Taylor Swift: I Was a Victim of Slut-Shaming!

Taylor Swift covers the latest issue of Vogue, debuting a new, edgy style on the cover of the national magazine.

The singer is also the latest celebrity to answer 73 Questions from the publication, touching on a number of personal topics while giving fans a tour of her Beverly Hills mansion.

Filmed in February, there are numerous references below to the then-upcoming Grammys, along with:

  • A Jay Z mention.

  • Plenty of love for The Martian.

  • The reveal that she’s double-jointed in her elbows.

  • The funny reason that she wants an honorary doctorate.

  • The admission that she has so many guitars, she “lost track of that probably in 2007."

  • The reveal of her favorite cocktail.

  • Her belief that "karma is real."

  • The best gift Calvin Harris ever gave her.

And then there was this, when asked what she would tell her 19-year old self:

"I’d say, ‘Hey, you’re going to date like a normal 20-something should be allowed to, but you’re going to be a national lightning rod for slut-shaming."

Gigi Hadid Totally SLAMS Slut-Shaming Twitter Troll!

All this female ferocity. I love it.

Gigi Hadid is the latest fierce lady who just proved that she ain’t taken no crap from haters.

Recently, one particularly embittered non-fan sniveled to her on Twitter about her apparently inferior runway walk before blasting her for having too many boyfriends.

“Practise how to walk properly instead of having a new bf every 2 weeks,” wrote the troll, who has since deleted the tweet.

Now, celebs get criticized every day on social media, and most of the time they just ignore it. But every now and then they just gotta put someone in their damn place.

And that’s exactly what the model did.

“I’ve dated 3 guys in 3 yrs, hun. My walk can always get better; I hope the unrelated bitterness in ur heart can too,” she clapped back.

Gigi Hadid claps back on Twitter

Oh, SNAP. Good on ya, Geege.

But here’s the thing. Gigi shouldn’t even have to justify herself. If she wanted to date a different dude every two weeks, that’s no one’s business but her own.

Justin Bieber and Nick Jonas have been linked romantically to a gazillion different women in the last few months, but do they get flak for it? Nah. And why is it different just because they’ve got penises?

It really shouldn’t be, but I guess it’s got something to do with that bitterness.

As far as Miss Gigi’s love life goes, she’s been loving on Zayn Malik for a few months now and the two seem to be pretty damn smitten.

Before that, she dated Joe Jonas, who looks so much like Zayn we here at THG are wondering if she even realizes they are two different people.

And as for the third man of which Gigi speaks, it’s singer Cody Simpson, who is blond and definitely a separate human than Zayn/Joe.

So go ahead and blast those trolls, girl. We got your back.

Amber Rose SLAMS Tyrese, Rev Run for Slut-Shaming

Don"t challenge Amber Rose when it comes to slut-shaming, because she will SHUT. IT. DOWN.

Intelligently, we might add.

On an episode of "It"s Not You, It"s Men," Amber reveals that when she walks down the street, she often gets groped by strangers who think they can grab her because she"s famous and wears sexy clothing.

She makes it clear that this is NOT okay, but hosts Tyrese and Rev. Run shockingly suggest the possibility that she somehow invites it with her image.

Tyrese likens it to seeing a pro basketball player and wanting to play ball with him, which is obviously ridiculous because playing basketball is not the same as getting sexually assaulted.

Amber is having none of it, and she lays down the law:

"If I’m laying down with a man – butt-naked – and his condom is on, and I say, ‘You know what? No. I don’t want to do this. I changed my mind,’ that means no. That means f—ing no. That’s it… It doesn’t matter how far I take it or what I have on. When I say no, it means no."

Basically, it"s about consent.

"If I wanna wear a short skirt or a tank top and I"m at the club and I"m having fun with my friends and I feel sexy, I"m not DTF," she continues.

"I didn"t come here to have sex… I came out here with my girls and I just feel pretty. I"m not asking for nothing."

The hosts nod and concede, understanding that she"s right.

But she then let"s them know that it"s not just them, it"s society.

"I"m not mad at ya"ll, because that"s how society raised all of us," she said. "I"m a former slut-shamer, I"ve called women hoes a million times… and now I"m not, I"m a former slut-shamer."

We applaud Amber for spreading the word about victim-blaming and sexual consent.

She has been publicly slut-shamed numerous times by ex-boyfriends Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa (Wiz has since apologized).

Last October, she held a "Slut Walk" in Los Angeles to raise awareness about the issue and empower women to speak out.

And we hope they do.

Ayesha Curry Accused of Slut-Shaming, Defended by Khloe Kardashian

Ayesha Curry is the wife of the best basketball player on the planet these days.

She’s also the mother to the most adorable toddler in the history of mankind.

But Curry made headlines on her own over the weekend by writing just a few words on Twitter.

“Everyone’s into barely wearing clothes these days huh? Not my style,” Mrs. Stephen Curry wrote. “I like to keep the good stuff covered up for the one who matters.”

It’s unclear what prompted this Tweet (perhaps a look at Kylie Jenner on Instagram?), but Curry added:

“Just looking at the latest fashion trends. I’ll take classy over trendy any day of the week. #saturdaynightinsight.”

Doesn’t seem all that noteworthy, does it?

Curry is simply commenting on the bevy of females of show lots and lots of skin in public.

But the message received quite the rebuke in the social media world, with critics lashing out at Curry for “slut-shaming.”

Wrote one hater:

“Point of the matter is : Ayesha curry sounds like a patriarchal princess and her tweets were undercover slut shaming.”

But Curry did find herself defended by a couple celebrities; first by Chrissy Teigen, who replied to Curry’s Tweets with:

“ayeshacurry you got people writing articles on a Sunday” and who then jokingly asked Curry what she’s “gonna wear” when she goes to cook eggs.

Then there was Khloe Kardashian, who showed love to Curry by Tweeting in reply:

“I just love @ayeshacurry!!! Always staying true to you. My kind of lady. Blessings on blessings!!!”

Ayesha finally attempted to end the debate, not by apologizing, but by sending another message:

“Regardless of if you like my ‘style of clothes’ or not (which I don’t care) please do not tear women down and degrade them… Not cool peeps.”

How to Get Away with Murder Season 2 Episode 3 Recap: Negligent Slut-Shaming

We learned all about a sexual position known as “The Octopus” on How to Get Away with Murder Season 2 Episode 3.

But that wasn’t all!

Questions were very much raised during the hour concerning the show’s main (and incestuous?!?) clients, Caleb and Catherine Hapstall, while we also learned that Nate and Wes may be in cahoots.

Awkward! Shocking! Confusing!

The Case of the Week centered on a sex-party proprietor accused of murdering a client with whom she was in love.

After discovering that this woman caused her lover to have a heart attack in order to expose their affair to his wife, Annalise lets loose with one of our favorite rants ever.

She calls her client a “negligent slut” and slams her for “giving those of us who really like sex a bad name.”

In the end, though, Annalise does get her client off. Because she’s just that good at her job.

We then move to a tabloid photo of Caleb and Catherine that raises the possibility that they act like far more than siblings at times. But they deny it.

The housekeeper was the one who leaked the picture and she insists it’s true… while also insisting they did kill their parents.

Elsewhere, parallel scenes reveal that Annalise nearly has sex with Nate (after he kills a rat in her basement) and with Nate (whose job she’s gotten back with the Philadelphia police department).

Neither boning happens, however, which takes us to seeing that Wes has paid a visit to Nate and that the men are working together. For reasons unknown.

“Why did they do it?” we see a wounded Annalise ask in this week’s flash forward.

Also in this week’s flash forward: The Keating Four flee the shooting scene and end up hitching a ride with Nate.

Elsewhere this week, while we look forward to How to Get Away with Murder Season 2 Episode 4:

  • Connor and Oliver are back to having sex.

  • Laurel takes up Frank on his offer to get to know him better, plying Bonnie with alcohol to get intel in the process.

  • Wes and Levi agree to team up in order to discover what happened to Rebecca, while Levi keeps up his seduction of Michaela.

  • Asher swipes Annalise’s memo recorder and and gives it to St. Clair, but she says his work for her is still not complete.
