Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk Welcome First Child!
Forget the movie Joy for a moment.
Bradley Cooper now has a bundle of joy at home to celebrate.
Indeed, the handsome actor and his beautiful model of a girlfriend welcomed their first child into the world about two weeks ago, insiders have confirmed to People Magazine.
We wish we had more information to deliver regarding this blessed piece of news.
But Cooper and Shayk comprise one of the most private couples in all of Hollywood.
We don’t know the baby’s gender, measurements or even exact birthday at the moment.
We do know, however, that the boy or girl is the first child for the Russian supermodel the 42-year old actor, who have been dating since the spring of 2015.
They rarely attend red carpets as a couple and really aren’t seen out in public all that often.
A source confirmed the exciting pregnancy news in November, not long after Shayk’s appearance on the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway (above).
Neither Cooper nor Shayk have actually commented themselves on the addition to their family.
In February, though, the model could not hide her baby bump during a vacation to Disneyland, where she rocked a Minnie Mouse-ears headband and enjoyed a meet-and-great with Pluto.
We’ve got a feeling she’ll be heading to that famous location often over the next decade or so.
“They are just a very sweet couple,” an anonymous friend told People late last year.
They’ve also managed to make this relationship work despite a hectic travel schedule for one of the world’s busiest actors and one of its most prominent models.
“It seems L.A. is now their home base,” this same source said at the time. “When they are together in L.A., they are very low-key and mostly hang out at home.”
What does the future hold for the couple, aside from parenthood?
Will wedding bells soon be ringing?
In December, the attractive twosome sparked engagement rumors after Shayk was spotted with a lovely emerald ring on a particular finger while out and about in California.
So it’s possible Cooper and Shayk have already agreed to tie the knot.
But if they won’t reveal the gender of their child, they aren’t going to announce their engagement to the world, either.
We’ll just need to wonder and speculate until we hear more.

Bradley Cooper Attends DNC, Causes Republican Meltdown
So Bradley Cooper attended the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday night.
This really should not have been a noteworthy occurrence, considering the vast number of celebrities who vote Liberal and who are supporting Hillary Clinton this year.
But… see… Cooper portrayed Chris Kyle in the 2014 movie American Sniper, a war hero who is held in very high estimation by many Republicans.
As a result, Twitter users on the Right took Cooper"s DNC attendance as a major slap in the face, seeming to somehow believe that he is Chris Kyle and that he committed an act of treason against the party.
(And here we were this entire time, thinking Cooper was really a space raccoon.)
This confusing led to some harsh words from Republicans on social media, followed by some mocking words from Democrats in response. It was beautiful.

Bradley Cooper: Did He Make Irina Shayk Cry at Wimbledon?
What did you do, bro?
Bradley Cooper looked like he was in the dog house on July 10th as he and girlfriend Irina Shayk watched Andy Murray play Milos Rionic during the Gentlemen"s Championships at Wimbledon.
Cooper, a massive tennis fan, was seen looking at the Russian model as if to say, "Really? We"re going to do this here?"
Meanwhile, Shayk wiped at her eyes and refused to look her beloved in the eyes. Even when he cracked a smile.
It was super awkward, but not awkward enough for viewers at home to record!
"Bradley Cooper done f***ed up," one user Tweeted as he showed the video.
"I think Bradley Cooper is in a fight," another wrote.
Cooper, 41 and Shayk were among a star-studded crowd – including Benedict Cumberbatch, Hugh Grant and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – who watched Murray beat Rionic in a tiebreaker.
But who wants to watch tennis when there"s a real fight going on?
Another user wrote, "The best replay from #Wimbledon Bradley Cooper appearing to be in a fight with Irina Shayk during final."
Cumberbatch"s wife had the pleasure of sitting on Cooper"s other site, so you can only imagine what she overheard while trying to watch the match.
Soon-to-be former Prime Minister David Cameron was a few rows in front of them, but he was too far away to hear anything and therefore IS USELESS TO US.
Grant was actually a row behind Shayk, so many he was able to eavesdrop.
The Daily Mirror reports that Cooper"s ex, Suki Waterhouse was sitting nearby, so that explains a lot.
Things weren"t always this bad for Cooper and Shayk.
Just a few days ago, these two lovebirds watched the quarter-finals. Shayk was seen playfully biting Cooper"s shoulders, he smiled. It was great!
Cooper and the 30-year-old have been dating since April 2015. Up until watching this video, I totally forgot they were together.

Anderson Cooper Defends Pam Bondi Interview
Shortly after the deadliest shooting massacre in U.S. history, Anderson Cooper conducted an interview with Florida attorney general Pam Bondi.
The Q&A went viral because Cooper challenged Bondi to reconcile her reaction to the tragedy that took the lives of over 50 men and women inside a gay nightclub… with her previous stance on the LGBT community.
Back in 2014, Bondi was a strong opponent of gay marriage.
She actually said in court at the time that LGBT individuals who were fighting for marriage equality were trying to do “harm” to the people of Florida.
Now, in the wake of this horrible tragedy, Bondi has been championing her efforts to set up a hotline that allows spouses to learn information about their husbands and wives, who may have died or been injured in Omar Mateen’s terrorist attack.
That’s a great thing to do.
But if Bondi had her way, gay and lesbian people would not be permitted to marry… which means their significant others would not have the legal right to learn private, medical information such as this.
“Do you really think you’re a champion of the gay community?” Cooper asked Bondi on Tuesday.

In reaction to what she felt were cheap shots, Bondi claimed in a radio interview with WOR 710 in New York on Wednesday that she was led to believe her chat with Cooper would focus on donation scams for the victims and their families.
Instead, “when he posted the clip, he cut out the entire first portion that discussed people donating to legitimate funds,” she said, arguing that all the interview did was “encourage anger and hate.”
(CNN has since put the entire conversation on its website.)
On air yesterday, Cooper responded to Bondi’s objections.
“For the record, my interview was not filled with any anger,” he said.
“My job is to hold people accountable, and if on Sunday a politician is talking about love and about embracing ‘our LGBT community,’ I don’t think it’s unfair to look at their record and see if they have ever actually spoken that way publicly before, which I’ve never heard her say.”
It may be rare for the public to see a reporter actually hold a politician accountable for his or her words and actions, but that is clearly what happened here.
“The fact is attorney general Bondi signed off on a 2014 federal court brief that claimed married gay people would ‘impose significant public harm.’ Harm,” Cooper continued.
“She spent hundreds of thousands in taxpayer money, gay and straight taxpayers’ money, trying to keep gays and lesbians from getting the right to marry.”
Cooper also made headlines on Monday when he had to fight off tears while reading the names of those who died in the weekend’s Orlando shooting.
In this case, he concluded explaining his side of the Bondi interview as follows:
“Good people can and do disagree on [gay marriage] – everyone has the right to their own opinion, thank goodness – but Miss Bondi is championing right now her efforts to help survivors.
“With the very right which allows gay spouses to bury their dead loved ones – that’s a right that would not exist if Miss Bondi had her way. I think it’s fair to ask her about that.
“There is an irony in that.”

Anderson Cooper Breaks Down on Air: WATCH...
Anderson Cooper opened his CNN program on Monday night by reporting live from Orlando.
He also did so while fighting back tears as he read through the names of everyone who died at the hands of Omar Mateen on Saturday night and Sunday morning.
Mateen, of course, is a name we wish we did not know.
The 29-year old opened fire with an assault weapon inside of a gay nightclub called Pure on Saturday, taking multiple people hostage for several hours and eventually being killed by police in a shootout.
But not before he murdered 50 innocent patrons and aligned himself with ISIS on a 911 call during his attack.
He was responsible for the largest number of deaths in one shooting in U.S. history.
On Monday afternoon, a rundown of all 49 victims was released to the public.
“They’re more than a list of names. They were people who loved, and were loved. They were people who had families and friends and dreams,” Cooper said on air, broadcasting live from near Pulse.
"And the truth is, we don’t know much about some of them. We want you to hear their names and a little bit about who they were.”
The anchor, clearly deeply affected by the tragedy, started to falter while relating details about Edward Sotomayor Jr., a 34-year-old travel agent.
The network did not have any background information on this victim.
“We think it’s important that you hear their names,” Cooper said, crying.
Cooper, of course, is gay himself.
Not that one has to be gay in order to be crushed by this tragedy; one need only be human.
But it"s not hard to see why those in the gay community would take it even harder than others.

Anderson Cooper and Mario Lopez Tease Live Co-Hosting Possibility
Hey, they aren’t saying no!
With Michael Strahan scheduled to leave Live! on May 13*, two of the ex-football star’s rumored replacements were asked on Thursday about taking over the gig and sitting alongside Kelly Ripa every morning.
(*Unless producers move up his departure date once again.)
We’ll start with Anderson Cooper.
A very good friend of Ripa’s and supposedly one of her two ideal choices for the job, Cooper is busy these days at CNN, of course.
And he’ll get even busier once the 2016 Presidential election officially comes down to Donald Trump versus Kelly Ripa.
“Listen, I love Kelly, and Kelly is the heart and soul of that show,” Cooper told Cohen on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live last night, adding:
“It’s gonna go on and continue to be great and I wish Michael the best in his new endeavor.”
Okay, cool. Great. Nice response.
Now… can we get an actual response to the question please?
“It would be a dream to work with Kelly but nobody’s offering anything,” Cooper finally said.
It’s hard to interpret that in any other way except for: if you offer me the job, I’ll take it… right?
Cooper, meanwhile, appears to have competition from Mario Lopez.
This television personality was a guest of Ellen DeGeneres and the topic of Ripa’s new co-host was broached with him as well.
“That’s very flattering. Very flattering. You’re so nice,” Lopez responded when DeGeneres said she’d heard rumor that he’s in the running.
“I know, people were saying that. I love Kelly. I’ve guest hosted with her a few times she’s awesome. I actually did a movie with her husband Marc who’s a real good guy.”
Again… answer the question please!
Lopez confirmed he’ll at least serve as a guest host of the supposedly demanding diva and then said the following when Ellen asked straight up if he might be the permanent replacement:
“Well, I got to go over everything with Mrs. Lopez. She’s the real boss of the house so we’ll see what she has to say about that.”
Would you want to see either Lopez or Cooper as Kelly’s co-host?
Sources say ABC may wait all summer before they announce an official replacement.
So we’ve got plenty of time to speculate!
