Rachel Lindsay: I Admit it, I Regret My Choice!

The first and most important news out of The Bachelorette: Men Tell All was, of course, that Dean Unglert is a clear favorite and would be perfect as the next Bachelor.

We already knew that, because we have sense.

Rachel Lindsay, looking back on Men Tell All and the entire season of The Bachelorette, is admitting that she regrets one decision — and would do it differently if she could.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Rachel Lindsay says that if she could go back and change one thing, she would have kicked one of the suitors to the curb way, way sooner:

“If I’m just honest, I’m going to be 100 percent honest, I’m just going to say one word: Lee.”

That would be Lee Garrett, folks.

You know, the one who got slammed for racism.

“I would have sent him home sooner.”

We should hope so.

You might think that the first black lead on The Bachelorette (shameful that it took so many seasons, by the way) wouldn’t be an inviting bride for, you know, racists.

But racism and reality television are both much, much more complicated than that.

First of all, not everyone goes on reality dating shows to find the love of their life.

They can’t all win, and they go into the show knowing this.

Getting to appear on another show in the Bachelor Nation or even just getting more social media followers an exposure is an amazing opportunity.

So long as they make a good impression.

Lee Garrett did not seem like a good guy — we’re not sure what he was hoping for, unless he thought that The Bachelor was going to cast him to court Trump fans or something.

As far as the idea of a racist guy trying to win the heart of a black woman goes, well, racism doesn’t make people blind.

Having black friends doesn’t mean that someone isn’t racist.

Having a black girlfriend or wife doesn’t mean that someone isn’t racist.

(And yes, that gets extra screwed up when children enter the mix and one of their parents has all of these prejudices that apply to them, too)

So … it’s sadly no surprise that Lee Garrett was competing for Rachel Lindsay’s hand.

If you remember from our The Bachelorette: Men Tell All recap, Rachel Lindsay was part of calling out Lee Garrett for racism.

During the special, Lee Garrett  tried to defend his actions, which really didn’t help.

During The Bachelorette, he kept getting into heated conflicts with other suitors.

Those other suitors tended to have something in common with each other — they were black.

Fans noticed.

Just about everybody noticed.

Lee’s excuse that he was “uncomfortable” and trying to “joke” to excuse his behavior … didn’t go over well.

Lee wasn’t only controversial for his actions on The Bachelorette — he also got into trouble for his antics on social media before he even went on the show.

Specifically, Lee Garrett’s racist tweets landed him in hot water with fans and on Men Tell All.

(Dude, even if you’re going to tweet super offensive stuff for whatever reason, maybe go delete them before you become famous)

They weren’t even old tweets that someone dug up — they were from within the last year.

There’s just no excuse.

Considering what those of you following The Bachelorette Spoilers already know, there are plenty of fans who think that Rachel Lindsay made a bigger mistake than letting Lee Garrett hang around.

Not everyone, to be clear.

But more than a few.

Actually, you don’t even need spoilers to know that sending Dean Unglert home before narrowing her suitors down to three was positively foolish.

But Lee Garrett had to go, as much because he and she clearly wouldn’t work out as to demonstrate to viewers how unacceptable he was.

But, you know, hindsight is always clearer.

And Rachel Lindsay didn’t know as much about Lee Garrett at the beginning of the series as she does now.

In many ways, if there were viewers who saw some of themselves in Lee Garrett and his excuses, maybe his example served as a wake-up call to them about their own choices and behaviors.

Still, we wonder if, in a year or so, Rachel Lindsay won’t have a larger regret about this season.

Matt Roloff Cradles Grandson, Can"t Believe He"s This Lucky

Matt Roloff is not about to take a single moment of grandparent-hood for granted.

At least not until little Jackson Kyle pees all over his brand new sweater.

We’re just kidding.

In all seriousness, the Little People, Big World star has shared a couple new photos of his grandson online, while also making it clear to followers that he could not be any more in love.

“I’m the luckiest grandpa ever.. I get to see Jackson almost every single day.. often several times each day,” Roloff wrote as a caption to the Facebook photo above on Sunday.

He then made a point of giving props to his son and his daughter-in-law for ensuring their child spends a lot of time with other members of the family.

“Thank you, Zach and Tori, for coming to the farm so often,” Matt added.

And just in case you thought it couldn’t get any more precious than the snapshot featured here, Matt went ahead and posted the following image on Instagram:

HOLY HILARIOUS CUTENESS, right?!?

“Forget about it!! Spoken in a deep raspy voice,” Matt captioned this picture.

The veteran reality star previously gushed over Jackson in a video that featured the three-month old talking… sort of.

He and his ex-wife, Amy Roloff, simply can’t get enough of the family’s first grandchild.

And we can’t blame them! Not one bit!

Just look at this precious little fella:

Elsewhere in major Roloff news, daughter Molly is getting married on August 5.

The ceremony and reception will take place at the family farm, with Radar Online warning that a bit of drama may ensue.

Why? Because both Matt and Amy will be bringing their relatively new significant others to the event.

Amy will attend with boyfriend Chris Malek, while Caryn Chandler will be on Matt’s arm when he gives his only daughter away.

Will this really be a big deal, however?

Amy and Matt split in 2015 after nearly three decades of wedded bliss and both have reacted to the break-up in mature fashion.

“After 27 years of marriage, it is with great sadness that we have come to the difficult decision to file for divorce,” the Roloff parents wrote at the time.

They continued:

“We are proud of what we have accomplished together, including raising our four wonderful children, who have grown to become remarkable adults and building our strong and ongoing successful businesses.

“Our kids and our ever-growing family, and the love and support we have for them, will be our priority. We will continue to work together side-by-side in the daily responsibilities for our many current ventures.

“We would like to thank our family, friends, and all our fans for their continued support and understanding during this difficult time.”

To date, Amy and Matt have stuck by these words.

They’ve always put their children first and we see no reason why that will change on the most important day of one of their children’s lives.

We just hope Molly shares a few wedding photos online at some point next week.

We really want to see her dress!

Brandi Glanville, Joanna Krupa Settle Foul-Smelling Vagina Lawsuit

Our long national nightmare is over.

… Because Brandi Glanville and Joanna Krupa have finally settled their lawsuit.

That’s right, folks. The Curious Case of the Allegedly Smelly Vagina has reached its conclusion.

It’s hard to go into a highly publicized lawsuit and come out smelling like roses.

Given the circumstances, though, we wouldn’t care to speculate on Joanna’s odor. She apparently tends to overreact.

Brandi Glanville and Joanna Krupa have put an end to Joanna’s $ 15,000 lawsuit with an out-of-court settlement, the details of which are still under wraps.

But it looks like Joanna, at least, is happy with the results.

Because it’s Brandi Glanville who’s issuing a public apology.

Brandi Glanville’s apology, shared with E!, doesn’t admit to any slander or whatever but nonetheless gives Joanna about as much out-of-court vindication as she could expect.

“I want to apologize to Joanna Krupa for the statements I have made about her.”

Honestly, and we absolutely love Brandi, but that’s long overdue, right?

“I regret making such statements about Joanna Krupa; I also certainly never intended my statements to be taken so seriously and out of proportion”

She regrets making the statements — well, of course she does, since nobody likes getting sued.

As for regretting them being “taken so seriously and out of proportion,” well … the only one who really did that was Joanna Krupa herself.

You gotta admire a woman who throws shade even in her public apology.

“I apologize as I never wanted my statements to affect Joanna Krupa’s reputation and I wish her nothing but continued success in life.”

That last part’s … diplomatic.

Not necessarily true, but that’s a tasteful ending to an agreed upon apology.

As for the details of the settlement, which haven’t been revealed, we can only give you our educated guess:

Since they settled, they probably didn’t exchange money.

Both Brandi and Joanna are worth millions, so we don’t imagine that the $ 15,000 was the big deal here.

No, what was at stake was their respective reputations and clearly shared stubbornness.

Seriously, these two have more in common than gorgeous looks and Real Housewives fame.

It’s unbelievable that this absurd farce of our legal system made it into court for this long.

We’re guessing that the “nail in the coffin” for Brandi’s defense — whatever forced her to capitulate and apologize — was the recent testimony of Joanna Krupa’s ex.

If you remember, Romain Zago claims that Joanna Krupa’s vagina smells wonderful.

That’s a real thing that he said in court, claiming that her genital odor is the “best in the world.”

By the end of that guy’s testimony, you’d have thought that Joanna’s genital odor doubled as an air freshener.

But however it came to be, thank goodness that this particular bit of nonsense is over.

Though we still don’t know if Joanna Krupa is ever going to live down the “smelly vagina” association.

And that’s not Brandi’s fault — we don’t think that people would still be talking about it if Joanna hadn’t made such a stink about it.

(Pun not intended, we swear)
