13 Times Kim Kardashian Suffered from Serious #FirstWorldProblems

After Kim Kardashian whined about the death of her Blackberry Bold, it occurred to us that the reality star suffers real hardship in the form of First World Problem.

A First World Problem is defined as "a relatively trivial or minor problem or frustration" when compared to the problems plaguing those who live in developing countries.

Let us explore the tragedies that befall Kim, and never forget that she, too, suffers greatly.

1. When You Lose An Expensive Earring

Kim kardashian loses her diamond earrings

Your boyfriend threw you into the crystal clear waters of your five-star resort, and even though you insured those diamond earrings, one of them fell out and now it’s at the bottom of the sea. While you’re bawling your eyes out, your little sisters did some diving and were able to find it. Way to keep your composure, though.

2. Let’s Keep Things In Perspective

What she said.

3. Everyone Is So Jealous Of That Bentley

Bentley jealousy

Actually they’re not. The mechanics were allegedly rude to Khloe and Kourtney, so they reacted. Kim thought they were embarrassing her and handled it really well.

4. This Is Serious

Having your picture taken is really stressful. Please try to show some compassion.

5. Maybe Stop Wearing Those Shoes

Kim kardashian feet

This is a first world problem that can easily be rectified. Good circulation is what the cool kids are supporting these days (and no one wants to be more like the cool kids than Kim).

6. When Your Sister Makes Fun Of Your Cry Face While You’re Fighting

Because arguing over dumb things inside a massive ski house is a great use of everyone’s time.

13 Celebrities Who Have Suffered From Postpartum Depression

Postpartum depression is debilitating, and some new mothers feel ashamed if they"re affected by it.

The reality is that PPD can happen to any woman who gave birth.

Thanks to these celebs, the stigma of PPD is a thing of the past.

1. Gwyneth Paltrow

Paltrow experienced PPD after having son Moses in 2006. “I expected to have another period of euphoria following his birth, much the way I had when my daughter was born two years earlier,” Paltrow wrote on GOOP. “Instead I was confronted with one of the darkest and most painfully debilitating chapters of my life.”

2. Hayden Panettiere

The Nashville star sought treatment twice for post-partum depression. “I’m really happy that I can stand up for the women who are out there suffering from this and let them know it’s okay,” Panettiere told People at the 2016 Critics Choice Awards. “They’re not alone. It doesn’t mean they’re weak. It doesn’t mean they’re a bad mom. It doesn’t mean they’re strange. They can get help if they need it, and that’s okay.”

3. Brooke Shields

Shields wrote a book on her post-partum depression, ‘Down Came The Rain: My Journey With Postpartum Depression.’ In the book, Shields talked about feeling disconnected from her infant, Rowan. “Rowan kept crying, and I began to dread the moment when Chris would bring her back to me. I started to experience a sick sensation in my stomach; it was as if a vise were tightening around my chest. Instead of the nervous anxiety that often accompanies panic, a feeling of devastation overcame me,” Shields recalled. “I also didn’t feel like I wanted to get too close to Rowan. I wasn’t afraid she was too fragile; I just felt no desire to pick her up. Every time I have ever been near a baby, any baby, I have always wanted to hold the child. It shocked me that I didn’t want to hold my own daughter.”

4. Amanda Peet

Peet told Gotham Magazine that she was “sleep-deprived beyond belief” after giving birth, and felt that everything “came crashing down” when her daughter was born. “I want to be honest about it because I think there’s still so much shame when you have mixed feelings about being a mom instead of feeling this sort of ‘bliss,’” she said. “I think a lot of people still really struggle with that, but it’s hard to find other people who are willing to talk about it.”

5. Courteney Cox

Cox’s PPD didn’t settle in until her daughter, Coco was around six months old. “I couldn’t sleep. My heart was racing. And I got really depressed,” she admitted to USA Today.

6. Marie Osmond

In her memoir, ‘Behind The Smile: My Journey Out of Postpartum Depression,’ Osmond talked about her own struggle. After giving birth to her youngest child, she had been warned by her doctor to take it easy. “I thought his advice was for somebody else. It couldn’t be for anyone as tough as me. I could handle it,” Osmond wrote. “I could have a baby and get right back to work. I could get my family moved, make business decisions, get back in shape. I could get past the ‘baby blues.’ I could do whatever needed to be done. Five minutes later, I was sitting on the kitchen floor, heaving with sobs and all I could think was, ‘This can’t be happening to me.’ This couldn’t be me, collapsing in hysteria, not even recognizing my own wails.”

Prince Suffered From Chronic Illness, NOT Drug Use, Claim Sources

The causes surrounding Prince’s death remain a mystery, to the point where several outlets are (allegedly) coming up with their own theories.

Sources told TMZ that the singer overdosed on the prescription painkiller, Percocet and had to be rushed to an Illinois hospital after pilots made an emergency landing (Prince was flying home to Minnesota from Atlanta) his flight home from Atlanta to Minnesota.

Other “friends” of the late singer say that his death had nothing to do with drugs.

People Magazine reports that Prince battled an “ongoing illness” in the weeks leading up to his death.

“The people close to him were very concerned for his health and indicated he’d been undergoing treatments which made his immune system weak,” a source told the publication.

Prince kept his personal life under lock and key, but his friend and music producer, L.A. Reid told the Today show on April 22nd that his friend was not only not on drugs, but was a vegan.

“The thing that really bothers me about it is the Prince I know was super-healthy, vegan, wasn’t an abuser of drugs, wasn’t an abuser of alcohol,” Reid said.

“He was clean and he looked young and he looked really healthy and vibrant so the whole thing is really mysterious to me.”

In 2009, Prince admitted to PBS that he was born with epilepsy, but it had been cured by an “angel.”

“My mother told me one day I walked in to her and said, ‘Mom, I’m not going to be sick anymore.’

“And she said ‘Why?’ and I said ‘Because an angel told me so,"” Prince recalled.

“Now, I don’t remember saying it, that’s just what she told me.”

Prince was found in the elevator inside his Paisley Park home at 9:45am on April 21st, and was pronounced dead nearly a half hour later.

The autopsy is being conducted today to determine the actual cause of death.

Lamar Odom Suffered Multiple Strokes, MRI Reveals

Last night, Lamar Odom was found unconscious in his suite at the famous Love Ranch brothel in Pahrump, Nevada.

When workers and Love Ranch proprietor Dennis Hof attempted to revive Odom, he reportedly vomited and remained unresponsive.

We learned moments ago that Odom overdosed on drugs and may have suffered permanent brain damage.

Now, TMZ is reporting that an MRI has revealed Odom suffered multiple strokes before he arrived at the hospital.

This is terrible news, as it means that even if the 35-year-old former NBA star emerges from his coma, he’ll almost certainly suffer severe impairments in his ability to walk, talk and perform other basic functions.

The Reverend Jesse Jackson visited Odom today, and bizarrely, he claimed that Odom was showing “signs of responsiveness.”

Hospital sources say that is most definitely not the case and reiterate that Odom has shown no signs of improvement since being airlifted to the ER last night.

Jackson also claims to have spent upwards of 30 minutes with Odom, but again insiders say he is mistaken.

Per hospital policy, Jackson was admitted to Odom’s room for about three minutes to pray with him.

Sadly, it now looks as though the hospital is being turned into a media circus, as reporters and celebrities offer conflicting accounts of what could be Lamar’s final moments.

Lamar Odom Overdosed on Drugs, May Have Suffered Stroke, Doctors Report

Last night, Lamar Odom was found unconscious after several days of partying at the Love Ranch brothel in Nevada.

Odom is currently comatose, and until recently, there were conflicting reports about how he wound up in his present state.

Now, E! News is reporting that Odom has overdosed on several different drugs, and he may have suffered a stroke and permanent brain damage.

“He was doing crack cocaine all weekend and he choked on his mucous,” the insider explains. “They’re now having to fix all the damage it has done.

“So, likely there’s brain damage, but they’re not sure how much. Virtually every drug imaginable was found in his system.”

Doctors add that it appears Odom suffered from an “ischemic stroke,” which is the result of a clot preventing proper blood flow to the brain.

Ischemic strokes are often the result of prolonged cocaine use.

“The long term effects of his drug use have taken a toll on his body and the binge this time was too much to handle,” the source says.

The insider adds that while doctors are “treating this as an overdose situation,” they do not believe that it was a suicide attempt.

We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
