Kenya Moore Gloats as The Real Housewives of Atlanta Ratings Plummet Without Her

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is back for Season 11.

Unfortunately, ratings at the season premiere are lower than they’ve been in several years.

Meanwhile, former Housewife Kenya Moore welcomed her first child … and she can’t help but smile.

If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online, you know that the show has been going on as before.

Kandi and Porsha are struggling to approximate friendship after previously feuding.

NeNe is grappling with Gregg’s cancer battle.

But Kenya Moore is missing. She’s no longer on the show.

In real life, however, she recently gave birth to a precious preemie baby, Brooklyn Doris Daly.

And on Sunday, Kenya shared this precious photo for the world to see:

Kenya Moore Hand with Baby Hand

Kenya hasn’t shown her adorable baby’s face yet, but a precious baby hand is more than enough to tide over her fans.

Following being diagnosed with preeclampsia, which caused her feet to swell, Kenya was given a C-section.

Kenya, though certainly not old by any reasonable metric, is considered “old” for pregnancy, so she always knew that there would be risks.

Fortunately, it seems that the C-section was a success.

Kenya is recovering, and was even feeling healthy enough to go on a Target run (in a motorized scooter, to be clear).

And at 5 pounds and 12 ounces, baby Brooklyn was technically within the “normal” range for baby weights, if very close to the low end of the spectrum.

But one person did not find Kenya’s sweet mother-daughter hand photo endearing in the least.

“I can’t wit the calculations on Sunday’s,” NeNe Leakes wrote on Instagram.

She tagged her vague post: “#thethirstisreal #weseeyou #wacks–t”

The implication that NeNe seemed to be making was that Kenya timed her photo in a shady manner.

Perhaps, for example, Kenya showed off her baby’s hand to distract fans from her former show.

Or maybe she did it to remind Bravo of the kind of content that they’re missing out on since she’s no longer on the show.

Whatever it is that NeNe believes that Kenya is up to … it’s unclear why NeNe felt the need to comment.

Some might suspect that NeNe is feeling insecure because of what some tabloids have described as a “ratings crash.”

The season premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta brought in 1.93 million viewers.

That made it the lowest rated season opener since Season 5.

That said, relatively low ratings for a premiere aren’t necessarily a huge crash.

it’s not good news, but they had about the same number of viewers as recently as April 1 of 2018.

Bravo may be concerned, but we can’t imagine that they’re panicking.

That said, NeNe may be worried — because she’s the show’s highest paid star.

That said, some people can’t help but connect the dots.

Kenya’s firing was certainly the biggest change between last season and this season.

Now, Kenya has everything she wanted — a loving husband and a precious newborn baby.

In the mean time, The Real Housewives of Atlanta has taken a downward turn from being Bravo’s highest rated show.

It may not have been Kenya’s choice to go overboard, but it’s looking like she may have jumped ship at a smart time.

Or maybe people are less interested now that she’s off the show.

Not every Real Housewives series is going to last or click with all viewers.

But we don’t think that it’s time to start singing RHOA‘s funeral dirge just yet.

This season’s ratings may pick up.

If not, there’s always next season.

Probably

Bravo would likely be reluctant to cancel, for a host of reasons.

Mark Zuckerberg Loses $16 BILLION In One Day as Facebook Stocks Plummet!

We imagine Mark Zuckerberg spends all day poking around in our personal business and laughing at our misfortunes, so we’re relishing the opportunity to return the favor.

As you may have heard, Zuckerberg’s company — a plucky little startup called Facebook — is not having the best year.

First, there was Zuck’s testimony before Congress, which was only amusing if you watched it on mute and pretended it was an episode of Black Mirror where a robot gets put on trial for murder.

Shortly thereafter, Zuckerberg was harshly criticized for defending the rights of Holocaust deniers who use his service to propagate their batsh-t beliefs.

Marky Mark probably thought getting publicly crucified for presiding over a company that allows Russian bots to spread fake news and enables neo-Nazis to stoke the flames of racial hatred would the low point of his 2018.

And maybe it was.

But losing $ 16 billion in personal wealth as shareholders call for your head probably still stings just a bit.

Yes, it was a rough day on Wall Street, as Facebook stocks plummetted more than 20 percent, seemingly in response to the company’s recent rash of scandals and bad press.

Of course, even after losing more money in a single day than most people could spend in five lifetimes, Zuck is still worth more than $ 68 billion, so you probably won’t see him doing the Floss for nickels outside a VA hospital anytime soon.

But the loss puts him below Warren Buffett on the list of the world’s richest people, which is amusing for at least two reasons:

1. People actually like Buffett, whereas the sight of Zuckerberg causes most folks to fantasize about perpetrating a fatal wedgie, and

2. We like to imagine Buffett calling Zuck, saying, “How’s my ass taste, kid?” and promptly hanging up the phone.

Of course, it wasn’t just Facebook’s affiliations with Cambridge Analytica and the Pepe the Frog set that have stocks and profit margins plummeting.

The site’s ongoing efforts to become Snapchat for old people are also causing “unforeseen growth cessations” and other mumbo-jumbo that basically means “we might be f-cked.”

“We plan to grow and promote certain engaging experiences like Stories that currently have lower levels of monetization, and we are also giving people who use our services more choices around data privacy, which may have an impact on our revenue growth,” says CFO David Wehner.

Again, this is all relative, as Facebook’s market cap is still valued at about $ 120 billion, so your aunt Sharon’s favorite venue for sharing “wine o’clock” memes won’t be going away anytime soon.

But the important thing is that today’s news affirms the increasingly popular theory that Mark Zuckerberg is not the savior of the Western world, but just some code jockey who was in the right place at the right time.

Watch for him and fellow embodiment of the evils of late capitalism Elon Musk to announce a plan for world domination any day now.

Kate Gosselin: Reality Ratings Plummet! Will Kate Plus 8 Get Canceled?!

As you may have heard the first episode Kate Plus 8 Season 4 premiered on Tuesday night.

Of course, there’s a good chance that you didn’t hear, because the show returned after a long hiatus with very little fanfare – which may help explain why Kate and company received their lowest ratings to date.

According to Radar Online the Kate Plus 8 season premiere was watched by just 955,000 viewers. That’s less than half of the show’s audience from last season.

“It’s the same old story,” one production insider told Radar. “The past is played out and there are too many other things going on in the world.”

Another insider blamed Kate with a much more succinct explanation: “She’s just not very likeable.”

“Not very likeable” is putting it mildly, of course.

In recently released excerpts from a tell-all entitled Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World, Kate admits to physically abusing her children in shocking diary entries unearthed by author Robert Hoffman.

Viewers were first drawn to the Gosselins as a family that struggled in a relatable fashion, but also seemed bound together by tremendous love for one another.

Jon and Kate’s divorce and the years of bad press that followed have soured that impression to the point that the public’s interest in Kate these days is mainly limited to unfavorable tabloid impressions.

Producers have promised a glimpse into Kate’s dating life in upcoming episodes, but if that doesn’t draw in viewers, Gosselin may suffer the embarrassment of a midseason cancelation.

Watch Kate Plus 8 online at TV Fanatic if you’re one of the few Kate fans left in the world (or if you just want to see her go down in flames).
