Kim Kardashian Explains Why Kanye Once Paid Her $1 Million
Before you make any inappropriate jokes in response to the headline above, allow us to say this up front:
No, Kanye West did not pay Kim Kardashian $ 1 million for sex.
That"s weird and gross and just plain rude for you to even think.
But the rapper DID once hand over a check for this amount to his wife, with Kim explaining why to Ashley Graham on the podcast "Pretty Big Deal."

1. Kim Has 118 Million Instagram Followers
This is far more than just something to brag about. It’s something to profit over, as companies across various industries offer someone such as Kim giant sums of money for promoting their product in a social media post.
2. All Celebrities Do It
We’re not passing judgement at all here. Who in his or her right mind would NOT accept a six or seven-figure check for just posing with a cup or tea or something?
3. Six or Seven Figures?!?
Yes. In fact, Kardashian told Graham that she was offered $ 1 million by an unnamed fashion company to simply share an ad on her Instagram page. That’s it. One click, one million dollars.
4. What Was the Brand?
Kim refused to name it, but said it was a “knock off [of] Yeezy” which is obviously the fashion brand owned by her husband. As such, Kanye took issue with the possibility of his wife shilling for a competitor.
5. Fair Enough, Right?
It’s not like Kim is scrambling for pennies in her sofa cusions to make ends meet anyway. She turned it down.

Selena Gomez Obliterates Instagram Record Once Held by Beyonce
Selena Gomez turned 26 over the weekend, and the photos from her birthday bash were dazzling.
The pics were so good, in fact, that the Instagram “likes” poured in with dizzying alacrity.
Selena’s birthday post got so much love so quickly that it absolutely destroyed the previous record … which had belonged to Beyonce herself.
While Hailey Baldwin enjoys Justin Bieber, for better or for worse, Selena Gomez is living her best life. It’s what she deserves.
Remember how Beyonce broke the internet with her twin reveal photo?
That pic received a staggering 7.8 million in only 12 hours.
The pregnancy reveal pic that preceded it received 6.4 million within the first few hours. Beyonce is a powerhouse, there’s no question.
But when the battleground is Instagram, Selena has no equal.
It took Selena’s birthday party post only 13 minutes to reach 1 million likes.
(The number of likes is currently near 9 million and will likely grow by the time that you even finish reading this sentence)
That’s no real surprise.
Selena Gomez has been the reigning champion when it comes to Instagram followers for some time. She is a social media titan and the one to beat.
Even those who come close — like Ariana Grande, Christiano Ronaldo, and Beyonce — can’t quite surpass her follower count.
Not yet, anyway.
Selena is also paid more for Instagram ads.
We all know that Instagram follower counts matter for more than just bragging rights and branding.
Celebrities, no matter how wealthy, can make a small fortune with a few normal photos of themselves, promoting one product or another.
Selena Gomez apparently makes a whopping $ 800,000 per Instagram endorsement. That means that she takes a photo wearing or holding a brand and makes more than three quarters of a million dollars.
Beyonce makes $ 700,000 per photo. Of course, price is based upon more than just follower counts. It also has a lot to do with things like social media engagement.
When it comes to Instagram ad prices, nobody beats out Kylie Jenner — who maks rakes in $ 1 million per pic.
It’s easy to frame this conversation as a competition.
A competition between Selena and Kylie over who makes the most per Instagram ad.
A competition between Beyonce and Selena over who has the most followers, or who got the most likes the fastest.
Instead, let’s keep this in perspective. This was a broken record. One day, perhaps very soon, someone else will get a million likes even faster than Selena.
Social media is fueled by the people on it, and there are more people every single day who sign up for Instagram and click that like button.
So, again, it’s not a competition. Though, if the race to a million likes were a competition … Selena is the current reigning champion.
Selena’s 26 birthday is a big deal.
Not because 26 is a huge milestone. It isn’t. Every birthday after 21 is a grim reminder that we all grow less socially relevant with each passing day as our bodies begin to fail and crumble beneath the weight of time.
No, this birthday is a huge deal because … there were genuine doubts that she would make it this far.
She has been battling Lupus for years. Just a little over a year ago, Selena was rushed to the hospital with kidney failure.
Had it not been for a life-saving kidney transplant, it’s unclear if Selena would still be among the living.
And even now, she continues to struggle with Lupus. Selena’s birthday is worth celebrating for that alone.

Kim Kardashian to Donald Trump: Do the Right Thing For Once!
Back in 2016, Kanye West met with Donald Trump during the then-president-elect’s fraught transition from reality TV blowhard to leader of the free world.
Fans of West’s were surprised, but not terribly stunned, as the visit seemed to have less to do with politics than with the shared worldview of two of America’s most infamous egomaniacs.
In recent weeks, Kanye has doubled-down on his support of Trump, alienating many of his fans in the process.
West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, has hinted that she’s not fully on board with her husband’s politics (Kim supported Hillary Clinton during the 2016 campaign)
Yes, it seems Kim is a firm believer that there are some things that are bigger than politics.
Which is why she’s setting aside her differences with the Donald in service of an important cause.
It was confirmed today that Kim will pay a visit to the White House today in hopes of securing a pardon for Alice Marie Johnson, a 62-year-old great-grandmother who’s currently serving a life sentence at the Aliceville Correctional Facility in Alabama.
Johnson — a first-time, non-violent offender — was sentenced in 1997 on money laundering and drug conspiracy charges.
Normally, appealing to Trump for clemency would be the ultimate long-shot, but those who are well-acquainted with the case say there’s a good chance that Kim’s plea might be successful.
Ivanka Trump has expressed her belief that Johnson should be pardoned, and Kanye’s support of the president has reportedly put Kim in good standing with Trump.
Along with attorney Shawn Holley, Kim has been campaigning for Johnson’s release for quite some time.
Holley has stated that she believes today’s sit-down with Trump represents Johnson’s best chance yet at being pardoned.
Last year, Marie wrote a heartfelt thank you note to Kim, in which she stated her belief that the two of them are part of “a defining moment in history.”
“THE BATTLE IS ON!” her missive concluded.
Difficult as it is to believe, it seems Ivanka is not Kim’s only ally within the White House, as Jared Kushner has been quietly working toward more lenient sentencing and improved prison conditions, citing America’s sky-high incarceration rate as one of its greatest shames.
We’d credit Kush for breaking with the rest of the administration by demonstrating an ounce of human compassion, but he may have been acting out of semi-selfish motives.
Jared’s father, Charles Kushner, was released from prison in 2006 after serving a two-year sentence for tax evasion, witness tampering and making illegal campaign donations.
And let’s face it — Jared might soon be following in the elder Kush’s footsteps.
But the important thing today is that Kim is dedicating her time to a truly worthy cause, thus adding to the list of charitable deeds that’s consistently ignored by her haters.
Roseanne Barr Breaks Silence on Sitcom Cancelation, Tweets Up a Storm Once Again
Less than 24 hours after claiming she was leaving Twitter, Roseanne Barr has returned to Twitter.
This time, however, the controversial comedian has fewer racist “jokes” to make at the expense of African-Americans.
On Tuesday morning, Roseanne wrote that former Barack Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett was what would happen if the “Muslim brotherhood [and] planet of the apes had a baby.”
The actress eventually deleted this horrible insult, but not before it spread around the Internet and ABC reacted by canceling her sitcom.
In a statement, ABC Presidence Channing Dungey said that the huge ratings for Season 10 of the rebooted series no longer warranted a Season 11, not when the show’s star had expressed such inappropriate views.
“Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show,” said Dungey.
This network decision has been applauded all non-racists around the globe.
Roseanne, meanwhile, issued an apology shortly after garnering an extreme amount of backlash online, Tweeting:
I apologize to Valerie Jarrett and to all Americans. I am truly sorry for making a bad joke about her politics and her looks. I should have known better. Forgive me – my joke as in bad taste.
Few folks are forgiving Barr, however, considering her history of being an awful person.
Now, in the wake of this controversy, Roseanne has walked back her claim that she was leaving social media and commented at length on her show’s cancelation.
“Don’t feel sorry for me, guys!!-I just want to apologize to the hundreds of people,and wonderful writers (all liberal) and talented actors who lost their jobs on my show due to my stupid tweet,” Barr wrote, adding:
“I will be on Joe Rogan’s podcast friday.”
She was far from done, however.
“I did something unforgiveable so do not defend me,” she added, prior to making an excuse for her racism:
“It was 2 in the morning and I was ambien tweeting-it was memorial day too-i went 2 far & do not want it defended-it was egregious Indefensible [sic].
“I made a mistake I wish I hadn’t but…don’t defend it please.”
Aside from the lame ambien defense, this may sound all well and good to some.
Roseanne is clearly sorry, right?
Except she has since re-Tweeted a large number of Conversative voices who have, indeed, defended her position and her opinions and think this is yet another Liberal conspiracy.
To wit:
In a now-deleted tweet, Barr also wrote an apology to Jarrett once again, addressing President Obama’s close friend as follows:
“@ValerieJarrett I want to apologize to you. I am very sorry to have hurt you. I hope you can accept this sincere apology!”
Jarrett, meanwhile, has mostly taken the high road in response to her name randomly and terribly being bantered about in this fashion.
“I think we have to turn it into a teaching moment,” she said yesterday in response, adding that Roseanne’s remarks reflect a greater issue in society than her hurt feeling:
“I’m fine. I’m worried about all the people out there who don’t have a circle of friends and followers who come right to their defense.
“The person who is walking down the street minding their own business and they see somebody cling to their purse, or run across the street, or every black parent I know who has a boy who has to sit down and have a conversation — the talk — as we call it.
“As you say, those ordinary examples of racism that happen every single day.”
But back to Barr:
In a series of other Tweets she has since erased, Barr repeats the stance of one follower who thinks ABC is acting in a hypocritical manner.
“I’m calling on @ABCNetwork @Disney to uphold their “standards” by firing @JoyVBehar for calling Christians mentally ill,” this person (and Roseanne) wrote.
“You can’t treat @therealroseanne one way because she supports @realDonaldTrump & allow Joy Behar to remain employed. #BoycottABC #StandWithRoseanne #Roseanne.”
But then after this, Roseanne said:
Please don’t start all of that boycott abc stuff-I’m not a censor and they have the right to do what they wish. It’ all ok. thanks tho guys.
Roseanne was the number-one scripted series of last season with a 6.4 rating among 18-49-year olds, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Wrap reports that Paramount Network, TV Land and CMT have pulled all reruns of the series.
Based on her Twitter spree last night, it’s very possible that Roseanne really was on ambien when she originally Tweeted about Jarrett and was also on ambien in these rambling responses to the scandal.
But plenty of celebrities take sleeping pills and/or other types of medication.
It says something about Roseanne’s personal beliefs that when she does so, this filth comes out of her virtual mouth.

Caitlyn Jenner: I Once Considered Suicide. This is Why.
Caitlyn Jenner has not been in the news very much of late.
But in a new and very revealing interview, the former reality star explains that she once considered never being in the news ever again.
That is, she once considered taking her own life.
Speaking to Channel 4 News this week, the ex-Keeping Up with the Kardashians star opened up like never before about something as personal as it gets.
“One time in my life, I actually thought about it [suicide],” she confessed.
The 68-year-old said she wanted to discuss her struggle in the hopes of raising awareness about the high suicide rates among transgender people.
And then went on to detail exactly when and why this awful thought crossed her mind.
“I’ll never forget it. It was about six months before I came out, and I had a picture.”
A picture? Huh?
The picture was snapped by TMZ and it depicted Jenner walking out of a building in Beverly Hills.
Having just had her tracheal shaved, there was a small bandage on her throat.
Jenner explained how that evening, she received a call from the publication claiming that they had the picture and basically stating/asking:
“So, this is the beginning of transition…?”
Addressing the website’s owner, Harvey Levin, Jenner replied in anger at the time, pleading with the celebrity gossip guru:
“Don’t even talk about this. It’s none of your business and please, when you do stuff like that, it affects people’s lives.”
The photo did end up getting published and going viral.
Aware that would be the case, Caitlyn says she lay in bed and contemplated the worst.
“That night, I knew that that picture was coming out,” she says in this new interview, adding:
“I remember I couldn’t sleep. And I’m walking up and down the halls in my house, all by myself. And I’m thinking to myself, ‘You know what? I’ve got a gun in the other room. I could go in, use it, no more pain, move on.”
How awful.
We simply cannot imagine.
“It seemed like the easy way out,” she says now, upon reflection.
These days, Jenner seemed to be in a great place.
She’s remaining a bit out of the spotlight and may even marry rumored girlfriend Sophia Hutchins.
Has she thought about suicide since this date?
No.
“The next day I get up and I went for a walk and I’m walking through this field all by my little lonesome out in the woods,” she tells Channel 4 about her mindset back then and how it changed.
“And I’m walking through this field and I’m thinking to myself, ‘Wasn’t that like the stupidest thing you could possible do? And that is silence your voice. Why don’t you look at this thing a little bit differently? What don’t you open up your voice? Why don’t you tell your story?
“That was kind of my low-point in life. And from then on, I never thought about it again.”
Speaking to this British outlet, Jenner went on to say that 48 percent of trans people in the United Kingtom have attempted suicide, which is just amazing and depressing to think about.
We admire Jenner for doing whatever she can to be an inspirational voice to those in this situation.

Travis Reinking, Waffle House Shooting Suspect, Once Believed Taylor Swift Was Stalking Him
Travis Reinking is a wanted man.
And, by many recent accounts, Travis Reinking is also a mentally troubled man.
The 29-year old is the main suspect in a horrific shooting that took place late last week, one in which Reinking allegedly opened fire with an AR-15 and killed four people at a Waffle House in Antioch, Tennessee.
Many others at the scene were wounded in the attack and transported to a local hospital.
In a Tweet Monday, the Metro Nashville Police Department said the following about this incident and this search:
“MNPD officers, to include SWAT, have continued the search for Travis Reinking in the Antioch area overnight. There have been no credible sightings. The search will continue.
“All schools in the area have been cleared by officers. He was last seen Sun morn behind his apt complex.”
While all able bodies in the area are looking for Travis Reinking, a disturbing profile of the man has emerged online.
It has quite the unusual and spotted history.
In July of 2017, he breached a White House security barrier and said he wanted to meet President Donald Trump.
Reinking told a Secret Service officer at the time that he was “sovereign citizen” who had a “right to inspect the grounds,” according to a Metropolitan Police Department incident report dated July 7.
Prior to this bizarre trespassing incident, documents obtained by CNN from the sheriff’s office in Tazewell County, Illinois indicate that Reinking was once described by police as exhibiting “delusional” behavior.
“Travis is hostile toward police and does not recognize police authority. Travis also possesses several firearms,” an officer wrote in a May 2016 incident report.
This report was penned because Reinking’s parents had called emergency services to say their son though Taylor Swift was stalking him, and he had made comments about killing himself.
Wait…what was that about Taylor Swift?!?
On May 27, 2016, a Tazewell County Sheriff’s deputy met Reinking and his parents in a drug store parking lot after the latter pair had phoned for assistance, according to authorities.
A paramedic told the responding officer that Reinking believed that Swift was harassing him by stalking and hacking his phone.
This is what an office at the time wrote:
“Travis believed everyone including his own family and the police are involved. Travis stated he did not want to hurt Taylor Swift or anyone else, he only wanted the harassment to stop.”
Reinking was candid about what he believed to be taking place.
He told the cop that the harassment started a few weeks earlier when Swift hacked his Netflix account and told him to meet her at a Dairy Queen.
He then told the officer that when he showed up… she ran off and vanished.
It would be very easy to laugh or scoff at this claim.
But it’s far harder to do so when you consider that Reinking just reportedly killed four people with a machine gun he likely purchased legally.
About a year after this incident, police were called to deal with Reinking again after someone said he came out of his apartment wearing a dress and holding a rifle.
Shortly after Reinking spoke to police about Swift, a group of policemen convinced him to check into a hospital for a mental evaluation.
But it’s unclear what came of this.
“At this point, the young man could be anywhere and whether he might try to return home is a distinct possibility, so our officers are definitely on alert,” Tazewell County Sheriff Robert Huston said Sunday in a news conference.

Chris Marek Settles the Matt Roloff Feud Question Once and for All
Is there or isn’t there… a feud?
Do they or do they not… get along?
Will they or will they not come to blows… over Amy Roloff?
Chris Marek has finally spoken out and provided an answer to these questions, which continue to circulate all around the Internet.
Despite there not being any outward bad blood between Marek and his girlfriend’s ex-husband, Matt Roloff, fans of Little People, Big World continue to pit this pair against each other.
Earlier this week, for instance, Amy Roloff shared a photo of her and Marek, who have been a romantic item for about a year now.
It was simple. It was sweet. It should have been harmless.
But it led followers to somehow attack Matt, claiming he never showered Amy with the sort of affection Chris shows her on a regular basis.
In other words: social media users want there to be a rivalry between Marek and Matt Roloff.
But does one actually exist?
“To be honest, Amy was concerned in the beginning about how Matt and I might interact,” Marek admitted in a recent interview with Radar Online.
However, he continued…
She has “no concerns about that now. Everything is good. Matt and I get along just fine.”
Oh, well… okay then.
That’s far less dramatic and interesting from the perspective of a celebrity gossip website.
But it’s definitely a positive thing for the Roloffs as a whole.
Marek and Amy started dating about nine months after she finalized her divorce from Matt.
The Little People, Big World stars announced to the world in June of 2015 that they were splitting up after 27 years and four kids together.
“We are proud of what we have accomplished together including raising four wonderful children who have grown to become remarkable adults and building our strong and ongoing successful businesses,” they said, adding:
“Our kids and our ever growing family, and the love and support we have for them, will be our priority.
“We will continue to work together side by side in the daily responsibilities for our many current ventures.
“We would like to thank our family, friends and all our fans for their continued support and understanding during this difficult time.”
And this is exactly what has happened.
Amy and Matt remain integral parts of each other’s lives and spend plenty of time together with their kids and grandkids, as you can see in this photo from January:
There are no hard feelings here, as much as a certain segment of the population may want there to be.
Matt is actually dating Caryn Chandler, the former manager of the family farm who was once sort of close to Amy.
Has this created a bit of tension between all parties? Probably.
But have they done an excellent job hiding it and is none of this really our business and we should therefore just butt out and get excited instead for the return of Little People, Big World on April 3?

“I feel much sexier now than I ever did when I was younger.”
She is 67 years old and gorgeous, but it seems that part of that sexiness is simply a state of mind.
In her youth, she was worried over what it meant.
“Then I was like, ‘Oh gosh, I’m supposed to be sexy. What is that?!”
Age, she feels, has liberated her.
“There’s an enormous freedom in having lived as long as I have.”
Loving yourself can be a real key to happiness.
“Like my father used to say, I’m comfortable in my own skin.”
As a beautiful woman, she still finds herself on the receiving end of flirtations from much younger men, characterized as “confident thirtysomethings.”
“I said, ‘Oh darn, in another life.’ I find that very flattering.”
Not everyone’s a cougar. But then, not everyone could land a man half her age with minimal effort.
“I mean, usually you’re invisible by this age!”
But she doesn’t feel in any way insecure about her looks or sex appeal.
“I”m not trying to prove anything to anyone.”
In fact, she doesn’t sound insecure about anything.
“When you’re younger, its all about ‘look at me.’ I’m not trying to get anyone to look at me.
Unfortunately, Jane Seymour has her own harrowing #MeToo story to share, starting with a powerful producer who invited her to his home when she was young and new and needed the work.
She says that he told her: “I’ve persuaded everyone that you are the perfect person to play this role. It wasn’t easy. Now it’s your turn.”
At this point, though no one else was at the house despite her expectations, Jane said that she still believed that this was a professional meeting.
“I said, ‘Yeah, I’m gonna do the screen test.’”
Then her naivete was shattered.
But he apparently said to her: “No, no, now it’s your turn. I’ve done this for you.”
That’s when things got physical.
She says that he then put his hand “in the wrong place.” She then crossed her legs and scooted away from him.
Despite being so terrified that she was shaking, she recalls asking him to call her a cab.

She imparts some advice on readers.
“Everyone will have challenges. Your natural instinct is to close up your heart and let it eat you up. Do something to help someone.”
She says that it will make you into a better person.

Dina Manzo Attacks Kylie Jenner: Try Being a Role Model for Once!
When most people learn that someone else gave birth to a baby, they offer congratulations.
Maybe some advice.
But when Dina Manzo learned that Kylie Jenner had become a first-time mother last week, she chose instead to deliver a rather harsh critique of the reality star.
As most celebrity gossip fans know by now, Kylie welcomed a daughter into the world on February 1.
She did so mostly in secret, having remained both quiet and out of the spotlight for the duration of her pregnancy.
She finally announced the arrival of her first child with Travis Scott via a fairly long and emotional statement this past Sunday.
It read, in part, “I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions,” as she addressed the controversy over her lengthy silence on this issue.
“I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how,” added Kylie. “I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.”

It’s actually pretty mature and insightful.
In our opinion, at least.
But not in the opinion of Manzo.
“Congrats Kylie on your baby girl,” Tweeted the former Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member shortly after Kylie’s birth announcement.
It would have been fine if she had stopped there, of course.
“But maybe think about putting out a “don’t try this at home” kinda thing for your very young fans that look up to you,” she added, concluding:
“Having a baby at 20 is not all silk PJ’s & flower walls~Most kids don’t have the $ and support you’re fortunate enough to have.”
This seems to be a reference to footage Kylie shared of a baby shower in November that included an endless array of pink roses, along with female guests in expensive pajamas.
The ex-Bravo star is not wrong about how being a mother is a major responsibility.
But Jenner does seem to acknowledge this in the above statement.
Her entire point here is basically that she remained away from the public eye specifically to get ready, on her own terms, for the role of parenthood.
There’s A LOT about which one can criticize the Kardashians and Jenners.
It’s certainly weird, for example, that Kylie, Kim, Khloe and Rob have ALL had children out of wedlock.
But we’re not certain it’s Kylie’s job here to try and thwart other unwanted, young pregnancies around the globe.
She comes across in this statement and in general as someone excited to be a first-time mother and someone aware that this is a very big deal.
What more does Dina want from her?
According to an E! News source, meanwhile, Jenner is fully embracing all aspects of having a newborn so far.
“Kylie’s first few days of motherhood have been the happiest of her life,” this insider says.
It’s important to remember, naturally, that E! benefits from propping of Kylie and her siblings, considering this network airs Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Adds the website:
“She feels like being a mom is her true calling and there’s nothing that’s ever felt so right.
“Bringing the baby home has been the greatest joy and most sacred experience, she is elated and overjoyed.
“Kylie felt so ready to meet the baby and had been counting down the weeks for what felt like forever, she can’t believe she’s finally here and in her arms and this journey is beginning.”
