Paul Walker Documentary Includes Previously Unseen Footage

Late last year, Meadow Walker settled her lawsuit with Porsche over the death of her father, the late, great Paul Walker.

Now, his family and loved ones are honoring him with a documentary about him, titled I Am Paul Walker.

In the trailer for it below, you can see previously unreleased footage of him. Take a look:

After a glimpse of footage at a young teenage Paul getting nervous in front of a camera, his brother Cody Walker speaks.

"He was a big kid," Cody says of his dearly departed brother. "He was a big kid."

Director Wayne Kramer also speaks about Paul.

"That guy made the best of every single minute," Wayne says.

Wayne continues, saying: "He lived five lifetimes."

Paul was also survived by his sister, who speaks about how she remembers him

"He liked to go fast," Ashe Walker says. "As soon as I was old enough to hold on tight, I was on the back of his bigwheel with him going for the ride of my life."

Oakley Lehman, a childhood friend and a stunt performer, speaks of Paul"s complexity and apparent contradictions.

"The gun-toting hippie," Oakley says of his late friend, praising Paul as the "balance of opposites."

"You know?" Oakley continues. "A lover and a fighter."

Another childhood friend, Andy Muxlow, refers to Paul"s perpetual free spirit.

"He"s definitely not a puppet," Andy says.

"You know?" Andy asks. "He"s definitely not somebody that"s gonna just be told to do something and then do it."

Director Rob Cohen says that, as much as fans grew to love Paul Walker through the camera, that barely scratched the surface on the man he knew.

"Cinema didn"t capture it all," Rob laments. "Couldn"t capture it all."

Rob summarizes Paul"s priorities in life: ""My daughter, my surfing. That"s the life. And that"s what I care about.""

Matt Luber, Paul"s manager, speaks about how Paul was not obsessed with is status as a celebrity or even as an actor.

"Paul was always an actor who had one foot in and one foot out. He could just disappear," Matt says.

Paul walker age 13

Caleb Walker, Paul"s other brother, speaks of Paul"s occassional impulses and fantasies of solitary anonymity.

"He"d always say, like, "I want to be a park ranger." You know?" Caleb says. "Make 28 grand a year, live in the wilderness. That"s really what he wanted to do."

Rhett Walker, Paul"s uncle, gushes about the impact that his late nephew had on countless individuals.

"I can actually say he did a lot of things that made a lot of difference in a lot of people"s lives," Rhett says.

Not everyone can say the same.

Fast and furious cast

Tyrese Gibson is an actor and was one of Paul"s costars in the Fast and Furious franchise.

"He was a giver," Tyrese says. "If you loved him the way we did, you would say "Well, why him and not us?""

That is a normal way to grieve a lost friend.

I Am Paul Walker premieres on August 11 at 9pm on the Paramount Network.

Meadow Walker and Porsche Settle Wrongful Death Suit

Nothing can bring back the late, great Paul Walker.

But his daughter, Meadow Walker, knows this. She’s been waging a battle to find justice for her father’s senseless, but ultimately preventable, death.

And it appears that she has now won.

In 2013, Paul Walker died as the result of a fatal collision. He was not the only fatality in the crash, but it’s his death that tore at the hearts of millions of fans.

His death had a stronger and more personal impact on the cast of the The Fast And The Furious franchise, who were like family to him and regarded him in the same manner.

But Paul Walker also left behind a daughter.

Meadow Walker is now 18.

She’s inherited her father’s humanitarian spirit, his passion for environmentalism, and his stunning good looks.

Seriously:

Meadow has been working to get justice for her late father.

No parent wants their child to have to fight that sort of battle for them, but sometimes, that’s how life works out.

Last April, Meadow Walker was awarded $ 10.1 million in a settlement from the estate of Roger Rodas,

Roger Rodas was the man driving the car and therefore, it was decided, partially liable for the accident that ended his life and Paul Walker’s.

(Of course, that settlement represents a tiny fraction of the amount of money that Paul Walker would have gone on to earn had his life and career not been cut tragically short)

But the grim details of the crash aren’t as simple as Paul Walker dying from the impact.

Because he survived the initial impact.

It was determined that he was trapped and injured by the seatbelt of the Carrera GT (made by Porsche), and that he was therefore unable to escape .. and burned to death.

That’s horrible for anyone to imagine. It’s even worse for Meadow Walker to live with that knowledge.

So Meadow Walker’s legal team has also been working on a wrongful death suit aimed at Porsche.

Her team has been arguing that Porsche knew that the Carrera GT was defective in this way but didn’t do enough to correct the problem.

The Blast has obtained documents that Meadow Walker and Porsche have settled.

The details of the resolution have not been made public, but both parties involved have asked that the suit be dismissed.

Paul Walker’s father had filed a separate suit against Porsche, which also appears to have been dismissed.

Whatever the settlement that the parties involved agreed upon, this must come as a tremendous relief for Meadow Walker.

It can be so hard to be at peace with loss, but maybe with this legal fight behind her, she can feel like there’s just a little bit more closure.

Losing a loved one like that will never be okay. Not four years later, and not forty.

But being secure in the knowledge that you did all that you could to get justice? That goes a long way towards bringing some peace of mnd.

And, again, Meadow Walker’s commitment to great causes in her father’s name amount to a very worthy tribute to the late, beloved actor.

Meadow Walker Honors Late Father, Urges Fans to "DO GOOD"

Paul Walker would have turned 44 years old on Tuesday.

Tragically, of course, the beloved actor was killed in a car crash back in November of 2013.

Never far from the minds of his fans, especially when a new Fast and Furious movie comes out, Walker lost his life in a single-car accident outside of Los Angeles after he lost control of his Porsche and slammed into a tree.

The vehicle exploded and Walker died at the scene.

Meadow Walker was only 15 years old at the time, instantly getting thrust into the spotlight for the most horrific of reasons.

In the time since, Meadow has picked her spots carefully when it comes to speaking out and paying tribute to her dad, such as the instance when she referenced him with a throwback photo and message on Father’s Day.

And now the teenager has done so again.

“In honor of my dad’s birthday today, we’re challenging you to DO GOOD!” Meadow wrote as a caption to the image below, adding:

“Share a video or photo of your random act of kindness and nominate 4 people to join the challenge!

“Be sure to tag the foundation as well as hashtag #PWFdogoodchallenge, so we can check out all of your posts!”

Walked tagged out the late actor’s close friend and Fast and Furious co-star, Vin Diesel, to do the challenge… Diesel responded by sharing his own touching tribute in honor of Walker’s birthday on Tuesday.

Posting a cute flashback photo of Paul holding his daughter Hania on Instagram, Diesel made a point to say she was very “proud” of Meadow.

“Happy birthday Pablo… You have and are still changing the world,” Diesel wrote.

He continued:

“Your love lives through all whom have had the great fortune to know you. Meadow graduated this summer… made us all so proud. She is even building a foundation in your name to help the world.

“Would you believe Cody [Paul’s brother] is in Houston continuing the work you were so passionate about… Remember when we were in Haiti and you asked me what the name should be… and now @reachoutww is realizing the dream.

“All the angels miss you… I miss you.”

It brings a tear to our eye every time Diesel or another former co-star brings up Walker.

The affection they had for him is so clear. There’s nothing fake or forced about these tributes.

Paul Walker really did leave a lasting impression on everyone with whom he came into contact.

May he rest in peace.

Now, if you’ll excuse us, we need to take Meadow’s advice and go do some good in the world.

Meadow Walker Breaks Social Media Silence with Beautiful New Selfie

Meadow Walker might sound like the name of some ethereal nature spirit, but she is, of course, the daughter of the late Paul Walker, who tragically died in 2013 when she was only 15.

In recent months, however — really, for the past year — she’s been publicly silent on social media. Until this week, that is, when she posted a brand new selfie. She’s grown into a truly beautiful young woman.

Fame can be challenging, but being famous because your famous father died when you were still a minor is on a whole other level.

Meadow has made appearances on her father’s behalf.

Paul Walker was known for his charitable work, and Meadow has continued that tradition.

She created the Paul Walker Foundation in his memory, and at the time, she explained that on Instagram.

“Reflecting on my father, I found myself reflecting on his passions.”

“His passion for the ocean, his passion for rescuing animals, his passion for helping people, and his passion for spontaneous good will”

“I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world.”

“I want to share that part of him with others. I am tremendously proud to be launching The Paul Walker Foundation on his birthday. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate my father.”

That’s beautiful.

But her new photo doesn’t come with a charitable plug, or any caption whatsoever.

Honestly?

That doesn’t need a caption.

Meadow Walker is a beautiful 18-year-old girl, and it’s nice to see her posting photos to social media.

Not just because it’s good to see that she’s alright.

And also not just because she’s drop-dead gorgeous.

(Though also that — good for her!)

But it’s good to see her out of the context of charitable work.

And, as sweet as Meadow Walker’s 2015 Father’s Day tribute to her dad was, it’s nice to see her out of the context of mourning him, also.

Essentially, it’s great to see the non-business side of Meadow, where she’s just living her life.

She’s 18 and she has her whole life ahead of her, after all.

Her previous most recent post to Instagram was made last July — yes, in 2016 — along with a photo of herself and her father in the pool.

“Feeling so honored to combine two of my dad’s legacies into one incredible experience.”

That pretty much sums up a lot of her work.

“Today marks your LAST chance to support The Paul Walker Foundation for a chance to go to the set of #F8, hang out with the cast, AND check out some of the most incredible cars in the world.”

That film has, of course, already come out, which really makes it clear how long ago this last post was.

“Enter through the link in my bio or visit omaze.com/fast for your last chance to win! Don’t miss out, it’s going to be a great time.”

Now that’s pretty much an advertisement, though it’s for a good cause.

And it may have not been her post, but made by an assistant.

But it’s very likely that Meadow has a private Instagram account to use with friends, as most celebrities do.

She’s not a(n adorable) baby anymore.

Her father wouldn’t want her to spend all of her time in his shadow without being her own person, you know?

This wasn’t her first extended absence from Instagram — last time, Meadow Walker posted a bikini photo to announce her return.

It would be amazing if she’s back for good and will start updating regularly.

But she can take as many breaks from the public spotlight as she needs to.

Vin Diesel Accepts Special Award, Pays Tribute to Paul Walker

It was a night of emotional firsts at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards.

As previously documented, Emma Watson took home the trophy for Best Actor in Film and TV, overcoming a field of nominees that included both men and women.

Elsewhere, MTV honored an entire film franchise with its Generation Award for the first time, as opposed to a single individual.

In accepting the honor on behalf of his Fast & Furious co-stars, Vin Diesel took to the stage and talked emotionally about the one co-star who is no longer with us:

Paul Walker.

“In 2002, I was standing on this stage and MTV had given Paul Walker and I an award for best duo,” said Diesel. “And now, 15 years later, I’m with my whole family and you’ve given us the Generation Award.”

Diesel was joined at the event by castmates Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster.

He got teary-eyed as he paid thought back over the years, talking about how far the franchise has come and, of course, sharing memories of Walker, who died in a 2013 car crash.

He and Diesel were especially close.

Referring to Walker by the nickname “Pablo,” Diesel addressed his late friend directly at one point, saying simply: “We hope you’re proud.”

Diesel also made a point to thank fans for the honor, telling all those in attendance and all those watching at home:

“I gotta thank a generation that was willing to accept this multicultural franchise, where it didn’t matter what color your skin was or what country you were from…

"When you’re family, you’re family."

Preceding Diesel’s great speech, a video montage of the franchise – along with Walker’s best moments in it – played for the crowd.

Watch the video and the speech below:

Ann Coulter: I Am NOT Dating Jimmie Walker!

You might know Ann Coulter as the lovechild of the Scarecrow and the Wicked Witch of the West, who spends her days spreading hate, championing neo-Nazism, and avoiding water for fear of a nasty melting incident.

But it turns out there’s a sign of Ann Coulter a you never knew about.

A human, loving side. A side that might best be described as …

DY-NO-MITE!

That’s a photo of Ann with Jimmie Walker.

Both of our readers who are old enough will remember Jimmie from his time on the classic ’70s sitcom Good Times.

(He used to say “Dynamite!” a lot in a funny way, hence why our joke was totes hilarious. We’ll show ourselves out …)

Anyway, that’s not the only photo of Ann and Jimmie.

It turns out there are lots of them, from all sorts of different events.

The reason, according to iconic television producer Norman Lear, is that Ann and Jimmie are a longtime, low-key couple.

“I love [Walker]; he’s a wonderful guy, but I’ll tell you something about him that’ll astound you: He dates Ann Coulter,” Lear said in a recent interview with Black-ish creator Kenya Barris.

Along with the rest of the world, Barris reacted with shock.

After all, Walker is a mere mortal, while Coulter might be the living incarnation of evil.

Fortunately, if you’re worried about Coulter getting close to Walker for purposes devouring his eternal soul, it looks like you can breathe easy:

“Best of friends, love him, no romance,” Coulter tweeted yesterday in response to the Walker rumors.

However, in the past, Coulter given ample reason to believe that there’s more going on here than just a friendship:

“He is so hilarious, so I see him a lot when I’m in L.A.,” she told The Huffington Post on 2013.

“But we are not technically dating.”

Of course, “not technically dating” is a phrase that’s only ever been used by people who are totally having sex.

So at the very least, Ann and Jimmie have been having sex since 2013.

Take a good look at your future, Tomi Lahren.

You may want to lock down one of those lesser-nerds from The Big Bang Theory before it’s too late!
