The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 17 Recap: Naughty or Nice?
After finally seeing Apollo Nida in prison on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 17, is Phaedra Parks ready to move on?
Yes and no, it turned out.
If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online, you know their history, and you know that feat is much easier said than done.
Especially with the feds involved. But we’ll get to that in a bit, as it was one of several components to a relatively drama-free finale.
Yes, drama-free.
While there were seeds of future drama sowed here and there, it may have been the tamest season-ender in the show’s eight years.
Consider that the bulk of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 17 was devoted to one of Phaedra’s over the top parties.
And an uncomfortable massage between Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas that we wish we could unsee but never can. Thanks Bravo.
One thing we can expect to play out dramatically at the reunion starting next week is the high tension between Parks and Kandi Burruss.
While Phaedra was away visiting Apollo, federal agents were apparently tipped off about the whereabouts of her husband’s possessions.
Nida owes restitution for his crimes, big time, which means his valuables are fair game for the feds – and they came a knockin’ alright.
Search and seizure visits at both Kandi and Cynthia’s homes were quite conveniently timed, and Phaedra was clearly the prime suspect.
She wasn’t about to cop to it – yet, at least – but you can expect this to come up again. As for Parks’ beef with Kandi’s husband Todd?
According to Todd, Phaedra’s promise to pay him for the video was only half-kept. Literally, she only paid him for half of it, he claims.
Watch out at the reunion.
Elsewhere, Kandi and NeNe Leakes made up, and Sheree Whitfield and her ex-husband Bob worked on their reconciliation, slowly.

Mindy Mann: Who is Gwen Stefani"s Allegedly Naughty Nanny?
Rumors continue to swirl around Gwen Stefani.
Is she dating Blake Shelton? Yes, despite the singer’s odd denial of this relationship, which followed a statement by her rep confirming it as fact.
Is she pregnant with Shelton’s baby? We somehow doubt it.
Did husband Gavin Rossdale carry on a lengthy affair with nanny Mindy Mann? We don’t know… but we’re intrigued by the possibility!
This allegation initially surfaced via an Us Weekly cover story, though it has since been backed up by other, semi-reputable outlets.
According to various sources, Stefani learned of Rossdale’s infidelity via messages and naked photos of Mann on the family iPad.
OUCH! And may we also add: OOPS!
We cannot verify this story, but we can remark on the above Facebook photos of Mindy Mann. She sure looks a whole lot like Gwen Stefani, wouldn’t you say?
Here’s what else can can report about Mindy Mann:
- She hails from Australian.
- She was recommended to the couple by mutual friends.
- She idolized Stefani. “If Gwen would eat something or do a workout or get a new handbag, Mindy would do the same thing,” an insider told Us Weekly.
- She was brought in to help raise children Kingston and Zuma in 2008. But she stuck around and was working for the couple when they welcomed their third son, Apollo Bowie, in 2014.
- She (allegedly) started sleeping with Rossdale in 2012.
We feel badly for Stefani is this story is true.
Then again… she did go on to bag Blake Shelton. One could do far worse when it comes to snaring a handsome rebound.

Jessica Simpson"s Kids Hack Into Phones And Find All The Naughty Pictures! Watch Her Dish On #ParentingProblems With Jimmy Fallon!
Jessica Simpson has been pretty busy since the last time she appeared on a Jimmy Fallon-hosted late night show!
Since the 35-year-old last saw Fallon in 2010 on NBC‘s Late Night, she popped out two kids with husband Eric Johnson!
Simpson gave Fallon some advice on what to expect when his kids enter their toddler years, which apparently includes “pooping in the grass”??

The Take My Breath Away songstress then revealed that her kids are better at technology than she is — and warns that they will take people’s phones and “somehow find the pictures not to post.” Yikes!
