state when he met Blac and will enjoy the benefits of fabulous wealth and at least a modicum of fame for the rest of his life, many began to wonder if Blac had ulterior motives.
After all, when they these two started dating, Rob was a recluse who seemed to be slowly killing himself with food, drugs, and a sedentary lifestyle.
Despite his wealth and fame, his self-esteem, by all accounts, was in the gutter.
For the right opportunist, Rob was ripe for the picking, and considering Blac’s fame has been primarily Kardashian-related for most of her career (She was friends with Kim before feuding with Kylie.), it’s hard to believe the fringe benefits of dating Rob never crossed her mind.
Already there’s talk of a Rob and Blac reality show, and a special wedding episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Not bad for a woman who was best known for trading shots with a teenager just a few months ago.
There’s no solid evidence that Blac is into Rob for his fame and wealth, or that getting married was her idea; we just hope the man is going into this situation with both eyes open.

"You need to say a proper yes, bruv," Adele adds. "You have to say yes."
Seriously, Neil. Go on and step up, man.

Blake Shelton: Planning to Propose to Gwen Stefani in Oklahoma?
Rumors about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton getting engaged have been circulating pretty much since the day we found out they’re dating.
Obviously, most of them have turned out to be bogus, but insiders have been saying for weeks that Blake is planning to pop the question on Valentine’s Day, and the couple’s recent travel itinerary may support that theory.
That’s Blake and Gwen in his hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, population 3,034.
Sources say the singers have been making regular trips to the tiny town, in part so that Gwen can get better acquainted with Blake’s mom, who still runs a crafts store.
“[Gwen] loves it there. It’s peaceful and quiet and a lot slower-paced,” a source tells E! News. “She likes how the people are so nice and the scenery of the lakes, creeks and large ponds.”
Interestingly, Blake and Gwen are reportedly planning to spend this weekend in Tishomingo – which has of course led to rumors of a Valentine’s Day proposal in Shelton’s hometown.
Will it actually go down that way?
Only time will tell – and if Blake does put a ring on it, it may be some time before the couple announces the news.
Of course, if you believe the folks who say Blake and Gwen are already engaged, then all this speculation is for naught.
