Miranda Lambert Makes Surprising Confession: Yep, I"m a Homewrecker!

Even if you’re not a country music fan, you’re probably familiar with the name Miranda Lambert.

Of course, the reason for that likely isn’t the cross-over appeal of Lambert’s work, but rather the tabloid obsession with her love life.

It all started when Miranda and Blake Shelton got divorced and he moved on to Gwen Stefani in unsettlingly quick fashion.

Shortly thereafter, Miranda began dating Anderson East.

The couple got serious in a hurry, but that relationship ended as abruptly as it began.

These days, the songstress is involved with Evan Felker, or — as he’s more commonly known in the tabloids — “Miranda Lambert’s married boyfriend.”

Needless to say, the situation has resulted in some negative press and some lots of very awkward situations.

There was the time that Miranda was called out by Felker’s wife on social media.

And of course, there was the time Shelton shaded Lambert by suggesting on Twitter that she has a history of unsavory behavior.

And there probably would have been many more such scenarios, were it not for Miranda’s decision to get in front of the situation.

In a remarkably candid interview with HITS Daily Double, Miranda basically told fans they can go ahead and think whatever they want about her — as a lot of it is probably true.

“I am who I am. I am honest about being flawed,” she told the outlet.

“That’s all I can be, you know? I cuss. I drink. I get divorced and get my heart broken. I break hearts. I can’t do or be that anymore, or it’ll drive me crazy. [laughs] I won’t be any good anymore.”

Lambert adds that if fans want the truth about her personal life, they can get it straight from the horse’s mouth simply by listening to her music.

“I try, but it’s not up to me,” Lambert said when asked about her efforts to keep her private life private.

“With social media, it’s a whole other thing. And it’s such bull-sh—. I’m thankful for the drama of it all, because it gets sillier and sillier,” she added.

“They make up so many lies, no one can know the truth. The truth is it’s in my music if you listen close enough.”

We appreciate what Miranda is doing here, essentially doing the haters’ work for them by calling herself out.

We guess the theory is that if you’re honest about who you are and you’re accepting of yourself, your critics will get tired of putting you down.

We hope it’s effective — but sadly, we suspect there’s no bottom to the well of hate that is social media.

Minka Kelly Hits Back at Homewrecker Accusations: F--k Off!

When nasty rumors surface — and they can happen to any of us, not just to celebrities — a lot of people hold their heads high and ignore it. A lot of the time, that’s the right call.

But what do you do when someone goes on your own social media account and accuses you of being a homewrecker?

If you’re Minka Kelly, you call them out. And you don’t mince words.

The stunningly gorgeous Minka Kelly is dating the shockingly handsome Jesse Williams.

Minka Kelly is perhaps best known for her role on the hit series Friday Night Lights.

Jesse Williams, in turn, is best known either for his role on Grey’s Anatomy or perhaps for using his fame as a platform for Black Lives Matter, advocating to bring an end to police killings of unarmed, nonviolent black people across the US.

Also, Jesse Williams has piercing blue eyes that make him very distinctively recognizable.

These two very quietly began to date over this past summer (yes, summer is over, even though it still feels like the endless hellscape of early August).

The thing is that this was just a few months after Jesse Williams and Aryn Drake-Lee divorced after five years of marriage.

Some people wondered if Jesse Williams had put the cart before the horse and begun dating Minka Kelly before things fell apart between him and Aryn Drake-Lee.

In other words, they wondered if Jesse Williams had performed some Kevin Hart shenanigans. Not the part about being blackmailed with a sex tape — just starting a new relationship before the old one actually ended.

While it’s true that many marriages fall apart due to cheating, that’s not always the case.

And just because someone manages to find a new relationship quickly doesn’t mean that they and their new datemate were cheating during the old one.

Still, people wonder. We suppose that they couldn’t help it.

What someone certainly could have helped, however, was doing the social media equivalent of accusing Minka Kelly, to her face, of being a homewrecker.

Because one Instagram user commented:

“I hope the cheating rumors aren’t true. It would be disappointing.”

That’s about as polite a way of phrasing a very rude accusation as we can think of.

But it’s still super freaking rude.

We have to imagine that the commenter didn’t imagine that Minka Kelly herself would respond.

Minka Kelly replied, addressing the rumors that she was a homewrecker:

“They’re not. Hate for you to be disappointed. Glad I could clear that up for you. Now f–k off.”

You know, that’s a hostile reply, but it’s pretty warranted, right?

We should note that Jesse Williams also addressed these rumors.

Jesse Williams had a cameo in Jay-Z’s Footnotes for 4:44, in which he was also extremely blunt about his feelings about the rumors.

“I was in a relationship 13 years.13 real years, not 5 years, not 7 years, 13 years and all of a sudden mother f–kers are writing think-pieces that I somehow threw a 13-year relationship — like the most painful experience I’ve had in my life like with a person I’ve loved with all of my heart — that I threw a person and my family in the trash because a girl I work with is cute.”

Remember, no matter how Jesse and Minka might feel about each other now, the “homewrecker” narrative would boil down to him finding her cute and the two of them hooking up because of it.

So we don’t think that he’s insulting his actual, real-life relationship with Minka Kelly, here.

Instead, he’s just insulting the theories about the two of them.

That’s pretty fair, right?

And you know what? Even if the two of them had started dating while Jesse was still married, that would be Jesse’s wrongdoing — not Minka’s. We need to stop pretending that a third party can “steal” a partner from their spouse.

That’s not how this works.

LeAnn Rimes: It"s Not Easy Being a Homewrecker!

Just when we were really beginning to believe that Leann Rimes and Brandi Glanville were ready to make peace, Mrs. Rimes-Cibrian goes out of her way to throw seven kinds of shade across multiple media platforms.

First there were the competing butt selfies, which felt like something from a remake of Single White Female where the villain is just as obsessed with herself as she is with the hero.

Now, after a few weeks of keeping relatively quiet (by her standards) LeAnn has an album to promote, which means she’s back to drumming up drama by telling her sob story and letting the world know how hard it is to be LeAnn.

In a recent interview with the Chicago Tribune, LeAnn was asked about life as a stepmom and her mildly controversial decision to sing about her stepkids in her new songs.

LeAnn whiffed at the softball question and babbled on about how much she likes to “rile people up.”

“I think I’m realizing I’ve always been able to move people, just getting people to talk. I’m talking about a subject that doesn’t get written about,” she said.

“I know society these days, I know people are wanting to find everything they can to pick things apart, but I have to write from my heart and my experiences, and I fully own them. Those are mine to share.”

The theme of the piece (chosen by LeAnn’s PR team, no doubt) was that LeAnn is no longer a “magnet for scandals,” so naturally she decided to talk about her affair with Eddie Cibrian … aka the most scandalous part of her “career.”

“I’m not the only one who’s ever been through that situation,” Rimes said, as though she’s some sort of war hero.

“I don’t know if a lot of people in that situation have the guts to even talk about it. I don’t know if I would’ve had the guts to fully embrace all of that if I hadn’t gone through it as publicly as I did.

“Sometimes you’ve gotta say, ‘Screw it.’ You’ve gotta own it.”

We were almost with her, until she started giving herself props for “owning” her extramarital affair.

In any event, it sounds like a really personal album – ya know, despite the fact that LeAnn stole the title track from another artist and has yet to acknowledge it.

We’re sure on her next record she’ll have a song about how hard it is to be a plagiarist.

Gwen Stefani: Miranda Lambert Called Me a Homewrecker!

Another week, another shot at getting the story right.

OK! Magazine has it on good authority (JK) that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are finally over, because Stefani is insecure and can’t deal with being harassed by Shelton’s ex-wife, Miranda Lambert.

OK! claims that Lambert got ahold of Stefani, and called her a homewrecker.

This displeased Stefani, who accused Shelton of letting her number “slip to his ex.”

“Miranda got ahold of Gwen’s cell-phone number and started calling, sometimes as many as four times in one day,” a source told the tabloid, also saying that Lambert called Stefani a “redneck harlot.”

Shelton was all “chill out, babe,” which didn’t sit well.

“He thinks Gwen made a mountain out of a molehill,” the source said, “and the whole situation made him see another side of her he didn’t know was there.”

And so, it seems the sun has set on yet another Hollywood love story.

“Gwen decided that if Blake wouldn’t stand up for her and tell Miranda off, she didn’t want to be with him,” said the source.

Except, Stefani went on Ellen this week and was all giggles and smiles about Shelton (the episode airs February 25th), insisting that she thought he wouldn’t be brought up.

DeGeneres complied, then suggested they look at photos, all of which happened to include Shelton and Stefani.

One in particular showed Stefani on her beau’s lap at February 14th’s 2016 Pre-GRAMMY Gala and Salute to Industry Icons.

“They didn’t have enough chairs at that event?” DeGeneres joked. “You had to sit on Blake’s lap?”

This sent Stefani into a fit of giggles.

“I love you,” she told her friend.

Tl;dr – Stefani and Shelton are still together.  Soz, OK!.
