Scandal Lives Up To Its Name As Things Get Hot & Heavy AND A Little Bit Deadly In The Season Premiere! SPOILERS!

We’re so glad it’s back!

Scandal‘s season premiere aired last night as part of ABC’s TGIT — or ShondaLand!

Last season, we ended with Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and her gang straight up murdering people in order to take down her evil daddy!

But now we’re onto the new season, finally! Watch out because SPOILERS are coming!!

Of course there was also the total makeout sesh between Olivia and President Fitzgerald Grant (Tony Goldwyn)! And if you’re #TeamOlitz, you’re going to LOVE the what happened last night!

Depending on what side of the fence you fall on in regards to who should be Olivia’s main man — President Grant or Jake Ballard (Scott Foley), you might not be happy about the opening scene as it showed our sweet Olivia getting down and dirty with the Prez as she strips out of her couture dress!

It’s good to see things haven’t changed!

But their relationship is apparently hitting new levels as old Fitzy did something a bit shocking to Mellie Grant (Bellamy Young)!

Just as she was being sworn in as a Senator probably thinking about how happy her life was going to be with her husband — BAM, she’s handed divorce papers from the POTUS! That’s cold even for politics!

But there was a storyline in the episode too!

Olivia was working for the royals and welcomed Princess Emily of Caledonia — don’t worry, you’re not crazy, that’s totally NOT a country — who was killed in a car accident along with her unborn baby right after she was introduced!

This is where the show truly lived up to its name once again as Olivia was supposed to handle the press for the accident but instead solved the murder! Yeah, it was a murder planned by the Queen all because poor lil Emily was having an affair with her bodyguard!

Olivia and Fitz then hit a snag in their romance due to this drama because the Head of State didn’t want to prosecute his royal guests — something Olivia wasn’t happy with at all! So of course Olivia went against him and took down the Queen for murdering her daughter-in-law.

Oh yeah, and Olivia told Grant that they shouldn’t take their relationship public!

Unfortunately for them though, the former VP, Sally Langston, had photographic evidence of the two of them that she went public with herself — whoops.

What did you think of last night’s episode?! Was it as scandalous as you hoped! Sound off in the comments (below)!
