Mischa Barton Apologizes for Wildly Inappropriate Instagram Post

Mischa Barton is not perfect, people.

Anyone who watched her performance as Marissa Cooper on The OC is well aware of this fact.

But the actress (former actress?) has taken to Instagram in order to drive this point home in the form of an apology.

Barton came under major fire this week when she addressed the sad situation of Alton Sterling being shot dead by police in Louisiana.

The tragic incident took place on Tuesday.

Based on the video (below), it certainly appears as if Sterling had already been detained by officers and placed on the ground at the time these cops opened fire, ending his life on the spot.

In response to the seemingly senseless death, Barton wrote the following on her social media account:

I’m truly heart broken to watch videos like the #altonsterling execution.

This may have been going on forever in the United States but thank god the pigs get caught on camera now. Its unthinkable and an embarrassment to America. The country I was brought up in.

Somebody make change. We need gun control and unity. And a real President so think about that when this election is around the corner. The world is a precarious place right now.#stop #reflect and #act appropriately.

It’s hard to take issue with any of these words, right?

So, what was the problem with Barton’s post?

She included the following photo along with it:

Somehow, it did not occur to Barton that an image of her relaxing in a bikini on board a yacht might not be the most appropriate setting in which one ought to touch on the topic of racial injustice.

After deleting the photo, yet still receiving a great deal of backlash, Barton shared the following Mea Culpa on her Instagram account today:

“I’m human, I’m not perfect, and I’m sorry if my Instagram post went out of context. I didn’t mean to offend anyone.”

We can’t say we’re big fans of the I’m not perfect defense, but whatever. It’s better than no apology at all, right?

Farrah Abraham: Gone Too Far With This Inappropriate Pic of Sophia?

Farrah Abraham has been taking a lot of heat lately – and this time, it’s not because she’s screaming at every Tom, Dick and Harry who crosses her path or starring in a new lesbian sex tape.

The Teen Mom OG personality has come under fire for pimping out her seven-year-old daughter Sophia, who is apparently now a child model.

Last week, fans were not pleased to see Farrah post a pic of Sophia modeling a bikini during a professional photo shoot.

“When will child services get involved and take her child away for her sexualizing her in this manner?” wrote one user on Instagram.

And now a new pic of the child is causing a brand new uproar among fans.

In the pic, Sophia is partially submerged underwater as she poses seductively for the camera in a full face of makeup.

The child looks far older than her years in the pic, and fans fear Farrah may be causing irreparable damage to her daughter by pushing her into the exploitive modeling industry at such a young age.

“OMG sorry to say this But Farrah is going to lead her into Teen Pregnancy the rate she’s going … SO SAD it rally is,” one reader scolded.

Another critic held nothing back as she unleashed her fury on the mother and sex tape star:

“Poor kid. She’s gonna be molested at any time now because you OBJECTIFY you own child and she is learning how to be a mini you!” the user wrote.

“If it weren’t for your wealth CPS would take her. You are a horrible mother. You basicly pimp you ill behaved demon spawn for profit and she will pay the worst price.”

Earlier in the year, Farrah was slammed for sharing a pic of Sophia in Hawaii wearing a coconut bra and grass skirt, but by comparison, the pic seemed fairly harmless.

Sophia and her mom just appeared to be having some fun at a luau, but these newer pics exude a far more adult-oriented context.

Is Farrah taking it too far? Are these pics no big deal or should she just let Sophia be a kid?

Josh Duggar Returns to Public Eye...In EXTREMELY Inappropriate Place!

It’s been two months since Josh Duggar returned home to Tontitown, Arkansas after half a year of in-patient treatment for his sex and pornography addictions.

In the weeks since his release, Josh has been keeping a low profile, essentially hiding out at the Duggar compound to avoid the prying eyes of his small-town neighbors.

But Josh couldn’t stay hidden forever and last week, he finally emerged from seclusion like some sort of latter-day Boo Radley. 

The main difference being, of course, that the local children actually have good reason to be frightened of Josh.

Perhaps not surprisingly, Josh didn’t show his face in Tontitown, but instead surfaced 750 miles away in Sevierville, Tennessee.

The venue for his triumphant reemergence? Old MacDonald’s Farm mini-golf course!

Yes, the Duggars chose the most family-friendly place imaginable for Josh’s long-awaited-by-no-one return.

Although in fairness, it apparently wasn’t their choice.

According to In Touch, the family was reluctant to bring Josh along on a recent road trip, but like owners of an especially aggressive pitbull, they eventually decided they’d be taking a greater risk by leaving him at home.

“They seemed a bit nervous,” a source close to the Duggars tells the tabloid. “But they agreed.”

Not surprisingly, some fellow golfers weren’t thrilled by the idea of sharing the mini-links with a known sexual predator.

“Three families with young girls were unhappy Josh was so close to them and left the golf course when they saw him and Jim Bob,” says one witness.

“The parents were not comfortable,” adds another onlooker.

“The staff tried to be as polite as possible to the angry parents, but it seemed there was little they could do to stop Josh from being a customer.”

Apparently, the Duggars were in town for the homeschool graduation of longtime family friends Carlin and Trace Bates of Bringing Up Bates fame.

“I don’t know if Josh and Jim Bob were aware of the problems their presence was causing at the mini-golf course,” one witness tells In Touch.

Oh, we’re guessing they were aware.

The Duggars live in a of 2,400 and news that Josh molested five young girls broke almost a year ago.

We’re sure the family is quite accustomed to dirty looks by now.

Chelsea Houska FLIPS on Adam Lind For Inappropriate Photos of Daughter! Does She Have a Point?

If you watched Teen Mom 2 Season 7 Episode 3 this week, you know that Chelsea Houska was upset over some photos that Adam Lind posted on social media.

For once, these weren’t graphic photos of Lind himself, but images of the former couple’s 6-year-old daughter, Aubree.

“Is this post Adam just made of Aubree extremely inappropriate?” Chelsea asked when she saw the pics.

“She’s too old for that because there’s creepy people,” her friend replied.

When Houska texted Lind to remove the photos because they were “not appropriate” and “Aubree’s not a baby anymore,” the notoriously volatile baby daddy lost his cool.

“Kidding me?” There is nothing bad about that,” Lind texted back. “What the f–k.”

“As a father, you would think he would be looking out for her, ” Houska told her friend. “Wouldn’t you take that down right away? I would be like, ‘F–k, I did’t even think of that."”

Houska even consulted a lawyer on the matter, but was informed that she had little legal recourse.

Even so, the pics have been deleted, and Teen Mom fans have been debating over whether or Chelsea was right to react the way she did.

So allow us to settle this once and for all: Yes, she was.

This wasn’t a family photo album where he posted these pics, this was his Instagram page with over 100,000 followers.

There’s no way he knows all those people, which means it’s not cool for him to post that kind of pic.

As Chelsea said repeatedly, his daughter is not a baby anymore.
