Track Palin Avoids Jail Time After Domestic Assault Arrest

Track Palin was facing some pretty serious charges.

Sarah Palin’s 28-year-old son was arrested in January following an alcohol-induced fight with his girlfriend.

The charges, according to Radar Online, were “4th degree assault, interfering with a domestic violence charge, and possession of a weapon while intoxicated.”

At a July 11th hearing, the first two charges were dropped, and Palin pled guilty to the last.   The hearing was then moved to Anchorage Veterans Court, since Palin served as an army reservist in Iraq in 2008.

This particular court is specialized, in that it’s “designed to facilitate the rehabilitation of eligible veterans who are charged with criminal offenses.”

The aim is to keep the number of veteran offenders out of jail and get them the help they need to recover.

Palin’s next hearing is July 25th, and Anchorage District Attorney Clinton Champion told Radar that the court will let Palin know who sort of therapeutic program he’ll be required to follow.

“We’re assuming he’s going to agree [to the program],” Champion added.

“That program could take months. It depends on his needs.”

This kind of rehab is put on by Veterans Affairs, who assess the patient to determine what kind of treatment would be most effective.

“For some people, it’s addiction assistance,” Clinton said.

For some, it’s related to anger management or domestic violence. Most everyone does moral reconation therapy, which is a 12 Step program to deal with thinking errors, specifically.”

The details of Palin’s altercation with his girlfriend are upsetting.  Police reports state that he “struck her on the left side of her head near her eye with a close fist,” then “kicked [her] on the right knee.”

Sarah Palin blamed the arrest on both PTSD and President Obama (a notion that Donald Trump agrees with).

“My son like so many others, they come back a bit different, they come back hardened, they come back wondering if there is that respect for what it is that their fellow soldiers and airmen and every other member of the military so sacrificially have given to this country,” she said.

“And that starts from the top. It’s a shame that our military personnel even have to wonder, if they have to question, if they’re respected anymore. It starts from the top.

“The question though that comes from our own president where they have to look at him and wonder, do you know what we go through?”

Kailyn Lowry Flaunts Weight Loss, Butt Lift Results

Back in December of 2015, Kailyn Lowry underwent a Brazilian butt lift procedure.

In the months since,  the Teen Mom 2 star also shed several pounds. The girl is clearly feeling herself these days, and we don’t blame her.

Ms. Lowry posted the above pic to Instagram today, purportedly to promote the “body analyzer scale” that she’s standing on.

But clearly the photo doubled as an opportunity to show off her new booty and midsection.

Obviously, his isn’t the first time that Kailyn has flaunted the results of her hard work and expensive procedure.

However, we thought we’d share it as a way of giving props.

Think for a moment about everything that went into this photo.

Not only is the girl showing off her trimmed-down physique, she’s getting paid to do it.

In order to appreciate that level of hustle, you have to take some time to think about where the other ladies of the Teen Mom franchise are in their lives:

Jenelle Evans is fighting two custody battles at the same time.

Amber Portwood is about to marry Matt Baier, who might be the douchiest of all TM boyfriends and husbands, which is really saying something.

Farrah Abraham sadly remains Farrah Abraham.

Obviously, Kailyn isn’t saving any lives here, but she appears to be moving on from a difficult divorce in admirable fashion.

And hey, if she wants to take some time out to brag about her weight loss along the way, more power to her.

Trace Adkins: Wasted on Stage!

Trace Adkins performed in Seaside Heights, New Jersey on Wednesday evening.

But the only thing that stunk worse than the chemical plants in The Garden State that night was the breath on this country singer.

Because he was wasted!

In the following video, we see Adkins on stage, clearly slurring his words during a charity performance.

Yes, he was on hand as part of a fundraiser in honor of St. Jude’s Hospital.

But we need not even attach a question mark to the headline above because there"s no doubt here that Adkins had had way too much to drink.

He could scarcely make it through his own material, as many people in attendance scurried for the exit once it became clear what was happening.

Fortunately, Adkins has at least tried to make up for his miscue by making a large personal donation to the Children"s Hospital.

We tip our cap to him for that gesture.

But we also hope he gets help.

Back in 2014, Adkins got in a fight with a Trace Adkins look-alike on a cruise ship and subsequently went to rehab.

He later got divorced from his wife of 16 years.

So… props to Adkins for the way in which he made up for this embarrassing performance. But also a tip for Adkins:

Admin you have a problem. Seek professional assistance.

Martin Shkreli Might Be Going to Jail, Loves Pokemon Go

If you spend any time at all on social media, you’re likely familiar with both Martin Shkreli and Pokemon Go.

The two out-of-left-field phenomena have little in common other than the fact that they’ve both done a surprising amount of damage and the Internet can’t seem to get enough of them.

Pokemon Go has resulted in a shocking number of injuries and existential crises, as well as a never-ending stream of frustrated social media users who don’t understand why their adult co-workers are engaging in serious arguments about Squirtles and Jiggly Puffs.

Shkreli has caused a similar uproar, but for a much more serious reason.

During his time as CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals the so-called “Pharma Bro” jacked up the price on a potentially life-saving medication.

He also started a random feud with Ghostface Killah, despite the fact that most of us have been cautioned from a young age that the Wu Tang Clan ain’t nothin’ to f–k with.

Anyway, you’re probably wondering what Pikachu and the living incarnation of Millennial privilege could possibly have in common.

Well, it seems that like many others, Shkreli is a big, big Pokemon Go fanatic.

Unlike most, however, he might soon find it difficult to play the game thanks to a looming prison sentence.

Back in December, Shkreli was arrested on securities fraud charges after investigators alleged that he used stock from Turing to pay off debt from a hedge fund that he’d previously run into the ground. 

At an arraignment in Brooklyn yesterday, Shkreli threw his co-defendant under the bus by requesting a separate trial.

But the great part of this story is that a New York Daily News reporter claims that on his way out of the courtroom, Shkreli was heard to remark to his lawyer:

“Can I go play Pokemon go now?”

Yes, Shkreli has Charizards and Wartortles on the brain even as his future freedom hangs in the balance.

Fortunately, he’s not due back in court til June of 2017, so he’ll have plenty of time to catch ’em all before he’s ensnared himself.
