Jenelle Evans Defends Jailbird Boyfriend David Eason

Last week, we learned that Jenelle Evans has a new boyfriend named David Eason.

Eason has been arrested several times and even served time in prison earlier this year.

Obviously, Jenelle has her own history of trouble with the law (She was most recently arrested for assaulting Nathan Griffith’s new girlfriend.), and family and friends are concerned that Eason will prove to be a negative influence who will prevent her from finally getting her life together.

According to Radar Online, however, Evans insists Eason is the best guy she’s ever dated, and she seems convinced that he’s the man she’s been looking for.

“She’s telling friends he’s not a bad guy” says one insider. “He’s a sweetheart and he makes her so f–king happy. He’s a true southern gentleman.”

The source says the couple is moving very fast, and have already introduced their children to one another. (David is also a father of two.)

Apparently, Eason isn’t the slightest bit concerned that Jenelle was engaged to Griffith up until two months ago, and Jenelle isn’t worried about Eason’s mile-long rap sheet, which includes charges for breaking and entering and grand larceny.

“It’s all good because life is perfect since she moved on and she is stress free,” says the insider.

Sigh. We wish her all the best, but this is still Jenelle we’re talking about. This thing should start falling apart in horrific fashion by the end of this week.

The Kardashians Cover Cosmo, Are Apparently "America"s First Family"

We’re very sorry, Barack, Michelle, Sasha and Malia Obama. But you have apparently been usurped as America’s First Family.

According to Cosmopolitan, that honor now belongs to the Kardashians.

In celebration of its 50th anniversary, the publication has gathered Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kylie, Kendall and Kris together for their first family photo in four years.

It has dubbed this clan “America’s First Family,” while simultaneously telling readers to turn the page for the “Easiest Workout for an Epic Ass.”

Seems about right to combine these two, doesn’t it?

“No one could have predicted the Kardashians’ and Jenners’ success,” tells Cosmo in the article.

“But when you spend time with them, what resonates is the family unit. There are so many things about them that are glamorous, crazy, and unlike our lives, but the sense of family is universal.”

Seacrest, of course, produces Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

So he has a financial stake in talking up this family’s supposedly closeness and normalcy.

“They present acceptance,” Seacrest adds, explaining:

You look at Bruce and now [Caitlyn Jenner] – you see the power of a family to come together when it would be so easy to fall apart. There’s comfort in viewing that steadfastness of love.”

There’s also many ratings to be had and a great deal of money to be made.

This issue of Cosmopolitan will hit newsstands on October 13.

Once Upon a Time Season 5 Episode 2 Recap: To the Rescue?

There’s a fine line between good and evil.

As recapped below, this might as well have served as a tagline for Once Upon a Time Season 5 Episode 2

IN CAMELOT, King Arthur reveals that Merlin (who holds the key to turning Emma away from the Darkness) is trapped inside an old tree. Only the Savior can free him, Arthur says.

However, with Emma under a dark spell, that title now belongs to Regina, who tries to pull off a heroic side while attending a ball in her honor in Camelot.

But what began out as a night full of happiness and dancing quickly devolved into a nightmare of tears and bloodshed.

Apparently Percival recognized Regina from her Evil Queen days – when she burnt his childhood town to the ground… oops! – and he was out for revenge.

Fortunately, David stepped up and killed Percival before he could do Regina harm, though he also ended up fatally stabbing Robin Hood. Even bigger oops!

Because the weapon was enchanted, Regina’s magic was powerless to save him. So she had to plead with Emma to use her dark magic.

As we know of course, and as her inner-Rumpelstiltskin stated, all magic comes with a price. Therefore, if Regina wanted magic, she had to pay for it.

The natural question now remaining is this: How?!?

IN STORYBROOKE, residents were having a difficult time adjusting to Emma as the Dark One. Hook even attempt to fix her with True Love’s kiss, but had no luck.

These concerns were pushed aside, though, when a Fury appeared in town and kidnapped Robin in the hopes of bringing him to the underworld.

This magical bounty hunter showed up because Regina fails to pay her pride and the Fury took it upon himself to therefore take her man.

Regina did end up up sacrificing herself to save Robin, but when Mary Margaret and company joined in, they overpowered the Fury and destroyed it.

So it does appear as if the gang thinks Regina is officially a new Savior, one worth believing in.

Finally, after heading home for the evening, Emma is visited by her inner-Rumple once again. He tells of her a new task:

She must reunite Excalibur with the dagger in order to snuff her light out forever and free her from any attachment to her friends and loved ones. She’ll need to get someone to pull the famous sword out of the stone for her, however.
