Fred Goldman to O.J. Simpson: You Owe Me $70 Million, Jerk!

It’s been three months since O.J. Simpson was released from prison, and we have to say – so far, things are going pretty smoothly.

O.J. hasn’t some forward as Khloe Kardashian’s father, but he also hasn’t murdered anyone, so we consider it a net positive.

The Juice is one of like three things you’re still allowed to joke about in 2018, so we like to poke fun at him whenever we get the chance.

But it’s important to bear in mind that there’s nothing remotely funny about Simpson’s (alleged) crimes.

Though he was acquitted of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman in his criminal trial, the former NFL running back was found liable in a 1997 civil case and ordered to pay $ 33.5 million to Goldman’s family.

As he has yet to fork over a dime in the 21 years since, that amount has more than doubled due to penalties and interest and O.J. is now indebted to the Goldmans in the amount of roughly $ 70 million.

Quite understandably, Ronald’s father, Fred Goldman, is tired of waiting, and this week, he filed a motion to force Simpson to pay what he owes.

Goldman is asking a judge to order O.J. to turn over revenue that he “has and could make from any autograph or memorabilia signing, promotion, or other commercial enterprises.”

Since that revenue accounts for 100 percent of O.J.’s earnings these days, he obviously has a good deal riding on the outcome of this case.

It might seem like an open-and-shut scenario, as Simpson’s debt is more than two decades old, but it seems the Goldmans have already hit a snag:

“The judge said if you want to do that, you are going to have to identify who is paying Mr. Simpson,” Goldman’s attorney David J.Cook explained in an interview with Radar Online.

“It’s a temporary pause in our tempo, but it won’t stop us. We can call it a low-level speed bump.”

O.J.’s attorney, Ronald P. Slates, claims his client has done everything in his power to make good on his debt to the Goldmans.

He says that Simpson offered the Goldmans $ 5 million and 25 percent of all future earnings at the

In response to Slates’ plea for clemency, Cook reminds us that there is no mercy for the Goldmans, who live with the loss of their son every day:

“They live with the loss … and anyone who sees their children die before they do, the loss of a child can be very consuming,” he told Radar.

“Fred rejects, as many people do, what’s called ‘closure.’ Closure for anybody who has lost a child is an obscene word.”

We’ll have further updates on this story as more information becomes available.

O.J. Simpson Wants the Goldman Family MURDERED, Former Cellmate Claims

As you’ve no doubt heard by now–the Juice is officially loose.

Yes, O.J. Simpson was released from prison earlier this month after serving nine years for his role in a … robbery.

And not surprisingly, there are some folks who are less than thrilled that the former Buffalo Bill and probable murderer is a free man.

(The jury’s still out on which of those chapters from O.J.’s past is the most shameful. Murder’s bad, but telling people you used to be a Bill isn’t gonna win you any friends, either.)

At 70, O.J. probably doesn’t present much of a threat to anyone, but that fact is likely cold comfort to the many who have run afoul of Simpson over the years.

Sources say Kris Jenner lives in fear of Simpson, having frequently expressed her belief that he was unfairly acquitted of double murder.

(Kris’ late ex-husband, Robert Kardashian, was a close friend of O.J.’s and an instrumental part of his defense team.)

But as concerned and outraged as Kris and her family might be, their negative feelings toward Simpson likely pales in copmparison to the anger and fear felt by the family of one of his alleged victims, Ron Goldman.

According to Radar Online, the Goldmans fear for their lives following a report that Simpson conspired to have them killed while he was behind bars.

“O.J. has a big problem with the Goldman family — and, at this point, I wouldn’t put anything past him,” Simpson’s former cellmate, Vernon Nelson, tells Radar Online.

Nelson adds that at one point, Simpson asked for his help in hiring a hitman to murder the Goldmans.

“I want you to help me kill the Goldmans,” Simpson reportedly told Nelson.

“Those motherf–kers have been a pain in my ass since the trial, and they jump at every chance to tear me down in the media! Do you know how much money I’ve lost because of them? I’m sick of it!”

It’s not clear why O.J. would expound on his motives like a colorful villain who just strapped James Bond to some sort of slow-moving murder device, but Nelson goes so far as to detail exactly how he would’ve been rewarded if he’d agreed to the plan.

Nelson says O.J. offered him $ 100,000, vowed to pay for a top-notch legal team to help Nelson fight for an earlier parole, and even offered to plug his books in TV interviews.

That last part is significant, as according to Radar, Nelson is “a prolific writer” with serious literary aspirations.

Which means, of course, that he would have motive to make up a salacious story in order to score some free publicity.

Mind you, we’re not saying Nelson is lying–but only because we’re not big on publicly disparaging convicted violent criminals.

Ron Goldman: Family of Murder Victim Slams The People v O.J. Simpson

Even if you"ve never watched an episode, you"re likely familiar with the controversy surrounding the current FX miniseries The People v O.J. Simpson.

Whether it"s the show"s bizarre commentary on the Kardashian family, or its portrayal of Simpson as an unhinged, inscrutable charmer, producers have been criticized for treating the trial the same way that millions of Court TV viewers regarded it in 1995 – as soapy entertainment.

The father and sister of Ronald Goldman, who was stabbed to death alongside Nicole Brown Simpson on that fateful night in Brentwood, have been making their feelings about the series known and they spoke out against it yet again during a recent interview on Steve Harvey"s show.

"I think it"s really insensitive to not consider the families at all," says Kim Goldman in an interview set to air today.

“I don’t know what the probative value is of the show. It’s everywhere all over again and people are, ‘Oh, the acting is riveting and this is such a great plot line,’ and I’m thinking, ‘These are murders.""

“This show just kind of ripped the Band-Aid right back off, poured gallons of salt in it. And then they’re gonna put the Band-Aid off and they’re going to leave us to be."

Indeed, it does seem as though producers have focused entirely on turning the grisly crimes into marketable entertainment, with little focus on the trauma suffered by the families, or the lessons to be learned from Simpson"s long history of domestic violence in the years leading up to the murder.

But as Harvey says in the clip below, that"s Hollywood.
