Jane Seymour: A Powerful Producer Once Lured Me to His Home

Jane Seymour, always beautiful and always charming, has done a new interview.

In it, she talks about feeling sexier than ever despite her age, she talks about fending off the flirtations of confident men who are half her age, and her career.

She also shares her harrowing #MeToo story from early in her career.

Taking to Instagram, the gorgeous Jane Seymour couldn’t wait to deliver great news.

“I’m THRILLED to finally share this with you!”

She’s pregnant — we’re kidding! It’s an interview, which is much better for a 67-year-old.

“I was recently photographed and interviewed in my home by Playboy.”

And here’s what she discussed:

“I open up about my career, my family, feeling better-than-ever at 67 and so much more!”

And that interview is now available. Here are some of the highlights:

“I feel much sexier now than I ever did when I was younger.”

She is 67 years old and gorgeous, but it seems that part of that sexiness is simply a state of mind.

In her youth, she was worried over what it meant.

“Then I was like, ‘Oh gosh, I’m supposed to be sexy. What is that?!”

Age, she feels, has liberated her.

“There’s an enormous freedom in having lived as long as I have.”

Loving yourself can be a real key to happiness.

“Like my father used to say, I’m comfortable in my own skin.”

As a beautiful woman, she still finds herself on the receiving end of flirtations from much younger men, characterized as “confident thirtysomethings.”

“I said, ‘Oh darn, in another life.’ I find that very flattering.”

Not everyone’s a cougar. But then, not everyone could land a man half her age with minimal effort.

“I mean, usually you’re invisible by this age!”

But she doesn’t feel in any way insecure about her looks or sex appeal.

“I”m not trying to prove anything to anyone.”

In fact, she doesn’t sound insecure about anything.

“When you’re younger, its all about ‘look at me.’ I’m not trying to get anyone to look at me.

Unfortunately, Jane Seymour has her own harrowing #MeToo story to share, starting with a powerful producer who invited her to his home when she was young and new and needed the work.

She says that he told her: “I’ve persuaded everyone that you are the perfect person to play this role. It wasn’t easy. Now it’s your turn.”

At this point, though no one else was at the house despite her expectations, Jane said that she still believed that this was a professional meeting.

“I said, ‘Yeah, I’m gonna do the screen test.’”

Then her naivete was shattered.

But he apparently said to her: “No, no, now it’s your turn. I’ve done this for you.”

That’s when things got physical.

She says that he then put his hand “in the wrong place.” She then crossed her legs and scooted away from him.

Despite being so terrified that she was shaking, she recalls asking him to call her a cab.

“He put me in a car and said, ‘If anyone knows you ever came here, if you ever tell anyone, ever, I’ll guarantee you never work again anywhere on the planet.’”

She believed him.

“And he had that power. I got in the cab and cried, terrified.”

She did get away at that time and went on to launch a powerful career.

Her fame has had its ups and downs over the years, but every pitfall in her life has been followed by a triumphant rise.

“People say, ‘You’re like a phoenix.’ No, I just had a strong role model in my mother.”

She imparts some advice on readers.

“Everyone will have challenges. Your natural instinct is to close up your heart and let it eat you up. Do something to help someone.”

She says that it will make you into a better person.

“It will heal you. You’ll be like a magnet when you do that. Light to firefly.”

Twitter DESTROYS Megyn Kelly Over Jane Fonda Rant

Megyn Kelly ratcheted up the most random feud of the decade this week, going after Jane Fonda on Monday after the actress gave Kelly a hard time for asking about her plastic surgery procedures.

Several weeks ago, Fonda appeared on Kelly"s hour of TODAY and responded unkindly when Kelly inquired about the work she had done over the years.

In response, Kelly went after Fonda yesterday, bringing up her history of protesting the Vietnam War and calling the long-time star our as an agitator and a hypocrite.

It was quite the scathing few minutes, which we summed up HERE.

After watching this unexpected horror show unfold, countless social media users jumped online and went hard after Kelly, slamming the ex-Fox News host and vowing to never tune in for her program again.

Check out the most savage takes below:

1. You Sure You Want to Bring Up Someone’s History, Megyn?

You sure you want to bring up someones history megyn

Seriously, do you even recall what you used to say on Fox News? Every single night of the week?

2. This Would Be So Fetech

This would be so fetech

Honestly, ratings couldn’t get much worse. Why not try it?

3. Embarrassing, Petty…

Embarrassing petty

These were just two of the words Twitter attached to Kelly’s misguided rant.

4. Was This Just a Ratings Ploy?

Was this just a ratings ploy

Lord knows Kelly could use it. Perhaps this was the equivalent of a clickbait article online.

5. A Dark and Sinister Turn

A dark and sinister turn

Granted, not as dark or as sinister as everything having to do with Matt Lauer. But still.

6. You Insisted That Santa is White!

You insisted that santa is white

Viewers never forget, Megyn. Especially when this happened, like, two years ago.

Megyn Kelly to Jane Fonda: STFU, You Hypocrite!

Megyn Kelly has put Jane Fonda on blast.

There"s a sentence we"re guessing you didn"t expect to read today.

But the NBC anchor took a few moments out from her program on Monday to address the quasi feud brewing between her and Fonda, which started a few weeks ago when the veteran actress sat down for an interview with Kelly.

Fonda was on hand at the time to promote the film Our Souls at Night – and she did not respond kindly to Kelly bringing up her many plastic surgery procedure on air.

"I read that you said you felt you"re not proud to admit that you"ve had work done. Why not?" Kelly asked of Fonda, who responded tersely:

"We really want to talk about that now?"

The exchange went viral because, well, it was very awkward.

And now Kelly has gone on the offensive against Fonda, explaining why she pursued this line of questioning and calling Fonda out. Hard.

"When she first complained publicly after the program and repeatedly, I chose to say nothing as my general philosophy is what other people think of me is none of my business," Kelly opened.

"However, Fonda was at it again last week including here on NBC and then again elsewhere, so it"s time to address the "poor me" routine."

Oh, yes, Kelly held nothing back in this mini rant.

"First, some context," she explained, prior to adding:

"Fonda was on to promote a film about aging. For years she has spoken openly about her joy in giving a cultural face to older women.

"Well, the truth is most older women look nothing like Fonda, who is now 80 and if Fonda really wants to have an honest discussion about older women"s cultural face, then her plastic surgery is tough to ignore.

"Fonda herself knows this. She knows this and that is why, to her credit, she has discussed her cosmetic surgery pretty much everywhere before coming on our show."

The show then aired a handful of clips of Fonda talking about her plastic surgery to various outlets and her reasoning for it.

Kelly"s general point is that Fonda has opened the plastic surgery door many times and was out of line in making it look like Kelly was out of line for bringing it up.

"Apparently, when she came here, however, again to promote her film about aging, I was supposed to discern that this subject was suddenly off-limits," Kelly continued.

"Look, I gave her the chance to empower other women, young and old, on a subject which she purports to know well and she rejected it.

That"s ok, but I have no regrets about that question, nor am I in the market for a lesson from Jane Fonda on what is and is not appropriate.

"After all, this is a woman whose name is synonymous with outrage."

From here, Kelly brought up Fonda"s comments during the Vietnam War, saying the actress set out to "shame" American troops.

She also took Fonda to task for more recently telling the BBC that she was NOT proud of her country because it elected Donald Trump as President.

But she is proud of the "resistance."

Seriously, Kelly went deep with this take-down.

"So, the moral indignation is a little much," she concluded of Fonda.

"She put her plastic surgery out there. She said she wanted to discuss the plight of older women in America and honestly she has no business lecturing anyone on what qualifies as offensive."

Jane Fonda Reveals Rape, Childhood Abuse in Shocking New Interview

Jane Fonda is a remarkable woman.

From her support to the civil rights movement in the 1960s to her involvement with several feminists causes to, let’s be real, her iconic workout videos, she’s been an inspiration to many.

And in this new interview with the also amazing Brie Larson, Jane is really just taking our appreciation of her to an entire new level.

Jane, who turns 80 this year, kicked things off by giving some real talk about feminism — particularly about the struggles of growing up as a woman so many years ago.

“I grew up in the ’50s,” she explains, “and it took me a long time to apply feminism to my life. The men in my life were wonderful, but victims of a [patriarchal] belief system. I felt diminished.”

She says that the first time she truly felt she was a feminist was when she saw Eve Ensler do a performance of The Vagina Monologues — which would have been in the mid 90s at the earliest.

“It took a long time” for her to call herself a feminist though, “because I was brought up with the disease to please.”

She went on to say, and this is where things really take an intense turn, that “To show you the extent to which a patriarchy takes a toll on females; I’ve been raped, I’ve been sexually abused as a child and I’ve been fired because I wouldn’t sleep with my boss and I always thought it was my fault.”

“That I didn’t do or say the right thing.”

“I know young girls,” she says, “who’ve been raped and didn’t even know it was rape. They think, ‘It must have been because I said ‘no’ the wrong way."”

“One of the great things the women’s movement has done is to make us realize that [rape and abuse] is not our fault. We were violated and it’s not right.”

This is the first time Jane’s ever publicly said that she’s been raped — after so many years of speaking up for women’s rights, it must have taken a lot for her to share this.

It’s not the only thing she shared though. She also discussed her controversial opposition to the Vietnam War.

“I didn’t become an activist until I was 31,” she says. “When I found out what was really happening in Vietnam I didn’t care if I ever worked again; I considered leaving the business to become a full-time activist.”

She recalls that “My father was terrified for me. He remembered the ’50s when people’s careers were destroyed.”

Jane even adds that, with Trump as president, “It’s possible the [Hollywood] blacklist will be brought back.”

And on the topic of Trump, she says that there are many battles to be fought, including but certainly not limited to the fight against defunding Planned Parenthood.

About being an activist for so many years, she says “Honey, I am almost 80 years old. If you want to make it to the long-haul, you have to take care of yourself.”

“I get more than eight hours sleep every night; I meditate twice a day for half an hour; I eat right; I workout.”

“I always tell activists: ‘This is going to be a long struggle. We have to stay strong.”

Yes, Jane Fonda. Just … yes.
