Amy Schumer Goes Makeup-Free; Internet Goes Nuts

Any comedian who’s around long enough will eventually perform a joke that’s similar to another comic’s material. As such, joke stealing controversies are common to the world of standup.

Following her recent HBO special, Amy Schumer was accused of stealing a routine from the late comedian Patrice O’Neil. TMZ recently caught up with Amy and asked her about the allegations, but not surprisingly, the Internet has chosen to fixate on the fact that she wasn’t wearing any makeup while she defended herself:

“I would never take anyone’s joke,” Amy assured the cameraman when asked about the O’Neil situation. “Patrice was my really good friends…I never saw him do those jokes.”

She points out that it would be pretty ridiculous for her to close her first HBO special with stolen material (jacked from her dead friend, no less).

Like everything Amy does, the response was grounded, insightful and relatable. And, as is too often the case with Schumer, Internet jackasses chose to focus on her appearance:

“She need to steal herself some make up,” wrote one commenter.

“She may not be a thief but she is definitely looking like a crazy homeless lady in this pic,” wrote another.

We actually think it’s awesome that Amy showed no shyness about talking to TMZ even though she wasn’t all dolled up.

It’s one thing to talk about body positivity on stage, but it’s another to practice what you preach and show your true self to the world without an ounce of shame.

Just one more reason that we adore Amy Schumer:

Zendaya Calls Out Magazine for Photoshop, Aims to Keep It Real

Zendaya Coleman is all about keeping it real.

The young actress, who has never been afraid to speak her mind, has taken issue with the latest issue of Modeliste.

The 19-year old jumped on Instagram early Wednesday to call out the publication for running an edited picture of her inside its cover this month.

“Had a new shoot come out today and was shocked when I found my 19 year old hips and torso quite manipulated,” Zendaya wrote, posting side-by-side comparisons of the two images.

The one on the right, above, is the original version; the one on the left has been Photoshopped.

“These are the things that make women self conscious, that create the unrealistic ideals of beauty that we have,” Zendaya added.

“Anyone who knows who I am knows I stand for honest and pure self love.”

The magazine actually replied to Zendaya’s criticism and removed the pictures, prompting Coleman to write in response:

“Thank you @modelistemagazine for pulling down the images and fixing this retouch issue.”

Zendaya, of course, found herself at the center of another fashion-related scandal back when she wore her hair in braids on the Academy Awards red carpet… and Giuliana Rancic took issue with the look.

Daniel Radcliffe Admits to Being Drunk on Harry Potter Set, Shades Tom Cruise

When you see footage of Daniel Radcliffe rapping an Eminem song in its entirety at a bar, you might assume the dude has had a few.

But as he’s said in numerous interviews, Radcliffe hasn’t touched a drop in several years, having sworn off the sauce after losing control of his drinking in his late teens and early twenties.

Of course, during that time, Radcliffe was also filming the final installments of the Harry Potter franchise, and he’s repeatedly dodged questions about whether or not he performed any drunkus at workus spells on set.

In a new interview with Playboy, however, Radcliffe opens up about everything from boozing to masturbation, and it turns out he did, in fact, sip a little firewhiskey in the halls of Hogwarts:

“I can say lots of well-meaning stuff—why it happened and how I stopped—for three hours, and the headline would be DRUNK ON THE SET OF HARRY POTTER,” Radcliffe said. “So I don’t talk about it as much now.”

We understand Daniel’s reluctance to talk about his sobriety, and we hate to fulfill his splashy headline prophecy, but c’mon – “drunk on the Harry Potter set” is too good to pass up.

In the same interview, Daniel was asked about the challenges of being a short guy in Hollywood, and he had this to say:

“Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise have very different careers, and they’re both about the same height as I am…If you’re asking, ‘Can you play a really fucking tall person?’ No, obviously not.”

It’s an interesting comment that some folks are interpreting as shade, because 1. Tom Cruise does attempt to play tall dudes (which Daniel seems to think is lame), and 2. He’s “officially” several inches taller than Radcliffe (who cops to being 5’5″).

We’re guessing he didn’t intend to call Tom out for lying about his height, but we like when other celebs confirm that Cruise’s Xenu thetans didn’t actually help him sprout to six foot.

Brandi Glanville: Booked for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 6!

We’re very sorry, Bravo viewers.

But you have not seen the last of Brandi Glanville on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Despite both sides confirming this summer that Glanville was done with the popular reality show (by her own volition, Glanville claimed), insiders now tell Us Weekly that this isn’t exactly the case.

No, the controversial star will not return as a full-time cast member.

But, yes, Glanville has already filmed a few appearances on Season 6.

“She’ll pop up here and there,” one source tells the tabloid of the awful 42-year old, who clashed big time last season with Kyle Richards, Lisa Vanderpump and Eilenne Davidson.

Back in July, Glanville lashed out at former co-stars Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards after they implied that Bravo fired their hated rival.

Brandi appeared on The Howard Stern show at the time and fought back against that assertion, referring to Vanderpump and Richards as cunts.

Bravo, meanwhile, has not commented on Glanville’s rumored recurrence on Season 6, but it has confirmed two new women will be joining the cast:

Kathryn Edwards, the ex-wife of NFL legend Marcus Allen; and Erika Jayne, a singer from Atlanta, Georgia, are both on board.

Still, these additions weren’t enough in the eyes of those behind the scenes.

“Producers brought [Brandi] back to bring in some drama and liven things up,” a second source tells Us Weekly.

It’s safe to assume she will do both those things.
