Andi Dorfman: Watching Josh Murray Propose to Amanda Stanton Was Strange!
Once upon a time, Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray looked set to become the latest power couple in Bachelor Nation.
Somewhere along the way, their relationship hit a snag, and it allowed Murray to appear on Bachelor in Paradise in 2016, and that’s where he started a relationship with Amanda Stanton.
But, how did Andi feel about her ex-fiance being back on TV and getting up close and proposing to a different woman?
“I don’t think it was hard as much as it was strange,” Dorfman revealed to Us Weekly.
“Something everyone can relate to in the sense of — you may be finished and done with a relationship or have gotten over all of it, but whenever you hear an ex of yours has gotten engaged or dating again, especially on such a public platform, it just feels strange.”
Dorfman makes an excellent point: Who wants to know their ex is involved with someone else?
It must be difficult being in the public eye because there’s, like, no way to really cut an ex out of your life if they are popping up in the headlines every so often.
Dorfman’s new book, Single State of Mind delves further into her feelings about the whole thing. There’s probably a whole lot of Josh Murray bashing included because that’s what she does best.
“I didn’t want to try and brush it all under the rug, but at the same time, I wasn’t distraught over it,” she says in the book.
“It was just a weird feeling.”
If you keep up to speed with what goes on in Bachelor Nation, you will already know that Murray’s relationship with Stanton was yet another relationship that fizzled.
Andi managed to bond with Stanton in the aftermath, and the pair has been out together, so at least we know they are not letting one man come between a potential friendship.
“I’ve actually been out with her a couple times in New York City,” Dorfman explains, but she also says that the pair don’t chat regularly about Murray.
“It’s pretty funny! We don’t actually exchange too many stories, but it’s like how many people in the world have been engaged and then broken off an engagement to the same guy as me? The answer is pretty much only one!”
While Bachelor Nation relationships have a knack for being ill-fated, Dorfman also revealed whether she would dip back into the dating world with former contestants.
“I mean, I’m not against it. I don’t think anyone that comes off the show has a stigma, by any means,” she explains.
“I hope not because then I would have one too! I’m not against it, but I wouldn’t say I’m seeking out a guy from Bachelor Nation by any means [laughs].”
Adds Andi: “Unless it was Chris Harrison!”
Wouldn’t it be fun to see Chris Harrison and Andi become a thing? We can only imagine the headlines that would come from that pairing!
Unfortunately, Andi was joking when she said that last comment.
“We would never date!” she dishes. “We have a little fun with it still.”

Empire Season 3 Episode 12 Recap: Strange Bedfellows
Hakeem Lyon is not the luckiest member of the Lyon clan.
That was addressed on Empire Season 3 Episode 12 when his birthday celebrations became a cause for concern for the people closest to him.
Meanwhile, Jamal continued to get closer to Philip, but did that mean hurting D-Major in the process?
When the episode got underway, Hakeem was partying the night away in celebration for his birthday. He floated the idea of a live stream of the events, but Andre was very much against it.
However, it was quickly revealed he and Lucious were just trying to make Hakeem think they could not make the birthday party. Lucious also revealed he was not getting his son an expensive car he wanted.
We then switched gears to Jamal waking up after the night before with Philip. On his cell phone, D-Major came out in a live stream, but things took a crazy turn when Jamal’s ex arrived at his apartment.
He found Philip rushing to get dressed, and Jamal told him to leave. D-Major was having none of it and said he came out for Jamal. This presented Jamal with some decisions as he wondered which man was best for him.
After some wise words from Cookie, Jamal had D-Major kicked out of Empire. This also paved the way for Philip to punch Major, but Jamal was less than impressed and said Major was going through tough time.
Surprisingly, Philip did not run off and ditch Jamal for his blatant favoritism over his ex-boyfriend.
At Hakeem’s birthday party, the venue was not impressed when they learned none of the family members would be attending and refused to pay Hakeem a fee.
The youngest Lyon then took the party to the Empire bar.
That’s when two thugs appeared and helped Hakeem. He got his fee and gave the men watches. Things turned dangerous when Tiana appeared with some friends.
The thugs started fighting with everyone, and the party was shut down. Tiana’s friend was injured, and she was upset that Hakeem did not ask about her.
Andre then gave Hakeem a verbal beat down and shut the live stream down, telling his brother he was done at Empire. Hakeem decided to spend the rest of his birthday with Bella.
Yes, he does remember he has a kid. Lucious was shocked by his son appearing in the dead of night and chatted with him about fatherhood. They bonded, and Hakeem left with Bella.
While all of this was going down, Giuliana continued to pursue Andre to get closer to Lucious. At the conclusion of the episode, she got close to Andre before revealing her master plan to a thug.
She wanted to get closer to Lucious to take everything from him. Yes, we have another money grabber, you guys!
In addition, Anika returned to town, and Leah offered to murder her. We’re not even kidding about that last part. This show is just crazy. Anika decided to get close to Tariq so the case could be dropped.

Duggar Website Reveals Strange Truths About Josh & Jana
In some respects, the Duggars are an open book.
They’ve starred in two reality series that both put their personal lives front and center, and all of the Duggars who are married (and thus permitted to use social media) enjoy offering regular updates to their millions of followers.
But for all their talent with commodifying the most mundane aspects of their day-to-day routines, the Duggars are just as skilled at keeping the more unseemly aspects of their lives under wraps.
The biggest skeleton in Duggar’s closet, of course, goes by the name of Josh.
The Josh Duggar sex scandals were so vile that many are still (justifiably) astonished that the family was granted a second shot at reality stardom.
These days, Counting On producers go to almost comical lengths to keep Josh off camera, even adding face-obscuring lens flares in post-production like a bunch of J.J. Abramses on Adderall.
But they can’t completely deny the existence of Josh, which is why he’s still represented on the family’s official website:
That’s Josh’s entry in the Duggar family “scrapbook” and as the folks at Refinery 29 pointed out, there’s all types of weird and wild sh-t going on here.
Where to begin?
For starters, Josh hasn’t worked at the Family Research Council in almost two years.
Seems the conservative think tank wasn’t too thrilled with the revelation Josh molested four of his sisters. Go figure.
Despite the fact that Josh’s relationship with the FRC didn’t exactly end amicably, his profile pic appears to be him at some sort of event hosted by the organization.
Anyway, these days Josh’s career prospects are in the gutter, which leads us to the other weird-as-hell tidbit here:
Under future plans, Josh simply put down a question mark.
Is he saying he doesn’t have any plans?
Did his scandal throw him into such disarray that he’s been forced to torch his blueprints for the future?
Isn’t Jesus supposed to be walking with him on a beach and directing him toward the next lucrative business venture or something?
Whatever the case, at least Josh isn’t alone in aimlessness:
Yes, Jana Duggar also can’t manage to come up with a single aspiration, thus indicating a lack of ambition that might be charming if she were a teenage Doc Marten enthusiast named Daria, but is a little weird coming from a 27-year-old who prides herself on her work ethic.
It might not seem all that unusual to leave that section blank, but given how carefully the Duggars cultivate their public images it’s sort of a glaring omission.
Like, it’s really not that hard to come up with one thing you want to do in the future, and giving voice to their goals would help the Duggars maintain the myth that they’re normal, well-rounded people.
Hell, we could do it for them!
Okay, Josh like Frito chili pie, so why doesn’t he say that his goals for the future are to eat more Frito chili pie and refrain from groping any of his siblings.
There! Problem solved!

Man Who Scaled Trump Tower with Suction Cups Sends Strange Message
We don’t want to judge anyone too harshly, but… well…
THIS is the sort of person who is apparently voting for Donald Trump.
On Wednesday evening, New York City was nearly brought to a standstill by some guy who used giant suction to try and scale the outside of Trump Tower.
We’re not kidding.
The climb started at approximately 3:30 p.m., with the then-unidentified individual being apprehended by police nearly three hours later.
He had made it about a third of the way up the 58-story building at the time.
For those wondering what it looks like when someone tries to make his way up a skyscraper via giant suction cups, here you go:
Police later said the man’s name was Steve and that he hailed from Virginia.
The 20-year old was taken from the scene on a stretcher and transported to Bellevue Hospital for psychological evaluation.
Charges against him have yet to be released
But… wait! It gets even weirder!
After Manhattan South Police Chief William Morris released Steve’s name (withholding his last name), the official said Steve climbed the building because he wanted to have a “personal meeting” with the Republican presidential nominee.
Steve told authorities he had no intentions of hurting the scandalous real estate mogul.
Morris then confirmed that Steve is the same man in the strange video posted to YouTube by user Leven Thumps.
Dressed like Elliott from Mr. Robot, sends Trump a message in footage aptly titled “Message to Mr. Trump (Why I Climbed Your Tower).”
“Excuse my manner of appearance … I would rather not be recognizable,” he says in the above video.
“I am an independent researcher seeking a private audience with you to discuss an important matter. I guarantee that it is in your interest to honor this request … believe me, if my purpose was not significant, I would not risk my life pursuing it …
“The reason I climbed your tower was to get your attention … I’ll get my contact information to your campaign so that if you are interested you can respond. …
“As for anyone else who is watching please help this video go viral … and be sure to get out and vote for Mr. Trump in the 2016 election.”
Here’s the most frightening part:
Who wants to bet that Trump actually has Steve out on the stump with him soon?
Trump Organization executive vice president Michael Cohen told the New York Post in a statement:
“This man performed a ridiculous and dangerous stunt. There’s damage to the building and he caused the unnecessary deployment of New York’s finest to protect his safety and the safety of everyone in the building.
“If Mr. Trump were here he’d be thanking law enforcement for the job they’re doing.”
He’d also be possibly threatening the life of Hillary Clinton and bragging about his awesome, passionate, dedicated fans.
What the heck is going on in the world, people?!?

Rob Kardashian Posts Strange Selfie: What"s He Trying to Say?
Rob Kardashian isn’t very active on social media these days, but when he does post something, it’s usually a doozy.
Remember when Rob compared Kim Kardashian to “the b-tch from Gone Girl“? How about when he reminded us all of the awesomeness of Kanye in a tub full of doughnuts? Well, his latest might not be that memorable but it’s got a lot fans wondering what Rob’s deal is:
It’s the first time that Rob has shown his face on social media in a long time, but as you can see, he’s not showing much face at all.
The dude is rocking some sort of ninja mask, and he captioned the pic woth a bunch of devil Emojis, leading many to believe that he’s gone to a rather dark place.
We like to think Rob is just joking around, but there’s no denying that he’s going through a rough time at the moment, and it’s a bit worrisome that he’s deleted all of his previous Instagram posts.
Last month Rob was diagnosed with diabetes, and the news has reportedly taken a heavy toll on his psyche.
Family and friends have urged Rob to check into rehab or at least take his health more seriously, but it seems that for now Rob plans to continue hiding out from the world.
Perhaps this selfie is Rob’s way of hinting at a future comeback. Or perhaps it’s his way of telling his fans that he’s most comfortable behind a mask.
