Lady Gaga to VP Mike Pence You Give Christians a Bad Name ... Shame on Your Wife Too!!!

Lady Gaga went scorched earth on Vice President Mike Pence and his wife over the weekend … calling them terrible representations of what it means to be Christian.
Gaga was performing Saturday at the Park Theater in Vegas — as part of her new residency — and at one point as...

Fixer Upper Hosts Align with Target, Earn Ire of Christians

By their own account, Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines are not breaking up.

The beloved husband and wife, who are about to embark on their fifth season as co-hosts of HGTV’s Fixer Upper, shot down divorce rumors this week.

However, simply because all is well between Chip and Joanna, this doesn’t mean all is well between Chip, Joanna… and a handful of their fans.

Earlier this week, the reality stars announced that they’ve developed a home decor collection called “Hearth and Hand with Magonia” that will go on sale in Target stores across the country, beginning on November 5.

Wrote Chip as a caption to the above photo:

“Jo has poured her heart and soul into this new line, Hearth & Hand with Magnolia available at Target November 5th.

“We’re here with Bullseye at Target HQ today announcing it to all of their team members!”

Pretty exciting, right? A pretty cool next step for the home renovator and designer, right?

WRONG, according to many critics.

Because Chip and Joanna are known as evangelical Christians, and because Target allows transgender employees and customers to use restrooms and fitting rooms that best align with their gender identity, some Internet users think the couple ought to rethink this partnerships.

They’re total hypocrites, if not, argue these viewers.

“Why are u using Target?I thought youll were Christians. My friends & thousands of others r boycotting them because of their bathroom policies,” wrote one Twitter person, while others have added takes such as the following:

gaines hate

And here is what a couple Facebook followers wrote on the couple’s official page:

– As much as I love Chip and Joanna, not even their product will get me to shop at Target again. Sorry, I’ll look for another place to buy your product.

– Why would you sell at Target when so many wonderful shops would love to have your merchandise?

Sorry I won’t be able to buy it, haven’t set foot in there since they announced either gender can use dressing rooms and bathrooms.

The topic of Chip and Joanna’s religion has come up in the past.

They got into hot water last year after it was revealed that their pastor did not believe in gay marriage.

Neither Chip nor Joanna ever spoke on this subject themselves, not directly, but Chip did Tweet the following in response to the uproar:

“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. DO EVERYTHING IN LOVE.

“U know.. even as all hell ‘appears’ to be breaking loose. All I have to do is look at my 4 precious babies sleeping, or kiss Jo good morning and at least at that moment, at my house, all is right with the world.”

In this case, the stars have once again avoided the topic of religion or faith when discussing their Target deal.

“Despite our initial insecurities about partnering with a large retailer, Target has exceeded our expectations every step of the way,” Chip said on Tuesday, concluding:

“With our friends, our family and with the people we do business with, we are serious about continually finding common ground. We are thankful to get to work side by side with the people at Target.

“We believe we are going to build something really beautiful together and that our positive impact will be far greater now than it would ever be apart.”

Jacob Roloff SLAMS Little People/Big World Family, Christians in General

This should be a very happy time for the Roloff family.

Zach and Tori, after all, just welcomed their very first child into the world, helping to expand the brood made famous on TLC’s Little People, Big World.

But Jacob Roloff is here to spoil the celebration.

He’s here to once again talk openly about all the issues he has with his relatives, along with Christians in general.

Prepare to be third-degree burned by this hot take, readers!

“Christians as I have experienced them have assumed a real and damaging sense of superiority over all other belief systems,” wrote the 20-year old son of Amy and Matt Roloff on his new blog.

He added:

“They believe that their Mystic, Jesus of Nazareth, was the Supremely Gifted Mystic and that their book, The Bible, is Supreme in Knowledge and Law.”

And why is this a problem?

Because it leads to egotistical, selfish attitudes.

Continued Roloff in a rant that has gone viral:

“They have privately for so long deemed non-Christians as ‘needing help’ and diseased of the mind and spirit, condescendingly offering an empty platitude of the nature of ‘I’ll pray for you.’

“They don’t pray for you though, they pray for themselves, their spiritual security, and out of pity that you aren’t as fortunate as they to be ‘in the know.”

For these cited reasons, Roloff says he no longer considers himself a Christian.

This may not seem like a big deal to some, but it’s relevant because Jacob’s brother, Jeremy, and sister-in-law, Audrey, consider themselves to be dedicated, passionate, loyal Christians.

And they have used their own blog to make this viewpoint known, condemning such acts over the years as homosexuality, gender fluidity and pre-marital sex.

About a year ago, Roloff quit Little People, Big World in epic and memorable fashion.

He hadn’t appeared on the series for about 24 months at the time, but Jacob said he was besieged by people asking if he might make a return.

So he came out and gave them a simple answer: No. Never.

“For the sake of ‘the episode’ and ratings I’ve seen a lot of STORYLINES drawn up (loosely) about our lives,” Roloff wrote on Instagram, exposing the series as contrived.

He continued last July:

“And when I was standing here, behind the scenes and watching it from an outside perspective I just couldn’t stop laughing.

“Laughing at how hard the producers have to try to get us to follow the talking points, and at how ridiculous the talking points are.”

In conclusion, he slammed his devout Christian family as being a bunch of fakers.

“The family that is filmed is not my family,” he wrote.

“They are the Roloff Characters and I have scarcely anything in common with them, nor do I want to be a character myself.”

Wow. Amazing, right?

We respect Jacob for speaking his mind and we understand that he doesn’t want to be a part of Little People, Big World.

But can someone out there give this guy a reality show?!? He’s awesome.

We’d totally watch it.

Ben Seewald Slams Duggars: White Christians Are So Out of Touch!

In many ways, Ben Seewald is the ideal Duggar son-in-law.

He’s completely reliant on the family for his financial well-being; he can recite the Bible backward and forward; and his reverence for Lord Jim Bob seems to be complete and unwavering.

But there’s a rebellious streak in Ben that his in-laws are probably less than thrilled with.

If you watch Counting On online, you know “rebellious” isn’t exactly the first word that comes to mind when you think of Ben.

Still, unlike so many denizens of Duggar world, the dude definitely has a mind of his own.

Last month, we learned that Seewald supports Colin Kaepernick and his controversial protests against police violence targeted at African-Americans.

Shortly thereafter, the 21-year-old revealed that he will continue to support Black Lives Matter and use his platform to bring attention it.

The problems afflicting the nation’s most troubled communities has gained national attention of late, and clearly strikes a chord with Ben.

That may not seem like a particularly scandalous agenda, but you have to bear in mind that the Duggars and their fans are an extremely conservative lot …

Seewald has been harshly criticized for his views on social media, but he clearly has no intention of backing down.

His most recent Instagram post is a photo of a block of text that seems to sum up his position.

It reads:

Its so appalling how out of touch many white believers are with their black brothers and sisters in the faith (and Hispanic and others as well).”

“It makes me want to weep.”

“I see so much quick judgment and so little empathy. The flesh points a finger – but Jesus would have us seek unity and walk a mile in each other’s shoes.”

“Love demands this. Christ demands this.

“We must repent … but the sad thing is that so many are so preoccupied that they don’t even see it as an issue.

Not surprisingly, many of the comments were critical, with users admonishing Ben to “get educated” and using the #PoliceLivesMatter hashtag.

Some, however, were vocal in their support of Seewald.

“Thanks Ben Seewald,” wrote one commenter.

“I’m a 47 year old black mom of 2. You’re one of the main reasons I watch. Your authenticity is refreshing.”

Thus far, Ben has yet to express his views on Counting On.

Normally, we’d say it’ll never happen out of fear of alienating the show’s core demographic.

But with how hard the show’s struggling in the ratings lately, producers might welcome a bit of controversy.

Anna Duggar on Josh Duggar: He Betrayed Me & ALL Christians!

When the world learned that Josh Duggar had molested five young girls, four of whom were his sisters, Anna Duggar stood by his side.

Unfortunately for her, it wasn"t long after that that Josh was caught using the cheating website Ashley Madison to help him find partners for discreet affairs.

Eventually, news that Josh had paid porn star Danica Dillon for sex while Anna was pregnant went public.

Few thought the marriage could survive, but remarkably, Anna seems intent on making it work.

Currently, Josh is in rehab to be treated for addictions to sex and pornography, and Anna is participating in Jill & Jessa: Counting On –  a limited 19 Kids and Counting spinoff series that focuses on two of Josh"s sisters (and childhood victims).

Clips from the show have featured other Duggars condemning Josh for his actions, but the latest preview features Anna herself speaking at length about her husband"s misconduct for the very first time.

“It was definitely a hard thing,” she says, clearly holding back tears. “I think it is such a betrayal for a spouse to go through what we’re walking through.

"It was hard to realize that it was such a public thing, and so, not only was it a betrayal against me, but it was also a betrayal for those who call themselves Christian.”

In the past, the Duggars have been accused of attempting to gloss over Josh"s indiscretions, but clearly, Anna"s heartbreak is very real, and it looks as though Josh will have a long way to go before he can earn back her trust.
