Bankroll Fresh Shot Dead in Atlanta, Rapper was 28

Rapper Trentavious White, known professionally as “Bankroll Fresh,” was shot dead during an Atlanta shootout Friday night. He was 28.



The up and coming rapper, best known for his 2014 song “Hot Boy,” was the victim of gunfire outside the Street Execs recording studio around 11:15 p.m.


Fresh was rushed to the hospital following the shooting and died from gunshot wounds later that evening, according to CNN.


Nearly 60 shell casings were found at the scene, but no one else was injured and a motive is unknown.


No arrests have been made. Police are currently investigating and searching for a suspect.


The hip hop community is mourning the loss of Fresh on social media, most notably rapper 2 Chainz, who recently performed with the deceased in Charlotte, North Carolina.


2 Chainz posted this photo of his colleague to Instagram.

He also tweeted about his friend’s “senseless death.”

Rapper T.I. also shared a series of Instagram posts lamenting the death. 


“Sometimes shit just get to moving so fast it’s impossible to make sense of it all…. I know death is apart of life but it seems so unfair to snatch somebody before they got to begin to reach their potential & change they life,” he wrote.
