Josh & Anna Duggar: Exchanging Love Letters, Working on Marriage
It’s been almost four months since Josh Duggar entered rehab for sex addiction after being caught cheating on wife Anna Duggar with an adult film star.
During that time, countless rumors about Anna leaving Josh circulated online, but it now appears that the long-suffering mother of four has every intention of sticking around.
Yesterday, we learned that Anna had visited Josh in rehab in order to grill him about his indiscretions and discuss the future of their relationship.
Today, a source revealed to Entertainment Tonight that Josh and Anna have been exchanging love letters for several weeks, and Anna is no longer considering seeking a divorce:
“Anna is planning on getting back together with Josh, that’s just how it goes,” the source says. “The family was taught to have a new level of forgiveness towards Josh.”
Despite her belief that their marriage can overcome Josh’s infidelities, Anna struggling with the idea of seeing her husband for the first time in nearly 16 weeks:
“Seeing Josh was really hard for Anna,” the source says. “She cried about how much she misses him and teared up while they prayed.”
Anna has been slowly returning to public life in recent weeks.
She’ll appear in the reality miniseries Jill & Jessa: Counting On that debuts on TLC this weekend, and today, she shared a photo of her daughter Meredith that appeared to have been taken at the “Duggar compound” in Tontitown, Arkansas.
Sources say Josh has been doing everything he can to keep Anna in his life during his lengthy rehab stay.
There’s no word yet on whether Josh and Anna will have a fifth child or renew their wedding vows, but insiders say Josh hopes to do both once he completes his treatment program.
