NeNe Leakes To The Real Housewives of Atlanta: See Ya!

NeNe Leakes will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta for the upcoming ninth season.

There’s been a lot of mixed reports about whether Leakes would be participating on the next season of the reality hit, but she has now set the record straight.

Her days of being one of the housewives are behind her and she’s moving on

This is a huge blow to the series as Leakes has got to be the best person on it.

She can effortlessly create drama out of nothing and the show will not be the same without her.

NeNe has left before, so there’s every reason to believe that she could pop back up in a future season.

With Leakes out of the show, would producers really approach someone else to stop by for a return visit?

It sounds that way.

Leakes revealed that she thinks Kim Zolciak-Biermann could be set to appear in her place.

What a crazy turn of events. Right?!

“I heard once they couldn’t work their deal out with me, they went to Kim Zolciak,” Leakes revealed.

This makes it sound like Kim was second best for producers, but NeNe was quick to back her claim up.

“I’m just telling you the truth!”

Everyone appeared to be stunned by the declaration.

NeNe knows she is a draw with viewers.

That’s why she was wheeling and dealing to get a huge pay rise a few months ago if she returned.

Leakes went on to explain that she she only wanted to guest star on the show here and there, but a deal could not be reached.

“When we couldn’t work the deal out on me making appearances, then they went to Kim to work the same thing, I suppose,” Leakes said.

“I’m assuming she took it.”

Fans would no doubt settle for a return from Kim, but there’s one huge thing that would hold all of this up: Kim is leaving Atlanta

Yes, with Kroy Biermann signing with the Buffalo Bills, it means a change in locale for the couple.

This certainly throws a wrench in that theory.

Now, there is every possibility she could pop up every so often, but her appearances wouldn’t make much sense if she doesn’t even live in Atlanta.

The last time Kim was seen on the show, she stormed out of a lunch date with the ladies after a huge argument.

It wasn’t the best exit, but it was thrilling to watch it all play out.

Maybe she has unfinished business.

There’s no telling what would go down if she was to return to the show, but might it spell the end for Don’t Be Tardy?

Ratings were sinking for Zolciak’s reality series, so maybe she could return to try and stay in the public eye for longer.

A new season of Don’t Be Tardy kicks off next week, but there’s no definite answer as of yet whether it will serve as a swan song for the reality series.

The show has its moments, but it isn’t all that.

It can be tedious to watch.

Leakes closed off her chat about the show with some words about Kim.

Well, as nice as Leakes could muster.

“I think it’s going to be really odd,” she admits.

“Kim hadn’t been around the show for a while. It’s going to be odd having Kim back. But I think the fans want to see her though.”

What do you think about this?

Should Kim return?

Cynthia Bailey: Is She Leaving The Real Housewives of Atlanta?

As previously reported, the marriage between Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas is over.

But might the relationship between Bailey and the show that made her famous also be coming to an end?

Yes, according to a rumor started by some blog called “Tamara Tattles.”

It states that Bailey is moving on from Thomas is ways that go beyond mere emotion; she has also put the home she used to share with her ex-husband on the market.

The four bedroom, four bathroom residence was listed this week for $ 699,000.

Where might Bailey end up if she moves permanently away from Atlanta?

She could try out Los Angeles, where she already spends a great deal of time due to the presence there of her daughter, Noelle.

And she may also just drop off the celebrity gossip radar for a bit, relocating to her relatively new lake house.

Bailey has been spending the past several days there, happily sharing gorgeous snapshots on her Instagram account.

“So excited #viewfrommywindow #backyard #peace #serenity #Godswork #beautiful #1life2live #myhappy50tome #loveatfirstsight #lakebailey #baileyboat #gonefishin,” she wrote as the caption to one photo of the water.

Just “the Lake,” she penned in regard to the picture above.

It should basically go without saying that Bravo cameras won’t venture out to film Bailey in either of these locales.

You may need to watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online next year without Cynthia Bailey as a part of the main cast.

Do you really think she’ll walk away from the spotlight, though? From her salary?

Will Bravo executives even want her back if the drama between her and Thomas can no longer be a storyline?

So many questions, so few answers at the moment.

But here’s a look back at various Housewives who have tried to move on from the franchise in one way or another…

NeNe Leakes: Will She Appear on The Real Housewives of Atlanta?

NeNe Leakes is pulling out all the stops to ensure that she’s getting what she deserves if she were to sign up for The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 9.

She might have only been part of the previous season as a part-time cast member, but it’s clear that she is the one that viewers tune in for.

Leakes, after all, is pretty much everywhere and she kind of deserves a good pay check if she’s such a huge presence on the show.

“NeNe has a lot of production deals in the works,” a source close to the 48-year-old reality star told Radar Online.

This doesn’t come as a huge shock. When you have someone who can effortlessly pull in the viewers, why wouldn’t you try and milk it?

It should also come as no surprise that NeNe was walking away with nearly $ 2 million per season for the reality hit. This some of money is way higher than the rest of the ladies on the series.

If the others want to come close to that pay check, they are going to need to give us a reason to watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online.

Producers obviously know that the chances of that happening are slim, so that’s why they continue to pursue NeNe because they know the show won’t be the same without her input.

The thing is, NeNe knows perfectly well that she’s a hot property, so that makes negotiations tough.

Sticking with one show for so long has got to get a little tedious after a while, so it’s only natural that Leakes would be weighing up her options away from the franchise, this source adds:

“And that is what she wants to do, more than just be a housewife but she knows where her money comes from and it comes from Bravo.”

The star can easily work whatever material she’s given in order to turn it into a story that will resonate with the masses that watch the program.

“NeNe is not dumb. She does exactly what needs to be done on RHOA,” the insider explained to Radar.

“She is not afraid to fight with anyone and her take on every story is what the fans want. No one cares about the random ladies on the show.

“NeNe is the one they tune in to watch. So she will be back, earning the big bucks and laughing all the way to the bank.”

So… that’s that then. There’s no official confirmation as of yet about her return, but the consensus is that if producers add enough zeros onto her check she’ll be back.

Do you think she’s worth mega bucks?

Atlanta Mom Breastfeeds Boyfriend "Cause That"s Totally Normal

Jennifer Mulford of the Atlanta area is thrilled to be in an Adult Breastfeeding Relationship (ABR) with boyfriend Brad Leeson.

We don’t know if she made up that acronym or not, but we’ve all had that secret fetish at some point in our lives, are we right people?!

Mulford, 36, took time off from her job as a bartender to establish breastfeeding – which she hasn’t done in 20 years – just for this reason.

Because she has not given birth to a baby since she was a teenager, Jennifer and Brad, also 36, need to “dry feed” every two hours.

Try to aim away from your computer or mobile device whilst vomiting.

The dry-feeding thing is designed, of course, to fool her body into thinking she is feeding a child so her breasts start producing milk.

Why the preoccupation with this unusual sexy pastime?

If mammary serves (sorry), Jennifer was single when she stumbled across a website about ABR, and from there, she was obsessed.

“When I read about the bond breastfeeding that could create between two people I was envious,” she told the venerable Sun (UK).

“I have always enjoyed my breasts being touched during sex more than anything else so I knew I would enjoy it,” Jennifer added.

With this idea in her head, she began searching for men who be open to the idea of adult breastfeeding. How did that quest go?

“When I read about the pure joy it brought others, I was desperate to seek out a partner to share an emotional bond with.”

“I used dating sites, put messages on ABR forums and even put an advert on Craigslist,” she says, “but I drew a blank.”

“I started to think I’d never get to try adult breastfeeding.”

It’s tough going out there. Finally, however, she started discussing the idea with Brad, an old boyfriend from school. He was game.

“I thought it was the perfect time to bring up adult breastfeeding – and see if he’d be interested,” said Jen, unable to believe her good fortune.

“We were talking and Brad told me he had a thing for big-breasted women, and that size had always been a factor in his relationships.”

“It was like a light switched flicked in his head,” Mulford recalls. “I could tell from his voice that he was curious and excited.”

After he did his own research into ABR, he knew he wanted to be more than friends: “At that moment I knew that I had a partner for life.”

“We both wanted the same thing out of the relationship – a magical bond that only breastfeeding an achieve.”

Brings a tear to your eye, doesn’t it?

Not that ABRing doesn’t bring its own set of challenges – especially given that Jennifer hadn’t breastfed for over 20 years at this point.

She had no milk to feed Brad with, so the cute couple need to induce lactation by dry-feeding and pumping her breasts every two hours.

Admit it, you’re gonna try this later.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Recap: So Much Beef

On The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 20, everyone came together, put all differences aside and left on a happy note.

LOLOLOLOL!

If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online with any regularity, none of what transpired last night should come as a big shock.

There were some interesting revelations, though.

Perhaps most notably, Porsha Williams is taking anger management classes. Hey, better 20 years late than never as the saying goes.

The fact that the women feel uncomfortable confronting her is kind of a problem, and Williams’ history is even worse than we thought.

Yes, we know Porsha beat down Kenya on camera once, but it turns out Bravo hasn’t even aired all of her violent altercations before!

Truly wild. Hopefully, a little anger management might help Porsh with conflict resolution and actually taking responsibility for her actions.

On a happier note, NeNe Leakes is happy to be back as the RHOA “mom,” despite admitting she was burned out and needed a break.

As for Sheree’s “recurring” role this season after three years on the sidelines, she may be angling for a full-time role on Season 9 too.

The reunion showed us that the rift between Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks has yet to heal, and don’t expect that to change soon.

With federal agents seizing Apollo Nida’s possessions at Kandi’s home, and a dispute over who was behind that, there’s a lot of tension.

Not to mention the whole exercise video thing. It never ends with these folks. Kim Fields, meanwhile, is clearly not a fan. Of any of this.

Don’t expect her back next season, especially not after Chris Morgan insisted he isn’t gay and took offense at Kenya insinuating this.

Like her frequent sparring partner Porsha, Kenya literally cannot offer up a sincere apology or admit when she’s wrong about anything.

Even Andy Cohen was more irritated than usual with the subtle gay bashing he felt was going on, and frankly, it’s hard to blame him.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Recap: Kenya vs. Porsha ... Again!

Sunday on The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, Porsha Williams kept spreading rumors, while Kandi Burruss defended Kenya Moore.

Kenya, meanwhile, continued to play the victim … as always.

Oh yes, The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 19 did not lack for fireworks, s–t talking or instigation across the board.

Short story: Porsha thinks Kenya likes to stir s–t up.

“You’re always doing something that gets to physical fighting,” Porsha said, while Kenya responded, “Three incidents regarding violence.”

“You’re the one with the problem.”

Williams zinged the “one-eyed African” Kenya dated, while Moore snapped, “unless there’s a d–k in it, you don’t even know what you’re saying.”

We don’t even know what that means, but it should give you an idea about the level of discourse that played out on Bravo last night.

Also, it didn’t end with Porsha Williams beating down Kenya Moore and getting the cops called this year, so we’ll consider it progress.

It was also far from the only beef you’ll see when you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online, to be sure. See: Porsha vs. Cynthia!

There was a nice rehashing of the boat ride from hell a few months back, where Porsha and Cynthia came at one another, and HARD.

“I just turned 49,” Cynthia recalled. “I never had a physical altercation in my life. It’s an isolated incident. It will never happen again.”

Just wait. This is Porhsa we’re talking about. Later, Cynthia got pissed that Porsha was spreading rumors about Peter cheating on her.

Porsha did not exactly look to smooth that over, saying that such gossip is “all over Atlanta. Walk up to any girl who’s 19 years old.”

Damn.

While Peter Thomas told her to back that talk up with names, Williams did not do so, and Cynthia said she and Peter are “in a good place.”

Maybe if she convinces herself of that enough, it will be true? Anyway, Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks also rekindled their own beef.

Basically, Phaedra is shielding her sons from the imprisoned Apollo Nida, and Kandi feels this isn’t smart, since he will get out someday.

Also, Kandi did not take kindly to anyone downplaying Glenn’s actions, saying they only refused to back up Kenya because it’s Kenya.

“I’m the scapegoat,” Kenya said, incredulously.

“Don’t play the victim,” Phaedra responded.

But she does it so well. So well.

Stacey Dash to Join The Real Housewives of Atlanta?!?

Stacey Dash was not exactly expected to show up at the 2016 Academy Awards. We remain perplexed over what she was doing there.

But now a celebrity gossip website is claiming that the former Clueless star may soon appear someplace even more unexpected:

On Bravo!

As a Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member!!!

According to MediaTakeOut – one of the least reputable sites on the entire World Wide Web – producers are getting ready to give Kim Fields the boot after just one season on the show.

In her place, the series has allegedly made the “BIGGEST signing in Atlanta Housewives history” by agreeing on terms with Dash.

Moreover, Dash will supposedly get paid so much money ($ 2 million per year!) that the other cast members will need to “take a pay cut” in order for the network to afford her.

If true, this salary would make Dash the highest-paid Housewife in franchise history.

Why would the program even consider it?

Love Dash, hate Dash or really, really, really hate Dash… you cannot deny that she would be amazing for ratings.

This is someone who once said only bad girls get raped and who has made a living by saying pretty much anything on Fox News and other outlets.

She would be unafraid to speak her mind, that’s for sure.

Will this signing actually take place?

Producer Andy Cohen appeared to shoot down the rumor on Twitter over the weekend, but crazier things have happened.

And it’s not as if Dash has a large number of offers she’s weighing at the moment.

Would you be more or less likely to watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online if Dash were a cast member? Would you be sad to see Fields go if she really has been fired?

And can you believe just how many douchebags have existed on reality television?!?

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Recap: Kenya vs. Kim!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta reconvened for the first of three reunion shows on Sunday night, and there was plenty of beef served.

Or at least rehashed.

The Reunion Part I, officially The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 18, zeroed in on Kenya Moore’s feud with Kim Fields.

After Kenya declared that she was the star of the show, NeNe Leakes jumped out of her seat and b!tch slapped her right then and there.

Just kidding, but you know she thought about it.

Moore claimed that since she – she! – brought Kim into this exclusive group, she shouldn’t be biting the hand that feeds her, so to speak.

Andy Cohen looked as puzzled as we were.

“Listen, I’m not [taking] anything away from the fact that she was a child star,” Kenya said, passive aggressively dissing her adult career.

“She’s also continued working since then,” Andy said.

”Yes, in the ‘90s, she did,” Kenya replied, snidely.

“You were Miss USA in the ‘90s,” Cohen noted.

Flashbacks of Porsha Williams beating down Kenya Moore after the latter was called a slut from a ’90s came rushing back at that moment.

“Let me finish. I have a career that spans over 30 years myself. I can pay my bills,” Kenya said. “I don’t have tax liens. I don’t have foreclosures.”

Kenya alleged that when Kim stated “I’m Kim Fields” to her husband, she was belittling the entire group and was acting superior to them.

Some might say Kenya is just jealous, no?

To quote Andy Cohen once again, “If you’re walking around saying, ‘I’m gone with the wind fabulous,’ isn’t that your own declaration?”

“Those are two totally different things,” Kenya said.

Are they, though?

Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks then got in on the act, defending Kim’s resume and reminding Kenya that she called herself THE star.

As for Kim’s take on the whole situation?

“I don’t just walk around all day, ‘I’m Kim Fields.”

“‘F–k you.’ What? That’s foolishness.”

So much so. So much so. If Parts II and III are anything like this, we can’t wait to watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 17 Recap: Naughty or Nice?

After finally seeing Apollo Nida in prison on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 17, is Phaedra Parks ready to move on?

Yes and no, it turned out.

If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online, you know their history, and you know that feat is much easier said than done.

Especially with the feds involved. But we’ll get to that in a bit, as it was one of several components to a relatively drama-free finale.

Yes, drama-free.

While there were seeds of future drama sowed here and there, it may have been the tamest season-ender in the show’s eight years.

Consider that the bulk of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 17 was devoted to one of Phaedra’s over the top parties.

And an uncomfortable massage between Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas that we wish we could unsee but never can. Thanks Bravo.

One thing we can expect to play out dramatically at the reunion starting next week is the high tension between Parks and Kandi Burruss.

While Phaedra was away visiting Apollo, federal agents were apparently tipped off about the whereabouts of her husband’s possessions.

Nida owes restitution for his crimes, big time, which means his valuables are fair game for the feds – and they came a knockin’ alright.

Search and seizure visits at both Kandi and Cynthia’s homes were quite conveniently timed, and Phaedra was clearly the prime suspect.

She wasn’t about to cop to it – yet, at least – but you can expect this to come up again. As for Parks’ beef with Kandi’s husband Todd?

According to Todd, Phaedra’s promise to pay him for the video was only half-kept. Literally, she only paid him for half of it, he claims.

Watch out at the reunion.

Elsewhere, Kandi and NeNe Leakes made up, and Sheree Whitfield and her ex-husband Bob worked on their reconciliation, slowly.

What did you all think!?

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Recap: Phaedra Goes to Prison

Sunday on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 16, Kim Fields tried to move ahead with her new career … well, field.

Also, Phaedra Parks visited Apollo Nida … in prison.

If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online, you that it’s been a long time coming for Nida in terms of seeing his family again.

The reunion was … not what it was cracked up to be.

Fans didn’t actually get to see Phaedra and her sons inside the federal penitentiary he calls home, but it’s clear that it didn’t go well.

“I did not like it,” one of their young sons summated.

For Ayden and Dylan, this was not their idea of a “fun adventure,” even if they miss their dad, and for Phaedra, it was likely even worse.

Apollo, not surprisingly, isn’t as interested in a divorce as Parks is, given that he doesn’t exactly have a whole lot of options in the slammer.

Phaedra, meanwhile, wants a whole new life and to get on with it sooner rather than later. At least she knows where to serve Nida.

Elsewhere in the ATL, a very pregnant Kandi received some sex position advice from her OB/GYN in front of Todd and Mama Joyce.

Not awkward at all. Though we like the name Ace.

Phaedra gifted Kandi with some nipple cream and recounted the Jamaica trip from hell, while Kim continued railing against effing Kenya.

Speaking of Ms. Moore, is her boyfriend Matt actually a keeper? He actually seemed to pass the test on their sushi date, but we’ll see.

Finally, Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey did a photo shoot for Naked Lingerie, which wasn’t as dramatic or hot as it sounds, bit …

No shade was thrown in the process to speak of. Small victories when you’re talking about these Georgia Peaches. Small victories.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 15 Recap: Kim Fields vs. Kenya Moore!

Sunday night on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 15, the drama and shade-throwing were absolutely off the chain.

We know, right? FOR ONCE!

If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online, you recall that last week, gay rumors involving Kim’s spouse took center stage.

Well, we picked up last night with Sheree Whitfield telling Kim Fields that the women called her husband, Chris Morgan, “fruity or gay.”

Kim’s response? “Chris is a wonderful husband and father and we’ve been together happily for 10 years and it’s good,” she said calmly.

Pretty straightforward, right? If only.

Kenya Moore said, “I don’t think we really care either way if your husband is gay or whether or not you guys are having tax problems.”

Tax problems? What the … anyway:

“You portray like everything is perfect. It’s not really perfect, so we just want the real Kim Fields to show up. You have this wall up.”

“It’s like you’re reading from a script.”

At that point, Kim up and left – still calmly – and later, she told NeNe Leakes and Phaedra Parks that Moore had put a target on her back.

Leakes can sympathize. And help.

“You can never be passive amongst this group of ladies,” NeNe explained to the Bravo cameras. “I’m just trying to help Kim out.”

Phaedra clearly agreed, arguing, “The only way to stop a bully is if you punch them square in the face … we got your back.”

Later, at NeNe’s urging, Kim took it to Kenya head on: “I feel like at some point, Kenya, you’ve crossed a line into disrespect of me.”

“That’s not going to be tolerated.”

“So let’s have no communication or cordial communication, but at the end of the day you’re not going to talk about my family.”

“You’re not going to talk about me.”

Damn. You got served, Kenya.

“Congratulations for being able to speak for yourself,” Moore snapped back, adding, “I don’t hate you. I’m indifferent to you.”

“I have come a long way with a lot of girls at the table. Whether we get there or not, I don’t know. I just am not willing to spend any more effort.”

“If we’re at an impasse, we’re at an impasse.”

Cynthia told Kenya that if nothing else, she owned her an apology for trying to yank her chair out from under her a few days earlier.

That Kenya admitted, “was out of line.”

To see what happened when the topic turned to Moore’s role in the infamous commercial, and how Cynthia and NeNe responded?

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Recap: Kenya Moore Says Kim Fields" Husband is Gay

Sunday on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 14, the drama mounted between dueling s–t talkers Cynthia and Kenya.

Then Kenya asserted that Kim’s husband is gay. Seriously.

If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online, you will see what could have been a run-of-the-mill feud escalate beyond belief.

When Kenya brought up the supposed rumors about Chris – Kim Fields’ husband – and his sexuality, that was, well, pretty abrasive.

“I know y’all have heard the rumors. They call him Chrissy,” Kenya said after Kim went to prep for her commercial shoot in the morning.

“Who calls him that?” Phaedra Parks asked, noting that he can be “high strung and sassy” but skeptical that Kenya knows anything.

“The industry,” Moore shot back, channeling her inner tabloid. “For 10 years, there have been pervasive rumors about Kim’s husband.”

The women laughed, noting Chris’ past career as a Broadway singer and dancer, as if he wouldn’t be openly gay if he were … gay.

Sheree Whitfield and Cynthia Bailey, surprisingly, stayed quiet despite having ample opportunities to knock Kenya down a peg (or 20).

The next night, Sheree wasn’t as willing to let it slide when the topic came up … and straight up told Fields what people were saying.

“The conversation about Chris is much different that last night,” she told the Bravo cameras. “I can’t deal with it. I am allergic to fake s–t.”

Naturally, we’re left hanging until next week as far as how the ladies react when held accountable for spreading this particular gossip.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 13 Recap: Jamaican Jerks, Chickens

“I still have my Jesus with me, so I’m not gonna knock a bitch upside her head, but had she touched me, y’all would’ve seen a whole ‘nother side of Kim Fields.”

– Kim Fields

On The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 13, the women jetted off to Jamaica for some fun in the sun with their men in tow.

NeNe Leakes big appearance was the big storyline coming in …

… but she wasn’t the one who ruined the vacay in epic fashion.

Obviously, if you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online at all, you know that the shade-throwing drama never stays in the ATL.

In fact, it typically increases whenever there’s a trip involved.

During Cynthia Bailey’s meeting with Kim Fields and (the unbelievably immature) Kenya Moore, the trip began to go south in a hurry.

Moore accused Bailey of being unprofessional for going with Kim’s pitch for the ad, despite Kenya having flaked on the pitch meeting.

Then she called out Kim personally, and in a brazenly ridiculous middle school move, actually pulled Kim’s chair away from the table.

While Kim still happened to be sitting in it.

Fields (see above quote) kept her cool despite plenty of reasons to smack the ISH out of her adversary, while Cynthia just sat there.

Why Bailey didn’t grow a pair, own the decision to go with Kim’s pitch and shut down this display is beyond us, but it is what it is now.

At dinner later, when Peter asked what was wrong and what triggered this massive beef, More was still bitter and in a fighting mood.

“I would like to just take one of these lanterns and set my ass on fire than talk about this” Kenya snapped, to which Peter responded:

“Someone give her the motherf–king lantern.”

As Kim began to explain her side of things, Kenya up and left, after which Kim’s husband Chris laid it out for Cynthia plainly:

“As boss, you’re the only one that can [this]. Simply go to Kenya and say I made a decision and I need you as my friend to live with it.”

“And also say, ‘You’re not my BFF,"” NeNe added.

Of course, it’s not that easy, and the way in which Cynthia characterized their relationship made its way to Kenya the very next morning.

Kenya wouldn’t let that crucial point go either, eventually forcing Cynthia to tell her flat out: “In my mind, we’re not best friends yet.”

That, friends, is just a bitter pill to swallow.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 12 Recap: Beauty and the Beat

Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta saw a crash course in parenting, a birthday behind bars and a make-up free brunch.

You know. As you do in the ATL. Let’s break it on down …

Picking up where last week left off, The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 12 saw Kim Fields throw an event for the ages.

If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online, you know she’s been struggling for screen time this season. Well, problem solved.

Kim decided to throw a “beat less” brunch, meaning women should come with minimal makeup. On this show, that’s quite the request.

Kandi Burruss, despite her strong reservations, followed the rules, as did Phaedra Parks, Sheree Whitfield and Cynthia Bailey alike.

Porsha Williams did not because she was coming straight from Dish Nation. Kenya Moore did not … because she didn’t feel like it.

“I’m a grown a$ $ woman,” Kenya declared, believing that the entire concept was a personal attack on her personal make-up usage.

“I don’t need to be told what I look like to others. If I go out looking like a clown or garish, that’s how I choose to present myself.”

“I don’t think anybody should tell me how I should look,” she went on, and that’s what I didn’t appreciate in the invitation.”

Moore also isn’t a fan of Fields’ work, to put it mildly.

“She is so freaking pompous and arrogant,” Kenya said. “Tyler Perry literally directed the episode she was supposed to be directing.”

In any event, Kim encouraged the ladies to admire their “natural” beauty and gives them a pen and paper to write a poem on the topic.

Kenya, to put it mildly, was not a fan of the exercise.

“Where is the natural beauty, because you have two boob jobs and you’re wearing a wig,” Moore said. “Is that part of your poem?”

Kim said she wasn’t shading anybody, however.

“This is a celebration,” she said. You buy it?

Meanwhile, Phaedra and Ayden got creative to in order celebrate Apollo’s birthday, as he’ll be behind bars for the next eight YEARS.

Also, Kandi and Todd Tucker meet with a baby instructor who recommends breastfeeding until their youngster is 3-4 years old.

Kandi is even less cool with that than wearing no makeup. As for Todd, he’s never had to deal with a newborn before, so …

He didn’t do a bad job changing diapers, but a real kid might be a little bit toughter. Todd also wants a nanny. [Crickets.]

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 11 Recap: Ms. Parks Goes to Washington!

For most of the women of Bravo’s flagship franchise, The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 11 was an emotional installment.

And not just because NeNe is back, bitches!

Picking up where things left off last week, The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 11 saw drama extend beyond the ATL.

But first, and perhaps most notably, it saw NeNe Leakes return, rehash her beef with Cynthia Bailey, patch things up and catch up.

If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online, you know all about their falling out. Bravo helpfully replayed the highlights if not.

No one would be able to fill the shoes of NeNe with Cynthia,” NeNe said, referring to herself in third person because obviously. “Boop!”

Yes. Boop, indeed, NeNe. Boop indeed.

Meanwhile, we got an update on Apollo Nida, Phaedra Parks’ husband, on camera for the first time as he spoke to his son from prison.

Next week, it looks like we will finally see Phaedra driving their two kids up to Kentucky to see him as he serves eight years for fraud.

For now, Phaedra, Sheree Whitfield, Porsha Williams and Kim Fields are jetting to D.C. for a Million Man March anniversary event.

In our nation’s capital, Phaedra also dines with members of Congress to discuss our Save Our Sons charity. Pretty impressive, P-squared!

Naturally, Phaedra has a team of people who come with her and help with the kids. Kim Fields … doesn’t. It’s just her and her two sons.

Sebastian, 8, is quickly bored, and some of the other women can’t help but note that she ditches events to be with her children instead.

“Sebastian wants to get his fun on,” Kim explained. “Quincy wants to get his nap on. I’m not being disrespectful. I’m being a mother.”

Yes, but Sheree’s view: “Being a mom is a full-time job. I have been there myself. But it doesn’t mean you shut the whole world out.”

Finally, Kandi Buruss and Todd Tucker decided they want to open a restaurant using Kandi’s family recipes … well, Todd wants to.

His idea gets mixed reviews from his wife and her family, but Mama Joyce gave him a hug at one point, so she must feel some love.

Kenya, for her part, is still trying to get her mom to talk to her, but her aunt Lori tells her she can’t just force closure or a reconcilation.

“Enough is enough,” Lori said. “It’s time to let it go.”

Fortunately, Kenya loves and respects her aunt enough to get past the fact that she wasn’t told what she wanted to hear in this case.
