Sources say Justin made his feelings clear, and the whole situation made for an unfortunate start to Jen and Justin’s life together as a married couple.
Now, the actors are facing another early hurdle, as due to their hectic work schedules, Jen and Justin will spend the next three months apart.
The forced separation was expected (Jen is in Atlanta shooting a movie, Justin is in Austin shooting his HBO series, The Leftovers), but sources say that’s not making things any easier.
According to Radar Online, Jen and Justin have had little contact with one another in the past few weeks, and one or both parties may be feeling that married life isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
Witnesses say Justin (who has struggled with substance abuse issues in the past) was recently spotted leaving a liquor store with a bottle in his hand.
For her part, Jen has reportedly been distant and lethargic on set.
Aniston and Theroux have been together for several years, and it’s unlikely that their feelings changed abruptly after tying the knot, but spending several months in different states would be enough to put any new marriage to the test.
