Mark Wahlberg Hilariously Leaves Super Bowl Before Patriots Comeback

As you’ve no doubt heard by now, the New England Patriots beat the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI last night, coming from 25 points down to to earn the first overtime victory in Super Bowl history.

If you don’t live in Boston and you’re not the President of the United States, there’s a good chance you’re a bit bummed by the results of the game, as the Pats are a widely hated team that’s loved by widely hated people.

Unfortunately, there were no Sad Ben Affleck reaction shots last night, but we did get to enjoy news of Mark Wahlberg being a premature sore loser.

Yes, the Pats eventually cruised to an anti-climactic victory, but throughout much of the evening, things were looking pretty bleak for Tom Brady and company.

So bleak, in fact, that Mark Wahlberg decided to peace out on the proceedings in the third quarter.

Not surprisingly, Mark took a good deal of flak on social media for committing one of the cardinal Bostonian sins.

(Lack of faith in Tom Terrific is right up there with correctly pronouncing the word “car.”)

But Mahky Mahk maintains that he had a perfectly good reason for bouncing early, and it had nothing to do with the score, okay?!

“I had to leave the game early because my youngest son wasn’t feeling well,” Wahlberg wrote on social media last night.

“Trust me, I would have loved to be at the stadium — but family first. Doesn’t mean I don’t love my Patriots too!”

Look, we’re not saying Mark’s lying about his son not feeling well.

We’re just saying that had the game not been shaping up to be a blow-out in the Falcons’ favor, he probably would’ve worked out some arrangement where his wife took his youngest home and he stayed at the stadium with his other kid.

But hey, at least Mark’s not alone in his fairweather fandom.

Witnesses say Donald Trump left his Super Bowl party when it was looking like the Pats were in the process of getting buried by Atlanta.

Of course, we can’t really blame him on that one:

If we were wearing a suit and sitting at a conference table with Reince Preibus, we’d probably be eager to call it a night, too.

Unlike Mark, the president didn’t offer an excuse for why he packed it in early.

No word yet on whether Mark’s come up with a suitable excuse for the time he blinded a guy in a racially-motivated hate crime.

Yup. We went there.

Gisele Celebrates Patriots Victory with Dancing, Screaming, Extreme Selfie-Taking

The New England Patriots may have won Super Bowl LI on Sunday night.

But Gisele Bundchen has won the Internet.

As a result of brand new and stunning Gisele photos that feature this model in a state of undress?

Nope. As a result of her over-the-top reaction to the Patriots’ shocking victory.

Gisele can be forgiven for her response, of course.

New England somehow managed to overcome a 25-point second half deficit in defeating the Atlanta Falcons, doing so by a final score of 34-28 in overtime.

And Gisele’s husband, someone named Tom Brady, threw for a Super Bowl-record 466 yards upon winning his fifth title and fourth Super Bowl MVP award.

So you can understand why Gisele was dancing all around, patting her heart and flashing five fingers to the crowd and the field shortly after New England’s victory:

Brady and Bundchen are the parents of a four-year old named Vivian and a seven-year old named Benjamin.

Brady also is father to a nine-year old son named John with his ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan.

Prior to the big game, Gisele shared the following photo of Vivian on Instagram, captioning the sweet snapshot as follows:

“Bom dia! Game day! #superbowl #daddyslittlegirl.”

Gisele and other female relatives of Brady donned the same “Brady’s Ladies” t-shirt on Sunday, posing for pictures online alongside Galynn Brady, the quarterback’s mother who has been suffering from an undisclosed illness.

Brady said before the Super Bowl that he was dedicating the game to his mom.

So it’s hard to make too much fun of Gisele for how excited she got upon the Patriots winning, even if she did spin all around and film herself screaming up a storm from insider her stadium suite.

See for yourself:

“Congratulations my love! @tombrady #gopats Parabéns meu amor! @tombrady,” Gisele wrote as a caption to a photo of the couple two weeks ago, after Brady and the Patriots knocked off the Steelers to advance to the Super Bowl.

Now that they’ve won?

Now that Brady has solidified his status as the greatest quarterback of all-time and probably the greatest football player of all-time?

We can’t imagine what Gisele will write online…

… or what she’ll do to Brady behind closed doors.

If you know what we mean!

Seriously, is Tom Brady the luckiest person on the face of the planet or what?!?

Tom Brady Suspension Reinstated; Patriots QB to Sit For First 4 Weeks of 2016 Season

Back in May of 2015, Tom Brady was suspended by the NFL for his alleged involvement in the so-called “Deflategate” scandal.

The New England Patriots quarterback (whom some believe to be the greatest to ever play the game) was ordered to sit for the first four weeks of the season after an investigation concluded that Brady was at least aware that two members of the Patriots equipment staff partially deflated game balls in order to make them easier to handle.

In addition, the NFL accused Brady of hindering the investigation by destroying the cell phone he allegedly used in order to communicate with staff.

After a lengthy appeals process, however, Brady’s suspension was overturned just days before the start of the season, and he wound up playing a full season and leading the Patriots to the playoffs for the seventh straight season.

Now, however, it looks as though one of the league’s most consistently dominant teams may have to do without its star QB for a full quarter of next season, as Brady’s suspension was reinstated today on appeal.

A three-judge panel from the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York ruled NFL commissioner Roger Goodell “properly exercised his broad discretion” in suspending Brady.

In their decision, the judges stated their opinion that Goodell and the league had not denied Brady “fundamental fairness” when they chose to suspend him.

Thus, as of right now, Brady will be forced to sit for the Pats’ 2016 games against the Cardinals, Dolphins, Texans and Bills.

But of course, Brady and the NFL players union are expected to appeal the decision, which will likely lead to another lengthy round of legal wrangling.

The appeals process could wind up taking this bizarre case as high as the Supreme Court, which would land Brady in the history books for more than just his consistently stellar performance on the field.

News that the suspension will be upheld comes just hours after the announcement that Brady is once again the league’s most popular player in terms of merchandise sales.

The court’s decision is especially devastating for Patriots fans, as the upcoming season could well be the final one of the 38-year-old Brady’s career.

Daniel Tosh Bets $25,000 on Patriots, Wins Big For Friend With Cancer

Whether he"s riffing on an amateur stuntman who did something stupid and wound up with a bone sticking out of his leg, or reminding us how much Jimmy Fallon loves booze, Daniel Tosh is always awesome in a cruelly hilarious way.

Even fans of the divisive comic admit that he doesn"t exactly come off as a nice guy on his Comedy Central show, so lots of folks might be surprised to learn that Tosh just committed an incredible act of kindness at the expense of his beloved Miami Dolphins.

As you might already know, the New England Patriots annihilated the Dolphins last night (as they"re wont to do) by a score of 36-7.

While it may have been a bummer for Tosh to watch Brady and company trounce all over his team (We"ve all been there, dude.), the Pats" victory was also a major win for Daniel"s friend Andy Ritchie, a comic who was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor.

You see, Tosh recently made $ 25,000 auctioning off props and random crap from around his office online.

He decided to bet the whole 25 grand on the Patriots covering the first half spread against the Dolphins and promised that if he won, he"d give all the cash to Ritchie to help with his medical bills.

Since you can never really go wrong betting on the Pats (unless you"re betting on which team is the least likely to cheat), Tosh will be able to donate $ 50,000 to Ritchie"s GoFundMe account.

"Once I double it, [Ritchie] can do whatever he wants with it; go on a lion-hunting safari or get treatment," Tosh said.

We"re guessing he"ll go with treatment, but hey – maybe he"ll decide to pull a Walter Palmer. Who knows?

We kid, of course. This is the best thing Tosh has done since he weirdly recreated a Selena Gomez video.

He proved that his uncaring D-bag routine is (at least sometimes) just an act, and for that, we thank him.
