Donald Trump Ponders Starbucks Boycott, is on Team Christmas

Presidential candidates are tackling the tough issues this week.

Take Jeb Bush, who said in a recent interview that he would kill baby Hitler if given the chance.

And now take Donald Trump (PLEASE!).

The top contender for the Republican nomination spoke to a crowd in Springfield, Illinois on Monday, touching on the debate surrounding Starbucks, which has chosen to make its holiday-themed coffee cups simply red this season.

The lack of Christmas decorations on these cups has caused some to believe that Starbucks hates Jesus.

Where does Trump stand on the giant scandal?

“I have one of the most successful Starbucks, in Trump Tower. Maybe we should boycott Starbucks? I don’t know,” Trump said, adding that he won’t be resigning his lease with the company due to this debacle.

And tossing in a promise to all who feel passionately about this issue:

“If I become president, we’re all going to be saying Merry Christmas again, that I can tell you. That I can tell you.”

It’s unclear, of course, how Trump will enforce this rule.

Will he build a wall around all who refuse to utter those two magical words?

More importantly, where does Trump stand on the topic of ending baby Hitler’s life?

We can only hope (nay… pray!) that these are two of the questions that are posed to the candidate at tonight’s Presidential debate.

Yes, Jeb Bush Would Kill Baby Hitler

Your move, Donald Trump.

In an interview with The Huffington Post, Trump"s favorite political punching bag, fellow Republican Presidential nominee Jeb Bush, admitted that he would play the role of murderer in a very specific, extremely hypothetical situation.

Yes, the brother of George W. Bush would kill Adolf Hitler before the former German dictator ever came into power.

The New York Times Magazine originally posed this unusual, historical question to its readers in late October, receiving some fairly even results in the end.

At the time 42 percent said yes, 30 said no and 28 said they weren’t sure what they were do in this circumstance.

But Bush – who has struggled to connects with votes; who has had trouble looking like he even cares about the election; and who is more awkward on stage than Kim Kardashian is wearing clothes – says in this video that he doesn"t really see any other choice in the matter.

“Hell yeah, I would!” the former Florida governor says. “You gotta step up, man.”

Granted, Bush acknowledges how history can be changed via a single action (forgetting the name of the "Michael Fox" movie franchise that proved this conundrum)… but, come on.

“It could have a dangerous effect on everything else, but I’d do it – I mean, Hitler,” Bush said, citing the name of world"s most mass murderer as all the explanation he needs.

To some, it may seem like an easy question.

Who would NOT kill Hitler before he could wipe out millions of Jewish people?

But then there likely would not be World War II. And who knows how history would be affected by removing such a significant historical event?

Do you agree with Jeb Bush? Given the opportunity, would you end baby Hitler"s life, no matter how adorable the future dictator may have been as a child?

Jeb bush would totally kill baby hitler

Caitlyn Jenner Honored as Glamour Woman of the Year, Gives Stirring Speech

Caitlyn Jenner was among the influential females honored on Monday night at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards.

The reality star – who came out as transgender in an April interview with Diane Sawyer prior to introducing herself as Caitlyn on the cover of Vanity Fair a few weeks later – was hailed at the event as “The Trans Champion.”

She then moved the audience to tears, cheers and laughter during her stirring acceptance speech at New York’s Carnegie Hall.

“There was a French activist and writer, Simone de Beauvoir, who said, ‘You are not born woman. You become one’ … Words I live by,” she joked at the outset of her speech.

Back in July, Caitlyn Jenner also won an ESPY for courage, bringing the crowd to its feet at the time with her inspirational message.

“I am so blessed I have family, Caitlyn added. “And not one of them has abandoned me; they’ve all been support of me. It’s incredible.”

Jenner said these words in a video collage before taking the stage, as Kylie Jenner said in the audience as a show of support for her father.

“Of all the things I’ve done in my life, Caity is why God put me on this earth: to tell my story; to be honest with myself about who I am,” Jenner said.

“And in doing that, making a difference in the world. And I’m very happy to be living on the other side.”

Caitlyn also noted that she finally for her driver’s license last week, with the picture and gender marker reading “F.”

She talked openly about conversations she had with her pastor about her “issues,” and explained how she sat with each of her 10 children to discuss what was going on.

“Because for so many years, I lost my enthusiasm for life,” Caitlyn said. “Literally, sitting in my house for almost six years. Because I never really wanted to come out – just to go to work, that was about it.

“Now, actually, I like going out. And I like being myself.

“And in doing that, it’s been an amazing the opportunity we have for change, for people to understand this issue because it’s so difficult.”

The real question now remains this: Will Caitlyn Jenner end up with the ultimate honor, THG Celebrity of the Year?

Dancing with the Stars Results: The Biggest Shocker in History?!

With only six celebrities to go, would Monday night’s Dancing with the Stars provide some breathing room for the favorites, or produce another upset?

The remaining stars’ scores have all been fairly consistent, so it remained anyone’s Mirror Ball to win or lose … but boy, can this show deliver a shocker.

The stakes and emotions were particularly high in the ballroom as the remaining six couples each had to dance not once, but twice Monday.

First, individual routines – except Tamar Braxton, who was hospitalized and missed hers – and then paired routines matched in sets of two.

Amazingly, Tamar made it back for the latter, thus saving herself a legally mandated Kim Zolciak elimination-like ouster… but did it matter?

Was it enough to save her from the chopping block?

It was. And you will not believe who got the boot

Derek Hough and Bindi Irwin continued their domination of the dance floor, while Alexa PenaVega and Mark Ballas also had a terrific night.

Alexa’s husband, Carlos PenaVega, didn’t do as well with a Justin Bieber-themed tango, perhaps since everything Bieber touches is cursed.

Coming in one point ahead of Carlos and Witney were Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess, who wowed the crowd with their tight quickstep.

Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold continued to struggle, though at least they did better than Tamar, who hadn’t shown up at that point.

When it came time for the Showstopper routines, Alexa and Mark as well as Bindi and Derek killed it with a Chicago-inspired Charleston.

They landed a perfect 30, while Alec and Lindsay, along with Carlos and Witney, fell short with a paso doble to “We Will Rock You” by Queen.

Then, in a stunning twist, Tamar made it there to join Val, Nick, and Sharna for a rumba inspired by Cirque du Soleil’s Beatles show, Love.

The mere fact that pneumonia-addled Tamar made it to the stage was impressive – and directly led to one of the most shocking results ever.

Dancing with the Stars’ scoreboard from Showstopper Night:

  • Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough (Viennese waltz): 30/30

  • Alexa PenaVega and Mark Ballas (Contemorary): 30/30

  • Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess (Quickstep): 28/30

  • Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson (Argentine tango): 27/30

  • Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold (Salsa): 24/30

  • Tamar Braxton and Val Chmerkovskiy (Contemporary): 22/30

Pretty clear hierarchy, yes? Either Alek or Tamar would go, no?

Oh no. We audibly gasped as Alexa PenaVega, who had just earned TWO perfect scores, would be going home this week. In tears, naturally.

“I wish it had been me,” her husband Carlos whispered in her ear.

“It’s okay,” Alexa said. “I’m just so happy we ended on this note.”

Amazing. Simply no words to describe this night in the ballroom.

What do you think? Did the right couple get eliminated? And who will take home the Mirror Ball title later this fall on Dancing with the Stars?
