The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 15 Recap: Kim Fields vs. Kenya Moore!

Sunday night on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 15, the drama and shade-throwing were absolutely off the chain.

We know, right? FOR ONCE!

If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online, you recall that last week, gay rumors involving Kim’s spouse took center stage.

Well, we picked up last night with Sheree Whitfield telling Kim Fields that the women called her husband, Chris Morgan, “fruity or gay.”

Kim’s response? “Chris is a wonderful husband and father and we’ve been together happily for 10 years and it’s good,” she said calmly.

Pretty straightforward, right? If only.

Kenya Moore said, “I don’t think we really care either way if your husband is gay or whether or not you guys are having tax problems.”

Tax problems? What the … anyway:

“You portray like everything is perfect. It’s not really perfect, so we just want the real Kim Fields to show up. You have this wall up.”

“It’s like you’re reading from a script.”

At that point, Kim up and left – still calmly – and later, she told NeNe Leakes and Phaedra Parks that Moore had put a target on her back.

Leakes can sympathize. And help.

“You can never be passive amongst this group of ladies,” NeNe explained to the Bravo cameras. “I’m just trying to help Kim out.”

Phaedra clearly agreed, arguing, “The only way to stop a bully is if you punch them square in the face … we got your back.”

Later, at NeNe’s urging, Kim took it to Kenya head on: “I feel like at some point, Kenya, you’ve crossed a line into disrespect of me.”

“That’s not going to be tolerated.”

“So let’s have no communication or cordial communication, but at the end of the day you’re not going to talk about my family.”

“You’re not going to talk about me.”

Damn. You got served, Kenya.

“Congratulations for being able to speak for yourself,” Moore snapped back, adding, “I don’t hate you. I’m indifferent to you.”

“I have come a long way with a lot of girls at the table. Whether we get there or not, I don’t know. I just am not willing to spend any more effort.”

“If we’re at an impasse, we’re at an impasse.”

Cynthia told Kenya that if nothing else, she owned her an apology for trying to yank her chair out from under her a few days earlier.

That Kenya admitted, “was out of line.”
