Kanye West Leaves Hospital; Now What?!?
Kanye West has finally been released from the hospital.
After more than a week of being under the supervision and care of physicians, following what many have described as some kind of “nervous breakdown,” the rapper is now back home.
According to X17, TMZ and other outlets, he’s resting comfortably and spending time with Kim Kardashian and his kids, North and Saint.
The rapper was hospitalized on November 21 after some sort of altercation with an employee at a gym.
Initial reports claimed he was restrained by paramedics after his personal physician, Dr. Michael Farzam, called 911 because he knew Kanye was in need of professional help.
There was talk that West was even dubbed a Section 5150 case – meaning he could be involuntarily confined to a hospital because he was considered a danger to himself or others – but that appears to not have been the case.
Regardless, however, amidst talk of depression and paranoia, Kanye was in the hospital for a total of nine days.
Kardashian remained closely by his side throughout, while the Internet wondered how we did not see this coming.
In the days leading up to his hospitalization, West ranted against Beyonce, claimed he would have voted for Donald Trump and ended a show on his Saint Pablo Tour after just three songs.
Following the last incident listed above, he canceled his tour altogether.
Just a few hours later, he was admitted to the hospital.
Now a free man, West is far from in the clear.
He will still be undergoing psychological and medical treatment for the foreseeable future and you won’t be seeing him on the road any time soon.
As mentioned earlier, Kanye had already called off the remainder of his 2016 tour dates prior to these medical issues taking over his life.
But he had planned on resuming the concerts in early 2017, a plan that has now gone by the wayside due to his fragile state.
(For anyone wondering: Yes, West has an insurance policy that will kick in and ensure he doesn’t lose much money as a result of these cancelations.)
As for what actually triggered Kanye’s breakdown?
There are basically two overlapping theories.
The first centers around Kim’s robbery in Paris on October 3, the scary incident in which Kardashian was bound, gagged and forced to plead for her life while armed assailants took jewelry from her apartment.
As you can imagine, this caused a great deal of stress for West, with sources saying he’s been unable to sleep and has simply been consumed with the state of his wife, along with ways to keep his family safe in the future.
Secondly, November 21 marked the nine-year anniversary of Kanye’s mother dying as the result of plastic surgery complications.
That also happened to be the day of his official breakdown.
Coincidence?
Many think not. Some have said that Kanye never fully processed or dealt with his mother’s passing and that the combination of this anniversary and Kim’s trauma was simply too much for him to handle.
And it’s not as though we’re talking about the most stable individual anyway, right?
West always acted like he was on the edge of sanity and/or stability.
So we’ll see how this impacts him going forward and we’ll wait to see the next time we hear from Kanye West.

Kanye West Spending Thanksgiving In Hospital: Will Kim Kardashian Be With Him?
Kanye West is set to spend Thanksgiving in hospital after being admitted just a few days ago for what some are describing as a “psychotic breakdown.”
We know a lot of you probably knew it was only a matter of time before something like that happened.
His behavior is genuinely all over the place. You never really know which celebrity he’s going to take issue with next. It must be exhausting for his friends and loved ones.
Perhaps his most iconic moment was the time the 39-year-old ruined Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the MTV VMAs, saying Beyonce deserved to win the award.
That was definitely a low blow, and it seems like he still has some serious beef with Taylor Swift. Heck, the guy seems to have beef with everyone.
Trying to keep track of his feuds is no easy task.
Alas, he is in hospital and will probably be getting the help he needs. His wife, Kim Kardashian rushed to his side as soon as she heard what went down with him.
Per Us Weekly, Kanye will definitely be spending Thanksgiving in the hospital.
“Kanye will be in the hospital for Thanksgiving and isn’t leaving,” an insider revealed, adding that his wife “has barely left his side.”
“Kim has been very concerned and supportive,” the source adds.
“Seeing Kanye like this is scary for her.”
We can only imagine how scary it has been for Kim.
I mean, she was held at gunpoint in Paris just weeks ago and has been keeping a low profile ever since.
This was most likely one of the things that tipped Kanye over the edge.
Being away on tour would have meant he would have been apart from his wife and children.
It would have been difficult for him to just continue on with the tour with the stress piling up.
The best thing about all of this is that he is getting the help he needs.
There’s every possibility that West could disappear from the spotlight as part of his recovery.
It won’t be easy trying to recover with a bunch of cameras following him around.

Gabby Douglas Misses VMAs, Back In Hospital For Serious Mouth Infection
While viewers were wondering where Gabby Douglas was at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards, the gold medalist was battling a pretty serious mouth infection.
So serious that it sent her back into the hospital on Sunday night.
“Gabby is back in the hospital tonight being treated for a seriously infected past mouth injury,” the gymnast’s publicist told People Magazine.
“She continues to have deep swelling and adverse reactions to medication.”
Prior to that, Douglas Instagram’d a photo of herself in bed, wishing she were with her four teammates, Aly Raisman, Simone Biles, Madison Kocian and Laurie Hernandez , who presented Beyonce with Best Female Video.
“Out of the hospital & resting comfortably! #FinalFive so sad I can’t be with u all to present tonite@MTV thank u xoxo #VMAs #myview,” Douglas Instagram’d.
When only four of the five Rio 2016 teammates arrived on the red carpet, viewers wondered when Douglas was.
“I think she’s feeling a little better, but she’s staying home as a precaution,” Biles told People.
“We’re sad she couldn’t be here to enjoy this with us. We miss her!”
Douglas has not had it easy during and after this summer’s Olympic games. She didn’t put her hand over her heart when the national anthem play after her team won gold in the all-around competition. Instead, she said, she “stood to attention.
Douglas’ mom, Natalie Hawkins, came to her defense.
“I don’t think respecting your country or your flag boils down to whether you put your hand over your heart or not,” she told Reuters.
“When the Star Spangled Banner is played, most military members either salute or stand to attention.
“We grew up in the military community,” Hawkins added. “My mom spent almost 30 years in the military, my dad’s a two-time Vietnam vet.
“Because of that it was so insulting that they would accuse my daughter of being unpatriotic when we are so tied to the military family.”
All controversy aside, we hope Douglas gets well soon.

3-Year-Old Falls From Roller Coaster, Rushed To Hospital
It"s the third amusement park accident this week involving a child.
A three-year-old boy was riding the Rollo Coaster at Idle Wild and Soakzone Amusement Park outside of Pittsburgh when he fell off. The ride uses safety bars instead of seatbelts, so it"s believed he was ejected from the the ride – built in 1938 – on its last turn, according to CBS News.
Though the boy was talking when paramedics took him to a local hospital, an update on his condition has not been released. Police sources told CBS that he was on the ride with his older brother, 10.
The wood ride is 40 feet at its peak, and can go up to speeds of 25 miles per hour. The ride does have a height requirement of 36 inches, according to CNN, and any riders under 48 inches must be accompanied by an adult.
Police sources told CBS that the boy was on the ride with his older brother, 10 when he was ejected from his car "on the last turn," and thrown on tracks near a fence.
"The boy was conscious while being treated on site and airlifted to a local hospital," a park spokesperson told reporters, declining to give more information.
The ride was shut down immediately following the accident, but did pass inspection on August 6th, according to People.
It has been a traumatic week for families whose children were victims of amusement park tragedies. On Sunday, 10-year-old Caleb Schwartz was decapitated after flying off of his raft at a Kansas water park.
One day later, three girls – ages 6, 10 and 16 – fell out of a ferris wheel that had flipped over mid-air at the Greeneville County Fair in Tennessee. A witness recalled seeing the six-year-old fall "right beside" him.
"The other two came right behind her," he said.
The six-year-old remains in critical condition after suffering brain injuries.

Porsha Williams Collapses in Parking Lot, Rushed to Hospital
We have an update on some major drama facing The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Only this time, the drama was not scripted ahead of time by producers.
On Monday night, Porsha Williams collapsed in a parking lot outside an Atlanta shopping center.
According to TMZ sources, the situation appeared to be dire at first, with the reality star gasping for air as soon as she hit the ground.
Local fire and rescue personnel soon arrive on the scene after numerous witnesses called 911.
Williams was then taken to Piedmont Hospital.
An insider tells the celebrity gossip site that Williams is now recovering nicely and the incident was a result of her simply not eating.
Back in March, Williams fainted on board an airplane, causing us to wonder if something else serious is going on.
If both of these collapses can just be chalked up to Williams starving herself, someone should probably intervene and ask Williams why she is starving herself.
This clearly is an unhealthy lifestyle.
As those who watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online know well, of course, Porsha is coming off a traumatic few months.
She got into it with Kenya Moore during the program’s eighth season reunion special this spring, with Moore accusing Williams of always stirring $ hit up.
Later on, Cynthia Bailey got into the act, yelling at Williams for spreading rumors about her then-husband infidelity.
But that was just the tip of the scandalous iceberg.
What about the chatter that Porsha herself was sleeping with Peter Thomas?
Some sources have shot down such talk, but it refuses to go away.
The overall point simply being that Porsha Williams is likely pretty darn stressed out these days.
Yes, she may have simply passed out on a couple of occasions recently due to low blood sugar.
But that also may mean she isn’t taking good care of herself.
Let’s hope this latest incident isn’t symbolic of something far more detrimental to her health.

John Hinckley Jr: Ronald Reagan Shooter RELEASED From Psychiatric Hospital!
John Hinckley, Jr. – the man who shot President Ronald Reagan in a 1981 assassination attempt – has been released from the psychiatric hospital where he has resided since 1981.
Though Reagan survived the attack, he was seriously wounded along with several others.
A Secret Service agent and a police officer were both wounded, and press secretary James Brady was paralyzed by one of Hinckley’s bullets.
A 1994 handgun violence prevention law is commonly referred to as “the Brady Bill” in Brady’s honor.
When Brady passed away in 2014, his death was ruled a homicide.
Hinckley, who was judged not guilty by reason of insanity during his trial, has been in treatment at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Washington, D.C. for the past 35 years.
This morning, Judge Paul Friedman ruled that Hinckley should be released, due to the fact that he no longer represents a threat.
“The court finds by a preponderance of the evidence that Mr. Hinckley presents no danger to himself or to others in the reasonable future if released,” Friedman stated in court today.
Hinckley will likely be released before August 5.
He will be confined to his home for the next year, and his actions will be monitored by a court-approved psychiatrist.
If he adheres to guidelines laid out by the court, all restrictions to Hinckley’s freedom will likely be removed by the end of 2017.
The 61-year-old has been ordered not to contact any members of the Reagan family or Jodie Foster – the actress whose performance in the 1976 film Taxi Driver prompted a violent obsession in Hinckley.
Reactions to the news of the would-be assassin’s release have been mixed.
Many have applauded Friedman for his objectivity in focusing Hinckley’s progress and not the infamy of his deeds.
Others believe Hinckley should spend the rest of his life behind bars.
The 1981 verdict prompted a massive public outcry and led to several states revising their laws governing when the insanity defense could be used.

Kailyn Lowry Rushes Son to Hospital, Shares Frightening Story With Fans
Kailyn Lowry only recently became a single mom again when she separated from husband Javi Marroquin, but it seems she’s already experiencing the challenges of parenting on her own.
According to Radar Online, Kailyn’s son Isaac was rushed to the hospital on Sunday night.
Sources say the 6-year-old began showing troubling symptoms late last night.
Kailyn took him in to get checked out, and the boy is resting comfortably at home.
“He had a really high fever so Kail just wanted to get it checked out rather than wait for the doctor to be open today,” says one insider.
“He’s home and fine now.”
Kailyn hinted that something was wrong on Twitter last night, but she didn’t go into specifics.
“I hate the doctors office,” she tweeted at one point.
Apparently the visit didn’t take very long, because less than an hour later she had resumed normal Twitter activity.
Which in this case meant joining the rest of us in wondering what the hell the latest gaming trend is all about:
“Wtf is this Pokemon sh-t?” Kailyn tweeted.
Like we said, it sounds like everything is back to normal in the Lowry household.
It also sounds like Kailyn can handle any challenges that single motherhood throws her way.
She has yet to work out a custody arrangement with Marroquin, but it’s looking like she’ll retain primary custody of their son.
Her Instagram bio now reads, “Single mom doing whatever it takes.”
We’d say that just about sums it up.
