Michelle Collins: Leaving The View!

Earlier this month, rumored swirled speculating that Michelle Collins was getting fired from The View.

Today, the ABC talk show confirms that Collins will not be returning next season.

“I have some bittersweet news to share – Michelle Collins is leaving the show,” executive producer Candi Carter wrote to staff in an e-mail obtained by Entertainment Weekly.

“A gracious presence on stage and off, she asked smart questions, made us laugh and will always be part of The View family.

“We wish her great success with some exciting new projects ahead. 

“Please join me in thanking Michelle for her hard work, great humor and many contributions this season to The View.”

Anyone who’s ever worked in an office knows that e-mails bombs from the boss like this are purposely written to come off as politically correct and uncontroversial, but we imagine there’s more to the story.

However, a source told People that “the parting was amicable,” although Collins won’t make another appearance at the table.

The source added that the show “would have been happy to have her back but understandably she wants to focus on other projects – we’d be happy to have her back on the show down the line to talk about them.”  

It’s kind of a bummer. With her quick wit and down-to-earth personality, Collins is one of the hosts we actually liked. 

Unfortunately, in the year that she’s been a full-time host, the comic became embroiled in a few kerfuffles during the show.

ABC reportedly lost advertisers after running a segment in which Collins criticized a nurse.

Then in October, Collins was scrutinized after making fun of presidential candidate Carly Fiorina’s appearance.

Whatever her “other projects” may be, we hope to see more of Collins in the future.

Michelle Collins: Fired from The View?

Stop us if you’ve heard this before, but…

… The View may soon be undergoing yet another cast shake-up.

In news broken by Variety, ABC producers will let Collins go after just one season on the talk show.

She will supposedly finish out the summer and then receive her walking papers.

Collins joined the program in July of 2015 after an extended trial period, during which she impressed viewers, as well as moderator Whoopi Goldberg.

She was especially popular due to her well-timed zingers and commentary.

It wasn’t long after Collins became a permanent co-host for Season 19, however, that ABC bosses “experienced buyers’ remorse,” according to the Variety story.

The network is yet to actually comment on the alleged Collins’ dismissal, except to say the following in a statement:

“Michelle is smart, opinionated and funny.

“She’s been a great addition to the panel this year. When we are ready to make an announcement about next season, we will.”

Collins has been at the center of a couple show controversies:

First, ABC lost advertisers after a discussion where she criticized nurses.

Then, in October, she came under fire for making fun of Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina’s face.

There had previously been a rumor that Raven-Symone was also set to be fired. But that chatter has lost its momentum.

The View, of course, has cycled through an endless number of panelists over the past couple years.

Rosie O’Donnell has come and gone twice. Neither Sherri Shepherd nor Jenny McCarthy lasted very long. Rosie Perez was around approximately 12 minutes.

Assuming Goldberg’s contract gets renewed in August, the rest of the Season 20 will consist of a combination of current co-hosts such as Joy Behar, Paula Faris, Candace Cameron-Bure and maybe one of the following options:

Ryan Collins: The Fappening Hacker FINALLY Arrested!

Back in August of 2014, nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence began to circulate online, much to the actress’ shock and chagrin.

Shortly thereafter, private, explicit photos of dozens of other young female celebrities were leaked, signaling the start of an event that Internet users, with their usual, cheeky sense of humor, dubbed “The Fappening.”

Now, TMZ is reporting that after an 18-month investigation, authorities have finally apprehended one of the main masterminds behind one the shocking security breach.

Insiders say Collins, a resident of Lancaster, PA has already pled guilty to violating the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, admitting to breaking into the computers, smart phones and hard drives of more than 100 people, at least 18 of them celebrities.

Collins allegedly manipulated Apple iCloud and Gmail accounts using a sophisticated phishing scheme.

The hacking reportedly took place between November 1, 2012 and September 4, 2014.

There’s no word yet on why Collins released the photos when he did, or whether or not he worked alone.

Collins could face up to five years in prison, but insiders say he’s already working out a plea deal, and will probably only serve 18 months.

At this time, none of the actresses involved in the hack have spoken publicly about the arrest.

Phil Collins to Re-Marry Third Ex-Wife, Orianne Cevey

Their 2008 divorce cost him $ 46.76 million, but it’s all good because true love conquers all.

Phil Collins and his third ex-wife, Orianne Cevey are officially back together, and will probably throw a second wedding.

“Our separation was the wrong decision,” Cevey told Swiss newspaper SonntagsBlick.

“I now call Phil my husband again. We are so close that it does not actually make a difference if we are married or not, but we are determined to get married for a second time one day.”

The couple reconciled in 2015, when Cevey was left partially paralized following complications from surgery on a slipped disc. 

“We were always very close, because of the children… just last year, I realised that he is indeed the man of my life,” Cevey added.

“I spent four months in hospital, and he took wonderful care of Matthew and Nicholas [the couple’s two sons]. That was a great relief to me… we are meant for each other.”

Collins confirmed the news to Billboard Magazine last month in New York.

“We went back because we realised we had made a mistake,” Collins explained.

“A lot of people don’t have that chance, or don’t give themselves that chance.  Our young sons Matthew and Nicholas are like a dog with two tails. I mean, they’re just so happy.

“They’ve got their mum and dad back together, so it’s a good place to be at the moment.”

Collins has three other children –  Lily Collins, 26, Simon, 39, and Joely, 43, from two previous marriages.

Nick Jonas & Lily Collins: DATING?!

Gawsh, Nick Jonas, you’ve been kind of acting a little slutty lately, dontcha think?

Just a couple days ago, the “Jealous” singer admitted to giving up the goods to hottie Kate Hudson, then revealed that he’s had gobs of sex throughout his young life. 

And now, Nicky boy is said to be getting friendly with the illustrious Lily Collins, according to Us Weekly.

The pair reportedly “spent the night laughing together” at a bowling alley in Los Angeles a couple weeks ago, then took off on a ski trip in Mammoth the following week.

“Nick really likes Lily,” a source tells the magazine.

So far, we’ve received no word from Lily’s people, so we’ve no idea how she actually feels about him. 

Since leaving the Jonas Brothers, Nick has made it a point to post scandalous nearly-nude photos every chance he gets, practically begging for female attention.

Not that we’re complaining, amiright, ladies?

“Nick’s single and having fun,” according to a friend. “Right now it’s not exclusive.”

Good save, Nick. Best not to fess up to wanting more when you’re still unsure of this gorgeous woman’s true intentions.

In a recent interview, the Jo Bro spoke of a “beautiful connection” with Kate, but it appears that it simply didn’t last.

The mom of two likely knew all along that it could never be serious with a 23-year-old piece of eye candy who drops his pants for seemingly anyone willing to give him the time of day.

Yesterday, Nick posted an adorable photo of his two-year-old niece Alena to Instagram – obviously a clear message that he’s ready to build a nest and start a family.

As for Lily, could she possibly be taking the professional boy toy seriously? Or is she just using him like the rest of them?

We can only hope she’s goes gentle on Nick; the boy seems to be in a fragile state.

Jackie Collins — Best-Selling Novelist — Has Died At 77

Truly heartbreaking.

Cherished and adored for her work — over 500 million copies of her novels have been sold worldwide — Jackie Collins brought inspiration and entertainment to countless fans.

So it is with complete regret that we must tell you of her death.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer nearly seven years ago, the author of books such as Lucky and Drop Dead Beautiful passed away at the age of 77.

In a statement released Saturday, her family says:

“It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the death of our beautiful, dynamic and one of a kind mother, Jackie Collins, who died of breast cancer today. She lived a wonderfully full life and was adored by her family, friends and the millions of readers who she has been entertaining for over 4 decades. She was a true inspiration, a trail blazer for women in fiction and a creative force. She will live on through her characters but we already miss her beyond words.”

Collins mostly kept her illness private, confiding in her three daughters — Tracy (54), Tiffany (48), and Rory (46).

In her final interview, the beloved Jackie reflected on her life and career, saying:

“Looking back, I’m not sorry about anything I did. I did it my way, as Frank Sinatra would say. I’ve written five books since the diagnosis, I’ve lived my life, I’ve traveled all over the world, I have not turned down book tours and no one has ever known until now when I feel as though I should come out with it. Now I want to save other people’s lives.”

She leaves behind her three daughters, her sister Joan Collins, her brother Bill, and six grandchildren.

Private memorial services will be held in both the United States and the United Kingdom. Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Organization in the States and Penny Brohn Cancer Care in the U.K..

Rest in peace, Jackie. We’ll miss you.

Best selling novelist Jackie Collins passed away Saturday, she was 77-years-old.

Collins has sold more than 500 million novels globally and all 32 of her books appeared on The New York Times bestsellers list. 

Collins’ family posted a statement on their Facebook saying, “It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the death of our beautiful, dynamic and one of a kind mother, Jackie Collins, who died of breast cancer today.”

Jackie was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer six-and-a-half years ago.

Jackie Collins Dies; Famed Novelist Was 77

Jackie Collins – the bestselling novelist who more than 500 million copies over the course of her career – has passed away at the age of 77.

Collins had been battling breast cancer for several years. Her family confirmed the news of her death in a statement issued to People magazine.

“It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the death of our beautiful, dynamic and one of a kind mother, Jackie Collins, who died of breast cancer today,” the statement reads.

“She lived a wonderfully full life and was adored by her family, friends and the millions of readers who she has been entertaining for over 4 decades.

“She was a true inspiration, a trail blazer for women in fiction and a creative force. She will live on through her characters but we already miss her beyond words.” 

Collins was the younger sister of actress of Joan Collins, who starred in two films based on Jackie’s work. 

With an estimated net worth of nearly $ 100 million, Collins was one of the world’s wealthiest authors at the time of her death.

Despite being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009, she kept up her prolific output, publishing five books in the final six years of her life. She was rumored to be working on a play when she died.

Collins is survived by three daughters, whom she regarded as her closest friends.

ABC Denies Nicole Arbour"s Claims, Says She And The View Host Michelle Collins Were Never Backstage At The Same Time!

So much for Nicole Arbour‘s story…

After the YouTuber most famous for shaming fat people alleged that Michelle Collins had some awful things to say about nurses backstage during a taping of The View, ABC has come out swinging in defense of their host!

According to a representative for the network, Nicole did not tell the truth when she alleged Collins called nurses ‘wannabe doctors.’ The ABC rep said:

“Nicole and Michelle were never backstage at the same time. Michelle was on the stage from the moment the show started until after the show ended. Nicole was brought down to the backstage area after the show started.”

Hmmm… if that were the case, then it sounds like this fat-shaming YouTuber couldn’t have possibly heard anything Collins would have said, about nurses or otherwise!

Fat Shaming YouTuber Nicole Arbour Alleges Michelle Collins Secretly Bad-Mouthed Nurses Backstage On The View: "They"re Wannabe Doctors"

Nicole Arbour, the YouTube fat-shamer who produced the video Dear Fat People, went on The View this week to discuss her controversial viral video — and when she was there, she claims she witnessed another controversy on set!

The hosts of The View are of course in some hot water over comments they made recently about nurses, and now Arbour is inserting herself right into the middle of this controversy, too!

On Thursday night, Arbour went on SiriusXM Radio’s Opie and Jim Norton Show, where the revealed that the hosts of The View had been discussing nurses backstage after the show:

“Backstage, I heard the girls being like, ‘Oh yeah, our nurse jokes didn’t go over well so we have to apologize because they’re Tweeting us too much.’ And I’m like, ‘Y’all are p*****s.’ See, I can sit in my jokes and be like, yeah, I made them, I think it’s funny. Whatever. But they go on there and make a fake apology.”

More shockingly than that, Arbour alleges that Michelle Collins specifically bad-mouthed nurses back stage, away from the cameras:

“When when the cameras weren’t rolling, Michelle [Collins] was like, ‘Yeah, that’s not a real profession. They’re wannabe doctors."”

Wait, WHAT?!?!
